Couldn't see it at the game but saw it on MOTD later that Muñoz wasn't close enough to Madueke and should have closed him down far more quickly. Shocking defending. Muñoz had a really poor game, offered nothing in attack and should be dropped. However he won't be as he's one of Glasner's favourites.

DTP, one should never say never. Marinakis is as unpredictable as a rattlesnake. If OG does not secure a win in the next three games, I am confident he will receive his severance package, regardless of whether that decision is correct.
I would prefer to avoid frequent changes in personnel, but Glasner should be less rigid and vary his tactical approach.

Forest 8 corners,14 shots 2 on target
Arsenal 6 corners,9 shots,1 on target despite 73 % possession
I'm afraid this is nothing new,even with anderson and ever since we gained promotion,not one player has been capable of taking a set piece.

Yesterday the two attempts outside the area where taken by williams and mcatee,both woefull and what is expected from them
Corners williams and mcatee took them all and again floated useless balls into the area for rayna to collect
This is an area that has to be addressed or we will continue to not score.

For what it's worth, in pre season Schlager was taking the set piece kicks? He was better than Williams etc.

Perhaps take a leaf out of Rugby Union. Schlager adds nothing to height in the penalty area ? In Rugby, the shortest stockiest player, the hooker usually, is the specialist line out thrower.
Intensive set piece training for him? You only need one, like Douglas Luiz for Villa?

I wonder what happened to VPs set piece coach? His routines nicked us several goals I remember and was always acknowledged by the manager when they came off.

I know it's a cliché, but we ain't getting any luck, Palace play a second string goalie and he plays a blinder, we kept arsenal subdued for 89 minute without a shot on goal only for a deflected shot bearing Sels, and if Murillo's bit of magic had worked, it would have been up there with one of the best goals scored at the City Ground, if only.

Glasner will stay. It was many matches before CP won when he was there. The same for a German side where he also won a European cup. Since BC we have won Zilch. The only manager who had won something before was SC and are temporary Australian.

The Leeds match was not good but vs Spurs, Coventry and CP and now Arsenal luck was not with us. The tide will turn in our favour you will all see. To ditch OG is sheer lunacy.

Who was far better in his 9 minutes or so,than him.
Netz,or Aina,not getting a sniff either.
His press conferences have me nodding off.

I for one was shocked and sad that VP got the bullet, he had the team playing as a team, scoring goals for fun and enjoying it on the pitch. In comes OG, who I thought might do a job for us, but not my choice.

I'm sick of watching OGs tactics now, his team selection and his general demeanour on camera. He is NOT a Forest coach, it is NOT Forest football we are watching. This is dross to be honest.

Forget about the success he had at Palace, that is history now. He IS going to get Forest relegated this season, because if Mr M doesn't act NOW, we will lose our best players in January!

I would certainly welcome VP backhowever, it is highly unlikely that Mr. M would consider this proposal. I observed that Amorim exhibited stubbornness at Manchester United as does OG, utilising the same tactics, making poor substitutions, and consistently playing the same individuals, such as Ndoye.

Reading through the posts this evening, I find it great that as loyal fans most of us have very different points of view about our club's current situation and how we got here. That's the essence of this site and why I love being part of it.

I don't want Big M to walk away from our club. I appreciate all of the money that he has thrown at Forest to try to make us great again - albeit, frankly, for his own ego as per most owners of football clubs nowadays.

However, there's an old saying - 'A fool and his money are soon parted'. Of course Mr M is not a fool in the running of his worldwide shipping empire, but I think he is a fool at running Forest. I don't know the figures, but the money he has wasted through his own erratic and illogical behaviour during his tenure at Forest must be eye-watering. He has also been personally responsible for bringing our great club's reputation down into the gutter at times.

I'm not sure what the best way forward is Reds. All I know is that the current situation at Forest looks bleak at the moment.

Accepting mediocrity is not the solution. Regarding Forest, there is a significant distinction between making a genuine effort and replacing coaches with excessive frequency. Despite Mr. Marinakis's considerable wealth, he must recognise that success cannot simply be purchased. His impatience and desire for immediate results are the primary reasons for the club's current situation.
A leopard never changes its spots, and Mr. M will remain unchanged.
