So in the end we achieved what we wanted which was to get a third season In the prem.
So I wish dod championship football, no obviously none of us want that. A team only capable of scratching round mid table because we don't want top flight so no point in finishing in the top 6. No we want prem it's just been a fecking head wreck all season, again. Some highs, notably beating top teams and being unlucky in others. And ultimately staying up. So congrats to the team, coach, staff, ground staff, owners 👏 🙌 😀 👍. Also the absolutely astonishing support we get away from home. Also congrats to rhe owners mission completed.
Do I like the prem, no, do I want us playing the best teams in the best atmospheres, in the best league yes. Do I want us realistically milling round mid championship. Uh uh mo way, waited 22 years for this.

I agree CID, I do think the corruption has to be sorted out though, not a mention yesterday of city cheating, just layer upon layer of sycophancy from supposed sports journalists, it’s wrong it really is. Clearly the powers that be are too scared to act upon this, I feel this matter is at the root of folk getting quickly disillusioned with the big league and I get it to be fair to them.

One emerging problem I see for forest is that thinking big mentality, for me we need a season or two of being a solid club without drama and creeping to mid table, you’d like to think we have 10 winnable home games next season - that’s got to to be our aim, we will get the odd unexpected win as well here and there.

Our best hope is finding players like Murillo but for one reason or another 2/ 3 seasons is the longest we will keep them, I don’t see established players wanting to come to us, especially with all the drama that follows us about, in the back drop of that it’s hard to establish yourself and operate an effective recruitment policy. I get we all want the recruitment to improve - surely it can - but it’s not as easy as we might think because you can only sign those who want to come, I don’t believe sanagare wanted to come, I think he wanted a bigger club and doesn’t want to use a struggling premiership team as his springboard, probably feels one more season of big performances for PSV would have alerted such as Spurs, villa, Chelsea etc? The club made him come here and it’s clear he’s not up for it at the moment.

Q. What do our players do now up to June 30?. Just holidays, or waiting for their phones to ring. And Nuno? Don't feel that he is 100% with us!

Superb support again today. We won! But in all honesty the team was set up completely wrong.

Well done forest, 4 away wins, and without the points deduction we could have been comfortable before today. there's a good side in the making but can MR M. keep them together?

The rumour mill is already in motion with spurs allegedly in talks with MGW and arsenal looking at MURILLO, I'm sure we could offload fringe players to raise the money for ffp or whatever it is. mgw elanga and Cho are starting to gel together put a quality sf in the mix and they could take any prem defence apart.

If Nuno is to go, then make it this week. If not give him the transfer window and bring in who he wants. Don't get shut in July not fair on a new manager and not enough time before the new season. Have a great summer all you REDS.

Not his greatest fan when it comes to subs, but he will be given till at least Christmas to show what he can do
Marinakis seems to of changed his stance on the revolving doors slightly, gave Cooper another contract when we were in the drop zone
Only time will tell
End of the day it's an achievement to stay in the premier for two seasons for a club without parachute payment.

There has been much speculation about the squad size, if anything at all happens it needs massive pruning, I could see a dozen players leaving, none would be missed either because they are not good enough or because they are permanently injured! Cooper wanted a smaller squad, so does Nuno, will this happen? Don't expect anything other than more chaos on the transfer front!

Agree Tyke, massive pruning. We are not a charity to the development of African and Brazilian young millionaires! Our performances in away matches are embarrassing and will lead to relegation if we don't sort it out. The following players imo have had there chance and must be sold:
Origi (nothing more to say)
Niakate- not physically up to the PL, not commanding enough, not fast enough.
Neco Williams - tries hard but his skinning at Tottenham and miss in the first 5 minutes against Man City were the last straw for me. If we can get £17M back from Wrexham using patriotism we should snap the Hollywood millionaires hands off. Worth £6M
Danilo - some shocking performances and no contribution in most away games - this is the problem. Not being unkind to the lad but he will easily make a millionaires career somewhere like Holland or Portugal, not in the PL.
Omabamadele - not good enough.
Chris Wood - he could make a contribution and has important goals in him but not at £80K per week - let him go if he and his agent expect more.
We simply have to be ruthless in the interests of this football club.

Kouyate - finished at Premier League level and a fouling machine. His agent is having a laugh.
Toffolo - not his fault but just not enough ability at PL level. Full back is a vital position.

I don’t think Milford was a cheat Freddie, he was actually a good ref but there is no doubt he bottled it that day and in reality so did forest and so did clough - it was for me the first sign his magic was dying.

I was there too and I remember leaving feeling that Clough was now losing his way, we didn’t really deserve to win that day and it’s was the start of him making some awful decisions. Walker out tiler in, only Teddy out bannister and Rosario in beats that! In hindsight I wish he’d have gone after 91 - I honestly feel the yrs in the grave yard could have been avoided had he have gone then.

He did the club a lot of damage in those last two yrs. All this is said with complete respect for the man - someone who touched many lives with his genius - if only he’d have been in his prime today with a premier league forest - what a thought that is! Love ya Mr clough and hope you and peter have a dugout in heaven, sat together, as it should have always been.
