Anyone watching NI vs WG. Ethan Galbraith ( Swansea out of contract in June ) and Dan Ballard ( Sunderland ). Both UK and would suit Forest.

Got to give them credit again tonight, although losing superb heart and graft shown. ?.

Apart from murillo not being LB I'd agree mate ?.

13 Oct 2025 21:09:12
Surely MGW must start ahead of McAtee.

14 Oct 2025 09:04:33
Why he’s been awful this season simple as.

14 Oct 2025 10:59:16
We should of took the 60 million for him. his hearts not in it anymore at forest and come end of season I can only see that figure going down I'd bench him personally.

14 Oct 2025 13:46:38
Curley Skegsjay we agree on something ?.

13 Oct 2025 10:55:21
We are Forest diehards on here and I for one am not revelling in the current situation but I like most fans are appalled at the mess being made after at last Forest starting to gain real respect again, why would anyone through sheer ego want to undo all the progress in one fell swoop.
Anyone who is happy with things that’s your prerogative, to keep telling others be happy with what you’ve got is not.

Cryptic, i like it. Just say my name lol, i'm not going to throw a wobbler and withdraw from the site with my tail between my legs like some here.
Its not the opinions that get on my goat as the more diverse and varied they are make for good reading. Its the constant posting the same crap daily. Yes we all want the situation sorted out, yes we all want the best for the club. But i don't think Mr M gets the credit he deserves and definitely doesn't need to have his character assassinated on a daily basis.

Just saying.

P. S Carlo if you to take your frustration out on someone please pick me, because i find you funny. ??.

13 Oct 2025 12:09:54
?? "It's sad, so sad
It's a sad, sad situation
And it's gettin' more and more absurd
It's sad, so sad
Why can't we talk it over?
Ohh, it seems to me
That sorry seems to be the hardest word" ???.

13 Oct 2025 12:18:25
Here! Here!

13 Oct 2025 13:10:51
Edu in, Nuno out, Wilson out, AP in, yes I accept full responsibility.

13 Oct 2025 17:37:01
"In out! In out!. shake it all about! "
????.

13 Oct 2025 18:29:14
Lol Rogie you beat me to it ???.

13 Oct 2025 21:00:52
"Thats what it's all about" mate!
????.

15 Oct 2025 13:28:17
I think being annoyed at the situation we are in is completely justified and frustrating, we should be enjoying this season but instead it's some highschool reality show. However, the same ego and passion that got us to where we are also has another side to it. Bless MR M for getting us here and as long as he keeps that same passion and ambition no matter what, it's better than anything else you could hope for.

13 Oct 2025 05:03:15
Edu in Nuno out. Wilson out now Dyche in? What an absolute mess, and amongst all that a crock of a manager who has lost 30 of his last 45 Premier League games.

“It is who we are mate. “.

Agree1 Disagree0

13 Oct 2025 11:34:03
Time to think about beating Chelsea comfortably on Saturday breakfast! Can't think about another loss because we know what the vibe would be! Take a risk on Hutchinson-stick him in against his old club. Sometimes happens. doesn't it?

PS Had we beaten Chelsea last time we would have been in the Champions league! Phew! Picture it now folks!

14 Oct 2025 09:08:43
I don't think 99 minutes against Chelsea will define our season again, but it's getting damm close!, a win against Chelsea would be so beneficial to try and get some momentum and team and supporters moral again.

14 Oct 2025 10:53:05
I hate to say this Mossy and Norfolk but I can't see us getting anything in our next 3 games. It’s the definition of madness to keep using the same tactics, players and methods yet expect a different result my friends.
Ange out, Dyche in gives us a much better chance of accumulating points and steadying the ship imo.

14 Oct 2025 13:48:39
Stokey, Postecoglou has only the bare squad over the break to work with, should I think start getting players back Wednesday, Thursday, Friday to doe any work with the players, not much really, agree the games coming up are difficult even our jink team Bournemouth amongst them, just hope the team can at least get something!.
Can't see Marinakis setting on another coach, who if wasn't sacked by Everton would have been in a relagation battle, also can't see Dyche excepting a contract till the end of the season.

14 Oct 2025 14:58:23
Ange might be the sort of coach to pull off a surprise win! However are Forest the sort of team to pull off a surprise win as things stand?
We'll know in the first five minutes of the match! I'm still going for Hutchinson.

