16 Jan 2019 18:23:25
Really need him to kick some a@*e!!!

16 Jan 2019 18:43:50
As Aitor left the club on Thursday, or Friday and Martin was as good as said to be our manager on Monday the club had been talking to Martin for a few weeks. I think the club wanted to be sure they were going after Martin, and that he was wanting to join us before turning to Keane as they were sure he would follow Martin in hardly anytime time once confirmed.

16 Jan 2019 18:45:52
Roy is taking a lot longer than I expected but hopefully it’s sorted soon,as in before Saturday’s home game!! He is well able to negotiate so I’d imagine if he has agreed to join Martin he’s dotting the i ‘s and crossing the T’s.

16 Jan 2019 21:11:12
There is competition from the local glazing contractors to become his kit sponsor. There should be a breakthrough for the weekend! 🤣

16 Jan 2019 17:07:37
Next four matches home and away a sell out. Forest was expecting lowest crowd of the season this Saturday. Not now the M. O. M. Revolution is in full swing.

Will try and make it happen!!!

16 Jan 2019 15:59:17
I sincerely hope that i am wrong but I have my reservations with this managerial appointment.
Time, for me, is no longer on my side to see once again this great club of ours back in the top level.
My concerns is that none of the three main players EM, MON and if he joins us RK have a record for showing tolerance and this could just be a caldron waiting to boil over due to the owner if he does not get results quickly and the manager if he has any form of interference.
I mentioned last October that my opinion was that AK had until Xmas to turn draws into wins and he failed to do this. I do not agree that he lost the dressing room in any way but (and again just my opinion) I believe that a DOF was forced upon him and he would not agree to this appointment and hence he walked albeit the owner did nothing to stop him due to poor results.
I read and hear comments that Slavisa Jokanovic turned us down due to salary. This to me does not make any sense seeing as it looks as if we have Roy Keane joining MON yet another salary and also just appointing a DOF. My thought are that he turned us down due to the owner wanting success on a quick turnaround and I am of the opinion that Slavisa is also not a fan of the DOF system.
I sincerely hope that the managerial team of MON is given a full season after this one to show what he can do without having the constant pressure of an owner breathing down his neck and please please let me be wrong about my thoughts and let him take us once again to great places.

Agree3 Disagree4

16 Jan 2019 16:31:53
Someone pointed out earlier that Lolley said nothing publicly about regretting Aitor leaving Forest, yet as soon as Wagner, a previous manager of his left Huddersfield Lolley was quick to give him credit publicly.

If he was so against a DOF why did he wait so long to walk, and wait so close to a game before doing so.

Again someone said, and i agree with them, there are three sides to the situation, Aitor's view, the owners view, and the truth.

16 Jan 2019 16:44:11
Re: Salary, the rumour is the ex-Fulham guy wanted premier league wages. MON and RK will be on half of that combined. The other thing to note is that a lot of the backroon staff left with AK so their wages will be gone too. MON will have to get his team sorted, then look into the squad. I’m not blown away by this appointment but I’m confident we’re in safe and stable hands, and thankful we’ve got someone with forest in their soul in charge rather than a sellsword.

16 Jan 2019 15:37:38
I know we're struggling in the position due to injuries but if Wigan are prepared to make a better offer I would sell Fox for sure.

Agree5 Disagree3

16 Jan 2019 18:49:40
"for sure". Is that you Aitor?

16 Jan 2019 15:07:28
Instead of wasting next few days in training seeing who he wants rid of. O'Neil should look on here for the answers.
We know who's not up to it and which positions need strengening.
Keeper centre back winger forward at least.

16 Jan 2019 15:29:07
Ok mate. Martin if your reading this I was (am) a box to box midfielder, with an eye for the killer pass and spectacular goals for one of my home towns local clubs. Church Star Thirds (Don't let the name put you off mate).
I was Player Of The Month and dare I say it Player if the Year in 1990. (don't let the year put you off as it's really just a number).
I can also play "Sweeper" (now there's a term you don't here anymore). I'll even dye my hair blonde again like Terry Wilson did.
So take a punt on me mate. I won't let you down.
PS. I'm usually in bed by 8 pm as I'm a baker. so I can't take part in any evening matches. as I say don't let that put you off.
Excitedly waiting for your reply.

Rogie (Ronaldo,Ronaldhinio,Ramos) Red

16 Jan 2019 15:51:01
Get those boots polished rogie with some dubbing 🤣🤣🤣🍻🍻🍻

16 Jan 2019 16:03:55
I think I'd rather roll dice, flip a coin or ask a 3-year old for managerial advice than take tips from some of the donuts that post on here.

Saying that, I am (was) a No9 in the Drogba mould if MON is reading this. Sign me up, I'd take a grand a week.

16 Jan 2019 16:26:08
Mate,I'd play for a Cod Supper!!!🐟🐟🐟🍟🍟🍟

16 Jan 2019 16:36:53
If your football was the same standard as some of your posts I wouldn’t hold your breath

16 Jan 2019 16:42:08
We/You know what we need???

Well any Forest fan who doesn’t mention a leftback doesn’t know as we have needed one for about a decade or more!!!!

