IT will tell the football world the state that the club is in when the manager of Burton ( no disrespect ) turns down the chance to become the manager of former European champions! It then becomes serious, very serous because nobody but Brazil wants the job, and in my opinion is never going to get us to the " promised land "!

Johnnyv77

1.) 27 Jan 2017 15:34:46
Not sure Brazil even wants the job. Can't blame Nigel if he turns us down, he is currently at a club that is well run, as a good structure and is building foundations that will help it survive long term. Burton may be playing above there level in the Championship but they are a better prospect currently than Nffc who have none of the above.

2.) 27 Jan 2017 15:43:39
And the common denominator in all this mayhem is ...?

3.) 28 Jan 2017 16:24:28
Plenty of managers want the job? Just not any good ones who are still in work. lol There's a three year contract paying a million quid a year going for 7 months work. 3 million quid for seven months work and you don't think there are any takers?

29 Sep 2016 18:06:46
Listening to Mancienne on Notts TV he commented on the chopping and changes in the back 4 and the problems it is causing and he didn't seem happy about it! Not a positive sign if the alleged new contract talks are about to start, but what made it worse was Montanier speaking separetly after him saying he likes to change to keep players " fresh " because of all the games we play, so don't expect his policy to change any time soon!

We are sliding down the table fast, a loss on Saturday and I wouldn't bet against it and all the jibes at Derby recently come come back and " bite us " because we could be below them if they beat Reading.

Johnnyv77

1.) 29 Sep 2016 18:43:31
If the players are not happy with the tinkering PM could lose the dressing room that would be disastrous. I am not looking foreward to Sat if he makes a lot of changes i think we will be played of the park, but as usual i will be cheering on the REDS😎.

2.) 29 Sep 2016 20:14:57
To me the players seem lost and not sure what they are being asked to do. If he's not careful the new US owners may put PM on his bike, and we're back to square one again.

3.) 29 Sep 2016 20:42:12
bsered, it seems to have gone quite on the investment/ buy out anyone got info😎.

4.) 29 Sep 2016 21:11:18
Fawaz will scupper any takeovers unless he gets to cling to some of the club
#fawazout.

5.) 01 Oct 2016 08:18:23
I think PM is both taking his time to identify his best team and realising that too many changes has a negative effect. There are probably 4 or 5 players who he has decided are in his best eleven: Stojkovic, Lichaj, Mancienne, Perquis, and Lansbury. Pereira and Osborn are almost there and Britt when fit would be in.

Todays selection will be telling. Just three changes needed. The first five I mention above should be in. Dumitru and Carayol out and Vellios might replace Bendtner.

Whatever team he picks will find it tough, but many changes will make I tougher.

Who drives a top of the range red 4 door Porsche with Italian number plates and blacked out windows?! One was pulling out of the Wilford lane complex today, with everything that's happening the mind is in " overdrive " regarding the club!

Johnnyv77

1.) 18 Apr 2016 15:26:49
Could be anyone. I doubt any prospective managers would be driving their cars from Italy.

2.) 18 Apr 2016 15:46:01
Berlusconi?

3.) 18 Apr 2016 15:59:42

30 Oct 2015 12:59:45
Tony pulls has said this morning that Claudio Ranieri is taking all the plaudits for Leicester's success this season from The team built by and the spirit instilled by Nigel Pearson, the same man who some on this site said isn't the man to replace DF if he is replaced!

In my opinion he is the only man to step in if we want to avoid relegation and return to the Premiership! If we lose to Wednesday and I can see Preston having a right go at us then " the sacking game " against The sheep will be critical!

Johnnyv77

1.) 30 Oct 2015 15:28:27
There is one massive flaw with your cunning plan. Why on earth would NP or any other decent manager want to work for Fawaz? He would never come to us, same reason McCarthy and others wouldn't . His reputation (Fawaz) is now beyond repair. The club is only just behind Leeds as a circus.

2.) 30 Oct 2015 18:00:53
Pearson, born in Nottingham, likes a challenge but you offer a manager a large pay packet, a 2 / 3 year contract! and a " free hand " next season in the transfer market with enough money and he'll take it! Or you could get excited over Clough signing or one of the other " journeymen " doing the rounds!

3.) 30 Oct 2015 19:04:33
Should have looked at clough before df any way, first when took over the sheep had to get rid of most of the team took him a couple of years but ended up getting them playing he got sacked look what he did at shef fa cup quater final play off place they showed us how to win a match at their place . I'm all for giving Pearson a go though.

4.) 30 Oct 2015 19:35:20
Wonder if Baldrick's avaiable? lol!

