I understand that Gladners love affair with Ndoye Milenkovic and Schlager is over and they will not be in the starting 11 on Saturday this has come from someone who works on the sports desk at the Nottingham post

We will see if this is true but imo it needs to be as Ndoye and Milenkovic don’t have a fifth gear or the heart needed for the Premier league

Also he has been looking at a back four in training

Please let this be true and give Hudson Odoi Dominguez Diamonde and Sangare a chance to start

Just been reading the latest string of bulls testicle, but it does make me smile a lot. Thank you, it takes my mind off health issues!
Anyway, Como who beat Man Utd was it, the little club! They scored 9 goals away from home last night, so how about the manager taking over at Forest? But he has to bring the strike force with him!
Forest v Man City this weekend, I would dearly love to see a Forest win! However, I think if OG plays the same team, in the same formation, it will become very messy!
A question for our stat's people, what is the biggest home defeat for Forest at the WFCG?

O G as apparently had his say on our last four signings, Munoz ,Shalagar ,Diamondia ,and De Lap
What’s your opinions?
Would you trust him for Jan?

Glasner is a good and proven manager Carlo. It's the owner who stifles progress and achievement and has done since Cooper.

@Carlo. Nope.

Delap would do better in a different system with wingers and MGW advanced into a proper free ranging number 10 as under VP.
Schlager has done well in the Prem with the exception of the Brentford game. He looked knackered but he's doing the work of 2 holding midfielders.

I don't know why Diomande was dropped. He was superb against Arsenal and steady all season considering it's his first in the Prem.

His replacement Milenkovic looks rusty and clearly not comfortable in a three at the back. We saw that under Ange. He looks lost and the decision to play him has come back to bite Glasner.

Munoz still a 50 50 for me. But hes the only specialist wingback unlike Glasner tries the German lad.

I have supported NFFC since being taken to the City Ground by my dad in 1959 and in all that time I don't think I've ever been as angry as I am now

5/6 Managers have come and gone and we are 29th in the table all this chopping and changing is ruining g our great club

Why oh why did Mr M get rid of VP he had us playing well with a smile on everybody's faces
players included

After Glasners fatal mistake post Brentford I want Mr M to swallow his pride and move heaven and earth to get VP back along with Hutchinson and Bakwa in January.

19th😏.

Bakwa got 2 assists and zero goals in over 20 matches (albeit many as sub). Hutchison got one goal and 6 assists in over 35 matches. I like Hutchison somewhat but neither delivered how they remotely should have done for the Β£70m odd we spent. Are they really the answer?

The only way is up my friends!
However, it won't happen with the current coach and his team!
What do they do all week on the training ground?
OG HAS TO GO!

Would love to have VP back, but the way he was treated it won't happen!

We need a solid back 4, Williams, Aina, Cunha, Serbinator

We need a strong midfield, Sangare and Murillo

We attacking midfielder, MGW, McAtee

We need attackers to put the ball in the net, Jesus, CHO or Wood or Delap

We need to get wingers into play, we need Hutchinson back from his loan.

We need to get rid of Ndoye asap, along with OG!

VP has been moved on from a Marinakis job before then gone back. If he's offered a Prem job and more money, of course he'll come back.

1

01 Nov 2026 13:48:47
Vitor Pereira has worked for Marinakis a number of times, so he's clearly fine with how Marinakis runs his clubs. Who wouldn't be if they get paid £££.

1

01 Nov 2026 13:59:08
Agreed Cyclist. VP was sacked by our Glorious Leader immediately after winning the Greek double for Olympiakos mate. His mistake was to express interest in the Fenerbache job, sure to wind up a Greek.
But VP is the most pragmatic of managers.

@Marinakis/Syrianos: Pick up the phone and call Pereira now.

Not sure he's the answer. He's good in short stints but not a long term option. Thankful for last season and somewhat disappointed he wasn't given a chance but I think his record probably went against him when Mr M weighed up his options. I do think at this current moment in time we'd have more points than under glasner but long term think glasner is the better manager.

I still fully back glasner, his comments post match yesterday were spot on. If he's given time (I'm not sure he will be given now) then I do think he'll be a success. The players have to take some accountability as they've been poor and look disinterested. Like I say with time and patience I do think glasner will work but we'll see what happens!

Interesting post SY. It struck me though that every Forest manager under Mr M has had a short stint mate. even the successful ones like Cooper and Nuno ( who knows even Vitor ?).

