I wonder if for one second M gave any thoughts to the Forest fans when he pulled the trigger or was it totally about his Ego and Edu having his ear?
Not much thought put into the sacking or the replacement IMO.
I, m sure 99% of Forest fans would not have made the same decisions.

Agree3 Disagree0

08 Oct 2025 16:40:29
He was blinded by his massive ego.

08 Oct 2025 17:07:51
He thought of nobody but himself Carlo. His money his club. Suck it up or do one is the philosophy nowadays mate. Crowd attendance and season ticket money don't even cover MGW's wages and £90 a day fines when he gets his daily parking ticket outside the local coffee shop. Arrogance of the highest order. From the top down they don't give a toss about fans these days mate.

08 Oct 2025 17:15:01
It's about time a statement was made, one way or another, how this is panning out, really shows how incompetent it is behind the scenes, and the supporters matter not!.

08 Oct 2025 17:26:21
Definitely his ego and the devil on his shoulder edu encouraging him.
Greed has the better of Marinakis unfortunately.
His wealth has tainted his judgement on wanting things yesterday.
Live in the fast too long and you will have an accident!

08 Oct 2025 17:29:16
So your going at the owner, after all he's done? Can't you see how weak they are now. Do you actually think the greek gives out for a laugh. 99% i think not. Myself, I'd crawl into the owners corner. because let's face it, that's what we're doing, trying to crawl under the barbed wire of fair play, players playing sh1te, coach/ manager clueless. Refs/ var etc etc etc. BUT young man. Each and every other, apart from usual six go through the same motions. Get your head outta your arses the lot of ya. We are in the sh1t full stop. For me, cannot see light as I've said a while ago. Am I happy. Am I fck. Will I get on with it. Yup. Until the next cooper/ nuno comes along. FTID.

08 Oct 2025 18:11:16
I think you need to go back to the end of last to where their relationship started failing, really poor return for the last 5 or so games and we should have cruised to Champs League footy.

I'm with you Bowie, we had shite football for years and his money probably saved us from another session of League 1 football, I am really grateful for what he's done thus far.

I'm not saying he can act with impunity but he has certainly put his money where his mouth is and backed the club.
Hopefully by the end of the season this will be long forgotten and just a distant memory:)

08 Oct 2025 18:54:22
?
Found it, the self destruct button.

08 Oct 2025 19:50:10
We should of cruised into champions league ??? could you imagine any football fan across the world saying that about forest at start of last season. With the squad of players we had nuno bought them together made us hard to beat we took 4 points off Liverpool we won at places we had not won at for decades the players got tired towards end of season injuries as well we made Europe still and you talk about distant memories ginger sometimes I can't believe I'm a forest fan listening to others I hope ange stays it would be a laugh edu will take us to league 1 and bankruptcy at least the kids this season get to have memories in Europe thanks to a nuno masterclass last season that will probably be decades to see again before we come back if edu has been sacked.

08 Oct 2025 22:08:08
Read posts properly, no one is talking about from the start of last season, with 5 games to go and the position we were in, we should have cruised to Champs League. Distance memories as in hopefully our current plight would be a distant memory.

If there are any big words I used, let me know and I'll try and explain those to you as well.

Maybe a quick adjustment is in order as the mask has started to slip again already:)

09 Oct 2025 05:07:38
Unfortunately Marinakis has to take some of the blame despite all the he's done Bowie.

09 Oct 2025 09:53:18
All of you lot complaining about a guy who has invested half a billion pounds in the team and given us hope and success. Or course he has an ego, you don't get to where you are without one. Such short sighted garbage i read here sometimes. We should all be on our hands and knees kissing this man's shoes.

09 Oct 2025 12:11:05
Never heard of irony?
Build something that was going OK and then suddenly destroy it with little or no thought.
The fans are the consistent part of a club everyone else comes and goes so they are very entitled to an opinion and not just be expected to suck it up.