5.) 30 Oct 2015 19:39:48
Pleased someone recognised the underlying Blackadder quote. I wonder how long before General Melchett (Fawaz) deals with Captain Darling (DF) .

6.) 30 Oct 2015 21:01:04
If we don't win I fear he'll be "heading for the big bosh into no mans land! " "Behhhhh! "

7.) 30 Oct 2015 22:16:49
One question to all you Fawaz knockers. realistically, where do you think we'd be if he hadn't stepped in? I'm being serious. personnally I'm sure we'd be in league 1 mid table.

8.) 30 Oct 2015 23:51:18
Who's knows where we'd be! we could be in the premier league! Another buyer could have come in and run the club better and taken us to where we aim to be! Or we could be in league 1. It's such a hypothetical question that no one can answer and in all fairness doesn't have a great deal of relevance. It is what it is!

9.) 30 Oct 2015 23:52:43
So where do you think we are heading now Redfenbloke?

13 Oct 2015 21:13:18
If Jonathon Williams isn't in the side from now on then my suspicions are confirmed that DF hasn't a clue! He is running the show and overshadowing Bale for Walws tonight! Involved in everything!

Johnnyv77

1.) 13 Oct 2015 23:04:11
Agree, but we already know he is clueless.

Williams, Vaughan, Lansbury, Mancienne, Burke, Ward, Burke, Grant, Osborn, Teche to return, Cowen and Reidy as well hopefully, not forgetting Ebecillio who at least gives us a laugh during his 10 min cameos, when he fails to touch the ball or make a tackle.....Now he is trying to sign Trotter from Bolton reserves!!!! Crazy!!!

2.) 13 Oct 2015 23:38:55
He needs to get match fit so a good run out tonight sets him up well to feature at Bristol

3.) 14 Oct 2015 08:42:23
All the players listed above are attacking or central midfielders with the exception of Vaughan who isn't the type of player that DF wants/needs to cover the back four. After mancienne went off against hull we had both Vaughan and Lansbury having to drop back so we lost about of our attacking impetus, which wasn't helped by the fact that Ebecillio was either injured or needed a wee.

4.) 14 Oct 2015 10:27:13
Does anyone Know when Britt is back?

5.) 14 Oct 2015 12:12:17
We have to have a fit strong DM to protect the back four before putting in the likes of Burke and Grant who lack the experience to work for the team pattern when we are not in possession.

Trotter or Hammond will do a good short term job to enable the flair players to get game time.

Until then in the short term DF needs to sit Lansbury and Vaughan in front of the defence and play 3 in front with one up top away from home

6.) 14 Oct 2015 16:37:15
Cant agree more with NorthNottsRed why we keep bringing in more and more midfielders i will never know... yeah Mancienne isn't a DM but vaughan is and i'm pretty sure (not positive) that williams can also play in that position?

ive said this and ill say it again i still think forwards are an issue... maybe when oliveira gets going hell be the man to take the strain until britt is back, but who knows if britt will be the same player when he does eventually return (fingers crossed he does)

O'Grady does a great job but has the dexter blackstock role of holding back the defence and letting people drift off him he is not a 20 goal a season man. Walker has yet to show his magic that he had last year in the under 21s and i don't think he is currently ready for a first team start. maybe a 20 mins a game man atm but will be a star one day!

7.) 16 Oct 2015 21:48:31
Gingerkid what you saying now lol keep douggie for next season in league 1 more time lol.

Not bothered what people say, win lose or draw tonight Brazil is not the man, He says they have been working on a few things on the training pitch, well I suggest one of the things wasn't defending after that first goal tonight!

Johnnyv77

1.) 07 Mar 2017 20:34:15
Like ive said before the manager can give all the help and tips in the world but when they're on the pitch it's down to the players to show they know what they are doing. te manager cannot hold there hands when there on the pitch.

25 Feb 2017 20:02:35
Have you just watched Brighton destroy 4th placed. Reading?! For next weeks game . . help!

Johnnyv77

1.) 25 Feb 2017 20:30:10
did you actually watch the game or Just's look at the score line?

2.) 25 Feb 2017 20:49:28
I watch all the games on Sky when I I can and pay a fortune for the privelege! Won with 38% possession but were lethal on the break and if they play like that next week with our cumbersome beck 4 it's " curtains "!

3.) 25 Feb 2017 21:08:31
Brighton are obviously a good team but referees can change the way a game goes, any of our highly payed, talented young players might turn the game.

Who would have thought Bristol City woyld have got a 2-2 at Newcastle.

4.) 25 Feb 2017 21:17:23
Anyone can beat anyone in this league. not Derby at the moment though 😎.

