Sorry if I upset anyone with my yesterday's post about moaning, was just thinking that we, including myself have moaned about most things Forest, all this season, so on a day when good things happened, we won and played well got the three points scored three goals, and the team selection was good . WHY is it that some fans are and never will be satisfied, surely even those of you that want CH out can give him a bit of credit when he gets things right.

Most of you know that I've stated that I didn't think young Mighton was ready for more than the odd game this season. I'm pleased to say that he's making me eat my words . looks like I was wrong, he has to play most if not all of the remaining games till the end of the season, well done YOUNG MAann.

1.) 06 Apr 2021 09:10:31
Dream i would be surprised if you upset anyone, i do agree when the team wins in the manner they did we should all be happy. I think with some it is all about them never wanting Hughton at the club so they begrudge saying anything positive about anything that he and the players do. We, no matter what we think of a manager, or player should always be able to be big enough to say when they have, and are doing a good job.

2.) 06 Apr 2021 10:00:23
At the end of the day MT surly we all support the club NOTTINGHAM FOREST not the manager or even the players, because we have no say in any of that.

3.) 06 Apr 2021 10:11:09
True, managers leave in their droves, and players move on often but there will always be Nottingham Forest Football Club.

4.) 06 Apr 2021 10:17:55
Dreamteam just let it go mate. Redhotred as pointed out by get forward was just picking up on a couple of things. if your going to put posts out on here get used to it. Were all different. Its banter mate.

5.) 06 Apr 2021 10:35:40
I think it is a case of RHR enjoyed the game but his dislike of Cafu and the manager took over, RHR needed to wait a while longer before posting.

6.) 06 Apr 2021 13:10:41
Bowie I’m used to getting stick on here mate so that’s not what pi##ed me off, it’s the fact that we had, had such a good day for once, everything went well, yet some always have to spoil it, we all know Cafu ain't the best in the world, but when he pulls the Forest shirt on he’s playing for my club and he does his best I’m sure. As for all people being different, of course we are, but we are all supposed to have one thing in common, on this site, the love and support of NFFC not pick fault when we’ve had a good day.

Now I’m done with issue, and will try to stop moaning about moaners.

7.) 06 Apr 2021 13:37:07
Getting stressed about how satisfied other fans are is pretty draining I expect. There's nothing wrong with being pleased we won and still having other things that bother you. We are all human.

It's brilliant that we won. It is still cruel on Forest's other strikers that a player who has been useless always gets picked ahead of them. It's true. If it doesn't bother you then cool but give yourself a break and let other humans moan if they feel like it. It has been a tough season and tough year in other ways. People come on here to have a banter and sometimes a moan. More power to them all.

Love it!

8.) 06 Apr 2021 13:38:35
And I think we should have a ban on moaning about people moaning. If you don't agree with what someone says about footy then comment on the point. Play the ball not the man!

9.) 06 Apr 2021 16:45:25
Was always a better game when you could take the man as well as the ball red c, just ask some of our true greats.

10.) 06 Apr 2021 17:26:59
Wish you’d stop moaning Dreamteam🤣.

30 Mar 2021 15:03:58
Sorry lads missed a name off my retain list, and I can here you saying now, what a tit. The name is Murray I do believe that if we could bring in two young strikers they would learn so much from him it could be brilliant for them, to me even at his age he's the best proper CF at the club, he lays balls off with parts of the body the other two don't even know exist, if we could put the best bits of the three together we'd have one he'll of a player, the running of Taylor, the skils of, Murray and goal scoring of the old grabbon, dream on. But keep Murray for me.
I'll await your views on that one.
With interest.

1.) 30 Mar 2021 16:42:40
Heres one for you ED thoughts please. A mate of mine is a Newcastle fan. He text me with the theory. A lot of players are feigning injuries. Thus taking them down to the championship. Reason (he thinks) if Newcastle go down the EFL will probably accept the takeover which mike Ashley has been looking for from the arabs. Aa the premier click won't allow this. Iv'e got to admit he's got a point. Its not just league football now but international as we all know is so corrupt. Very sad times.

