NFFC linked with Asmir Beogivic, 31 and out of favour with Bournemouth.

Talk of £7.5m asking price and £70k wage.

Opinions?

1.) 15 May 2019 16:27:00
I sincerely hope not!

2.) 15 May 2019 17:01:30
Dead wood.

3.) 15 May 2019 18:32:57
Paper talk we can't afford that on a goalkeeper

4.) 15 May 2019 19:00:19
The club should not pay any player £70,000 a week. A player wanting those wages at a Championship club is not worth having in my opinion.

He can do one.

5.) 17 May 2019 13:14:07
70k is his current wage. He would obviously have to drop that if he dropped a division.

6.) 19 May 2019 16:34:55
I don't understan Forest in recent years buying players and not giving them chance on the field. Are we just moving money around?

31 Jul 2018 15:59:21
Goalkeeper Luke Steele, 33, will be Forest's 11th signing of the summer joining on a free after his release from Bristol City. Wage will reportedly be 7k per week

Forest have 7 keepers on the books currently. Expect Dimi Evtimov and Tim Erlandsson to leave soon, and Stephen Henderson once he has recovered from his injury.

1.) 31 Jul 2018 18:09:57
I must admit that I cannot see the logic behind that one.

2.) 31 Jul 2018 19:22:30
Maybe its to let smith leave on loan to gain more 1st team experience

3.) 31 Jul 2018 21:13:38
Selling Kapino for £1 mil to Werder Bremen

4.) 31 Jul 2018 21:34:20
Don't get it either at 33 he's hardly played other than for Barnsley always been a number two.
Anyone who wants Kapino and give us a million snap their hands off

5.) 31 Jul 2018 22:40:50
id be happy with any money for kapino as he came in free. 1 mil would be great

6.) 01 Aug 2018 09:20:46
We seem a bit heavy on 'Keepers?

7.) 01 Aug 2018 10:20:27
Crossley hasn't played for years.😁

8.) 01 Aug 2018 11:02:43
Smith loan to Birmingham

9.) 01 Aug 2018 11:13:32
Let's get Barry Roach back ,very experianced now.
CARLO
What about Goodlad

10.) 01 Aug 2018 14:14:24
It's got to be a cardboard cut-out ? Surely??

11.) 01 Aug 2018 17:16:31
Please don't loan Smith to a Championship club. Unless it's Blackburn, Rotherham or Wigan. A team likely to be at the wrong end of the table. . oh go on then Birmingham.😁

12.) 01 Aug 2018 17:53:11
Good business in my eyes. Solid and experienced backup in Steele and to make 1m Euros off Kapino is good.

Emitov, Henderson will both go whilst Erlanderson will be loaned. Smith will be third choice unless Championship Club come in for him on loan.

Clough, Manchienne and Vellios will all go out before deadline either on loan or perminant.

Only signing now might be rightback on loan.

Good summer though! Excited for season!

13.) 01 Aug 2018 19:16:59
Very funny Scouse!!

31 Jul 2018 15:17:48
McKay's move to Swansea now complete. 500k is the reported fee (the same amount we paid for him a year ago)

J65 nffc

1.) 31 Jul 2018 23:55:18
Now claimed £1.5m, which is a much better deal for Forest if true.👏

2.) 01 Aug 2018 07:31:53
I think it's 500k with a load of add ons.

3.) 01 Aug 2018 08:36:07
He'd be well worth the 500k if he's managed right hoping they've put a sell on clause

16 Jul 2018 13:28:27
Sunderland look set to sign a defensive midfielder, after being linked with Leadbitter (as have Forest) .

With leadbitter said to not be part of Pulis' plans this season, could he make the switch to the CG?

Would be a good player for us IMO. Maybe not a starter but good depth in that position.

Also, cracking result earlier today from the boys #COYR.

J65 nffc

1.) 16 Jul 2018 15:21:22
With the wages he will most likely want he would have to be a first choice player, too expensive just to be a back up player.

2.) 16 Jul 2018 15:52:20
Would his wages be higher or lower than Jack Colback's?

3.) 16 Jul 2018 16:31:08
J65. I do not know, i would have thought similar wages, but the differences for me are that the manager has shouted from the rooftops that he wants Colback back at Forest, therefore would be a first choice player. Leadbitter has not had the manager say anything about him since joining Forest as far as i know and you are saying that he would only be second choice so no comparison can be made on wages. Just wasted money on a second choice player.

