Karma against Nuno, lucky, what ever it was it is a valuable 3 points, we was claiming for a corner when they went up field and scored, if that goal have have stood it might have been a different narrative from Sean Dyche about being robbed, thanks to VAR we got out of prison easier than them three prisoners obsconding a couple of days ago, Nuno proved he's a class act with our players after the game ?.

Agree5 Disagree0

07 Jan 2026 17:25:49
Totally agree Mossy, I thought that was a great touch by Nuno hugging the Forest players after, true gent if you ask me.

After the pen went in, he was absolutely crestfallen, I did feel a bit sorry for him to be honest, but at the end of the day he is worth a few bob so he can't get to upset!

We were definitley the better team 2nd half and would have been really hard done by if the scored from what should have been our corner, cracking finish mind, he is a good player.

07 Jan 2026 18:17:15
I'll never feel sorry for him as he messed our season up
He had a chance to win something in Europe, but out came the dummy, just like maresca and amorin
Deserves everything that's coming at west ham.

07 Jan 2026 18:52:06
I believe Edu, had caused the rift. I lay the blame totally at his feet.

07 Jan 2026 18:58:32
I was moved by Nunos dignified interaction with the Forest players after the game, distraught as ge was by the way the game went. He’d clearly built a bond with the players destroyed by Mr Ms mistake in appointing Edu.

07 Jan 2026 19:03:57
Get well soon Kevin Keegan!

07 Jan 2026 19:04:22
It was the owner that messed the season up by sacking Nuno in the first place because Marinakis didn't like his honest answer to a question.

07 Jan 2026 19:21:50
NONE of us will ever know what happened with Nuno edu and Mr M, that's a fact. But it's always the coaches fault never the players or the back room staff. I think the players didn't help in the debacle, mgw got knobbled by spurs and hasn't been the same since, there was a lot of uncertainty around the squad, last season it was a tight knit team then a shed full of new faces it was bound to affect the squad.

just my angle on the situation.

07 Jan 2026 19:26:01
DTP that was quite harsh. We understand that Edu's actions were a contributing factor to the problems between him and Nuno. Nuno deserves recognition for leading us into Europe and for showing respect towards his former team.

07 Jan 2026 20:02:55
He gave us some brilliant memories.

07 Jan 2026 20:04:09
Not harsh at all
Did you watch nuno refuse to shake rob Edwards hand last week?
You have your opinion of him and I have mine
I blame him because he knew edu was coming in and it's not the first time the bloke has caused trouble.

07 Jan 2026 20:34:18
Dtp you just like trying to blame nuno because you was wrong about him. he proved you wrong big time getting a bunch of misfits into Europe your as bad as some of these football pundits that nuno and forest proved wrong as well get over it pal you will always be wrong about nuno ?.

07 Jan 2026 20:50:27
And your just trying to blame edu.

07 Jan 2026 21:10:50
Lol dtp you only after see if you didn't have your blinkers on what he's done to this club since he's been here. we've gone backwards and blew 100 millions of pounds and no sign of the good team we had last season under nuno. get over yourself pal your making yourself look stupid.

07 Jan 2026 21:43:20
I look stupid?
You've always looked stupid no matter who is in charge.

07 Jan 2026 22:14:56
? can't remember looking that stupid when I backed nuno to take us to the promise land. and sels who was one of the best keepers in the Premier league enjoy the rest of your panda pops potter I'm off for a good night's sleep sweet dreams dtp ?.

07 Jan 2026 22:32:33
Only have to look at live chat to see how stupid you are and childish with it.

08 Jan 2026 00:33:46
Obsessed with live chat this one. How many times are you going to bring it up? Trying to bring people down and well let's put it in a straight way, GRASS them up. Shows how pathetic and undoubtedly how low you will stoop to try and silence those who don't agree with you. ?.

08 Jan 2026 08:11:56
Well said, RedRobin. When someone doesn't appreciate hearing different perspectives, it's often best to avoid further engagement.

08 Jan 2026 08:16:30
While your dislike for Nuno is widely known, it's important to acknowledge his relative success during his time here.
Could you please explain the reasons behind your strong negative feelings? It's understandable to have criticisms, but it's worth considering that even despite his imperfections he gave many fan's long lasting memories.