08 Oct 2025 15:14:58
Just got home after my hols and caught up on the football action.
For what it's worth, Newcastle's first goal shouldn't have been allowed. MGW was fairly tackled on the ball but the two handed shove over by the eventual scorer was a foul in that it prevented him from competing to get the ball back. Probable yellow card as well.
By that point Newcastle could have been 3 or 4 up but for Sels and poor finishing so it's largely irrelevant as we were completely dominated everywhere on the pitch apart from some dogged defending especially first half.
Incidentally both goals were the result of trying to play out from the back which is an Ange innovation. It was a Nono under Nuno. Under him we counter attacked with pace and aggression with fast wingers and a centre forward who converted, sprung from MGW. Now we are disjointed and trying tactically to change horses in mid river.
Never going to work and doesn't suit us, never has historically either.

08 Oct 2025 16:23:48
Welcome back from Hols and Site, your assessment of Newcastle game quite correct, if Postecoglou is staying, should the senior players have a word about tactics, and what's achievable?, like Dyche he's a stubborn sod, if he thinks, he's right.

08 Oct 2025 16:42:01
It's a contact sport. No foul anywhere in the first goal.

08 Oct 2025 16:53:33
Even Peps reverted to a more direct style now, probably to do with their current keepers can't use their feet but not the point. Fulham are notorious for playing out and look where that got them against Bournemouth.
Always said a keeper should just lump it forward. ?.

08 Oct 2025 17:12:14
And for what it's worth Stokey we are in a right mess. We wouldn't have scored at Newcastle if we was still playing now mate. High press entertaining football ?? One shot on target straight into the keepers hands. Absolute horror show, unwatchable.

08 Oct 2025 18:30:39
It was definitely a painful catch up watch on Forest TV Larry. I agree with you. Likewise the defensive shambles against the Danes mate.

08 Oct 2025 20:40:30
It is a contact sport Ravers but that doesn’t extend to being shoved over by a barge with both hands to your opponent’s chest. Having said that, I’ve been playing and following football for 59 years and I no longer know what constitutes a foul mate…….

08 Oct 2025 13:26:40
Sean Dyche not interested in the Rangers job I hope it's because he's coming to Forest

Watches Forest lives in Nottingham available straight away good record in the Premier League with small budgets knows the game inside out

He would love to inherit this squad and would do a great job forget Dycheball with these players he would relish the challenge 19 years at Burnley he's a solid manager.

Agree2 Disagree0

08 Oct 2025 15:50:02
If he replaces Postecoglou Mr. M will be looking for a long term coach not another 18 month job.

08 Oct 2025 16:22:41
Like the contract he gave Nuno, 3 years.

08 Oct 2025 16:43:02
Dyche will probably get sacked at the next international break.

08 Oct 2025 17:13:53
For God's sake. Dyche. let it go
Marinakas might be a nut job but he ain't that stupid. The guys a car crash.

08 Oct 2025 17:27:11
So is Ange!

08 Oct 2025 20:34:35
I disagree with you for the first time Larry. I think Dyche is a top-class manager who has, in the past, galvanised and motivated lesser-players than we have to achieve results.

I'd love him at Forest. Everything seems to fit with him being our manager.

09 Oct 2025 10:01:53
I couldn't want a manager less than Sean Dyche. Uninspiring football and can barely understand a word he ever says. I've seen more inspiration in my toilet bowl.

08 Oct 2025 09:55:40
This time last year it was great being a Forest Fan but then in Nov. Edu arrived.

Big welcome back to Tom Lockyer, the Luton Town skipper who collapsed in a Premier League game. 2 years out of the game, but cleared to play again!

I've got a great idea for the Ladeeez.
Altitude training in Amsterdam!
No awful hills to run up either!
Some nice Windmills to visit too!
Make them run through some Tulips.
(Well at least it's not nettles like Sir Brian did! )
????.

08 Oct 2025 13:32:27
Yes Red Tree. great news!

07 Oct 2025 17:07:54
Question for the lot of ya, I always got shot down from dtp/ 79 for it. I never hide the greed in premier football. Now if they were putting on a show, or even showing heart for the badge, tackles etc. Working hard on set pieces. please plz. i want each and everyone of ya to give me players, worth their money, giving to the cause. Ok I will kick it off.
Sels, we couldn't get better believe me. On nectar points left.
Williams runs all day wanting best.
Aina (when fit)
Milenkovic, not the quickest but can see he tries. and need his height.
Murrilo, natural born centre back.
Anderson, for me looks tired
Erm. Forget the rest tbh, well ish.
As the ball doesn't go that far.
Forward line joke.
Again do you lot think we'd do much better under this coach? Not for me reds. Not a free kick/ scorer among em. Remember you only need 1 goal to win a lot of Premier games. Don't, please please don't say give em more time. These efwits are paid more than some countries own. Fir what taken the p1ss outta delusional greek. Just sad reds FTID.