Glasgow Rangers Missed The Moment With Steven Gerrard

{Ed's Note - WhyAreYouSoGoodBrian has posted a new article entitled, Glasgow Rangers Missed The Moment With Steven Gerrard

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Oct 2025 22:44:56
One saving grace is, after spending all that money on mainly attackers, I can't see Marinakis being talked into going for Dyche?, it would be like he brought a Rolls Royce with all the extras, then employing Mr Magoo as his chauffeur.

Agree2 Disagree0

12 Oct 2025 23:01:40
Bring back Billy Davies ?.

13 Oct 2025 07:27:19
The goals are hardly flying in though are they? It’s a horrible watch and now any team knows they are guaranteed to score a set piece against us. We thought we’d brought a Rolls Royce but it seems we haven’t. It’s likely the players are ok and may do better under a different coach but this guy is taking us to the abyss.

13 Oct 2025 09:12:34
Skegsjay when Billy Davies was sacked he had at least 11 injuries but the owner just did'nt seem to appreciate that, Its a bit late now for Billy but Sean Dyche is the nearest to it. Some people say that he is too defensive but did'nt the great Brian Clough advocate star building from the back and stop conceding goals. However having a ready made squad of players its a different ball game and I would think Dyche would be in his seventh heaven.
We have the players just get the system right!

13 Oct 2025 09:37:50
Humorist I thought. The idea and objective was to bring a attacking manager in because that's the style of play Mr m or edu wanted. so like I say we're going backwards I would rather bring cooper back than dyche.

13 Oct 2025 10:53:16
Get Stuart Pearce in as caretaker and stick a rocket up the backside of these players!

13 Oct 2025 17:04:29
Now, there's an idea Cyclist!

14 Oct 2025 14:14:55
Lessons from history comrades…. talking about Rolls Royce managers. Sometimes, in an emergency, you need a simpler, less glamorous alternative, with no frills but keeps going and gets you where you need to be, a Dyche mobile perhaps.
In WW2 the superbly engineered Tiger tank was easily the best of all the armies. Equivalent to any 3 or 4 opponents, better armoured, quicker, more powerful armament. Unfortunately, on the Russian front, a certain Mr Mikhail Koshkin designed the T 34. Easy to build and maintain but solid, no frills. Uncomfortable for the crews, noisy but dependable. I should know I’ve been in one. But you could change a track in 30 minutes and replace a worn out gun barrel in a day. Just outnumbered the Tigers and overwhelmed them in the end.
Likewise, the business like Roman sword. Short stabbing, kill and move on. None of this fancy sword play nonsense…… Do you see what I’m getting at?

14 Oct 2025 19:25:22
Yes stokey we should of stuck with nuno ??.

16 Oct 2025 07:21:00
No point having a Rolls Royce if it doesn't have any wheels on it.

The farce going on at the club could lead to all the better players wanting to move on in January leaving us with a basic team that would be suitable for the likes of Dyche and co.

12 Oct 2025 22:23:28
If Dyche is employed, the January transfer window MGW, CHO, Murillo out, Tarkowski, Keane and O'Neill in, Dyche does like players he knows.

Agree1 Disagree0

13 Oct 2025 07:28:36
Sound by me as long as we stop conceding goals and makes us compete that’s good enough.

12 Oct 2025 19:45:00
Ed, what about a poll?

AP stay or go
If go - Benitez or Dyche.

{Ed033's Note -

Manager poll

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Oct 2025 21:33:10
It's a bit late now Ed but maybe we should of put in the poll should we tried to of kept nuno who got us European football - just saying.

12 Oct 2025 21:50:44
Thanks Ed.

{Ed033's Note - OK thanks.

12 Oct 2025 22:10:03
Should have, neither off the above?.

13 Oct 2025 00:25:45
Please guys don't fooking cheat with this poll. We all know that past polls have been rigged. ?.

13 Oct 2025 07:39:50
Skeg, do we need a poll for that? Even those that won’t concede it and felt Nuno could be bettered will deep down regret thinking it was a good plan. Let’s be honest though Nuno was done when big M stormed the pitch against festa, the lie the club posted as to the reasons was of course a lie.

Forest have a history of this, Doughty (God rest his soul) backing Arthur over King Billy, probably the worst decision on the clubs history bringing in SM

Mcleish for SOD - equally as poor.

