Well I've had enough of this Glasner tripe already. Glasner ain't no messiah, his Palace side finished one point and one place above a struggling Forest side who only picked up when Vitor took over the reins. Enough of this three at the back and wing back nonsense, it ain't working! And why oh why keep on playing the Swiss pretender Ndoye in front of Jesus? The tempo up front shifts up a gear when Igor replaces him! Shocking, boring, unentertaining tripe served up by an Austrian gooch! Says it all when we get done at home by the whipping boys who had zero goals and zero points til they played us.

Massive shock, not! I for one am definitely not living no Glasner dream! And i still don't like his smarmy face and hairstyle the whispering idiot.

My Mrs is well pleased with the way Forest are playing, because I've told her I'm not watching them again until the wing backs system is gone for good. But as a caveat to that, Ndoye has to be dropped altogether, with Jesus or CHO brought it!
Sky Sports already cancelled, can't watch that crap again!
Next game Palace away I believe, oh dear, another slap in the face for OG.

Yes my Sky sports is going, will listen on the radio in future easy to turn off and do other things Forest have lost their way last season started it all the changes have destroyed the confidence of the players and Fan base. We are a shadow of the club I knew OG will go the same has the others and you will all be on rinse and repeat again!!. The new set has left us open to the long ball so we will more goals like the Coventry one and no wingers WHAT THE F*** IS THAT ALL ABOUT. Enjoy the ride lads, 🤡🤡

We have an owner who given a 50/50 choice on a football decision will always pick the wrong one, always! I don't know if Glasner will work out but Mr Marinnakis will always pull the trigger sooner than later, god forbid we had some stability for one season.

I really hope I'm wrong about OG. I am obliged to always support the incumbent Forest manager. But, sometimes, I feel like the Biblical Jeremiah, the prophet derided in his own land for his visions of doom. ( which did in fact come to pass).
I've said the many times on here ( and elsewhere) that I suspect OG only became available when he'd burnt his bridges with Palace and missed out on the top jobs at Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea.
Contrary to the myths on here, though he's undoubtedly a good manager, he's no Messiah as you say. VP has actually won more trophies than him. When VP was sacked Forests form, extrapolated over the season would have put them in the top six. His goals for and against in the top 4, second only to Man City.

The players and fans were happy and the football great to watch. All without a pre season or a transfer window, unlike OG.
I wasn't impressed by Palace when I saw them under OG at the WFCG when they were outplayed by our ten men for the majority of the game after Nicos brain fade.
Let's not even mention the Macclesfield Cup debacle eh?
OG won't change his system even though it makes our wingers ( such as CHO) redundant. We were scoring for fun under VP, now we haven't scored at all at home in 4 games, League and Cup. Certain people are on here seem to be over the moon because we beat a Villa team which is "in transition " ie missing its 5 top players.
As I said, I really hope I'm wrong.

I appreciate your posts Stokey, however in life we can have no ‘if only'. You cannot go back. OG will be with us I believe till the end of the season and I hope beyond. This club needs stability in large doses if it is to start to move forward. Managers of our esteemed club have not done well following their dismissal. OG may have aimed higher and is potential wage packet may have turned his eye.

He is young manager who will have aims that he does not want dashed by an under achieving team of his. He will want success. Until the Coventry debacle, OG was beginning to turn a few heads on this site. He had faith to come here as he liked what he saw. So let's be patient and see what happens against his old club.

Thanks Stokey👍, Agree about Vitor getting the sack, everything was looking alright, players seemed happy and no discontent in the supporters, may have been a bit of spite on Mr Marinnakis part after Vitor left Olympiacos on his terms?. Mr Marinnakis may be having big headaches in his business outside of football, and at this time Forest are taking a back seat in his thinking, that's could be the reason we paid 50 mil for DeLap(could be great?) and Brighton brought Kostolas for 29mil and is producing man of the match performances for them, can't be Mr Marinnakis was thinking right to sanction that move.