16 Jan 2019 16:48:59
When I was playing my manager said I reminded humbly of Berbatov. I’ll take £500 a week (after tax) and guarantee you that I will bring a sense of wonder as I get in space where there should be none (Locker Room)

16 Jan 2019 16:55:20
My post was For sswe not you rogie not nice to call people donuts for offering an opinion,

16 Jan 2019 17:05:22
Stevie f. what part of "Banter" do you not understand mate???

16 Jan 2019 17:16:19
The bit with the hole in it,you doughnut😁😁😁

16 Jan 2019 17:27:45
Sorry Stevie f ☹️

16 Jan 2019 17:28:39
Nice one Ff79!! Lol

16 Jan 2019 17:55:08
Rogie no problem mate my fault for not making it clear who my post was.for and I knew as soon as I saw how the posts sat it would be misconstrued

16 Jan 2019 17:57:52
Can anyone tell me can you still get shin pads with canes in?

16 Jan 2019 18:09:57
No probs Stevie F. and Carlo I'll lend you mine. and I'll even throw in a tube of Deep Heat!!! 🔥🔥🔥

16 Jan 2019 18:34:58
I was the only kid at school who had the steel toe cap boots,we were poor in those days and they were handed down from my older brothers.
Suffice to say not many wanted to tackle me, didn't need shin pads as I wore four pair of socks as my mum always allowed for growing room,
Popped a few leather balls and a few nether ones as well, happy😀😀😀

16 Jan 2019 18:53:50
Stevie f .Do you sometimes fire from the hip mate?

16 Jan 2019 18:40:12
Well Martin we never quite got you to turn out for us on Sundays back in the day but I'm happy to bring my boots and fill in the gaps either side out wide . A wing back before they became fashionable!!

16 Jan 2019 19:34:59
Sgetty not really mate I just don’t like people using abuse towards those who have a different opinion , if you don’t agree with someone put your argument,no need to call people donuts and 3 year olds etc,my point with you yesterday about the contract for instance, 1st thought it’s nobody else’s business, then you made your point about it usually being made public and you were right so I admitted you were someone had a go at a lad from eastbourne yesterday on here , and I thought that was out of order as well

16 Jan 2019 19:48:14
Ff779 thought everyone at fairham wore them! Used to feel like it in the inter house matches lol

16 Jan 2019 20:13:17
They came in handy when I was playing rugby and I never needed a padlock on my locker.
Mind you vivs brother had the hardest kick, the kid had attitude with that iron.

16 Jan 2019 20:21:26
Ff779 spare a thought for me I had to play against viv he was shall we say slightly better than most of the rest of us!

16 Jan 2019 21:03:14
Steve I think you've either misread or misunderstood my post to Eastbourne as I was sticking up for him.

16 Jan 2019 21:04:58
I wasn't entirely happy with a post from red balloons

16 Jan 2019 21:19:54
Sgetty that’s the 1 I thought was wrong mate not yours

16 Jan 2019 22:21:19
Yep sorry pal I subconsciously put full stop in wrong place when reading your post.

16 Jan 2019 11:38:45
Forest are 4th favourites to sign Yaya Toure behind Celtic and Chinese/MLS clubs. I can't understand why our odds would be the second shortest of any UK club?

Agree1 Disagree4

16 Jan 2019 12:11:24
Possibly because he himself thinks it would be a slighlty easier ride in the relative leagues ( at the risk of upsetting our friends north of the border ) and in the case of America and China a substantial amount of money.
Undoubtably a fantastic player in his time but for me, approaching 36yrs of age, no thank you

16 Jan 2019 12:53:24
Can't see that happening at all the wages would be unaffordable, same goes for Celtic.

16 Jan 2019 13:21:20
Ff especially Celtic

16 Jan 2019 10:47:10
Although we were not given an opportunity to vote in our leader, despite our differing views and perhaps even divisions, I hope that we can all unite behind them and what they are trying to achieve for us. The last thing we need is to keep chopping and changing.

What we need now is strong and stable leadership, and I believe that they will be able to provide this. There may need to be a re-shuffle within the leadership team and time will tell who is tasked to support them over the challenging months ahead.

For far too long we have been in this malaise and it has not gone unnoticed that our near neighbours seem to have enjoyed seeing us suffer. We cannot change our neighbours, geography is what it is, but perhaps in time we can demonstrate to them once again just how great we are. In any case, they haven't been that great either!

There has been significant trade with our neighbours over the years in both directions, and there is no reason that this cannot continue in some form in the years ahead. We don't have to like them to do business with them as long as it is on terms agreeable to us. Let's face it, they have done very well out of us over the years and dare I say it; we have bailed them out of a hole or two.

There have been many complaints about our problematic back-stopper, which I am sure our leader will give much thought to. We do definitely need a back-stopper in case things aren't going too well, but perhaps the current one can be replaced by another that is able to achieve what is required.

