If we are to move from our spiritual home of 126 years it needs to be in Nottingham not the Derbyshire border

The nearest town to Toton is Long Eaton that place like Ilkeston is bandit country Forest and Direby fans, avoid Toton like the plague Nottingham stops at Stabbo imo

Loads of land adjacent to Colwick Park Sainsbury's have just opened a superstore there it's near the racecourse and only just across the river from the world famous Coty Ground

I'm a Gedling boy and would love East Nottingham to host the new stadium this area has plenty of land and is ripe for investment around the Colwick area.

Cricket field off the loop road 😜.
Colwick is a good shout.

16 May 2024 16:03:35
MUN did you go to Gedling Comp? 🧐.

16 May 2024 17:56:27
No mate Carlton Le Willows.

16 May 2024 22:11:38
Trumped him there munmad.

16 May 2024 09:18:57
97% of season card renewals great.
But how many season cards are there?

Agree0 Disagree0

16 May 2024 13:48:08
Apparently as of yesterday morning only a thousand hadn’t renewed, with tonight the Final Cut off,

15 May 2024 22:08:49
Season card renewals at 97%
Shows the faith.

DTP it’s the usual way, the small minority that moan get all the publicity, ,

16 May 2024 16:32:10
I gave my season card up after the pandemic debacle. Watching it without fans took all the importance and enjoyment out of the matches. It was like watching a training match or a meaningless friendly. I thought I might regret it when we got promoted but the VAR rubbish more or less convinced me it was the right decision.

16 May 2024 22:14:18
You don't sound convinced tbh
You must miss going surely?
I mean it wasn't good football pre covid and it was in the championship.

15 May 2024 18:50:39
If Toton goes ahead half of us on here will be dead before it’s ready 😇😇😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️

The main thing is to be as healthy as possible and forward thinking.

Toton, no no no!

Toton sidings area is approachable from Bessell Lane in Sandiarce and Bostocks Lane Long Eaton on junction 25, M1. Plenty of pubs, hotels and eateries in both locations. I know I lived there all my life. Great place if you can afford to live there. 😁🎈.

15 May 2024 20:01:57
They're in Derbyshire aren't they, the pubs wouldn't let you in. I just think it's a big mistake. Mr m won't care he's not targeting the truth supporters he wants the prawn sandwich brigade, those with master cards in their pockets. Can you imagine the cost a season ticket, we couldn't afford to go.

15 May 2024 21:43:12
It's not an expensive place to live at all, I spent 44 years living the area
Name a pub that would be local to Toton sidings balloons?
Name a hotel that hasn't been bought by the government to house asylum seekers?
It would need a whole new retail park building and hotels and pubs just like the sheep did, problem is the site would need decontamination after years of diesel spillage.

15 May 2024 22:22:54
Balloons.

Can just image 40, 000 people going down bessell Lane n trying to get off m1 or thru stabbo

By the way 2 of the hotels off j25 now being used to house asylum seekers

Never going to happen in toton.

15 May 2024 22:52:41
It wouldn't matter if we had a 80k stadium at Toton or anywhere else in Nottingham, balloons and skeggs would never be there
It's crap to watch and the owner is clueless.

15 May 2024 22:54:46
🤔 ain't that hotel full of asylum seekers where you done your first bathroom DTP they asked you to fit a bath and you put a dingy in they was so chuffed that they told all there friends and there all coming over on them as bathroom fitters 🤣🤣.

16 May 2024 01:43:18
Sawley ain't Toton 79 and as you say Bessell Lane, Stabbo, Asylum hotels, diesel spillage, M1, Ilkeston, Stanton iron works etc. Why do you think I retired to the coast.
A walk on the beach beats a walk on lkea retail park. 🌞 🎈.

16 May 2024 07:24:43
To get away from all the ex prisoners after you balloons🤣🤣🤣
Walk on the beach looking at giant windmills? And fresh smell of fish and chips, with all that noise from the bingo and arcades
Yes lovely and peaceful🤣🤣🤣🤣.

16 May 2024 08:20:34
There's a nice big garden centre nearby you can pick a few pansies after the match 🤣🤣🤣🌼🌼🌼.

16 May 2024 08:23:04
I don't know why there's all this tunnel vision with Toton? Bloody miles away and next door to the sheep dip.

There's plenty o' land down at Colwick just down the road from the WFCG and it's actually in the city.
Just adding another string to the bow.

16 May 2024 10:09:06
Plenty of room at Clifton on the 453 trams, buses etc blah blah Mr M has the money and we'll that's that.

16 May 2024 11:02:23
Spot on Bordeaux, you've only got to go under ladybay bridge there's acres of land all the way to the rowing course. And there are going to build a new foot bridge from the race course over to ladybay, don't make sense going to toton.

16 May 2024 12:06:01
Much better alternative Bordeaux.
I would much rather us stay where we are and revamp.

15 May 2024 14:09:19
Should we stay or should we go?
If we stay, there could be trouble.
If we go it could be double?
Option 1. Council sells land to Maranakis, CG is developed, we stay.
Option 2. New purpose built stadium, training ground and facilities.
Can we have a poll please Ed's?
Stay at City Ground or Elsewhere?

City Ground or Elsewhere poll

Agree1 Disagree0

15 May 2024 15:02:08
Can’t really vote on the above, as we would need to know what and where we are moving to, and what the city ground development would actually entail,

15 May 2024 15:17:37
We will definitely be in toton, mr m can see a blank canvas to make a lot of money there. You only have to look around the area and see that there is little or no facilities for the supporters, he has the room to put in place bar’s cafes anything that will bring in money. He can’t do that where we are now, he’s seen how much money we supporters spend around the ground. Toton gives him the opportunity to take that money for himself. He didn’t put the new fan zone in for love, it was put in to test the water. You don’t become a billionaire without taking a chance.

