RUMOUR:

Apparently Napoli want Ndoye. They are interested in a swap deal for Lorenzo Lucca.

Lucca looks like a Wood replacement to me.

Believable2

09 Jan 2026 00:16:16
For background, Napoli were trying to sign Ndoye from Bologna when we got him.

Agree3

09 Jan 2026 02:48:21
If we must, rather have Lucca than Strand Larsen, more realistic owing to PSR.

Agree2

09 Jan 2026 11:02:40
It states forest have told napoli that they don't intend to sell Ndoye
Lucca is only on loan at napoli from udinese so any deal would be complicated.

Agree1

09 Jan 2026 18:30:29
IF Napoli want rid and Udinese want money, it won't be that hard. I saw a rumour he doesn't want to come to England at this stage of his career, but again, money talks.

He does look like a Wood type player to me. If Wood is going to get fit soon, we don't need him. If Wood is not coming back soon, we definitely need a player like this.

Agree1

09 Jan 2026 18:53:44
Think there is more chance of signing larsson from wolves cyclist.

Agree0

09 Jan 2026 19:44:35
If they aren't prepared to loan out Larsson, I don't think we have the money unless we sell.

Who are we selling this window? If nobody, then I'd expect a loan.

I don't think Larsson is going to take us to another level so why get lumbered with him permanently if we aren't in danger of going down?

Agree1

09 Jan 2026 22:29:30
No striker will cyclist
The problem lies with tactics.

Agree0

11 Jan 2026 09:15:41
Nobody edu brings in will help thus team not so much about tactics it's the rejects we bought in cheers edu 😁.

Here you go gents, a new year gift for many of you. The Telegraph are reporting that Edu Gasper is in line for the chop. Apparently Mr M is completely and utterly disillusioned with his transfer policy. 🌳.

Believable14

06 Jan 2026 10:30:58
Good news Robin but Mr M bears enormous responsibility for recruiting Edu which has put us in great danger of the drop. His decision caused Nuno to down tools and has landed SD with several mediocre players at enormous expense.

Along with the decision to appoint Postacoglau it’s a mess to sort out. The buck stops at the top……I bet the big man doesn’t run his shipping business like he runs Forest….

Agree4

06 Jan 2026 10:43:25
How would you prefer Stokey? Sack the owner? The same owner who shows huge passion for our club and has sunk the best part of a billion into our coffers, not forgetting bringing us from bottom of the championship to the promised land. 🌳.

Agree4

06 Jan 2026 11:48:10
Robin, I’ve consistently praised Mr M. s passion and commitment but he far from perfect and I call out his numerous and expensive gaffes as well. Obviously you can’t sack the owner but I’d prefer owners such as Villas for example as a well run club.

Surely, even with your rose tinted glasses you can see that he’s made us a laughing stock and a basket case of a club? Edus appointment is one of a long line of really p’ss poor decisions.

Agree2

06 Jan 2026 12:06:10
I know mate, i'm just being awkward🌳.

Agree0

06 Jan 2026 13:07:40
Me too mate. It’s a select club…. 😂😂😂😂😂.

Agree0

07 Jan 2026 19:03:20
I have supported Forest for nearly sixty years I can't remember when my dad first took me to a match but many times I wasn't old enough to understand but my mum's family were all magpies so he instilled it into me and my brothers before anyone else could change our minds. I can't remember when we had a chairman that weren't complained about.

Unless we have a pocket deeper than EM we can't affect that. I see the amount of money and effort EM has given as pretty unique. He will make mistakes like Ange but he put his hand up to that and paid from his own pocket, I can't understand the constant criticism this is our most successful period post BC.

Agree6

08 Jan 2026 18:08:50
Great post Cyprus and totally agree
It's not the clubs money or ours, but the constant whinging bellies belief.
Best owner the club has ever had and will deliver a new stadium aswell
But all they are interested in is edu out, top of page says it all
I want to be first? 🤣🤣🤣.

