Well after that little performance by Bamford, I am so glad we never seriously pursued him as a Forest player. Utter disgrace and should be banned. Credit to Bielsa, but Leeds aren't called dirty for nothing.

I don't see why any side should feel obliged to kick the ball out of play, it's a ridiculous unwritten rule of 'fair play'. There's rarely 'fair play' in football with all the diving, cheating and trying to get players sent off etc. so why pretend we're being 'fair' by kicking the ball out? Ridiculous.

Only one person on the pitch can stop the game and that's the Referee. And we wonder why football has a discipline problem compared to other sports, when we're encouraging players to take the rules into their own hands? Pathetic.

Goal should have stood, Villa should've paid the price for stopping and wandering about aimlessly expecting Leeds to kick the ball out. It's one of the first 'rules' I was ever taught when playing football and the 'rule' should still be in place.

Spot on pal.

3.) 29 Apr 2019 16:28:18
Well said wonky πŸ‘

4.) 29 Apr 2019 16:37:22
I must have missed it when the refs had their whistles taken from them - absolute joke, s@#% like this happens but we can’t stop shirt pulling, time wasting, diving etc
We all crave for consistency from the refs and the law makers are supposedly trying to help refs, then this happens-everyone relies on a player kicking it out of play?? would this have happened in a cup final or a play off game? Stuff like this and some var decisions could cause riots πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

5.) 29 Apr 2019 16:52:33
Cheers, chaps. I'm glad it's not just me.

Can you imagine the furore if there was more riding on the game? If Leeds were still in the hunt for automatic promotion? Or if Villa were still trying to seal a play-off place? Would they have still let Villa score a 'walk-though' goal? I doubt it. Then the media would've had a field day ripping Leeds apart.

Most players that go down are just looking for a rest anyway, or buying their team some time in an act of time wasting.

You're injured, so what! This is football, not the ballet. Unless your bloody heads falling off - Game on!

6.) 29 Apr 2019 20:56:33
Depends,if someones seriously injured then yes it should be kicked out if the ref is not close enough to realise, most footballers know when a player is seriously injured and do the right thing, its the play actors that cause the problems, wet sponge never made anyone better.

7.) 29 Apr 2019 21:44:19
I wonder why Mr Bielsa did not invite Forest to score after Keefe.s deliberate handball? Now that would have been genuine sportsmanship? # meaningless gesture!

8.) 30 Apr 2019 10:31:37
Well said 79.

22 Apr 2019 16:55:01
Anyone who thinks Carvalho is a waste of space needs to think again. That was a sublime performance on how to be a creative midfielder. Bravo!

1.) 22 Apr 2019 16:57:53
Agreed on that performance was it the formation or was he playing to stay or go? Great performance from the hole team.

11 Apr 2019 13:50:31
Now I know why the black hole has appeared; to suck in our final playoff hopes lol.

1.) 11 Apr 2019 17:05:02
That black hole has been there for quite a while.Almost as long as the last time we were in play offs.

2.) 11 Apr 2019 18:06:18
There's a "big black hole in our defence!!!

3.) 11 Apr 2019 19:09:57
More like an abyss

4.) 11 Apr 2019 20:50:12
A black hole is thought to be formed when a star collapses and 'dies' at the end of it's 'life'. Well Forest have two stars, has one collapsed and died? Oops.πŸ˜–

5.) 12 Apr 2019 07:55:34
Nothing can ever take our two stars. Not even a black hole!

6.) 12 Apr 2019 14:13:17
Brian Clough and Peter Taylor
Two super stars. RIP.
Left the biggest hole in the city ground
Which even the most optimistic of us
know will never be the same again.

I was optimistic when MON was given the managers role; was a tad worried about how long he'd been out of the loop, sure, but willing to give the benefit of doubt. Now fast forward a good few games. MoN doesn't appear to know what he is doing; the football is quite frankly, rank; and no matter what MoN comes out with in the interviews I just cannot see us going anywhere fast with him and Keane in charge. we've gone from playing some sublime football at times under Karanka, to now playing percentage hoofball, leaving our better creative players to rust on the bench, and basically not being able to find our backsides with both hands. Grabban looks likes he's no longer interested; everything is played through Lolley, and is therefore easy to stifle; we keep playing Osborn at left back against some of the tallest and most physical players in the Championship. What's happening? For me it's time - or certainly close to it - for MoN and Keane to walk, before pushed. My biggest fear is that if they are here next season, then regardless of the players he may get in, they'll end up playing the same dross we've been served up in recent games. The players we have are more than capable of playing decent, passing football . but look how they play at the moment. and that can only mean one or two things; the way they are being managed and trained, or they simply aren't playing for O'Neil for some reason.

1.) 10 Apr 2019 12:20:21
couldn't agree more!

2.) 10 Apr 2019 12:45:27
Chimaera71, with the alleged fall outs behind the scenes, sadly I think the players don't want to play MON's way. They're just going through the motions.😐

3.) 10 Apr 2019 12:49:01
Sorry to admit it but in my opinion correct . What manager is available let alone would come . Need some bright young up and coming manager from the lower leagues as their ain't much good as l can see.

4.) 10 Apr 2019 13:14:52
Many have suggested Danny Cowley at Lincoln City.

5.) 10 Apr 2019 14:58:16
S-Getty mate people on here talking about O’Neill’s football style negativly and then mentioning the cowley brothers as a replacement make me laugh they hit longer than tiger woods, when thy get a corner they use an old air raid siren to intimidate the opposition at Lincoln lol

6.) 10 Apr 2019 15:31:56
I like it Stevie.πŸ˜†

Well we all know when it comes to selling players, we will not sell for Β£6m. It'll be Β£4m max.

I can't understand why some are calling Pants; he got the third highest clean sheet stat last season, didn't he. That's nothing to mock really. But. on the other hand, he has made some right clangers and his distribution is at best inaccurate.

Agree with some that Benny is a headless chicken most games. Sure, he comes up with a worldy every so often, but nowhere consistent enough for my liking. He's a very frustrating player, in that you have a feeling he can be so much better, but it never materialises. So. I guess in saying sell, lol.

We need to try and keep:

Colback (think he'll go tho)
Dawson (if kept fit, and made capt)
Apiah (send out on loan)

I think Grabban has become lazy and obviously has a crock Achilles. so he can go.

Osborn for me doesn't offer an awful lot, except for running around loads.
Cash is not good enough.
Yates not good enough (yet?).
Watson can go.
Murphy can do one.
Pants can go.
Pele can go.

Not sure re Darikwa

I agree re especially the striker comment. I saw the pics of the squad arriving before the kick off against Blackburn. I said at the time that Grabban looks as though he's just got out of bed, and looked knackered/can't be bothered. Lo and behold - from all the comments during and after the match - he looked totally disinterested. Has he fallen out with MoN or Keano? Either way. he was not very good

Yep. it give out the wrong signals; cheat and you'll get a slap on the wrist, but you'll get to keep your points. I Tweeted the FA and heard no reply, about exactly the points raised here. We were screwed over, were the rightful winners in this case, but still end up losing.
