I'm hoping the team soon gels to OGs system,it takes time,i guess the same could be said with man u and spurs,maybe theres a case for the transfers to end july so give players time to get used to any new formations before the start of the season, i personally preferred Vps way which was very entertaining but it's the owners call and I'm all for giving a new manager a bit of time but i dont want to see us in the drop zone fighting for points desperately again and surely a system where there is no room for Hudson is not good enough,what a waste of talent,your thoughts please!

Agree with the transfer window ending before the season starts mate. Been saying it for a long time.
I'd just overwhelmingly, above all else, want stability at the club.
5 managers a season is just a definitive symptom of a badly and chaotically run club.


Mr M could have paid for 2 stadiums with all the compensation he's paid for managers over the years. it's ludicrous and will catch up with the club eventually.

South East bud. Wasn't too long ago with ange we were pi$$ing against the wind. Been on here long enough to agree,give a new manager a chance. But I could see his boring football a mile off and predicted all of this before a ball was kicked this season. Yeah repetitive syndrome from me but it's only coz I care. This isn't forest football we've learnt to love and cherish. Since anderson left its hard to find a hero.

Reason they all look lost mate. As for the rest of ya, pull me down all ya want. I became a lover of this club because of it's rewarding watch. How you lot can still pay must be hard. I'm a geordie, got my excuses for not going. But tbh forest are just so much part of my life. Almost like watching football on a life support and no one has a clue where the lecky meter is. Anyway just my opinion. FTID.

It's a bit late in the day now but whether it be business, sport or pleasure, never change a winning combination.

Some of you have referred to our we played under VP. He came in after the disastrous Dyche and transformed the same players that had been failing. I am an admirer of Marinakis, but why replace a successful manager after the previous 3 failings.


I do think Glasner will get things sorted but why did'nt Mr. M persevere with the first successful manager in a year. I really do hope OG can pull it off as he is a proven manager but after being in business I know you tinker with a winning combination at your PERIL!

DDS is clearly spreading. 22 points from 18 games was certainly disastrous. It's indisputably far worse than 5 points from 5 games isn't it comrades.? The style of play under OG is definitely easier on the eyes too.😇😉🎣.

As for the game itself, I can only point out that the stats bore out what I was seeing. We had 24 shots to their 10, but both sides managed the same number of shots on target (3) and, crucially one goal scored by them.

Also, who'd have thought that OGs famed 3 highly coached and top class central defenders would be undone by a big agricultural hoof from their goalkeeper ( that and a sublime bit of control and finish).

A frustrating afternoon all round, compounded by the VAR decision (that's 2 against us and one for us). It was an accidental foul by Jesus but the smallest of touches on the defenders foot. The lad, to his credit tried to stay on his feet after the initial contact so itv was (just) a right decision.

I know it's immature and counter productive to say I was right pre match in my apprehensions and predictions about yesterdays game, but I was. As I pointed out, they are well organized, were unlucky not to get something at Man City and we read too much in there dismantling by Brighton. From what I understand they did the same against Arsenal yesterday.

On the other hand we had false hopes based on beating a poor Aston Villa team that is in transition and with its best players moved on. I mentioned the Wolves game ( when we had 30 plus shots and nearly lost it) and the first hour of Burnley at home. It turned out to be just like that yesterday.

All this talk by the usual suspects of 3 nils and an easy 3 points ( plus the laughing "meltdown " comment when some excellent posts on here point out the error) are shown to have not aged well. Brilliant posts by the way KTF, Bowie, Keefe, Retty and others particularly Agen.


If it ain't broke don't fix it. We were scoring goals for fun plus players and fans were happy and onside with the football under VP. Don't change your manager 5 times in a season. Look at Farke at Leeds and Herzeler at Brighton. Both given several years. Under Mr M they're lucky to get several months. The reality, folks, is that we haven't scored in 3 home games and have taken 1 point from 9.

I see OG, post match, said he blames the " heaviness” of last season for the tension and nervousness about the club. Also the quietness in the changing room after the game. I would say last season under VP was joyous and fun. The only " heaviness came under OG.

Looking to the future, we have an emotional away game at Palace with something to prove then Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bournemouth and Brentford.
The clock is ticking. As I've asked before, living the Mr M and Glasner dream. how's it working out for y'all?

Very good post stokey, we just didn't look like scoring. Without an end product we have a problem. There keeper handled all our crosses with ease and he's not the biggest keeper I've seen.

I think it was Munmad who correctly and perceptibly pointed out that Delap spent a lot of time out wide and crossing the ball. Obviously forwards have to work the channels and pull defenders out of position but you would want him to be more central.


Incidental to this point and for what it's worth, we not only scored many more goals under VP but also many more from crosses.
Probably because we had wingers and a very good set piece coach as part of VPs team.

Yes all that is true and well said IF you look at the changes Mr M is pushing for at the club he will require Premier and European football nothing less so the pressure on Him and the coach are enormous and I cannot see anyone surviving it till the City ground is built and we get into the Champions league so belt up and enjoy the ride, if we go down will Mr M sell up and buy another club 🤡🤡🤡.

Under VP the players looked like they were enjoying themselves and it showed on the pitch with some good free flowing goal scoring football.

The start of this season the players don't look happy IMO and it's showing in the performances. Nico put in some great performances last season but atm isn't playing up to his normal high standard.

The players don't look happy under Glasner. I get the feeling he's very stubborn and it's his way or the highway. We have seen this before from the team with previous managers. It is early in the season, however I'm intrigued to see who wins this battle the players or the manager. If there even is a battle.

Frank Lampard made a point about VAR which I like, it was a very honest statement - thank you VAR for looking in so much detail to find the slightest of contact! Frank thought it was a goal, his team of coaches thought it was a goal, they even said the defender tripped over himself!

VAR - CLEAR AND OBVIOUS - they need to redefine what that means! Not get Sherlock Holmes in with his magnifying glass.
Forest were poor imo, Ndoy I've said before has zero interest and talent at this level. Jesus far better! CHO sitting on the bench, Aina for company.

Mekacupoftee in midfield, every time he got the ball he had no idea what to do. He had runners (Munoz) down the right flank, but he turned in field every time!
I just feel sick watching this dross of a formation, it has to stop! VP had the lads playing and scoring for fun, other teams supporters were applauding Forest! Not now!

OG might be a good manager/coach, but not for Forest!
Thomas Turtle might be a good manager/coach, but not for England.

This is very early in a season to be doom merchants. Is Arteta going to be replaced as Arsenal were trounced by Brighton. City best Coventry 1-0 the other week. Have people forgotten last week we beat the Villians for the first time in eons.
There is no doubt OG is a class manager he has the CV.

Please give him an ounce of common sense. We may or not see changes. Aina is a good footballer and would have prevented that Coventry goal. I expect Forest to be mid table at Christmas so everyone sit back and allow OG to show us what he is made of.