25 Feb 2017 19:00:31
Just like last time Brazil started well then this! Said he wasn'tthe msn to trust and now we are seeing the result! Clough is not a winger, how menu times must he be told! Totally " lost " today!!

Johnnyv77

1.) 25 Feb 2017 19:27:52
Put your phone down drink a pint of water go to sleep and try again in the morning.

2.) 25 Feb 2017 19:35:17
Why always on about fluids, favourite band must be Wet Wet Wet
CARLO.

19 Feb 2017 10:08:09
I said on here that Brazil would do well for a couple of games and then go back to how he performed last time, and received some stick, unfortunately that's how it's turning out! With Wigan ( where we never get snything ), Brighton ( where at home we do the same ) Burton ( who beat a side yesterday who played us off the park last week ) and Wolves ( never easy ), coming up! Teams below us have games in hand and all with the exception of Rotherham picking up points! Brazil, like last time , is not good enough, FAWAZ needs to employ a new msnager like Warburton or give Rowett an offer he can't refuse ( before Birminghsm realise Zola was a massive mistake and ask him to go back )! Knowing our owner he will probably go fo Zola!

Johnnyv77

01 Feb 2017 19:50:47
Clough is an excellent signing, lucky it was Bolton who are in dire financial trouble, coupled with McCormack who if he can find his Leeds / Fulham form is and absolute " steal " ! FAWAZ needs to do a few things to get a few fans back " on side " now, and that's a top prority CEO, and a good scouting system, but the main thing is. Take a " back seat, " and under no circumstances try to interfere, or we will be back pre transfer window!

Johnnyv77

1.) 01 Feb 2017 20:03:32
I have to disagree with the Clough signing, like a lot of players we have had he has talent, but prone to injury.

2.) 01 Feb 2017 20:43:27
just about every other fan are pleased with last night. maybe just maybe things could change god knows we can't continuously have bad luck with injuries.

3.) 01 Feb 2017 20:51:16
I actually think certain fans on here really don't want success for forest because all they do is talk about the negatives never the positive, Clough 21 yrs old had a few injuries so what he's a quality player 21 goals from 50 odd games for a young midfielder I'll take that, our fantastic striker is young he's having a few injuries is it time to right Brett off answer no give the lad a chance Jesus nothing else better to do or a secret sheep in disguise.

4.) 01 Feb 2017 21:26:20
Yes agree only positives to take from yesterday can't think of more positive signings we had this season.

5.) 01 Feb 2017 21:48:54
1966 you will get use to the negative off some fans on here just ignore them they are still living in the late 70s and think we are a guaranteed premiership team you will get use to which ones after a time same chap different day from them.

6.) 01 Feb 2017 21:51:04
Bolton fans think they have been robbed that tells you all you need to know about clough.

7.) 01 Feb 2017 22:05:35
Cheers skegsjay it's just annoying I've supported reds for a long time people either no nothing about football or just do it to annoy people I was a schoolboy at forest I know how hard it is to get a chance, believe me Bolton fans are gutted about Clough he will be a quality addition, one thine is for sure what I saw against Rotherham bereton is going to be top draw.

8.) 01 Feb 2017 22:49:14
Lot of good things said about zach think he will be a top player and still a youngster so can only get better 38 years a forest fan seen its best days and its worse but them signings yesterday gob smacked me really good signings and looking forward to the rest of the season under Brazil and lester hopefully.

9.) 02 Feb 2017 14:23:07
Listening to the guy from the Bolton media regarding Zac Clough, it seems we have a class player at a " knock down " price! He has all the attributes to be a huge success apparently and made a point of his free kicks anywhere near goal which are outstanding! Not my words but someone who watched him on a regulatory basis!

10.) 02 Feb 2017 18:17:12
Jrs1966 I have read one of your posts, in it you state Clough has had injuries and is a talented player. That is what i said.

Yes Fawaz has done some excellent work in the transfer market and it looks promising behind the scenes but that will come to nothing unless he makes a promise to himself mainly and the fans that he will take a " back seat, "'and leave it to the professionals to get on with the running of the club and then he just might get back some respect and who knows success may follow!

Up the forest! From your comments I take it you are still supporting the Kuwaiti! If it's true that the American has let Fawaz hang on to 20% of the club he has already made his first mistake! He should be hounded out asap he has destroyed a once great club!

So the sheep are being critical of a £20 million pound striking threesome are they? ! If that lot click then without going " over the top " we will be threatening the play offs, one team always comes from nowhere especially if we can get that back 4 to click! Maybe too late but we've had enough misery recently so let's start to be optimistic for once!