Whatever your thoughts on Europe, it has been important to us over the years and I for one do not want to say goodbye to it forever. We have enjoyed many happy times in Europe's embrace in the past and although our ties to it have deteriorated terribly, I hope that we are able rejoin European affairs in the not too distant future and be welcomed back with open arms. How nice it would be to have the freedom and opportunity to revisit such wonderful cities as Munich and Madrid.

Our successful presence on the European stage earned us respect and admiration, not just in Europe, but around the world, and I for one look forward to the day that this returns!

16 Jan 2019 11:52:26
Great about mon coming to stop a sinking ship hoping know we'll see some proper football and fingers crossed 2 upfront I know he likes 442 and hey if it means winning games , please sign a decent keeper

16 Jan 2019 12:38:41
And that was a party political broadcast by the forest unite party. 😀😀😀

16 Jan 2019 13:32:34
I will support Martin. Loved here by all but I do think he is past his best. Keane will upset everyone and it will end in tears. I wanted Jokanovic but hope I am wrong.

16 Jan 2019 13:45:54
Karanka upset more than a few,Worrall,Clough, ward, bridcutt,Yates, appiah,Smith, walker,Watson, and a few more will be glad to see the back of him.
Think Keane has learnt from Martin and will install confidence and discipline in the players, something that's been lacking.

16 Jan 2019 14:06:12
799, I bet even Keane's dog does not like him, he seems to have not learned from any of his mistakes let alone anything off Martin. 🤣

16 Jan 2019 14:38:00
According to Colback in an interview Keane was never afraid to rip into people when they played badly but was really encouraging and positive when you played well which made players want to always play well and avoid his Raith!
Not a bad thing in my eyes!!!

16 Jan 2019 15:02:19
RR, Different people react in different ways to to those antics. A rollicking needs to be handed out every now and then to be be effective, not on a regular basis.

16 Jan 2019 15:14:50
Keane’s dog looks very attached to his master from what I’ve seen.

16 Jan 2019 15:25:01
2star, If you call a lead being attached to its collar at one end and the other end being in Keane's hand then yes very attached. 🤣

16 Jan 2019 16:06:56
Still not sure if the original post is about Forest or Brexit.

Great post though.

16 Jan 2019 16:58:24
Really? Ok never mind.

16 Jan 2019 18:35:30
We are not in crisis we have an experienced manager at the helm.

The squad shortcomings are still the same and most of the players on the upset list are not good enough except maybe our academy players who should now get a go before we recruit?

Free hit on Saturday so handbrake off, smiley faces, 3 points and a few goals please?

Please can we stop this negativity and harping back it's happened, he's gone, The King is Dead Long Live The King! 😁😁😁😁👍

16 Jan 2019 09:35:36
Even though it may involve parting with compensation, Garry Birtles reckons M ON will recall Worrall. It makes sense to me as I think Foxy will be sold and we simply have to strengthen our threadbare defence. Also, whilst on the subject, Martin needs to improve our very poor disciplinary record for which we are now paying a very high price. YOU REDS!

Agree3 Disagree0

16 Jan 2019 11:30:28
Worrall should never have been allowed to go, he is much better than Hefele and makes less mistakes he and Figeredo should be our starting CBs.

I hope Ryan Yates and Appiah are given a chance by MON as I think Yates could be the next Keane, very similar player.Clear the decks of the over 30 jouneymen club and put some pride back in the Garibaldi shirt again!

16 Jan 2019 11:53:23
7980, Are you aware of how our illustrations manager has worked at his past clubs.

16 Jan 2019 13:23:50
He did a lot of wall-painting LC.

16 Jan 2019 14:40:59
Before the weekend are discipline record wasn’t that bad!

16 Jan 2019 16:44:58
Not sure about that redrascal.
Colback and Robinson have picked up nine each and are only one off a ban.
Add that to pants few for time wasting carvahlo has a few plus all the others,
Equates to 65 bookings 2 sending off and 4 double yellows, bottom of the fair play league.
Does need addressing

16 Jan 2019 08:18:09
Should for any reason Keane decide not to help the manager out who would be the person most likely to asked to him. 🤔.

Agree1 Disagree0

16 Jan 2019 10:57:26
I think it's a real shame Robbo isn't well enough as I think that was when we saw M ON as his managerial best.

16 Jan 2019 00:20:33
Just red article on Twitter that lollley has thanked Wagner at Huddersfield for helping him during his career but not mentioned anything about Karanka? Read into it what you will but just saying.

Agree2 Disagree2

16 Jan 2019 08:57:07
He obviously didn't think that much of krankie 😆

16 Jan 2019 10:59:32
Or maybe he's still traumatised by his departure and finds it too painful to talk about.

16 Jan 2019 11:20:48
Yes I'm sure it's that sgetty lol😂😂😂

16 Jan 2019 11:26:42
Bit like when me and Mr Columbo left me for a younger women.

16 Jan 2019 11:57:47
I hope you told Peter to Falk off!

16 Jan 2019 17:01:04
A dastardly deed Mrs Colombo,he's obviously being a dick.