{Ed001's Note - he is deluded. The Premier League would love to get rid of Ashley, he is unwanted and disliked. The players are not feigning injury, they are injured, the training at the club is too soft and the players are simply not fully fit. It is a common complaint at every club Bruce has managed.}

2.) 30 Mar 2021 17:19:16
Cheers ED will let him know 👍.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate.}

30 Mar 2021 13:47:10
Morning gentlemen and other posters, the dream team's back, ( if only ay. ) anyway I did seem to get a little bit of a discussion going on here about what we all wanted to see happen to the squad ready for next season, providing we stay in the championship. Think most of us agreed that we need a much younger squad, that being the case how do we go about it, quite a few of you want to throw the young lads in on block, I don't think that can work, but give me your views. Some want, NO most want C H out, even with a new squad to work with? . New manager new squad, doesn't that put us back where we've been for god knows how many years, views everyone. I personally think that we have too keep quite a few of the younger but senior pros like, Samba I know I'll get stick for that, but a young keeper and young squad, not for me. McKenna, Figs, ( if he don't want to go home) same with Ribero and Taylor, a lot of you don't like Cafu, I do, I still think he'll make a player, give me your views, I left Worrell off the list, for the obvious reason, selling him for the money needed, personally I'd love to keep him, but if we need to bye some younger players in from whatever league they won't come cheap because other clubs can see we are desperate, especially midfielders and up front, also like a lot of you have said, you don't want to see anymore loan signings, looks as though we have to bye quite a few players again and we all know what can happen with bringing in loads of players all at once, views again lads. No good opening a debate up about a new manager as I think CH will be given another season or part of it. Most of you won't like that, my opinion, too much change all at one time ain't on, so were do we start, bet I know the answer to that one! Seriously though there's a lot of work to be done at the end of the season, and it won't and can't all get done at one go, I m afraid its going to take time, time I'm running out of, So come on everyone at Forest, pull your fingers out and get it started, put a smile back on my and all the other lads faces, we all love the club NF forever, just give us decent football to watch .
Sorry its so long lads
But like everything to do with Forest
It's long and drawn out.
Like the new ground! .

1.) 30 Mar 2021 15:03:44
We ha e to with youth or Olympiakos rejects unless we sell Worrall to raise money if we got 12n we could buy 2 or 3 new young strikers.

Jephcott and Shankland and possibly Yates from Blackpool I know Worrall is our best player but, Mbe Soh is a great prospect a d we desperately needs some goal threat.

Grabban and Murray need to go but possibly keep Taylor as a squad player.

That is just my opinion fellow Reds, otherwise another season with pensioners loaness and over the hill journeymen.

2.) 30 Mar 2021 16:44:24
two strikers and a big target man, play 4312. opens up many combo ways to play.

3.) 30 Mar 2021 17:02:50
What ever happens it,s the recruitment team that is the big issue and if they remain it will all go belly up again!

4.) 30 Mar 2021 17:20:03
Got to agree carlo until this recruitment team is shown the door, and people brought in who understand football and what is required to make a team that can challenge for promotion, we are going nowhere, simple as that.

5.) 30 Mar 2021 17:36:56
Until we stop signing these old worn out player on we are going nowhere doesn't this so called recruitment team we have realise if these players were any good the teams who let them go would hang on to them if they had anything about them, you can't blame the players if some team offers them 1 last pay day, anybody in the right mind would do the same.

6.) 30 Mar 2021 20:19:37
Worrall won't want to stay he will have seen first hand that its not going anywhere with so much disruption with the amount of players coming and going.
Its a sad state when we put out five loans on a matchday but still can't win a game?
All down to tactics or should i say lack of tactics.

7.) 30 Mar 2021 20:44:40
Not many answers coming in to all the views I put forward on my earlier post lads.