15 May 2024 16:36:48
Geographically Toton is awful. It's virtually in Derbyshire. An absolute nightmare to get to unless you are using the M1.
Anyone travelling from East of Nottingham would be really peed off.

15 May 2024 16:46:36
Not sure where exactly they talking about in toton you've got the school n behind that are couple of fields and a rubbish farm but then you have toton sidings a main through route for trains.

Plus toton full of plastic snobs who will oppose it big time on their doorstep.

15 May 2024 23:09:51
Cameron island, near Tollerton airport, that is the best place.

16 May 2024 07:47:48
Gamston, not Cameron. Stupid predictive text.

15 May 2024 10:56:50
Is it just me or does anyone else on here get a sick feeling in the pit of your stomach that the most corrupt financial law breaking club are on the cusp of winning their 4th Premier league title! 😡😡

They should be relegated to league 2 for their 115 breaches of financial fair play and as for Guardiola being the best manager in the world with the players at his disposal Megson could make them champions really boils my blood

Come on Arsenal ( never thought I'd say that)

Agree2 Disagree0

15 May 2024 12:41:44
The premier league just keep picking the low hanging fruit, but won’t address the biggest problem in the game, a club blatantly breaking the rules but apparently above the law, clubs should simply refuse to play Man City next season til these 115 charges are heard,

15 May 2024 12:50:20
Nothing will happen, MUNMAD, because the only thing that matters in this world is money. Clubs like Man City and Chelsea bring a lot of sponsorship into the Premier League, so relegating them will be counterproductive to the people who run the league. As we know the Premier League is corrupt to the core, but money makes everything better.

15 May 2024 23:04:55
Something will happen that's a certainty, it's more what the outcome will be
The premier would not of bought charges against city in the first place if they didn't have a case against city
Because it's historic and a lack of help from city it's taking time, but the charges stand at the end of the day
Let's see what happens, because something will, wether that will suit is another matter.

Pretty sure old Navas will be out of contract in the summer would be good free signing for me to back Sels up and get rid of the others.

Agree7 Disagree0

15 May 2024 12:39:56
Agree with that Shepp. He was great for us and goalkeepers go on at a good level until just short of their state pension! 😂😂 Seriously, think of Lev Yashin, Dave Beasant, Begovich etc. Plus he’s the sort of role model of a senior pro you want at the club to show the young lads how to conduct your life with humility and grace and look after your fitness.

15 May 2024 14:03:01
If I recall he had issues with moving here with his family? Not sure he'd want to spend his last year in England as backup unfortunately. bwojkd be amazing though.

14 May 2024 17:57:06
The key position we need to fill for next season is GK a top class keeper would have saved Mudrics 1st goal for Chelsea and stayed on his line and saved Jackson's 3rd goal

Sels is average at best and Turner is worse we think nothing of spending 25/ 30 m on a midfielder but skimp on the player who Cloughie used to say can save you 20pts a season

A world class keeper inspires his CBs and we would be so much better at set pieces like Shilton Burns and Lloyd

Sam Johnstone for me 20m.

Agree3 Disagree0

14 May 2024 21:12:07
I agree - sels best of a terrible bunch.

14 May 2024 21:42:31
Been our biggest problem since samba and navaa were gone.

14 May 2024 22:08:07
I didn’t think any of the goals Chelsea scored were Sels fault my friends and he saved a one on one. Obviously we could do with a good number 2 gk to keep him in his toes. Definately get rid of Turner and Vlach.

14 May 2024 22:32:49
I actually think he is a good keeper let down, too many times, by an awful defence.

15 May 2024 12:37:09
Munmad, don’t think sels could do much about the 1st goal Montiel was at fault for me, And the 3rd, toffollo went awol leaving us wide open, but I’m not totally convinced by the keeper,

15 May 2024 14:06:04
I think sels has been solid. He's come in at a horrible time with a lot of scrutiny and held his own making some amazing saves. Only really been responsible for a couple of errors. Again, get rid of vlac and turner and sign some decent competition. Need another CB, and striker. I know the noise here hates on Sangare but I'd like to see what he can do. Surely not worth getting rid at a loss after half a year. Could come good?

14 May 2024 17:24:11
I like the look of Matt Drewitt's radical design. Thinking out of the box. Aim for the stars. The 'Stadio Garibaldi '.

Agree3 Disagree0

14 May 2024 21:43:45
And where do we play while it's being built.

15 May 2024 09:15:02
Surely we would stay at the city ground while it was being built don't we still have 33 years of the leasehold still.

15 May 2024 10:31:31
We could play at Ilkeston Town, while it's being built. Nice and Local for 79.A few pints in the Gallows Arms pre match. Lovely pub. 🎈.

15 May 2024 11:19:30
He could walk there down Newtons lane.

15 May 2024 12:17:21
Matt Drewitt's plan for a new stadium is on the city ground site. If forest could buy the rugby club ground other side of the road that would be great, forest used to have their training ground there in Cloughie's years.

15 May 2024 13:20:15
might go for Trent bridge next.

14 May 2024 15:39:38
I agree with dtp.
We've waited 23 years to get back in the Premier league.
I've had a season ticket for that many years I've gave up counting.
The Premiership is as corrupt as can be. But at the end of the day it's the only place to be. And we must fight as hard as we can to preserve our statues.

Agree7 Disagree0

14 May 2024 18:31:20
What I don’t get is, if the premier is so unappealing to some fans ( and I get it to a degree) what do we do back in the championship, ? Play not to win every week in case we get promoted, ?

14 May 2024 21:11:57
Exactly stevie, it would be pointless and we mainly struggled in it anyway.