Agree4

11 Jan 2026 09:14:39
Your right Cyprus thanks to nuno it his our most successful period and we all should be enjoying this season. Cheers edu 😁.

Has anyone actually seen anything concrete as to us being linked with a decent Striker in this window? As far as I've seen we're not even being linked to anyone which is extremely concerning as Kali has his medical booked with Eintracht.

If Taiwo or Jesus picks up a knock we're fooked and just looking back on that statement is even more concerning. Let's rely on two players that couldn't score in the Amsterdam red light district. 🌳.

Believable3

05 Jan 2026 23:09:12
Lorenzo Lucca.

Agree2

06 Jan 2026 00:14:42
Bingo, you win Cyclist. Please tell me something exciting about him to get all our hopes up. i'm holding out for his Peter Crouch robot celebration🤣🌳.

Agree1

06 Jan 2026 10:40:23
It was obvious in pre season that we couldn’t score goals and foolish to rely on a 34 year old striker in the twilight of his career, excellent though Woody has been for us. It was also obvious that Taiwo was fading fast with his serious injury problems. I never rated Kilimuendo except perhaps as a squad player for the Europa ( he never looked fit to me).

Jesus is a grafter and will come good but a bit light weight for our style. We need a big lad up top to give us options and put away some of those crosses like Woody used to ( although the latter was a superb all round finisher on the ground as well.

Agree1

07 Jan 2026 20:03:39
Lorenzo Lucca looks like a pretty good prospect 6'7" and looks good with the ball at his feet, his arial threat is something we are really missing. His stats aren't great but looking at some of his videos he seems far more capable than anything we have at the moment.

Agree1

02 Jan 2026 13:48:54
Kali has left on loan!
That leaves Jesus and Awonyi?
Hmmmmm 🤔.

Believable1

Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal with Eintracht Frankfurt for striker Arnaud Kalimuendo to leave the club just months after he joined, according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.

Agree2

02 Jan 2026 14:43:53
Sean Dyche seems to take against certain player's and doesn't give em a far chance, did the same to O'Brien at Everton. If Kalimuendo has left can only think someone's lined up to come to us.

Agree2

02 Jan 2026 20:43:00
Rumour has it that Kalimuendo was not a great trainer which, on 40 grand a week, would get up my nose as well Mossy! ☹️.

Agree2

02 Jan 2026 21:58:05
The problem is Stokey, John Robertson wasn't great at training, the great players usually had an adversion to it, mentioned a few in a previous post, not saying Kalimuendo would be anywhere near there greatness, but Sean Dyches mantra is a player has to do the "Hard Yards" yet the team looked shattered against Everton.

Agree4

03 Jan 2026 11:38:45
Kalimuendo on the bench today, seems he can be in two places at once🤣🌳.

Agree4

07 Jan 2026 18:55:30
Clough was a one off and allowed players to have a cigarette at half time let the go out on the pi55 so long as they performed when needed so Robbo was also a one off over weight and unfit but his performance on the pitch didn't suffer.

Agree0

07 Jan 2026 20:20:18
Fair enough but Kalimuendo is no John Robertson. He was in a League of his own mate!

Agree0

02 Jan 2026 09:53:05
RUMOUR: Eds, is this likely to be possible?

This is a big one.

Consequently, the manager could be left a little light on options at striker, meaning he may need to bring in a new option, and Nottingham Forest have now made contact over a deal for Wolverhampton Wanderers star Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Strand Larsen is now deemed likely to exit Molineux this month, given that the Old Gold are almost certainly going to be relegated from the Premier League, and Forest have now lodged an initial enquiry.

A deal could be on the expensive side, however, with it being revealed Wolves are planning to hold out for a fee of £40m, and forking out the full asking price would make the Norwegian the most expensive signing in Nottingham Forest's history.

Expect a loan with obligation to buy so no big initial fee is needed.

Will this happen if we don't let one name go? It might be with a loan then buy option.