Agree5 Disagree1

07 Oct 2025 17:18:56
All of the above mate and I'd add Ndoye and Wood to the list, 20 goals for 15mil and Ndoye is growing into games now.
Under Ange we're playing some better and exciting football but its almost like we have forgotten how to defend completely. Granted Aina missing and Murillo not 100% but suicide football isn't for me.
I'd love to see Dyche in until at least until the end of the season, said the other day he's never had a squad with this much talent and remember he got Burnley up to 7th a few years back.
Not sure if Ange will survive the international break or not but i really hope he doesn't for the good of the fans, players and Big Mr M's cardio health. ???.

07 Oct 2025 17:50:09
I worked for a company who looked after players under the PFA Badge, so I know a lot about what the players do and don't do! So much money wasted on gambling, cars, women/ men lol The lifestyle is amazing, but a lot of them think once they've hit the big time - well football just gets in the way of spending the money! Poor investments, parties, all add to the demise of talent! I've just seen an article about John Barns, ex Liverpool/ England, a footballer with education - now declared bankrupt!
Money is killing the game chaps and chappettes!

07 Oct 2025 18:13:36
Bolly, very underrated player who always gives his all when on the few occasions he gets a start or off the bench. Don't think I've ever heard him complain.

07 Oct 2025 18:25:23
Well all I can say is a mess. a proper mess exciting attacking football where I thought we done more defensive football against Newcastle than when Dougie weedman was in charge the football as been absolutely dross and is never go to get any better under ange. and if dyche is all we have to look forward to we are getting really desperate. Football club is done for the longer we stick with ange and the biggest culprit edu.

07 Oct 2025 18:38:47
Well said 12 ?vale ? although not really part of the team these days. Laddies got heart and skegs. Yup dross football.

07 Oct 2025 18:53:40
Yates - he was free and IMO is the only Forest player who truly plays for our badge. Unfortunately, as is the case at every other PL club, the rest are mainly just 'hired guns' - who play for any badge until a better offer arrives.

A cynical viewpoint I know, yet realistic I believe.

07 Oct 2025 19:17:39
Can't disagree with that analysis skegsjsy, dyche till the end of the season just to keep us up or potton?. I'm not sure either are right for our club, but if I had to choose it would be potton, now before the Chelsea game. If Ange is still coach then it will be another home defeat, Mr M must understand that the players don't want to do it for him.

07 Oct 2025 19:32:57
Luiz can hit a freekick and takes good corners, real shame he is out of action at the min, hopefully back after the break.

07 Oct 2025 20:38:44
Can he defend them ginger that's our biggest problem that wasn't a problem last season.

07 Oct 2025 23:07:34
Last season we used Yates more to defend the box and attack the opposition box. He's not been used this season hardly at all.

07 Oct 2025 16:17:12
To hear that Ange as got two weeks to sort the problem out seems inaccurate, hardly any of the squad are there at the moment, nearly all away on international duty.
Not a lot to work with at to work with at present.

Agree4 Disagree1

07 Oct 2025 14:05:10
Appoint Sean Dyche till the end of the season then review

Sean will secure the defence stop the leakage from set pieces and play 4-3-3 keeping things nice and simple

Sels

Savona
Milenkovic
Murrilo
Williams

Luis
Anderson
McAtee

Bakwa
Jesus
Hutchinson.

07 Oct 2025 18:27:19
Starting from Postecoglou still has the job?, I cannot see Edu or Arthur Daley convincing Marinakis to employ Dyche!. Instead of trying to put a sticking plaster on till the end of season, Marinakis could show some intent, and go for Edin Terzic, a young progressive coach who wants to get back into the game, and is being looked at by Strasbourg.

07 Oct 2025 18:47:22
Munmad, just interested, have you got a team and formation for solving World Peace, give it abash for us.

You could get the Nobel Peace Prize before Trump!

Dyche is perfect for a relegation scrap and for parachuting in for that, but I don't think we are quite there yet.

Lets just get Marco Silva in, think he would be perfect for us.