This one is right up there though. Great thing is Big M won’t tolerate this for much longer, he’s made a mistake but won’t sit back and do nothing as we incur defeat, after defeat conceding goal after goal after goal.

Currently though, there won’t be a long list of suitors, we will first and foremost need to stop conceding goals = Dyche incoming, wouldn’t be surprised if he’s on a retainer already. He’ll be dying to take the job. This whole scenario is just such a backwards step for the club in so many levels - after so much progress had been made.

13 Oct 2025 08:34:39
It's bad 2 gs. like every forest fan at the start of the season I was really looking forward to this one. a season to remember in decades to come. only to be took away at the start of the season so now we're already looking like a desperate relegation battle side by going in for dyche. so ok if he manages to keep us up what then. surely we wouldn't stick with him because he's not going to progress this club. so the manager merry-go-round will start again. and yes 2gs it started with the rumble in the jungle on the pitch. it was only going to end up one way with nuno going after that. i just hope Mr m has something up his sleeve and doesn't bring in any of the coaches mentioned at the minute. As for ange a lot commented on here b4 about nuno not having a connection with the fans well ange gets more applause off the opposition fans than he does off ours he's pretty much doomed.

12 Oct 2025 12:26:51
I think Ross Wilson’s statement on why he, s joining NU tells you everything that’s going wrong at the CG.
He gives his reasons as Trust Cohesion and Alignment, things so obvious lacking here at present.
He couldn’t have made things clearer.

Agree4 Disagree0

12 Oct 2025 13:37:01
I’m sure those reasons sound familiar to you Carlo? ??‍♂️ ?.

12 Oct 2025 14:16:37
Lol 2tone?? i'm sure that 50% of the posters on here are reveling in our current predicament, talk about doom and gloom. Its depressing scrolling down and reading the negativity. ?.

12 Oct 2025 16:47:31
RedRobinHood, it may be concern for Nottingham Forest rather than negativity. There's plenty of clubs in the 1st and 2nd division's who had owners that had ambitions for there clubs, until it goes pear shaped and the supporters are left to pick up the pieces!.

12 Oct 2025 17:25:52
We're all doomed i tell thee??.

12 Oct 2025 17:36:34
When we're winning people here find reason to moan, when we're losing its just gets ridiculous.

WITHOUT MR M WE WOULD BE BACK IN LEAGUE ONE. yes he's made mistakes but who hasn't?
Just be happy we have an owner who is ambitious and has pumped the best part of a billion into the club since he bought it.
Some of you need to get a fooking grip and be thankful for where we are. ?.

12 Oct 2025 18:30:32
Everyone makes mistakes in life even the best, Mr M is no exception. But he will put it right make no mistake, I believe he will bring in dyche until the end of the season just to steady the boat, then he can get the coach from Fulham who is out of contract next may. he is also going to spend many more millions on the ground, although it's going to take a lot longer now he's scrapped the original plans. let's hope the council doesn't take three years again to give planning. we as supporters can't turn on him after all the man has done for us. as for the coach? That's another thing. But after Chelsea I dare say that will be the last of him. Got to keep the faith, after all we've been in the s. t before.

12 Oct 2025 19:09:23
Agreed RRH!

12 Oct 2025 19:11:24
Are you sure you’re not someone else RRH?

12 Oct 2025 19:58:14
Rrh we was already in the best place we were in for decades. and now because Mr m got involved in a on pitch scuffle with a manager that exceeded beyond anyone's expectations we're back to being forest a laughing stock again. he's got the devil on is shoulder whispering in his ears edu.

that arsenal are now thriving without and now Mr m looks like he knows he's made a mistake and his trying to please the fans by bringing in someone with a past to forest dyche. not many fans like ange so I think he will go but bringing in dyche is desperate beyond belief to where we was at start of season.

12 Oct 2025 21:13:53
I do love your optimism Winter and dislike of the negative posts of which I'm sometimes party to on here! Naturally, I've been the same optimistic character as you mate for the majority of my life. However, probably down to what I've been through, I've become much more pragmatic/ realistic nowadays.

Hope, aspirations and dreams are essential - truthfully, I wouldn't be writing this now without belief in those things. However, I think that sometimes we all need to realise, especially as life-long Forest supporters, a time to accept realism as a driving-factor during a certain moment.

Cue, reality today at Forest. I don't want to sound like a drama queen - but I do think that, as a club, we need to nip this downward spiral in the bud now. We can all see those bad character traits that have held us back in the past re-emerging. As a club, we have worked way too hard to get where we are now to throw it all away.

