Well just left city ground no complaints beaten by a better side hopefully karanka now realises what we need mills has hopefully played his last game he's garbage.

Johnny66

1.) 13 Jan 2018 21:05:59
Well that's a firstjonny.
Give it time,I'm sure you'll get back to normal.

2.) 14 Jan 2018 08:33:53
Mills is a league 2 defender at best, costs us a goal in most games he plays with his awful positioning and anticipation.

3.) 14 Jan 2018 11:21:20
I blame smith for that goal, he just stood and waited for the ball

4.) 14 Jan 2018 11:47:11
I blame the tremendous cross whipped in at pace, always difficult to defend,as arsenal found out with Eric's first last week.

5.) 14 Jan 2018 11:49:13
We should spend everything we have on a keeper and a centre-half. sharpish.

6.) 14 Jan 2018 16:25:11
no22 we haven't got a great deal of money to spend. Sell before we buy

7.) 14 Jan 2018 19:22:39
Well I've seen it hasn't taken yourself that long to be bemoaning the manager after one game but that's was to be expected I suppose πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

8.) 14 Jan 2018 19:49:20
You'll soon be joining in mate?
But let's hope not.
Forgot my red tinted glasses will make me keep the faith.πŸ€“πŸ€“πŸ€“

07 Jan 2018 19:45:56
Well if the arsenal players are moaning about a double touch penalty I think that just proves don't underestimate so called lower league teams because what I saw today is a few experienced players out classed by a decent young side so do one wenger and company and a massive massive well done to everyone connected with our beloved Nottingham Forest today on and off the pitch COYR.

Johnny66

1.) 07 Jan 2018 20:00:25
I'm waiting for arsenal fans calls of match fixing πŸ˜‚

2.) 07 Jan 2018 20:03:21
Well in Johnny, sour grapes 'cos that's their season pretty much over. First team to score 4 against Arsenal from a lower division since 1908. Six shots on target in first half, more than Arsenal have faced all season. Wenger knocked out at first stage, never happened before. Didn't we lend them a kit when they were the Woolwich Gunners, to get them started? Forza Garibaldi. FTID

3.) 07 Jan 2018 20:20:14
Nice scouse. Well done to all at NFFC today. We don't get many days like today so enjoy it boys

4.) 07 Jan 2018 20:44:05
And they will still believe their first was a free kick rather than the dive it actually was 🀣

30 Dec 2017 13:29:10
I see we're being linked with another ranger's player wes fodringham any better than what we already have, NO.

Johnny66

1.) 30 Dec 2017 17:17:23
Yes he is.

Anyway how would you know???!!!!

28 Dec 2017 17:11:01
Just 1 more post on work in progress i can't get my head round this work in progress enlightened me please
Arguably our best player so far this season Keiran Dowell will be off back to Everton in May so can someone please tell how this is progress.

I think off the field it's 100% better, but arguments will occur on here but dowell is superb for us i'm sure Everton will be eternally grateful for is progress, but unless I'm completely stupid which I'm not wheres the progress for us? Keiran will go back to a new contract and fair play to the lad he's top draw but we'll be back to square one to me that isn't progress πŸ˜†πŸ˜†.

Johnny66

1.) 28 Dec 2017 18:07:24
This is the age old argument against loaning young players from big club. If you develop your own player then even if you sell them it is your own club that gets the money. If you pay for a loan player then you lose money and the parent club get the cash or a better player.

2.) 28 Dec 2017 19:23:28
Johnny66, Dowell has been very good but I don't think he has been our best player. He scores some great goals but lacks the physical ability we require in the championship.
Not great on Tuesday and backed out of challenges.
I totally agree with what you are saying and, yes, off field we are a much better place but we are in the championship and need to be physical. Ken Warbo and his diddy men philosophy means we would have to be excellent for 90 minutes which they have rarely been.
We need some scrappers and battlers in the mix but the MW philosophy is pretty fast paced and quick passes so your are spot on, very little progress has been made.

3.) 28 Dec 2017 20:14:20
Totally agree it's a very hard physical league people harp on about passing game me personally I'd rather get 3 points every week or at least scrap for a draw someone mentioned joey Barton type and tbh there right I went to Bristol City aden flint jesus he's a monster but it's that type of physical present required plus a settled side would be a bonus

4.) 28 Dec 2017 20:15:31
He’s not a world beater but he’s better than clough

5.) 29 Dec 2017 00:32:49
Like them both, play them both? Rightly or wrongly we invested over 3 million pounds on the lad and he's being frozen out.

6.) 29 Dec 2017 02:38:31
I feel sorry for Clough though, he did pretty well end of last season after we bought him and scored and assisted in some big goals and moments which kept us up then this season he has barely played and certainly hasn’t had a run in the team due to Dowells excellent form but maybe if he had played more he would have been better!?

7.) 29 Dec 2017 09:57:44
Dowell is very talented but I can't help thinking that we don't play two up front because we have to accommodate him. Sometimes you need to take out a good player to benefit the team.

8.) 29 Dec 2017 16:07:20
Derby seem to do ok with robust rubbish players working hard together.

In fact, they are doing better without their promising young players.

28 Oct 2017 19:31:26
Nice drive home now happy forest fan superb result Dowell different class the lads got a massive future hope Everton see him as surplus to requirements dream on but all the lads superb great result COYR πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘πŸ˜†πŸ˜†.