Heard Ange is going, now just a matter of time till the replacement is appointed.

08 Oct 2025 02:36:04
Everton's 2024/ 25 season Dyche: 3 wins out of 19 games.
Moyes: 8 wins out of 20 games with the same players, Everton was going one way if they kept Dyche!.

07 Oct 2025 11:13:19
Its official: Ange will be gone

Taking charge of team selection will be Munmad. (just for those who find it boring)

Pre game and half time talks with be given by Friday night Bowie. (vodka and orange juice refreshments)

Training ground daily fitness drills will be handed over to Lego. (hearing Mr M has given him a bullwip)

New head of recruitment and general press releases go to Cyclist. (shared duties with this site)

Yeah three more roles being confirmed.

Full control of the ladies team being handed to Rogie. (although no role specifically stated just we're giving him"the ladies")

Toilet command, bog seat repairs and Bingo caller goes to Skegs (you know you love it)

And a new role has been filled:Master of espionage and opposition anti moral officer goes to Ballons. (club are supplying him drones so he can still put the washing out)

???.

07 Oct 2025 16:27:54
How did ya get on with drinks etc around the toon winter? Ps now I've had a helping hand in bring8ng stokey back. Means we get get dad jokes to lift our spirits ??.

07 Oct 2025 17:07:18
Honestly mate it was really enjoyable, had a couple of drinks and a burger in bar52/ Th_nk or whatever its called pre match. We had tickets in the east stand, supposedly the neutral area (wearing a navy England rugby shirt) which was full of geordies, so i was quite most of the game lol. But all in all result not included a good day out. Do love drink and food prices in the north east. If this was down my way or in London i would have needed a second mortgage. ?.

07 Oct 2025 17:10:31
And of course the people are great up here mate, everyone was welcoming even after my neighbour kept telling them that i am a red??.

07 Oct 2025 17:56:42
Bless ya winter, glad you enjoyed bud ?.

07 Oct 2025 18:51:40
Rogie?.

07 Oct 2025 19:26:46
I like the sound of that job description Winter!

True story about the one and only time I visited Newcastle. I suppose this must have been about 20 years ago. I'd been at a sales meeting all day there and 5/ 6 of us at the meeting ended up getting out on the lash by the riverside. It was a superb night and I found all the locals very friendly and welcoming.

Towards the end of the evening we were at our final bar and I felt a tap on my lower back. I turned around and, in that split-second, I thought noone was there. I then looked down to see a 'little lady' stood there. She must have stood at the height of my belly button.

She was brilliant and we got on like a house on fire. After 10 minutes of chatting however, in my tipsy state I started to have 'Alan Partidge thoughts' flashing into my head. I couldn't stop thinking about a stand-up b*** job from her!

I think that she sensed this and the last thing I remember from my only night out in Newcastle is that 'little lady' saying to me "you're drunk - I'm going home".

07 Oct 2025 19:55:59
Tiny toon lego??.

07 Oct 2025 10:40:00
Dunno but if we actually want Dyche we'd better move quickly, Rangers sniffing around him now. ?.

07 Oct 2025 10:47:18
The BBC had a real time HYS yesterday, commenting on Postecoglous position at the City Ground, they must have more than a hint something was a foot?.

07 Oct 2025 10:58:00
Mossy i saw and read some of that, to be honest a lot of it was rubbish but i thought the same about something being a foot. Constantly checking my news feeds now for any updates with fingers crossed. ?.

07 Oct 2025 11:13:31
RedRobinHood, the reporters Manchester bias seems like they love to stir it up at other clubs!, Postecoglou got it at Spurs big time about his position before they met man Utd in the final.

07 Oct 2025 11:51:25
Yep its definitely distasteful, literally egging on supporters by non stop posting of stats etc. Most of it is complete rubbish and to think we all pay for the bias, inaccurate and general cr?p their journalists write. ?.

07 Oct 2025 16:12:46
Potter is en route and it ain't Harry but whoever comes will need a magic wand regardless.
????.

07 Oct 2025 17:21:48
Ripley where are you getting that from? He's about the only out of work coach I've not seen linked thank ?. ?.

07 Oct 2025 21:33:48
Talksport and a couple news outlets.
Not sure what he could other than get his brother Harry to conjure up a spell! ??.