4.) 16 Jul 2018 18:37:53
Sooner have Colback all day long alongside Watson rather then The Legbiter who is on the wane now

5.) 17 Jul 2018 11:46:26
Fair points. It depends if AK wants to add depth or quality to that position. Leadbitter would provide more depth at cheaper price (both signing fee and wages). That was why I posted it

Jorge Grant is understood to have had a medical today at Luton Town, and is expected to join the newly promoted League 1 side on a season-long loan deal.

J65 nffc

1.) 06 Jul 2018 16:04:03
Good move for the lad.I think I have read somewhere that they like to play with an attacking flair?

Lecce have 'triggered' transfer clause for Tachtidis after a positive loan spell with them last season.

We signed him on a free, so a profit will have been made on him however big or small.

Let the trimming begin!

Pele has signed on loan until end of season.

J65 nffc

1.) 31 Jan 2019 11:54:38
Just needs bobby moor, David seaman Gary line-acre and nobby stiles now then

31 Jan 2019 08:31:58
Opinion: If Forest can only bring in 3 players today, of the players we've been linked with, who would you want us to sign?

J65 nffc

1.) 31 Jan 2019 09:41:28
Doesn’t luck like any decent signings are going to be made. Yet again media hype and reports of so called signings seem way off and unreal. We will probably loose Osborne which will be terrible business seen as he’s so young and buy untried over seas players or has been.🤨🤨 going to be a long day seeing fellow teams snap up what decent players there are

2.) 31 Jan 2019 09:58:28
Reece Oxford - kid is going to be quality
McDonald - good at this level. Would prefer johansen from Fulham
Bonatini - we need another striker and for me he’s good at championship level

Wouldn’t say no to a winger (would like Jamal Lowe from Portsmouth but doubt it will ever happen, pave power and decent end product) and another defender (as much as we should aim higher I would take Tyler Blackett, can play LB and CB so decent back up)

30 Jan 2019 11:30:49
Who do we rate better as a pair:
Ariyib and Grant, or Dias and Goncalves?

I don't think Ariyibi and Grant would have done worse than the Portuguese pair.
Would be nice to see Forest players given a chance more in future IMO.

J65 nffc

1.) 30 Jan 2019 11:53:18
The only sure fire answer is that we will never know that one.
Aryibi has never kicked a ball for us and Grant at 24 , though not exactly over the hill, may well have missed the boat here although my brother across the Trent would give his right arm and possibly even leg to have him back.

Cannot say that I saw very much from Dias and particularly Goncalves either but like you would like to see young players given the chance but unfortunately it happens less and less and not just at our club

2.) 30 Jan 2019 12:43:37
Grant better than the 3 million wonder kid Zac Clough

11 Jan 2019 10:33:38
I'm curious, who does everyone want to replace AK?

J65 nffc

1.) 11 Jan 2019 10:41:38
Jokanovic for me. Got Fulham up

2.) 11 Jan 2019 10:57:27
Got to be Jokanovic for me. He got both Fulham and Watford promoted to the prem playing decent attractive football so at least he has experience of what we all need/want. Don’t want Allardyce, Rowett or any old school/ merry go round managers nor a manager from abroad with no experience of the championship- we tried that with Montanier.

3.) 11 Jan 2019 11:06:41
O'Neil & Pearce partnership

4.) 11 Jan 2019 11:32:59
Marinakis! Simples

5.) 11 Jan 2019 11:40:37
Ridiculous suggestion

6.) 11 Jan 2019 12:49:52
RIE & Sutton for me. Tactics second to none, good man management skills and above all good at keeping us entertained.

7.) 11 Jan 2019 13:00:30
Ex Fulham manager will do.
If not him o neil

Don't know anything about Pele, Gallagher however doesn't excite me - poor goal per game ratio throughout entire career :/

I would prefer a more experienced CM alongside Yates. Cash doesn't cut it for me for starting line-up. A decent, somewhat versatile, squad player at best

I hear Turkey is a good place for golfing holidays, anyone here a golf fan? If so, would you recommend Turkey?

Not Forest related I know, so apologies

I think Southgate is a believer of 'Don't change a winning team', as am I. Thus Walker remained at CB throughout
