According to john percy forest have lost appeal regarding Grosiki.

1.) 29 Oct 2020 12:11:43
Not fussed he didn’t want to join us in the first place, would prefer us to go for Ronan Curtis fromPortsmouth in January a lot better long term prospect.

2.) 29 Oct 2020 14:10:44
Why would he sign if he didn't want to. That is complete nonsense.

I'm glad he hasn't signed as he would be blocking younger players progressing into the first team.

3.) 29 Oct 2020 17:44:48
Ref he could of come here long before but said he was not interested, and then went to West Brom only when he found out that he wasnt in WBA plans did he then consider a deal with us, wether he was haggling for more money or not we won’t find out but I think there are better options out there. Mighten is not quite ready and needs to be loaned out for regular games like Johnson.

Looks like Grabban, after holding talks with the club, is staying at Forest. He is probably carrying an injury hence his dismal form and endeavour. Think he plays injured most days.

rutland red 7

1.) 25 Oct 2020 14:43:13
If you are right about his injury then that shows he should have been dropped a while back.

2.) 25 Oct 2020 16:04:08
I’m hoping with Knockaerts addition Grabbon will come good as will Taylor.

3.) 26 Oct 2020 09:05:33
So Grabban has a hip injury that's why he's been rubbish but how long as he had this injury he has only scored in two games in open play with no assists out of his last 25 games going back to the end of January, In the same period our out of form winger Joe Lolley as scored in four games and assisted in four games, its a stat that shows just how poor Grabban has been for months.

4.) 26 Oct 2020 09:25:44
Sorry Grabban has one assist.

5.) 26 Oct 2020 16:31:01
Shows how short we have been upfront that Grabban started despite his lack of form. And if he has been injured then it is pretty desperate. I hope we can get Grosicki over the line but we may still struggle for goals.

6.) 26 Oct 2020 17:03:50
Why was Walker, then Taylor not given a chance, not so much being short more unwilling to give others a chance to shine.

7.) 29 Oct 2020 10:24:25
Hip injury? Someone with a wooden leg could have scored that sitter the other week! Lol.

Couldnt watch today but happy to take point. From the live txt it seems we had the lions share of of posession and shots. How did grabban and knokaert play? Eas hoping taylor would come on and bag the winner.

rutland red 7

1.) 10 Apr 2021 17:33:47
Very good first half which we should have taken advantage of but with ineffective wingers your chances of scoring are severely limited.

2.) 10 Apr 2021 17:35:00
Grabban didn't really get many chances rutland. Knockaert put some decent crosses in. But the team as a whole worked hard. Even grabban outside the box. Again just couldn't finish.

3.) 10 Apr 2021 18:23:01
Sorry To say it Rutland but in my opinion the two you mentioned were the worst two in the side again today, hope they only have until the end of this season at the club.

4.) 10 Apr 2021 18:51:57
Do you think hitting the post was not a good chance Dream.

5.) 10 Apr 2021 19:19:08
Good point Mull of Kintyre 🤔.

6.) 11 Apr 2021 08:26:31
Grabban was noy that bad but in my opinion knockert was very poor, game the ball away too many times.

05 Apr 2021 18:58:57
A special mention for christie. He has improved game on game. Turning into a fine right back. A poster was right mention cafu as without him we were more threatening moving the ball quicker. the balance in midfield was about perfect today. Thought grabban worked harder today a desreved his goal. Mckenna? Awesome.

rutland red 7

1.) 05 Apr 2021 19:18:02
Think we are just about there. well done lads, everyone playing their part, hope we get to keep Garner for another year, now that would be something. went for a job interview today, the boss said "Can you perform under pressure? "
I replied "No?, but I can do a mean Bohemian Rhapsody! "
😏😏😏.

2.) 05 Apr 2021 19:31:14
Class Rogie😂.

3.) 05 Apr 2021 19:37:52
Hahahaha love it rogie.

4.) 05 Apr 2021 19:42:28
Always there for ya if you need help with under pressure rogie. Little fact. They never were together for that recording.

5.) 05 Apr 2021 19:56:07
I was surprised he recorded two different songs on the same vinyl side as Bing, i think they were not together for that recording either.

6.) 05 Apr 2021 20:34:24
Well that killed the joke. 🤣🤣.

7.) 05 Apr 2021 20:37:27
He was going to take bing on tour with him get forward. But apparently he was always pi##ed haha. (Bing crosby) that is.

8.) 05 Apr 2021 20:42:02
Only if you let Forest.

03 Apr 2021 08:11:43
What a difference lyle taylor made when he came on. Held the ball passed it well and made great runs. Made grabban look the shot has been he is. Cafu was garbage too, sorry to say as at times he looks ok. We did well not concede from the ariel bombardment. Christie and mckenna were top drawer.
That foul on mighten by the corner flag was violent conduct and should have been a red, not even booked, words fail me. Great 3 points, we can breath a little easier.

rutland red 7

1.) 03 Apr 2021 08:44:20
2star thinks Taylor had a double ganger because for him Taylor can not do those things. 🤣.

2.) 03 Apr 2021 10:19:25
If he did them yesterday I’m pleased for him . I’ll be delighted to be proven wrong . I was busy in the garden yesterday so couldn’t watch the game, great win and glad Taylor showed some promise because he hasn’t been good enough at the basics this season so far .

3.) 03 Apr 2021 11:21:14
Lyle Taylor did more in 15 minutes than Grabban has done in the last 5 games but I think CH took Grabban off to save him for Monday's game which will put fear in the QPR centre half's.

4.) 03 Apr 2021 11:49:42
A player that has almost forgotten to score, yeah that will frighten QPR alright, perhaps they will not be able to play because they will have diarrhoea with thinking about Grabban playing.