Big M public apology, Dyche appointment, Edu sacked = the way forward sorted. Yep, I dreaming again.

13 Oct 2025 00:23:48
Good post lego mate, you know Mr M won't apologise though lol. Dyche maybe a possibility and Edu won't be going anywhere.

Carlo i'm Winter and always will be.

Time for everyone to take a deep breath and let the Godfather deal with the situation the best way he feels fit. Pretty sure he didn't become a multi billionaire by making mistakes and not biting his bullets.
?.

13 Oct 2025 07:44:04
That’s right RRH, he’s got to deal with it hasn’t he? I’m sure he will.

13 Oct 2025 10:17:34
And for the record i wouldn't have chosen Dyche, Ange or Raffer. Marco Rose would have been my choice after Nuno pressed the big red self destruction button. ?.

11 Oct 2025 21:23:46
Am I the only one on here who things we are blowing up everything we had that was good.

When will this madness stop? I;ve supported the club for 45 odd years.

Can we have a decent period where there isn't loads of drama.

Sean Dyche? Crikey.

Agree7 Disagree0

11 Oct 2025 21:45:57
No your not mate. this is what being a forest fan is all about from nuno to dyche in a season living the forest dream.

12 Oct 2025 07:58:26
A serious worry is the potential of a Benitez appt. According to Football insider he is the leading. candidate. I am not a fan of AP but surely this is a frying pan into a fire scenario. Sean Dyche would be too outspoken as he would demand Edu’s removal.

12 Oct 2025 08:13:07
I really feel that all the great work that we achieved is going to pot!
We were becoming a team to be feared.
Now it seems we are back where we started under Cooper. only in the Premiership.

11 Oct 2025 20:08:42
Sean Dyche for me never had the players to play any other way at Burnley he lives in Nottingham watches us regularly and would stop us leaking goals at set pieces

Give him a contract till the end is the season and then see where we are but one thing is for sure Ange will take us down imo.

Agree3 Disagree0

11 Oct 2025 21:45:05
Yeah pretty bizarre that we find ourselves believing Sean is our best option but I think he is……. as you say someone has to come in quickly who can stop us leaking goals as it really is ridiculous.

11 Oct 2025 23:08:06
I agree with you both. I think we all need to grab reality by its balls - I think Dyche is the man to save us from relegation. I too never thought that I'd say this - a sad reflection.

12 Oct 2025 00:50:50
Have a look behind the scenes at his coaching staff, then tell me you wouldn't have them back in an instant at the WFCG over what we have now. ?.

12 Oct 2025 00:55:26
Add Reidy and Hennessy to them and its a force I'd definitely get behind?.

12 Oct 2025 02:27:59
If Dyche hadn't got the sack at Everton, they would now have the best stadium in the Championship, Fact.

12 Oct 2025 07:13:18
That’s true, however so is without dyche Goodison would have been a championship ground for the first time in its history - fact.

12 Oct 2025 08:09:25
Very constructive Missy
Sean Dyche Wian and Stone great Forest connections get it done Mr M.

12 Oct 2025 10:17:16
Dyche is a manager you bring in when you are worried about relegation how is that moving forward. we will be a laughing stock if this happens talk about 3 steps backwards if anyone bring benitz or fulham gaffer not like I like him but I think he would well I know he would be better than dyche all else fails get Harry rednapp out of the jungle ??.

12 Oct 2025 11:23:02
Did Dyche ever see the investment in players that Everton have now? ?.

12 Oct 2025 12:28:48
Dyche as a connection with the club so did Pearce so did oniell means nothing the only thing that matters are results and moving forward that's why nuno went surely. and dyche would be a massive move backwards we might as well bring cooper back terrible from hierarchy Mr m sought the club out and get rid of the biggest problem edu.

12 Oct 2025 13:45:36
It's a bit disingenuous to say Everton didn't have good players, Pickford, Braithwaite and Beto, Calvin Lewis being played when not fully fit, O'Brien not being played because Dyche didn't want him!. I can see certain Forest players, who want to progress, if Dyche is appointed will be on to there agents saying "Get me out of here".