Johnny66

1.) 28 Oct 2017 22:31:24
You should have said you where driving,I'd have lent you my glasses.
Think you've been dazzled enough for one day.
And it's hi ho we love warbo. πŸ˜™πŸ˜™

2.) 29 Oct 2017 14:29:29
I can see Toffee's recalling by Christmas if he keeps his form up.

3.) 29 Oct 2017 17:54:24
Dowell, awesome can't we just kidnap him? great display.

4.) 30 Oct 2017 12:43:13
Great result but I thought we looked a lot better when walker and the greek guy came

5.) 30 Oct 2017 21:02:18
Vulcan,surely that's against the rules? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

COYR unfortunately Worrall suspension means we have the dreaded mills lol but hope 3 points on the horizon.

Johnny66

1.) 13 Jan 2018 19:06:38
Fair play you Forest fans. trying to lift a lack lustre performance. lucky to get anything from this match.

07 Jan 2018 20:41:44
Total disrespectful by wenger just proves under the right guidance these so called kids are quality whoever takes over I hope he's taking notes players in right positions bereton looks a player when he's up top but I've said it before Vaughan plays we look organised.

Johnny66

1.) 07 Jan 2018 20:51:04
Vaughan is quality. Apart from his bad mistake at the end he was awesome.
His experience is vital in such a young side.
If only he could stay fit.

07 Jan 2018 19:49:31
Just proves possession means nothing 31% possession for the boys today and we are in the next round get in like to play notts county especially if grant and Yates are allowed to play see what we have in depth although I know it will not happen well done to both Nottingham teams and yes Derby unluckily πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜† oh and hopefully your going to lose your manager to the mighty Stoke City COYR.

Johnny66

1.) 07 Jan 2018 20:02:22
Yes, the stats for Arsenal were like we had under Warburton, loads of it, then lose.

07 Jan 2018 17:05:56
Makes a total mockery of MW not playing lichau and people in correct position bereton is making mersataker look stupid not a German international lol COYR.

Johnny66

1.) 07 Jan 2018 17:10:09
Say no more, Warburton was a tool!
Lichaj man of the match perhaps?
Coyr.

2.) 07 Jan 2018 18:04:37
No chance brereton by a mile

3.) 07 Jan 2018 18:38:17
Brereton should have been on the wing! lol

Or what about setting up with 6 in defence and no right winger in the side? That might have got the job done more efficiently, eh Mark?

Anyhow, we just passed the mighty Arsenal off the city gorund turf in one of the best games in memory.

In big Stavros we trust. ;)

4.) 07 Jan 2018 19:43:03
Agreed.... All of them deserve a big huge well done Coyr

5.) 07 Jan 2018 19:44:19
I was against sacking Warburton but really has shown the last two games that his stubbornness to play certain players (Lichij/Cash) and in best positions (Brereton/Traoure/Cash) plus his unwillingness to sometimes just go back to basics and clear Long balls and play over the top was his undoing. Brazil has only made small subtle changes in the last two games but players look more comfortable and solid now. Today was definitely a good advert for the potential we have as a Club to any potential managers!

06 Jan 2018 20:05:46
One thing is for sure notts county have a very very good manager plus grant was excellent today againest a decent championship side today maybe it's time to play our own players and not keep them away from the 1st team picture for the sake of other teams loan players and before I get slated I do rate Keiran Dowell who's been superb this season, just like to see our own talent players 1st in line ie Zach Clough Jorge Grant etc
COYR tomorrow let's have a right good go and get in Monday's fa cup draw.

Johnny66

1.) 06 Jan 2018 20:29:04
Notts fans I know are more impressed with Yeats saying he's a great team player and 100% good at breaking up play.
They love grant as well and who wudnt with all those goals.
They just think he has more potential long term.
Personally prefer Dowell was left out tomorrow and put clough in.
Looking forward to it anyway just wish it could have been today.
Trains are crapp on a Sunday so it's going to be a long day.

2.) 06 Jan 2018 22:57:40
Yes I appolise yeats should have been included in do know how much the lad is rated by fans and Nolan maybe it's a really good idea to put young lads to our neighbours while Nolan is in charge he's obviously improved both these players it's funny I read about 2 of the biggest clubs in Europe Monaco and dortmand wanting to sign a u18 whom I personally havnt heard of someone obviously we are doing things correctly

3.) 07 Jan 2018 17:00:53
Who is yeats? I'm sure he was an author? Hmm πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Not a surprise, he's basically just retired a German international I'm sure he'll be linked with a few teams hopefully we'll keep hold of him he's potentially a top draw striker. I'm pretty sure karanka will want to keep hols of all our young up and coming players

I wasn't a MW fan but come on chaps give him a break he ain't that stupid to get involved in fraud as for our chairman people saying we don't have money to offer certain types of manager well go on money lists he's a very very wealthy man I personally think it depends on how far he personally sees where our club can go he's thrown money at club level in Greece maybe he might do the same only time will tell

Put things in perspective, people saying Gary Brazil had 2 games. we drew with a side that's lost 3 out of its last 4 games including Newport County and we beat Arsenal reserves which was a fantastic day for us all, but get real.

MW had no plan b after 10 months we where beat by a better side if you can say Sunderland where better when we lost 0 - 1 then you need to get your MW rose tinted glasses out πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