I entirely agree Nuno about stability above all things and I really hope Glasner turns it around.
The real problem is our owner. Whilst he puts the money, passion and ambition into the club, his Darth Vader management and recruitment style stops us from achieving. 5 managers in one year is abysmal and doomed, ultimately, to failure.

🤦, gives Glasner a chance to watch videos of the players he's got not the players he would like them to be,something Mr Marinnakis does listens to is the supporters, if they start to go against a coach he gets rid, that's why we went though more coaches than Skills!, we are the laughing stock of the Premier concerning changing managers we have to give Glasner a proper chance, the Premier is a marathon not a sprint, at the season's end this could be a bad blip in form hopefully.

Noticed the highlighted thoughts of A1 on news none stop lately. For me it wouldn't be more obvious than some kinda fix on football than the legendary taylor/ clough.

There were always rumours that Bolam was a difficult man to work with and he fell out big time with Bewes.
I saw Rodney Bewes on stage at the Nottingham Playhouse many years ago, I believe in a John Godber comedy but I can't remember which one. I don't think he did much TV after the Likely Lads.
The episode I remember mostly was were they couldn't get tickets to see Newcastle Utd and spent the entire programme avoiding knowing the score so they could watch it on MOTD later.

The avoidance went to the extent of hurrying past the TV shop in case it was on and giving a fiver to a friend they met unexpectedly who began to tell them something about the game but to cut him off via the bribe.
The denouement was revealed at the end. The match had been abandoned due to heavy fog on the Tyne, which is what the bribed friend had been trying to tell them.
Things were much gentler back in those days.

I'm hoping the team soon gels to OGs system,it takes time,i guess the same could be said with man u and spurs,maybe theres a case for the transfers to end july so give players time to get used to any new formations before the start of the season, i personally preferred Vps way which was very entertaining but it's the owners call and I'm all for giving a new manager a bit of time but i dont want to see us in the drop zone fighting for points desperately again and surely a system where there is no room for Hudson is not good enough,what a waste of talent,your thoughts please!

Agree with the transfer window ending before the season starts mate. Been saying it for a long time.
I'd just overwhelmingly, above all else, want stability at the club.
5 managers a season is just a definitive symptom of a badly and chaotically run club.


Mr M could have paid for 2 stadiums with all the compensation he's paid for managers over the years. it's ludicrous and will catch up with the club eventually.

But I could see his boring football a mile off and predicted all of this before a ball was kicked this season. Yeah repetitive syndrome from me but it's only coz I care. This isn't forest football we've learnt to love and cherish. Since anderson left its hard to find a hero.

Reason they all look lost mate. As for the rest of ya, pull me down all ya want. I became a lover of this club because of it's rewarding watch. How you lot can still pay must be hard. I'm a geordie, got my excuses for not going. But tbh forest are just so much part of my life. Almost like watching football on a life support and no one has a clue where the lecky meter is. It's a bit late in the day now but whether it be business, sport or pleasure, never change a winning combination.

Some of you have referred to our we played under VP. He came in after the disastrous Dyche and transformed the same players that had been failing. I am an admirer of Marinakis, but why replace a successful manager after the previous 3 failings.


I do think Glasner will get things sorted but why did'nt Mr. M persevere with the first successful manager in a year. I really do hope OG can pull it off as he is a proven manager but after being in business I know you tinker with a winning combination at your PERIL!

As for the game itself, I can only point out that the stats bore out what I was seeing. We had 24 shots to their 10, but both sides managed the same number of shots on target (3) and, crucially one goal scored by them.

Also, who'd have thought that OGs famed 3 highly coached and top class central defenders would be undone by a big agricultural hoof from their goalkeeper ( that and a sublime bit of control and finish).

A frustrating afternoon all round, compounded by the VAR decision (that's 2 against us and one for us). It was an accidental foul by Jesus but the smallest of touches on the defenders foot. The lad, to his credit tried to stay on his feet after the initial contact so itv was (just) a right decision.