08 Jan 2026 08:50:12
You really do miss the playground redrobin
How can you be grassed up on a banter site?
You'd need something to hide for starters and somewhere to hide it.

08 Jan 2026 09:21:48
I appreciate and enjoyed last season under nuno and like all fans was looking forward to the new season and europe as he'd signed his new contract
Great performance and result against brentford and the season looked exciting
Then before the palace game he ruins everything with his comments, by that I mean for himself his coaching staff the players and the club
I've got more time for steve Cooper as he conducted himself far better
I won't forgive nuno for that, he should have left before the season started, he knew the way the club ran and he wasn't ever going to change that
Meresca and amorin have tried to do exactly the same and with the same outcome
I hope that answers your quest Ripley mate.

08 Jan 2026 11:00:17
And thank you for proving my point. ?.

08 Jan 2026 15:14:35
Fair Pont DTP. ??.

08 Jan 2026 16:04:13
Proving what point?

08 Jan 2026 16:48:13
Read-between-the-lines?.

08 Jan 2026 17:41:17
What i love about you redrobin is how you hang on to my shirt tale
I was responding to skeggs, and trust me he's more than capable of looking after himself.

08 Jan 2026 18:35:56
Dream on DTP, i like everyone else here are free to comment on what we like. I happen to agree with a lot of what skegs says. See what i said earlier, now apparently i can't comment because you said so. To defend yourself you try and twist it against me saying I'm hanging onto you. Pathetic! ?.

08 Jan 2026 18:56:55
Where have I said you can't comment?

08 Jan 2026 19:03:01
Do you not read what you write? ?.

08 Jan 2026 19:53:09
You read to much into things.

07 Jan 2026 16:01:39
Can't believe maranakis is letting edu waste another 40 million on larson ??.

Agree1 Disagree0

07 Jan 2026 17:38:22
40 million for his one goal so far this season seems crazy. ?.

07 Jan 2026 18:21:16
Kaliamundo 35 million?
Scored plenty. last season. and knows the demands of the premier
Don't get me wrong I'm not totally convinced, but chris wood proved us wrong, remember a fee on here calling him plankoff
Strikers come at a premium in January
Thought on first view west ham have wasted 50 million on their two new ones.

07 Jan 2026 18:59:55
I’m not sure about £40 m but we do need a big target man up top to give us options now that Woodys out.

07 Jan 2026 19:06:33
It's not a striker we need it's someone in midfield that can play a killer ball to the striker. Or a new coach that knows a thing or two about tactics instead of hoffball and continue doing things that clearly aren't working.

07 Jan 2026 19:28:55
I believe it's important for Edu the Snake oil salesman to be removed from Forest. His presence affects the mod and overall well-being. With him out of the way, Forest would undoubtedly experience a resurgence.

07 Jan 2026 20:05:19
Why would that suddenly happen Ripley?

07 Jan 2026 20:34:50
Bang on Ripley.

08 Jan 2026 08:26:42
Here's why.
Edu is alleged to have made decisions that were either incorrect or unnecessary, and his ability to find talent has not been demonstrated.
His time at Arsenal also ineffective.

08 Jan 2026 17:15:09
No i meant by removing him Ripley
Why would we suddenly become resurgent?

07 Jan 2026 14:36:40
Speaking of VAR PGMO have said Diaz should have received a second yellow card against us for stopping the Jesus breakout against Man City ( but says VAR can’t interfere with yellow card decisions).

Agree1 Disagree0

07 Jan 2026 14:29:36
A game of fine margins but both the VAR interventions were correct ( despite what Mr Soucek thinks you can’t, as a goalkeeper, come out for the bal, miss it and punch the opposition player in the head). Also, their lad had played a part in the build up to their disallowed goal whilst offside, albeit by about a foot at best. It’s about time we had a bit of luck with the officials.
All in all, not a classic, too many nerves and too much tension for that. But full blooded and competitive, a proper arm wrestle But SD, for all his detractors, has raised us from 4 points below the drop to 7 points above. Not pretty last night but effective. I will re watch and do a “lump it survey”. The only one I can remember is when Jesus was frantically being told to take it to the corner at the end.
It’s certainly not a case of Special Agent Dick Barton’s “ with one bound he was free” but 7 points gives us a bit of breathing space.

