I honestly think there should be a gentleman's agreement for tomorrow's game. Both sides should take the p***, play walking football, make it go to pens, and purposely miss them all until it's the keeper's turn, then they face each other. Of Argentina's starting 11, only 1 (Paraedes) plays in Argentina, plus 2 subs (Otomendi and Montiel).

Brazil have the most players playing in foreign leagues by far.

In answer to DTP's assertion that "half" the Argentine team play in the Premier League, in fact the starting 11 contained 4, including Martinez the goalkeeper (who, by definition, won't have run many miles).


Crucially, exactly none of the game changing 5 subs of Argentina's play in the Premier League.

Of England's starting 11, only 2 play outside the Premier League (Kane and Bellingham).
Of the 5 English subs, only Rashford and Toney play outside the Premier League.

DTP, as I've remarked before, mate, you need to tighten up on the detail, mate. You would never make a detective. 🕵️ 😂😂😂

Took me two minutes on Google as a refresher, mate. You should check the facts before you rush into print.
To be fair, I agreed with most of your analysis.
After Gordon scored, bring on Saka and Rashford for Kane: fresh legs, counter-attacking pace, and the ability to buy fouls to break up play, cause frustration, and give the defence a break.

They'd have lost discipline and had players sent off.
Tuchel got most things right up to this match, when he got it completely wrong. As somebody on here said, there's no glory in reaching a semi-final, but there's certainly more than being knocked out in the group, last 32, last 16, or last 8. Ask any Scot, German, Mexican, or Dutchman.
