Taking penalties is more about power and hitting the target rather than which part of the goal you aim for.
The goalkeeper can get it right where you will place the ball, but if it is hard enough, and off course get on target,the speed will much more often than not beat the goalkeeper.

Redtree, I saw Martins interview on the highlights show this morning, and you are right.
Martin on being told by the presenter i'm no manager and and i would not tell you what to do, but Grabban has missed 4 of his last 7 penalties perhaps someone else should take them Martin said i might agree with you on that.
He went on to praise Grabban for the good game he had which was good to see in my view.

He has missed 4 out of the 7 penalties. Martin has as good as said he will not be taking anymore penalties.
As far as the coaches giving him extra practice, if he did not listen to Karanka and his coaching staff why is he going to listen to Martin and his coaches.
He is a excellent striker, but has a sloppy attitude to penalties.
Go and give Martin the same message if it bothers you so much.

We would be top six if someone had taken those four missed penalties. So it is Grabban's fault not Krankie that this team are not in the top six.
Oh no, it was Karanka that made him the penalty taker then persisted with having a suspect penalty taker! One penalty, hears about the misses and MON decides we need another penalty taker. That was easy. You'd think the old boss was as stubborn as his mentor and couldn't change his mind when wrong.

Jardim plays 4-4-2 but can play 4-2-3-1 and other formations so not scared to adapt as required which AK would not do.

The rumours are that the higher ups wanted Appiah to play more regularly and Karanka accused them of interfering. Then because we aren’t in playoffs he was told no funds in Jan and he’d have to sell to get funds, so he had enough and went.

The problem is that the team have been heading down since the Ipswich match which was the time AK was lost . There was a brief respite at Leeds and then a blip with Wigan and now we are heading due south. This is not the first season this has occurred in recent years. Will MoN be able turn us back I doubt and we will start again in August. A new set of players that will be employed and then when they don’t gell immediately MoN will be sacked. And round we will go again until some one gives a manager time to hell this team