8.) 30 Mar 2021 20:47:32
Just my view but why not just clear out the likes of after, colback, send all the loans back, grabban can go Murray I'd keep as a coach taylor can go and just play the young lads build for a future don't do what we usually do get rid of our decent young players and replace them with over the hill journey men as for Hoghton I expected a lot from him and have been quite disappointed yes we can say he can only play with what he has but he sometimes don't seem to have a clue when we need a goal he'll bring in a defender but then again we have 6 defenders on the pitch each game, I thought he would at the very least make our players move better off the ball we are the most boring team in the championship and that's saying something.

9.) 30 Mar 2021 21:19:37
Is that because not long ago dteamteam you stated that you were only on here to wind everyone up?
Just saying.

10.) 30 Mar 2021 22:21:05
Hughton will get another season I think And I can’t see us playing the kids Dan . It’s not the hughton way and I think he will be here next season .

11.) 31 Mar 2021 13:32:55
Perhaps Forest but I can also be serious mate, the fact is you don’t take a lot of wineding .

12.) 31 Mar 2021 14:36:07
Hes always on the wine 🤭.

29 Mar 2021 17:17:28
Ive read all of your posts on here throughout the season and you lads have come up with every excuse you could think of as too why Forest are so poor, you've blamed everyone at the club, owner, chairman, DOF, manager, as manager, training, tactics, selection, favourites, to name but a few. So ok come the end of the season and we stay up, I read a lot of you want C H out, and most of the senior players out as well, ok, so we keep McKenna and Worrall and according to some, perhaps Taylor up front. Three players from the first team squad with experience, then you want to fill the other places with young lads with very little or no experience including a younger goalie. Do you really think this is the way to go, relying on young kids, even if we got Garner back on loan it would still be a big ask for the kids to get us through the full season and playing the brand of football that most of you want us to play. I think it's impossible, I think we would end up in the same situation as we are today, I don't know what the answer is, maybe you lot with all your ideas can come up with something, I just se us in the proverbial shi#.

1.) 29 Mar 2021 17:52:53
What are we supposed to say it's truth the league table doesn't lie. The owner as cocked it right up, so has the DOF, the chairman (when he decides to appear) and the manager. The tactics are crap and mono . The team selection are decidedly questionable at best. The tactics are park the bus and sod having a ho at it. Yes we want the manager out cause we want entertainment. Regards the players get rid of all of them except Worrell, Mighton in the first team squad. Forget loans we want Forest players playing for forest.
What ever we do with the academy players it can't be any worse than this season or even the past 22 years 🎈.

2.) 29 Mar 2021 17:54:12
Absolutely spot on, what else can you say, do we sit down and start again?

3.) 29 Mar 2021 18:10:05
I see 3 welsh players have been dropped through breaching protocols. D#ck heads.

4.) 29 Mar 2021 18:13:59
No choice redman . We're in a right mess 🎈.

5.) 29 Mar 2021 18:16:12
If the club kept it's best experienced players played some academy players, and brought in some youngish players then at least we could see the club has a plan and building for the future, if the club got those players trying to play entertaining football we would know they care that their fans deserve entertainment. Will happen though.

6.) 29 Mar 2021 18:21:42
Gingerkid are you the one from after life?

7.) 29 Mar 2021 18:32:01
Alan Hanson once said something like you can not achieve anything with young players. How did that turn out.?

8.) 29 Mar 2021 18:41:53
Clough built his team around the keeper and striker. i'm personally happy with samba. Striker hmmm hard one. We need a captain in midfield that can help the youngsters and bring the team as one. with experience. Watson brought that. but most of all we need a manager that can move with the times. YES we need older experienced players. No we don't need negative football.

9.) 29 Mar 2021 19:00:29
Dream if the club do what some of us want the team will be in the same position as they are now, not true because the team would be without a ageing squad, and with players that want to give their all, and should only get better.

10.) 29 Mar 2021 20:14:50
Everyone keeps banging on about entertaining football the only time in the last 10 years we had entertaining football and that was under Billy Davies but would you all have him back 😅😅 what we need is a manager that can build a team and not in 3 months lol we also need a owner that will 100 percent back the manager is that going to happen no so we are what we are a poor average championship team.

