Anybody else on here dislike the 5:30 kick offs?
Can't settle to do anything, hanging around until I get in the car mid afternoon, pre match rituals and superstitions disrupted.
I'm going to distract myself by booking tickets for shows next year.
Jack Dee, Leo Sayer and Don McClean in Manchester, then see if we can scrape a ticket for Art Garfunkel somewhere in the UK.
Saw Paul Simon on the Graceland Tour with Ladysmith Black Mombasa and Hugh Masekela but never seen them together sadly.

Then a few after. Love these 5.30 kick offs.
Really enjoyed Spurs/ Villa too. Good teamsπ

Tuchel has proved that his selection of Henderson was a joke and an even bigger joke is the omission of MGW from the squad and the inclusion of Eze who hasn't kicked a ball this season SHOCKING
Tuchel out.

At least there's less chance of him injured!

Predictions for tomorrow fellow Reds.
I personally don't think it's going to be as easy as some on here think. They gave Man City a hard time in Manchester and before Brighton ended up dismantling them the Seagulls keeper made 2 or 3 world class saves.
They have the lowest of low low blocks which will need patience to break down.
They intermittently look good going forward but have an error prone defence, as the stats show.β
Id take any sort of a win. I still have nightmares about our nil nil against Wolves last season and the narrow one nil win at Molineux.
Also, the first hour against Burnley at the WFCG.
18 Sep 2026 12:24:02
If we play like we did at Villa in the second half, I can see us getting 4+ goals, not to disrespect Coventry but they really look shell shocked and Glasner could give a few players a chance?, Coventry will bring plenty of vocal support should add to the atmosphere. UREDS.

Evening all (just realised, that wasn't aimed at you Stokey!)
Not posted for a while. Hope everyone is well.
If I was OG, I'd be making sure that we get at them from the first whistle. Really pressure them from the off. Don't let them get a foothold in the game at all.
As you said Stokey, they actually had some good chances against Brighton. They are quite weak at the back, so an early goal would be good! And if they get one, go straight after them again!
I'm old school and reminisce when it was like that under Clough and Taylor though! I was a bit too young for the European Cup times (Midweek Sport Special was how I saw that!) but from 83 onwards (when my mum started to allow me to go at 13) in the Trent End, I remember the many times when it was wave after wave of attacking intent!
Great times, and yes, I know those days are long gone, but I hope more than anything that we can get exciting football (in general, not just Forest) back again one day.
Apologies, this turned into'those were the days' type thing!
Definitely need to back up last weeks win at Villa!
COYR!

Missed ya Arizona bud, remember Mary Hopkins playing centre half, great chant. Those were the days my friend, (Obviously joking) for me,my friend (hang on again) π€£ the games just losing it's soul. Drowned in owners and players lard. The fans overpaying whether to live games or sky.
The 60s onwards for me watching Newcastle before forest, was a togetherness built on friendship and laughter. Goose bumps and hatred. But you got home, knackered. But just so looking forward to the next high. Anyway just my opinion bud.
18 Sep 2026 21:22:54
Welcome back Arizona mate.
18 Sep 2026 21:52:28
Cheers Bowie and Rogie.
I get exactly what you mean Bowie mate. Oh, and made me p*#* the Mary Hopkins line bud!
Hope you are both well, and hope you're enjoying your retirement Bowie mate.
18 Sep 2026 22:09:15
Bless ya Arizona loving it bud thank you. πit's the simple thing of an alarm clock i think π€£.
18 Sep 2026 22:11:40
Welcome back Arizona mate!
Mind how you go.ππππ.
19 Sep 2026 05:53:47
Very good Stokey!
And Bowie, it's the simple things in life that gives us the most joy mate.
One of things I try to do every day is appreciate the simple things in life. I know it's difficult at times, as we all go through tough times, but I do always try to show gratitude for what I have. I dont mean material things. Just having a a beer or glass of vino with the good lady, and the dogs laying next to you. Always make sure I take time to appreciate it!

Seems Tuchel got an issue with MGW.
18 Sep 2026 11:05:58
Spot on RettyRed! MGW better than Mainoo, and Scott. MGW deserved to be in the squad! Tuchel goes for defensive players every time!
18 Sep 2026 12:37:52
Arguably cost Tommy the World Cup ( not taking MGW)
18 Sep 2026 13:53:58
It'll be interesting if Delap keeps banging em in, with MGW assisting him. Surely Turtle won't have a choice but to call them up. π³.
18 Sep 2026 17:04:57
For me best number 10 in prem as it stands. What goes through Tommy turtles head only he knows but I'm thinking goldfish.
18 Sep 2026 19:03:30
I'd tell him to "Shove it!!!"
In his prime years and continually ignored.
19 Sep 2026 01:08:04
The benefit of Tuchel leaving MGW out is keeps him fresh for Premier games, and gets him rilied up to produce M of the M performance and plenty of goals from him.
19 Sep 2026 10:57:24
Agreed Mossy, his loss, our gain!

Can only agree with previous posts about Brighton, the recruitment is excellent, even getting two Olympiacos players when we didn't get a look in, and even changing coaches just makes them progress and get better.
Wonder if we could claim it all started in 1973 when a certain Peter Taylor was there who planted the seeds to the success nowπ€.
18 Sep 2026 19:49:26
Peter Taylor wouldn't say unsung my best ever forest hero mossy π.
18 Sep 2026 21:48:49
Btw mossey wasn't saying you said he was an unsung hero btw. π.
17 Sep 2026 21:05:19
I see Raheem Sterling has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving.
He's now got 6 points more than Spurs.ππ
Went to the paint shop today to get thinner.
It didn't work.π.