A long way to go but I’d rather be us than West Ham, Burnley and Wolves.
Special mention to Sels, solid game so hopefully the break has done him good. We look much better with him. Williams superb and Aina got a full game. Dominquez did well overall and had a bit of luck ( or great skill) with the header. He did a similar one couple of seasons ago whilst we were down to ten men against Brentford I think and got us a draw).
On the downside MGW was largely ineffective and Anderson knackered.
Next game will be our second string. Poor scheduling ( TV expecting Wrexham to provide a “shock” result early early doors for FA Cup coverage when it will be not of the sort). 2 games in 4 days with long trips from East London to North Wales and little, if any, recovery time…….

Agree4 Disagree0

07 Jan 2026 15:58:25
Edu out dinosaur dyche out.

07 Jan 2026 16:36:02
Agree about the scheduling, maybe Storm Goretti will come to our aid and give North Wales a serious dose of snow but when would it be played- before Arsenal?

07 Jan 2026 19:05:56
Probably before Arsenal Norfolk but who knows with the vagaries of our weather mate. Sadly the FA Cup is our third priority i'd argue this season.
Skegs, thank you for your typically erudite and thought provoking contribution mate! ????.

07 Jan 2026 22:16:09
No problem stokey I don't need to write a book to see what's wrong with the club pal ??.

08 Jan 2026 01:44:06
A sad reflection on our game that the FA Cup is know more of an annoyance fixture, than a big chance at what was once a major trophy, unfortunately staying in the Premier is now Paramount, and a Europa cup can move you on to the next stage so priorities change!.

The goal by Dominquezs just look at his eyes following the ball into the corner of the goal, he ment it for sure.

08 Jan 2026 14:34:58
Agreed Skegs that we don’t need to trouble the printers at this stage.
I can review your work in one word…. ”pithy”…
What do you think mate? ?????.

07 Jan 2026 11:28:16
Last nights win. Is the first time since we have been back in the premier, that we have been losing at half time and gone on to win.

Hopefully it gives them some belief.

Agree2 Disagree0

07 Jan 2026 09:35:01
What a nerve wracking watch but at long last some calls go our way. A second string side in the FA cup to give Anderson et al a break. We cannot risk any of our main players.

One simple tactic to give us more cutting edge would be to play a proper no 10 alongside Jesus, whether that’s MGW or whoever but nobody can play in isolation as this poor lad is having to do.

Agree7 Disagree0

07 Jan 2026 08:49:12
3 vital points on the table!
A must win was won!
Which team turned up last night?
West Ham didn't!
We have had some crappy VAR calls against us this season, so we were due some good calls.

We don't make the rules, so we are told, so VAR can take the blame again.
We won, let's move on and say we'll done lads for not getting beat!
Amen!

Fulham v Liverpool - A Quick Liverpool Perspective

{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Fulham v Liverpool - A Quick Liverpool Perspective

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jan 2026 02:04:50
Got to say, i'm actually really happy for Dyche, i know i and many others knock him but his hearts in the right place and he wants the best for us.
Also i feel bad for Nuno, love his personality and demeanor but he's on a hiding to nothing with the hammers.

Mr M needs to get in touch and make sure Bowen comes our way when they go down. ?.

Agree6 Disagree0

07 Jan 2026 06:15:35
No one's mentioned their keepers save from Nico?
Also CHO hitting the bar.
However I'm a little more calm, now we have that cushion.
Still a hard road ahead.

07 Jan 2026 09:20:53
Maybe if we bring in larson it will help Jesus to shine in a different position winger maybe or along side him at some point in a match, he's a strong lad remind me of Adama a little he has a role to play in our Squad has have others.

07 Jan 2026 09:32:33
I'm happy for the poor fans who made the trip down to watch that display. At least we fluked a win. My son's Grandad is a Hammers fan, but I'm not feeling sorry for Nuno. He made his bed.

07 Jan 2026 16:10:44
Great post Red Robin.
Bowen is a superb player. I remember him ripping us to bits in his Hull City Days in the Championship mate. Fast, hardworking, good finisher, I’d have him at Forest in a flash.
However, I wonder if he would jump from the frying pan into the fire…. from one badly run basket case of a club to another? ….