11.) 29 Mar 2021 20:53:11
Bad Billy is not the only manager out there that tries to give fans entertaining football, you are right that the owner needs to back the managers they bring in, you are right entertaining football can not be achieved in 3 months. Entertaining football does need someone willing to try and implement it, and it is fair to say that you should expect to see improvement in stages. Progress in stages has not happened be seen yet. We have gone from seeing the forwards getting minimal chances and getting a high percentage of them to the forwards getting minimal chances and looking as if they can not see the net.

12.) 29 Mar 2021 21:03:31
Marinakis has been at the helm approximately 4 years.
Each year follows a pattern.
A new manager, players etc.
He is over reliant on aides who have no clue about English Football or the Championship yet he retains their services?
Forest have had manager's with experience and promotion yet we remain where we are and the table doesn't lie.
So dream most posters on here hit the agree with what is blatantly obvious.!

13.) 29 Mar 2021 21:10:19
Mull I have no problem with bringing some young lads in, none at all, what I was trying to get at was bringing in all the youngsters that someone posted just can’t work, that would more than likely mean a fight against religion, bringing some new faces especially other young unproven players in is a gamble and an expensive one. And a lot on the site, of witch I've been one want marinakis out yet still expect him to provide big bucks, . getting rid of CH would cost as well, also trying to get Garner back won’t come cheap . that’s why I can’t see major change happening at the end of the season, do to the cost . Surely a slow change over the nexts two seasons is the better way, even if that means keeping the likes of samba, ribero, Cafu figs smith etc.

14.) 29 Mar 2021 21:24:59
I don't think you can call Marankis for his financial backing, he's always let managers bring new players in. He delegates his background team to do their jobs, which the head of recruitment certainly hasn't!

15.) 29 Mar 2021 22:08:50
He has not let managers bring in new players, he has been annoyed at the failure to get what he wanted, he then gave the managers players most often by mass, not by what is needed. I would say a maximum of 20% of the players brought in have been the managers choice. How many of the players have not been on a free, loan, from Oylmpicas, or on the cheap, not many i would say, so the owner has not really backed managers.

16.) 29 Mar 2021 22:44:02
Never said the players brought in are the managers choice, they have been brought in by the people marankis employs as recruitment. He still stumps up the money for fees, wages and agents. Am sure he didn't say, right I'm going to swamp the squad with another dozen players pre season, he just backed someone else's recommendations. Personally I wish he hadn't sanctioned them.

17.) 30 Mar 2021 13:37:58
Wasted money on useless crap obtained by his aides!
Forest dance to the tune of the fat greek or else you get vilified.

26 Mar 2021 12:41:47
Going back to the posters saying C H having favourites, my question was, how do you know? , I don't know that he hasn't, so all of you can't know that he has, there could well be good reasons why C H does what he does, why they let the young lad go out on loan, I don't know, looked the best of the lot to me. So if ribero HAD asked about the possibility of moving and wasn't in the right frame of mind to play, what's left, exactly his so called favourite or Blackett. move to midfield, suppose your all calling Cafu a favourite just because he's keeping out the so-called one of our own namely yeates, he's got to be the one that your all up in arms about because sow and colback are always injured, Cafu far better, at the moment. Now to the forwards, grabbon, only reason he stayed at the club last season because he was offered the captain's job, but not by C H and he's clearly not interested, Taylor took his place did ok but nothing more. Then we move on to another favourite in Murray, sighed because no one else wanted to come, gets his game because he does the job C H wants him to do, ie hold the ball up and try to bring others into play, which he does better than the other two, FAVOURITES, load of cobblers.

