Meant to say, did NOT get involved enough today.

Okay second half was better. But where is a goal going to come from.
Every season except one since being back in premiership we've been scrapping around the bottom of the league.
Maranaskis decision making has caused all this.
How long does he give Glasner? That's the million dollar question.
Even though there was some positives today it's obvious his style of play does not suit this group of players.
I'm convinced if we had Vito and the way we played last season we would have Beaton Arsenal today. They did not look that good today.
Where do we go from here it's very worrying times yet again.
18 Oct 2026 22:00:22
A tough one to call Collingham
Turned out to be one goal decider and that was deflected
Look. i wouldn't of sacked vitor, but. its happened
Rightly or wrongly, only time will. tell. if marinakis got it right
Just be grateful after:
Scholar
Doughty
Fawsz
That we actually have an owner wanting success no matter the cost.
18 Oct 2026 21:14:23
Munoz was virtually anonymous today. Did get involved enough and no impact on the game. Certainly not worth his massive wages or the decision to bring him to the club. Another Glasner error?
18 Oct 2026 20:46:56
Not been wise after the event, but I twice posted both my shock and disgust at the sacking of Vitor. The man saved us and given the chance he deserved would have taken us to greater things, I am convinced of that. But in comes Marinakis fourteen million pounds a season superstar.
Another massive mistake I fear that could well cost us our prem status. I am grateful to Mariakis for his huge financial input but his crazy sack mad ideas are ridiculous and do nothing to advance our great club. U REDS.
18 Oct 2026 21:09:09
Just thank your lucky stars we can afford such extravagance ?
18 Oct 2026 20:32:22
and Glasner made no comments about team selection which is clearly wrong. Bizarre.
18 Oct 2026 20:55:56
I'm with you on team selection RHR
But suprised me how well it worked
We have to accept that glasner won't deviate from 3 at the back ?
Cuhna made a massive difference today
We are a side that lacks goals though
We also lack that delivery from a set piece
But you have to take on board we were playing the champions.
18 Oct 2026 21:21:19
Good post DTP. I agree, I forgot to mention Cuhna in my earlier post. He was great today and worked his socks off.
18 Oct 2026 20:47:32
As i said to Bowie earlier, Glasner has the personality of ****. ππ³.
18 Oct 2026 21:44:09
So does nuno.
What's your point?
18 Oct 2026 21:53:45
Nuno has an infectious smile, seemed happy most of the time and came across positive. Glasner comes across as that dodgy geography teacher we all had at school, you know the ones i mean, stank of fags and whiskey, patches on the elbows of his 20 year old grey jacket, clearly hadn't been laid in 40 odd years. π³.
18 Oct 2026 22:18:40
Tell us more about your dodgy geography teacher
This sounds very interesting.