5.) 03 Apr 2021 12:45:39
I doubt they’ll be quaking in their boots about any of our forward players skegby the reality is none of them have been good enough and will hopefully be replaced in the summer with someone who can find the back of the bet consistently.

6.) 03 Apr 2021 13:09:17
They will have their favourite porridge oats to give them the energy for the game 2star.

7.) 03 Apr 2021 14:34:49
2star how can you say Lyle Taylor hasn't been good enough when he's only started 9 game's and in those 9 games he scored 4 goals, the truth is CH has played Grabban when fit a player who hasn't played well since 2019.

8.) 03 Apr 2021 15:41:52
Taylor at least got 20 mins and if Mighten had managed to cross the ball a foot higher he would have scored! So CH brought him in instead of Murray so that’s also a positive . Yates played well with Garner . No Knockeart No Bong No Kosovic and a positive showing from Blackett . Not convinced by Colback gave a foul away in a critical position at a critical phase of the game. Cafu I agree was out of the game completely and Kosovic would have been my choice to replace him. Interesting to see if he roles the dice for Monday . Surely now McKenna and Worrall will stay together. Christie should be given a contract incidentally he saved a possible goal by putting his body on the line.

9.) 03 Apr 2021 16:05:09
Christie has also been responsible for numerous goals being conceded, he is not worth the wages he is on to be given a contract, yes he has improved lately but overall he is not good enough.

10.) 03 Apr 2021 17:00:21
I don’t rate him skegby he’s had enough game time to show the all round qualities we need from a striker . Starts make no difference to me, game time is game time and good players make an impact whether the start games or not . Having to sign a 37 year old says it all, Taylor’s all round play isn’t good enough in a lone striker team. Maybe that’s just not his game.

31 Mar 2021 09:53:11
Hate these so called international breaks. Its not like its improved our quality at thst level. Saw some points about a sending off and how a llayer nearly had his shirt ripped off his back. Goals get disallowed for someones big toe being offside but a player can shield the ball from going out for a goal kick by anymeans virtually pushing astriker to the ground. I see no reason why any player at any time should be allowed to lay his hands or arms on anyone. Lift your hands above the waist and touch a player, foul, simples. Use your arms for a professional foul and your off, anywhere on the pitch. None of this last man bolox. Why is a glancing tap on the arm by the ball deamed a crime when players use hands in other disgusting ways to massive advantage.

1.) 31 Mar 2021 10:11:16
Rutland have a look at the Czech sending off, sure he lashed out after the corner but only in frustration at Roberts dragging his shirt off so he couldn’t move for the cross, these corner scrimmages are getting ridiculous, perhaps the lad did deserve sending off but only after his team should have been awarded a penalty,

2.) 31 Mar 2021 17:08:49
I will stevie f but its simple keep your arms by your side particularly at set pieces. Put your hands on a player and its a foul end of.

28 Mar 2021 13:52:13
I read with interest munmads post. And me being one of carvalaho's biggest critics i think there is something to be said about this mysterious player. Carvalaho has great vision, ball skills and when in position can hit a ball. His wewkness is his lightness and some times for a creative player his touch can let him down, as does his lack of pace. Having said all that i have seen things in carvalaho that is missing from us at the moment and its that vision and spark that strikers feed off. I always thought Grabban looked better when carvslaho instantly spotted his runs. I have seen carvslaho at away games where his lack of defensive duties have not really cost us but he has been tricky around the box. You cannot deny that carvalaho has talent can anyone utilise this enigma as maybe we are missing a trick?

1.) 28 Mar 2021 14:15:51
The dinosaur had started too, but we had to get rid of him because of the dinosaur football .

2.) 28 Mar 2021 14:23:37
2star must be a dinosaur in charge at Almeria too because he won’t pick him either, by the way mate great result for the mighty Hornchurch yesterday 😂.

3.) 28 Mar 2021 14:47:13
No stevie f he his like every other player forest have loaned out sensational the next Messi or ronaldo 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

4.) 28 Mar 2021 14:48:25

Red cyclist i hear your point re taylor etc. And i totally agree with your sentiments. But let's look closely at why hughton plays certsin players. When he was brought in the club were in freefall. A huge squad where you could hardly see the wood from the trees. Firstly he had to halt the slide, in any fashion. He had to get the confidence back as this slide started around the c.v. time. Hit by continuing injuries another slide emerged after the initial burst of positvity. We learned of discontent and near anarchy in the squad. So in hughtons self defence he had to pick players on trust, not so much ability or past glories it had to be players he could put faith in. Style and flair would maybe sacrificied for a player that would listen and put in a shift. This largely has worked and given us hope of staying in this league. Lyle Taylor aside is a mysyery. Maybe it was his voice against the awful knee that has backfired but it shouldnt. At present i would have him in from the start and mighten too. Their time will come of that i am sure, as soon as survival is acheived. We could try and play like wycombe but a balance has to be struck.

No you were right rhr, cafu is neither a defensive or attacking midfielder. It looks like garner and yates are the more balanced pairing and both push on which really helped us hold the ball further up the field. The 3 across the middle work hard to get the ball too but have enough flair and pace about them. I am delighted that Hughton is very organic in his approach. I have rooted for him from day one and pstience is paying off.

At 5'11 he was so good in the air. Grace under pressure he was so assured in front of goal. But most of all he put smiles on faces. Ron Greenwood was at Burnden park when wortho scored that wonder goal against ipswich. I think it was his 25th of the season. The England squad was announced the next day. Frank wasnt in it. Says much about the hierarchy that spurned cloughie.