06 Jan 2026 23:15:23
And so ta bed,
Lucky goal from dominguez and mgw. the gods, Clough/ taylor looking down on us.
Said on live chat, never have we had an owner so passionate. And inject the money with it. Yes he efs up. But bye don't take his spirit away. COYR.

‘Then with the losers let it sympathize,
For nothing can seem foul to those that win’

MoM ; Williams in his heart he is a true red.

Agree4 Disagree0

07 Jan 2026 05:40:13
Williams was my MOM.

07 Jan 2026 13:35:27
I like that Nuno! ……???.

06 Jan 2026 22:42:55
We got super lucky tonight, massive win but Dyche needs to get the players on side or he’ll be gone with a few more defeats.

Nico and Neco outstanding. MGW has some serious cojones to take that penalty.

Baffled by the Jesus hate. He wins balls, holds play up but has absolutely nobody near for him to do anything with it. He’s expected to play 90 mins because Dyche doesn’t trust or like the other strikers so obviously he’s going to be tired later in the game and be less effective. I agree he’s not an out and out finisher and is definitely an area to improve on, though I do think he’d bag a few goals if we played more to his strengths and not expect him to be a target player which isn’t his style (from watching his Botafogo games, I know different leagues etc. )

Either way COYR.

Agree8 Disagree0

06 Jan 2026 23:26:14
It's certainly not 'Jesus hate' from me. However, I've said for a long time that the guy simply doesn't fit in with the Forest-way. Maybe he'd be good in the attacking-midfielder role, or maybe as a striker playing alongside a big lad - but, I really can't see a future for him at Forest atm.

06 Jan 2026 23:56:35
Agree about Jesus, if Wood wasn't injured Jesus would have been introduced gradually, and get up to speed hopefully of the Premier, he's been asked to do a job what is different to what he's used to playing, I mean he does play for Brazil so can't be that bad!, one player I wish we had kept is Jota Silva, willing runner and competitive and scored goals, and he didn't want to leave, can't say that for some of the team at the moment.

07 Jan 2026 00:22:14
We got var decisions in our favour for once?
West ham got lucky we gave them a goal start on their own patch.

07 Jan 2026 00:35:43
Neco was superb, one of his best performances imo. ?.

06 Jan 2026 22:41:48
Look at the gap between Forest and the relegation zone now Reds. The table certainly looks a lot better than before! I suppose that the result is all that matters - but even being an optimist I have some severe doubts after watching the game.

Jesus is awful. Anderson is knackered. Our wingers seem unwilling to take on anyone on the outside. Too many sideways and backwards passes. Also, did you notice how much SD was pointing forwards toward the West Ham goal? To me, that epitomised Forest players' lack of belief in themselves in attack.

I'll take the win quite happily though!

Agree2 Disagree0

06 Jan 2026 23:19:23
Jesus is decent. The coach is awful. A decent game plan and these players can do a job. We have the same team we had when we were second in the league, apart from Elanga.

07 Jan 2026 07:58:31
Red cyclist but importantly lost 20 goals a season from wood,

07 Jan 2026 08:47:12
Also Aina who has only played the last 2 games under Dyche and isn't match sharp yet.
Sangare also not been available for last 5 matches and Yates the last few.
Serious lack of height and physical presence throughout the side at the moment.

07 Jan 2026 09:28:59
Wood has only got 20 goals in a season once in his career. We've definitely missed his goals, but prior to that his best tally was 16 and he normally gets a lot less.

Good sides don't rely on one player for goals. Someone scoring 15 or more would be great. But our midfield is so bad at chipping in.

The way Jesus plays, you need wingers and a box crashing CM to bang them in but they can't shoot.

07 Jan 2026 11:44:22
Cyclist Yep wood has, and it was for us last season, so we are 20 goals light, and he also did it in a team with about 27% possession, I don’t get this obsession with Jesus he’s never been a goal scorer, when wood came to the club and wasn’t scoring he was getting dogs abuse ‘ all of a sudden people are talking about re jigging the team to fit around Jesus, a non scoring striker,

07 Jan 2026 13:48:35
Good post Fred! ?????????.