Believable1

{Ed001's Note - he is keen to leave Wolves, he is still unhappy about a move to Newcastle breaking down. The two parties are looking now to move him on, as Wolves have realised keeping an unhappy player was a mistake.

Echoes of Gibbs-White perhaps?}

02 Jan 2026 10:40:50
We are desperate for goals right now. MArinakis should be on the phone now (when he's finished lining up Brendan Rogers to take over when Dyche loses to Villa and Nuno's West Ham).

Agree1

02 Jan 2026 12:04:35
I think Rogers has taken a job in Saudi?, Mendes is having a big say in purchasing players it seems at West Ham, is Mendes Larsen's agent, not checked, but read they was interested in him.

Agree2

02 Jan 2026 13:58:57
If Kalimuendo is really off to Frankfurt, we must be lining up a striker.

Agree1

02 Jan 2026 19:01:56
What's the fetish with Rogers cyclist?
He's not available anyway, so makes no difference.

Agree1

31 Dec 2025 14:30:33
Think we need to accept that Chris Wood is not going to play for us again we need a big strong number 9 I’ve mentioned Sam Surridge and think Evan Ferguson could be a player given his chance.

Believable4

31 Dec 2025 16:10:54
Posted on 15th Dec about trying for Evan Ferguson, mind I also posted McAtee might improve, but maybe Leeds problem come January?.

Agree4

06 Jan 2026 19:36:15
Sam Surridge he's a championship player no?!

RUMOUR ROUND UP:

According to the information of Manchester City insider ‘Tolmie’s Hairdoo’ on X, the Etihad Stadium club remain confident that they can secure Nottingham Forest and England international midfielder Elliot Anderson – and are in no rush ahead of the summer.

According to La Repubblica, Milan have placed the out-of-favour Morato on a shortlist of defensive targets for the January transfer window.

Nottingham Forest have identified Brighton's 20-year-old English midfielder Jack Hinshelwood among a number of possible January transfer targets. He is a DM or RB and England U21 international. Right profile for Forest but listed as £24M on Transfermrkt.

Believable1

31 Dec 2025 14:36:01
Oh, Hinshelwood is listed as €24M so about £21M.

Agree0

29 Dec 2025 11:33:16
RUMOURS:

Nottingham Forest’s Arnaud Kalimuendo has ‘suddenly’ emerged as a target for Eintracht Frankfurt in the winter market. Bild state the Bundesliga side are now optimistic they can secure the 23-year-old’ services in January. This could likely be related to his situation with Sean Dyche’s side.

If Dych prefers Awoniyi, he's nuts. But if he does and Wood is out, we need to bring in a striker so maybe Kali needs minutes and we need cover so.

Josh Mulligan (RB, CM) : Capable of playing either right-back or central midfield, Mulligan has emerged as a key performer for David Gray’s side. Leeds United and Nottingham Forest have been mentioned as two Premier League suitors but now Celtic are looking to get in on the action.

11 clubs are looking at McAtee including Chelsea.

Believable4

29 Dec 2025 13:59:59
If we can get our money back on McAtee the worlds officially gone mad🤣🌳.

Agree5

29 Dec 2025 22:35:51
I will come up from Essex and drop him off if we can get are money back 😆.

RUMOUR:

Breno Bidon has been a regular for Corinthians over the past few seasons, despite his young age. The 20-year-old is now attracting interest from Nottingham Forest, and Manchester United links.

The midfielder played over 50 times in the 2025 campaign. He also started in the Copa do Brasil final at the weekend, helping Corinthians beat Vasco da Gama over two legs. He is quite a versatile player who can play deep in midfield but also in the wide areas.

€20M fee.

Believable1

16 Dec 2025 21:55:28
Looking like spurs will listen to offers for jonno?
Love to have him back.

Believable5

17 Dec 2025 09:07:48
We wouldn't have to drop anyone out of the squad if we sign him as he counts as a home grown at your own club player.

