So the questions I put to ya all, first of all, I actually think this season has been one of the weakest for a long time, talk about two steps forward 3 x back. In the Premier as a whole. Remember someone posting on here, have ya seen how bad the Championship is. Myself, yup lot more entertaining than most of this lot. But hey "everybody wants to rule the roost, heads gone still trying to fly.
Loved yesterday btw reds from my heart. Mean that. And by no means trying to bring a downer. Say what ya see, wanna see them fingers.
And to add, I'd like ya all to give me your player so far, for season. You know me reds, never without controversy, just truth. Btw my player, hmmmmm probably Williams. Worked hard. Never played dead for time off. True red xx. Oi calm down luv ya all x.

My player of the season, MGW. Grown as a captain, and leads from the front. For me he's up with the best we've had. Matured in his interviews, and a world away from what he was at the start of this campaign.
23 Mar 2026 22:30:21
Neco has been a brilliant, steady performer for us this season. However, my vote will go with Murillo.
24 Mar 2026 02:40:29
Seals, some outstanding saves have kept us in some games and given us vital points.
24 Mar 2026 05:15:53
I simply cannot split Neco, Murillo, and MGW.
All bring different qualities to the team.
24 Mar 2026 08:18:50
Can't split Williams and Milenkovic, but interesting how most are going for defensive players. That's our season so far.
24 Mar 2026 09:16:38
I chose Seals because of how many class saves he made, but then how many goal line clearances has Murillo made this season? It leaves me in two minds.
24 Mar 2026 09:37:52
The Serbinater for me. ?
23 Mar 2026 18:50:18
I don’t know about anyone else on here, but as a football aesthete I’m still purring over MGW’s goal. An interception by young Hutchinson half way in our half, then did very well to slip the two man press and set us going forward.
13 forensic passes later, Spurs, with defence set, were dismantled. The closest any Spurs player got to it was when it brushed their keeper's arm as it flew in.
Superb, controlled counter attacking football at its best.

Yup, gets paid for it, Stokey, bud? Reason we are in the s*** is because of these overpaid players, next.
24 Mar 2026 19:35:40
I wouldn't say Spurs had their defence set. I think they were all over the place. MGW just about had the whole penalty area to himself. Think Awoniyi did well, anticipated the cross and got on the end of it. Hopefully we can have a few more from in the next 7 games.
24 Mar 2026 21:48:08
Monty, mate, by "being set" I meant in terms of being behind the ball and in formation. But they were chasing shadows, and were picked apart after being moved around, with no real injection of pace until CHO, with his run to the byline, and MGW's finish.
Like a coup de grace. Probed and probed over 13 passes to find the weakness. Just magnificent football from the purist point of view.

Spare a thought for Igor Tudor who heard his dad had passed at the game, gents.

Very sad news indeed, Joan.
23 Mar 2026 18:57:52
Terrible for the guy.
23 Mar 2026 19:04:00
Bless the whole family. ?
23 Mar 2026 19:05:52
Really???
Just dreadful news.
23 Mar 2026 20:52:23
Rest in Peace Mario.
All the very best wishes to you and your family, Mr Igor Tudor.
23 Mar 2026 15:57:28
It was a fantastic result and performance by all concerned at the mighty Forest!
I'd also like to thank the Spurs interim boss for taking off the two flying full backs!
COYR.

When we stay up, I reckon Harry Wilson on a free might be a good shout?
Thoughts, fellow Trickies?
23 Mar 2026 19:04:49
I'd happily settle for Wilson in our ranks, Rogie!
23 Mar 2026 19:21:38
I'd happily settle for a good rank lately, Lego. But each to there own. ?
23 Mar 2026 19:22:16
Mainwaring, Pike, and Jones too, Lego. ?
23 Mar 2026 20:09:01
John Le-Mesrurier was one cool customer.
Brilliant actor.
23 Mar 2026 20:54:06
I love John Le Mesurier's final words as he passed away: "It's all been rather lovely."
I hope I can go like that (but not yet, I hope). ?
23 Mar 2026 12:51:34
3 more wins and I think we’re safe. Hopefully they will come against our next 3 opponents Villa and Burnley at home and away to Sunderland
At least Villa game will be on an equal footing recovery wise as they play away at Bologna at the same time as we are in Porto.
And with the way we are playing now I fancy us against anyone atm.
We seem to have a new spirit and fight in the team. Well done lads and a big shout out to VP. ?.

Don't underestimate Villa, mate. I'd take 4 points from them and Burnley. Hopefully decent at Sunderland away, as I'll be at that one. 5 or 6 from them, 3 would be great return.
23 Mar 2026 09:51:51
Brilliant result and great performance well done all.

It was impressive though, Stevie. Fans played their part until we intervened and totally ruined the day.
23 Mar 2026 10:20:36
Gazzi, a bit cringy to me, mate. Not the way to approach a relegation fight, to me. Piled pressure on them for me, but great played into our hands.
22 Mar 2026 22:59:07
Hey Ed001, every time i hear the name 'Talbi' all i think about is his little legs????
{Ed001's Note - he really does though doesn't he?}

Yeah ?, deceptive slow. ?
23 Mar 2026 11:34:29
Deceptively... Even. ?
23 Mar 2026 19:07:36
I've got (extremely) little legs. What's your point, gents?
24 Mar 2026 10:26:33
As Les Dawson used to say "I'm not saying he's short but he's the only bloke I know with turn ups on his underpants." ???
22 Mar 2026 22:07:15
I think winter mentioned this somewhere on the board, but want to reiterate how good Michael Oliver was today, he was strong, and didn’t fall for the theatrics of Romero and co, and was fair and even handed throughout. It was nice to see a good exhibition of refereeing for a change.

Refreshing to praise a ref, isn't it? I thought he was superb, as you mentioned above. He stuck to his guns a couple of times, and kept his cards in his pocket for the most part. Considering what was at stake, he approached the game level-headed. Bonus that Area 51s VAR base wasn't called into action. ? ?
23 Mar 2026 08:09:24
Yes, also all decisions were quickly dealt with that helped the game flow and the players had to get on with the game. He didn't let the moaning players have any say.
23 Mar 2026 08:30:09
I thought it was the best reffing performance all season in our games, home and away, all competitions.
23 Mar 2026 09:20:05
Just seen on YouTube the scenes outside Spurs' ground before kickoff. How on earth it didn't inspire their players on that bus, and then walking out onto the pitch at that magnificent stadium, is quite beyond me. Are they that far detached from reality?
23 Mar 2026 10:27:34
Red Vale, the problem is, mate, Spurs fans are a bit deluded. I can't think of one of their players who would get in our team.
23 Mar 2026 10:56:15
No, I can't either. I'd started to think Spence was turning into a class player, but yesterday he was bang average. Actually, he was worse than that.
22 Mar 2026 20:50:54
I've enjoyed reading your post-game thoughts tonight Reds. Unless I've missed it, I'm also looking forward to reading the match analysis by Chim - the new Creepy!
There is something that I picked up on that I haven't read so far though. Passion. That trait, combined with controlled-aggression in our midfield, I think allowed us to control the show and psyche Spurs out.
Do you remember Sangare and Anderson in a close huddle against two Spurs players with everyone fighting hard to get the ball? Sangare and Anderson were almost tackling each other to keep Forest in possession. I haven't seen passion like that for a while from a Forest team.
Keep this up and we'll be OK.