19 Oct 2026 10:19:13
Now that sounds interesting Rogie. π€£π³.
18 Oct 2026 20:31:35
Have to say I find Glasner's after match interview on Sky strange. No apology to the fans, no acknowledgment that we have lost the last 3 games, oblivious to the fact that we haven't scored a goal at home all season, noth.
18 Oct 2026 20:06:47
Deserved a point today.
I'm sorry, OG, but I cannot see where a win or a goal will come from.
Mr. M, this is on you, sir: trigger-happy, impatient, fiery, dissatisfied.
With VP, we had goals; with OG, well, that's questionable.
18 Oct 2026 19:51:06
I can't be bothered to wait months then sack him Wrong, wrong, wrong. Glasner out!
18 Oct 2026 20:08:26
Good solid performance today tbh
Defensively great
Set pieces need addressing
Delap mom
Wood why take a touch ?
18 Oct 2026 20:32:33
At last someone who saw it as it was.
Defensively very solid in the first half. Back 5 to stifle the Champions. Our tactics turned it into a 45 minute match.
Second half we had chances to win it also. Very poor corners again and snatching at chances but at least we created.
I've watched some dross this season but that was a battling performance.
One selected shot did for us.
I'm still every much as disappointed as everyone else on here though.
18 Oct 2026 20:58:51
Gazzi never doubt me on watching a game.
18 Oct 2026 19:48:55
Stoic defence today it has to be said - until that cruel deflection for their goal. Also, we didn't fall apart after that for once. Murillo back to his usual form (what an attacking run that was!), McAtee a lot better and Williams trying heroically in both defence and attack. That's all the positives I can think of.
However, I turned off the telly thinking I was glad that I didn't spend good money travelling to watch the game. I thought I would never again see the day when Forest were playing mostly boring, defensive anti-football with 'Route One' as their primary attacking option. I was wrong. I feel sorry for all our loyal fans who turned up to witness that.
Watching the match today reaffirmed two things for me about both our Owner and Manager/Coach:
1. OG may have the 'reputation' of being a good manager, but it will take years and hundreds of millions to rebuild the squad to fit his style of football. That, as we all know, will never happen. So,instead, we play with no width and have our best wingers either on the bench or loaned out to other clubs. Look how different we looked in attack when CHO was brought on in the 85th minute. I'll say that again to drive the point home - after 85 minutes!! OG is not the right fit in any way, shape or form for our great club.
2. OG's appointment shows just how ignorant Mr M is about football and instead obsessed with massaging his own ego. He sacked VP when the guy had us firing on all cylinders to appoint OG when we don't have the players to adapt to the OG way. I hope Mr M is now choking on his wine and olives at his own stupidity and how much his mistake will cost both our club and his bank balance.
Sorry for the rant chaps. I just feel that as loyal, paying fans we deserve so much better from our club management.
18 Oct 2026 20:17:31
Oh dear Who do you think would be better billionaire to do a better job then lego?
We restricted the "champions" to one effort on target and they scored deflected as well.
I pay as a season card holder and remember the previous 25 years ive watched
You're on the stokey bandwagon of marinakis out.
Dangerous to say the least.
18 Oct 2026 20:30:47
While I'm not particularly happy with Glasner, Mr M is a legend, yes he makes mistakes, but so do we all. Just needs to hold his hands up on occasion. π³.
18 Oct 2026 20:44:56
Adding to that, remember, i never lived through the glory days of League and European titles. The short lived Frank Clarke period was what I thought was the glory days. Now under Mr M we have an owner that has given us European football, cup semi finals and Wembley appearances. I genuinely think that without Marinakis we wouldn't be anywhere near the Premier league, his ambition is commendable and younger generations have him to thank for bringing top level football back to the WFCG.
As i said he makes mistakes, one plus for us is he won't tolerate Glasner failing, he will be gone before to much damage is done. So if we stay in the bottom four or five for the next month or so the ejectable passenger seat will be fired and Glasner will be resigned to our history. I honestly believe we have a decent squad so whoever comes in will have the tools available to work with. At this point I'd be in conversations with Thomas Frank or VP(trying to repair the damage) but preferably Frank. π³.
18 Oct 2026 21:04:40
Just when i was agreeing
You put Thomas Frank ? πππ.
18 Oct 2026 21:16:28
Who would you go for then Sparky? Sir Gareth Southgate, Steven Gerrard? ππ³.
18 Oct 2026 21:36:47
Its stick this time winter
No twist mate
While i see the results,i also see beyond that
Ipswich away will be a turning point
To me bad appointment with the squad we had
But same players miss sitters for last few years
Can't pin that on glasner
Wood today and last week terrible from him
Its a case of sticking with it tbh
Theres no point bringing in another coach as half.
our wingers are loaned out
Made the bed of three at the back rightly or wrongly ?
18 Oct 2026 21:55:20
Yeah i see your points, question is will Marinakis in the next few weeks. π³.
18 Oct 2026 19:29:27
First half was like a pre season game. We didn't go at them early on. Arsenal looked nervous and the worst I've seen them play for a while. It all changed after the wrong substitutions - Dominguez was having a good game. Kalimuendo as usual an ineffective joke. When Hudson-Odoi came on we started playing some football - why was he left on the bench.
McAtee's free kick from a great position second half was laughable - hopefully he is dropped and sold. Delap played well with no support also Schlager. Glasner has to go quickly and hopefully a humble apology to Vitor. We have gone backwards and all down to Mr M. Rubbish.
18 Oct 2026 19:46:36
We played the first half like we did under Nuno, compact and organised backing each other up and defending well.
Second half we upped the pace and showed a bit more going forward and lost to a deflected goal with their only shot on target.
Again we squandered chances obviously nowhere near as many as the Palace game but a few. I saw quite a few positives from that game tbf.
Just wished Murrillo buried his chance after all that great work he did to create it.
Roll on Friday, looking forward to the game.

Sels distribution was rubbish, and why didn't woods just put his boot through it when he had the best chance all season. Points are going to be very hard to come back this season.