Agree6

17 Dec 2025 10:52:36
I’d have Johnno back. Depends on how young Bakwa shapes up when he gets a proper chance. Especially with Ndoye out of form. First choice wingers are CHO and Hutch so Johnno will have to wait his chance.
The only problem I can see is that Johnson Senior would have to invest in a new scarf 🧣! 😊.

Agree8

17 Dec 2025 12:11:56
Just shows, the first team who bid for Johnson was Brentford, not necessarily wanted by Frank?, yes I'd have him back, still young but know has Premier league and European experience.

Agree4

17 Dec 2025 13:43:07
Would be a great fit for our side, has got goals in him, would be welcomed back into the club with a far stronger squad than he left. Must admit the last couple of games young Hutchinson has impressed me, not only with offensive work but tracking back also. Also Elanga struggling to impress, he will be the next one muted for a move.

Agree6

18 Dec 2025 14:15:44
The Spurs fans I've spoke to don't like jonno at all. Even though he was their top league goal scorer last season. From the wing. I don't understand football fans sometimes.

Agree4

18 Dec 2025 19:12:29
My thoughts are that he's learned his trade as a winger, I niw believe both he and CHO could play as deep strikers and use their pace through the middle, like I say would love to have him back
Ndoye I think we would get our money back as a lot of italyeamz would be interested
To me sell ndoye and get jonno back.

Agree3

18 Dec 2025 19:12:44
I think Spurs will want to make a profit on him and he cost them £48 million odd. So it will upwards of 50. I'd look elsewhere.

Agree3

19 Dec 2025 09:55:06
I’m not so sure after his spell at Spurs his value has gone down rather than up. If he’s not getting games he will want out. Would be a great player in our squad, would get more game time at Forest.

Rotating CHO, Hutchinson and Johnson would give us real options. Dan Ndoye has struggled, made a bright start but has for some reason not established himself.

Agree4

19 Dec 2025 10:25:18
Ravers, I don’t think they’ll get their £48m back on Johnno mate. They’ll be lucky to get half that back. Could be a good loan deal with option to buy for us in January?

Agree4

19 Dec 2025 18:54:06
I'd go with that Stokey. Hopefully, he has realised that 'the grass isn't always greener on the other side'. I reckon his heart is still with Forest.

Agree1

19 Dec 2025 20:22:17
He could be open for a return, he not going be first choice at spurs with Kudus there. The squad forest have got now is better than when he left. Reckon a bid of 35m would be enough for Spurs to think about it. Reckon villa will make a move though.

Agree2

20 Dec 2025 16:32:20
I know think Elanga will come back to us, and Anderson will return to Newcastle, and we get about 50 million profit!. I think Elanga made a mistake and Anderson would love to return home, unfortunately it means Johnson ends up at Palace or Bournemouth 🤷.

Agree0

20 Dec 2025 22:42:31
Never understood why Eddie howe so desperately wanted elanga?
He had Murphy, Gordon, and Harvey Barnes already and has now made him 4th choice
Ruining his career but has a nice wage coming in.

Agree1

22 Dec 2025 17:13:12
If Anderson does leave, I don't think it will be for Newcastle.
I think his ambitions are much higher that them.
Liverpool, Man City or Real Madrid is his destination imo.

Agree1

{Ed001's Note - I hope you are right with your first suggestion! Fantastic player who would improve pretty much any team in the world.}

22 Dec 2025 19:22:48
If Ando goes i can see it being to Arsenal, he would suit their system and style. 🌳.

Agree0

10 Dec 2025 20:01:32
Samu Aghehowa is a player heavily linked with the club, a 6ft 4in striker with immense strength and composure bagging 3 goals of 4 games for Porto the 21 year old is a strong candidate for that Dyche style of play.