1.) 26 Mar 2021 13:09:00

How do you explain the selection of Bong as soon as CH arrived? How about the continued selection of Murray despite a long run of goalless games? The signing of the ball greedy Knockaert who has flattered to deceive. Continued game time for him when he has done, in reality, very little? He made Cafu a permanent signing- honestly the bloke is dross. But his name always appears on the team sheet.
This is a crucial period for our club and I’m honestly not sure CH is upto the job. I hope I’m wrong.

2.) 26 Mar 2021 16:11:18
You just have to watch the games mate.

3.) 26 Mar 2021 17:02:55
Told you why your all moaning about Cafu, and most of you can't deny it, yeates, and if your telling me that him and the other so called midfielders are better than Cafu, then you make out that you know more about football than you actually do, and if he’s dross, god knows what the others are. If you read my posts properly I gave you all the reasons for C H playing the others, don’t get me wrong, I, wouldn’t play Bong in the third team Blackett neither but who could he play, as for knochaert we are paying his large wages, he’s certainly no worse than the other wingers so he playes , and someone asked do we sign him NO, no thanks

Part of my squad for next year
Samba. An other
Christie At the right price Gabriel or An other
McKenna, Worrell, Sow um ba
The foreign lad that's out on loan. Or
An other
Garner on loan if poss
Brendan Johnson
Krovinovic at the right money
An other
Mighton if he performs till the end of season
An other
Murray if he wants to stay
Yeates one more year

Get rid of the rest
Needed two youngish strikers. , midfielder, two young wingers if mighton don’t come good.
Won’t happen though another year of mediocrity.

4.) 26 Mar 2021 17:52:58
Its yates, and the difference between him and cafu. One plays for the club with heart. The other plays when he fancies it.

5.) 26 Mar 2021 18:48:31
Yer one plays with his hart but just ain't good enough, been on the same training ground as Colback for to long as well, can’t play the ball forwards, At least Cafu looks forward and try’s to play the ball forward .

6.) 26 Mar 2021 19:49:37
Yates gets stuck in. Breaks up play. don't get me wrong a lot of reds on here bring him up to bring him down. Me and 2star had this discussion a while ago. he's not the best footballer. But if he's sent out there he will try 100% and as a fan that's what i need to see again. Heart and wearing the shirt with pride. Not turning up for wages.

7.) 26 Mar 2021 21:27:11
Don't all managers have players they have worked with before that they know how to get a tune out of?

8.) 27 Mar 2021 06:17:21
But Hughton is not getting a tune though, is he Redmarsh.

9.) 27 Mar 2021 12:27:57
Cafu is absolutely NOT dross. He is a decent(not perfect) performer who is improving.

10.) 28 Mar 2021 20:23:50
Wonkey tree i'd say he's getting more of a tune out of Murray and knockheart than he is lolley ameobi or grabban.

Red hot, don’t think it’s what CH expects of Murray, the problem is that you are expecting to much from him, no other strikers wanted to come, he did and as a 37 year old has shown grabbon and Taylor how to play as a centre forward role.

Come on lads give Murray a chance, he’s obviously come here to help the club and CH out if he can, don’t think he’s hear for the money, everyone gets old, but sometimes you get a good tune from old fiddle, it just might be a bit of good business. Don’t get on his back before he’s even kicked a ball in a Forest shirt.

I agree as well, so long as we get the player that did a great job here at Forest when he was here before and not a unfit player looking for a easy time and another pay day, landsbury of old yes please. U REDS.

Damson were on here have you read that I’ve said that it wasn’t a good point?
Hope your not tying to tell me that the second half of the game was good. Pearson told his team to close us down quicker, and that’s what they did, hence the poor passing, poor second half.

Bowie, its not that long ago that most on here wanted grabbon out the gate, now it seems your happy with him, not being great but putting a shift in. Make up your minds, if you’re happy with him not being great yesterday, then you can't complain about his performances all season because he’s been, not great, in most of them.
I’m also very happy with an away point, very happy with the first half performance, so were does the moaning come in.

And I’m really not winding you up. This time.

Red frog, how many saves did either keeper have to make throughout the game
Says it all I think, even when on top in the first half, still didn’t create good chances .