12 Oct 2025 14:13:30
Mystic Mossy??.

12 Oct 2025 15:13:38
Dyche is an excellent manager for the predicament we find ourselves in. He’s a lot more than the “ any port in a storm” solution imo. Especially with his Forest connections plus Woan and Stone onboard. His pragmatic style ( like Nuno’s ) would be ideal in retrieving our faltering European campaign.
The only fly in the ointment is that Mr M. ( who has messed up badly and not for the first time) would have to admit he was wrong, not easy for a man like him.
However, he might as well bite the bullet sooner rather vegan later with Chelsea, Porto and Bournemouth coming up. Ange is a dead man walking so the big man might as well put him ( and us) out of his misery.

12 Oct 2025 15:51:00
I'd rather keep him than have dyche. I don't care about is connection's he's never going to take us further. we will never see European football again with him in even if he's bought in to keep us up that's all he's going to be doing season after season in charge.

12 Oct 2025 22:03:46
Don't have to be mystic to see it would end in booing, and supporters leaving the City Ground 15 minutes early!.

11 Oct 2025 12:29:21
No football today?
Nothing can be further from the truth.
Loads of quality non league matches in your area.
Admission, pie and pint for £15 ish and guaranteed entertainment.
I'm off to a match in the Northern Premier league east division.
Emley v Ashington.
If you're going to a local match, enjoy.

Agree7 Disagree0

11 Oct 2025 18:24:34
So did you enjoy the match Gazzi mate?
Yes I did thanks Gazzi.
Very competitive, some great football played and 3 good goals.
Highly recommend non league Gazzi mate.
Cheers Gazzi.

11 Oct 2025 19:12:38
Don't be testy Gaz! I think it's brilliant that you're such a supporter of grass-roots football. I love watching Looe Town FC play btw. I think, if they were to attend, watching these non-league games could also remind the modern-day professionals of the ethos of football and their humble-origins, before their ridiculous salaries kicked-in.

11 Oct 2025 19:38:34
Looks like ange on way out but if we get Dyce I'm going to be a skegness Town fan and watch there football will be better.

11 Oct 2025 20:44:56
I think getting Dyche in on a temporary contract until the end of the season makes total sense Skegs. Our PL survival is surely paramount above any egotistical dreams Big M has of winning European silverware?

I'm no gambler, but I do like playing roulette on my very rare nights out nowadays with copious amounts of alcohol inside me (totally ignoring my GP's orders! ). I can't help but think about a roulette-analogy with our past and present managers at the table:

Nuno would be a 'hedge-better' - solely devoting a fraction of his chips to either red or black. Ange would stupidly put half of his chips on one number in the vain hope of an instant, huge return. No surprise - Nuno doubles his money and Ange loses half of his chips. Ange then copies what Nuno has just done - but can't help himself from betting the remainder of his chips on Red being the current Forest manager. Nuno bets on Black to reflect the way he has been treated by Forest. Lo and behold - Nuno doubles his money and Ange loses everything.

Just a bit of fun Reds, but hopefully you can interpret what I'm saying. I think Big M has made a massive mistake not only in sacking Nuno, but also in replacing him with an exact opposite. Us human beings naturally don't like change - especially radical change when it's not properly managed. This whole situation has definitely not been properly managed by our Owner. Ange is simply not the right fit for Forest and I think both parties realise that themselves.

I can just imagine Big M sitting there now contemplating how he can turn around his poor decision in order to spin it into a masterstroke of club Ownership. Good luck.

11 Oct 2025 21:08:21
What was the point of getting a attacking manager in to get a bloke in who parks buses for a living I give up nobody knows what there doing at this club edu out.

12 Oct 2025 07:14:39
Quite right Skeggy, strangest call ever.

11 Oct 2025 12:12:09
Edu comes now the manager and Soorting Director both gone common denominator him!

Agree4 Disagree0

11 Oct 2025 13:24:09
You've only got to look at him, how he conducts himself and you can see he's a pompous pr***k, he's getting under everyone's skin.

11 Oct 2025 13:53:39
I wonder if Edu is having the same negative energy at Rio Avenue and Olympiacos?.

11 Oct 2025 15:58:07
Unfortunately the culprit for this mess is Mr M he had something that was working and meddled with it. I don't know what he sees in Edu that he thought could help at Forest, looking at huz record it ain't that good. It seems we have stepped back into chaos again, don't mess with what's working is a mantra I thought Mr m would know from his business background. Quite glad we don't have a game this weekend can relax and enjoy it, hoping they can sort the mess before it is to late.