Believable3

10 Dec 2025 23:36:45
Just seen West Ham are interested in Rio Avenues Clayton Fernandes Silva, may be worth scuppering that deal and try to get him ourselves seeing as Marinakis owns the club we should have a chance, so long as Mendes isn't his agent!.

Agree1

12 Dec 2025 15:48:04
Samu is a fantastic prospect who will go to one of Europe's big clubs unfortunately. Most likely a huge fee also, think he has a buyout in the range of €90 mill. Already a full Spain International. 🌳.

Agree1

13 Dec 2025 14:42:40
If we get anyone in January it will be loans, and they need to have played in the Premier, like Dewsbury Hall at Everton, the right player really can benefit the team. Not a time to experiment with foreign players with potential, we have enough of them!.

Agree0

15 Dec 2025 08:24:13
Wouldn’t mind us getting Connor Gallagher on loan with the option to buy. Would be good business.

Agree2

15 Dec 2025 11:34:00
Gallagher is a good shout, competitive and full of energy, Evan Ferguson is supposedly going back to Brighton in January, more risky but the right coach may get his form back?, but if McAtee could get his head right, there wouldn't be a need for many re-enforcements.

Agree2

RUMOUR:

"According to the Daily Mail, Murillo is now open to a departure from Forest, but not until the summer.

It’s claimed that he’s considering his next steps, with Real Madrid and Chelsea seemingly the favourites to sign him.

Evangelos Marinakis will be standing firm though, with any accepted deal for Murillo likely to exceed the £55 million that Forest received for Anthony Elanga from Newcastle. "

Believable1

10 Dec 2025 10:02:55
Likely to be at least double Elengas imo🌳.

Agree2

10 Dec 2025 10:17:00
From madriduniversal website:

In the aftermath of Eder Militao’s latest injury setback, the conversation around Real Madrid has shifted quickly from their disappointing 0–2 defeat to Celta Vigo to the club’s urgent need to reinforce their backline.

The Brazilian defender is expected to be sidelined for an estimated four months, a development that has forced the club’s recruitment strategy back into the spotlight and raised questions about how Los Blancos plan to go through the remainder of the season.

According to reports from AS, Real Madrid have now placed Nottingham Forest centre-back Murillo on their shortlist of defensive options.

Agree1

10 Dec 2025 10:17:15
Should be £100M, no question.

Agree2

10 Dec 2025 20:04:00
If we get any more than £90M that is at least a 600% profit margin.

Agree1

10 Dec 2025 23:44:53
Seeing how we perform without Murillo, I wish he would stay but he will leave, so we should get what he's worth to Forest, 100 million+, and hope we can get another gem like him!.

Agree4

18 Dec 2025 13:12:09
The media will always jump on this and I know we will struggle to hold on to him but to say he's actively looking would only be agents talk.

Agree1

19 Dec 2025 19:02:56
I'd hate to see Murillo go - but my gut feeling is that if an offer came in around £70-80M, and he wanted to go, Big M would let him go.

Agree0

03 Dec 2025 19:19:25
Murillo played left back, Hutchinson starting tonight, makes you wonder if Sean Dyche is looking on this site 🤔.

Believable2

04 Dec 2025 07:33:38
We told him he needed aerial presence in the box vs Wolves.

Agree2

04 Dec 2025 14:54:52
Just in case he does, Sean play Yates more from the start👍.

Agree2

04 Dec 2025 15:35:41
If I see him in the pub, I'll tell him people on here have been wanting Yates to start.

Agree1

05 Dec 2025 18:15:17
Cyclist and Mossy, if I thought Sean Dyche paid any attention at all to this site, I’d recommend he gets sectioned under the Mental Health Act. If he wasn’t mad when he started he certainly would be after a while ……😂😂😂😂😂🤪🤪.

Agree2

05 Dec 2025 22:04:11
He'd be fast asleep after one of your story's that's for sure stokey and wonder where his bedsheets have disappeared to 😁🤣🤣.

Agree1

06 Dec 2025 11:42:36
😂😂😂😂.