1

01 Nov 2026 13:49:24
I think the this from Mr M has to be one of stability and really building something now. Rather than chopping and changing everything. Players and managers in and out like a revolving door is no good. I do think we have to stick with glasner and let him do his thing.

If he does see out his 3 years contract (and beyond?) I think we establish ourselves as a club that's pushing for top 8 on a regular basis. But that only happens if we stop with these short stint managerial appointments.

2

01 Nov 2026 14:01:45
Agreed SY mate, I've been banging on about stability since the days of Steve Cooper. Look at what other clubs of our size or worse can achieve with a bit of continuity. Farke at Leeds, Andrews yesterday, Brighton ?

01 Nov 2026 14:42:16
Exactly they've got very good models and one of like to see us implement to an extent. Who knows what will happen. All we can do at the moment is support the team and hope we start bagging a few goals and gain some confidence.

I think tmoz massive game for glasner he will need to come away with 3 points if he doesn't I think the man city game will be is last with a few week international break Mr M. will definitely pull the trigger.

Marinakis is unpredictable so hard to say.

Vitor Pereira

Current Ambition: In recent interviews (October 2026), Pereira confirmed he is waiting for his next challenge and is eager to make a return to the Premier League, ideally targeting a team capable of competing at the top end of the table.

It's one win in 9 with Man City to come after Brentford.
Mr M has sacked many managers with better records.

Top news article.
The new James Bond has been announced.
A 3 film contract over the next 8 years.
Swiss star Dan Ndoye accepts the part and announced due to his lucrative film franchise contract, he won't be able to play for Forest anymore.
Ah, bugger it!

1

27 Oct 2026 08:16:09
My wife says Ndoye s got the looks. Second only to Felipe apparently.she knows nothing about the football side of things though.

2

27 Oct 2026 08:18:43
I've heard Ndoye is the new baddie, being an international hit man and never caught. The reason he's never been caught is he gets other people to do the hits, because he's to lazy to do them himself. He still gets paid millions even though he doesn't do the work!

Wonder how much it's cost to replace Brice Samba, how many keepers have arrived since Mr M took against him, more ego than sense.
Samba still doing well in France.
CARLO.

1

26 Oct 2026 13:11:09
Samba was either brilliant or capable of spectacular errors. He'll always be a legend for his erratic personality and penalty saving heroics.
He d be a liability at set pieces nowadays because he was always pulling and shoving opponents about quite violently at times. A gift for the VAR jobsworths.

3

26 Oct 2026 13:48:43
Carlo, I think we are lucky to have Sels who imo is a much better keeper than Samba. Brice would also be struggling for a first team spot against the keepers we've had since promotion. I'm thinking of Henderson, Ortega and Navas for example mate ?

4

26 Oct 2026 17:54:24
Not seen him lately but I suspect he,s matured quite a bit.
He's been No 2 for France for a few years now and can't see him holding that spot down if he,s still erratic.
Sels was apparently a bit dodgy in his time at Newcastle but possibly like Samba he,s better in his 30,s.

Still think it as a mistake at the time to push him out, I remember him being dismissed in his last few months and when he'd served his suspension he came back seemingly have learnt his lesson.
CARLO.

2

26 Oct 2026 18:11:11
Yes, I remember him calming down after his suspension Carlo and perhaps a few wise words from Steve Cooper.
I must admit ive never seen him play in or for France mate.

Congratulations Carlo. Married twice. First one 13 years, second one 17 years and counting. Never won an argument and scarcely got a word in edgeways. i work on 2 principles mate
Firstly, the lady is always right as they are invariably wiser than us
Secondly, as per the song " if you can't love the one you want Love the one you're with”

1957 Stokie 1.3d to go in 3d program, 2 kids pens, kop and Trent end, often able to watch us from attacking end both half's, all inside gates open half time. Some big attendances in those days,we always came out to the Robin Hood tune just as the arrow hits the tree, can still Jack Burkitt's bandy legs coming down the tunnel with the ball under his arm in my minds eye every home game.

PS had already been going to Meadow Lane for a season, Dad said the crowds to big at CG but sneaked off one Sat. saw those garibaldi shirts and that was it but continued going to Notts especially when Hayley was playing, still the best header of a ball I've seen his ability to get so high was unsurpassed.
CARLO.

28 Oct 2026 15:11:28
Well played Carlo. I'm guessing you must be 5 or 6 years at least older than me? In which case, from our brief pre match meet up at the TBI you look much younger mate!
Congratulations on your marriage, love of the Reds and eternal youth ! πŸ‘πŸ‘.
