17 Sep 2026 13:22:52
Spurs 10th? Have they even scored a goal this season?

I think we'll finish above Leeds. We are much better than when we played them.

3

17 Sep 2026 14:56:20
The promoted teams will be fighting regulation after January, Everton will finish higher and Leeds, Spurs will finish well below Nottingham Forest, for sure.

2

17 Sep 2026 15:15:13
I also predicted I'd look 21 yr old at 65. (Women eh) 🫒.

2

17 Sep 2026 15:37:36
Mossy bud there's no (regulations in the premier) money talks 🫒.

17 Sep 2026 15:59:33
Don't know how many of ya watched the league cup game last night (btw we won it for a laugh in the old days, apparently the trophy's are getting melted down for the bridge) no but seriously. I absolutely loved Brightons approach.

Just really give it all from every player, and what a young talent that fabian wurlittser or whatever his name is , brings to the game. Don't get me wrong and believe if ya didn't see it. Man united give it all at home. Love seeing young talented managers and a team with heart having a go. BUT COYR FTID.

3

17 Sep 2026 17:13:24
The Seagulls were magnificent, a real joy to watch, Gross was brilliant, pulling the strings and scored a beauty. Utd folded once they conceded the first, real lack of spirit and spine. 🌳.

3

17 Sep 2026 17:25:29
Brighton was ace Bowie, never gave up and fought for every ball, excellent comeback and thoroughly deserved.

I pu tGross in my dream team at the start of the season, a snip at 5.5M, he take corners and pens too, he has been a point machine so far. Who says 35 is too old, fair play to him!

2

17 Sep 2026 18:07:55

It's just everything I love about football ginger bud. No fancy s**** just heart and playing the simple ball with an idea what to do with it.

2

17 Sep 2026 18:29:30

No fancy s*** !🀣 🀣

Quality.

2

17 Sep 2026 18:32:48
Im just over the moon they are updating the bridge over the trent for cyclists. Apparently you can push red cyclist over using the excuse you were signalling left 🫒 same note, isn't there enough cycle paths in Nottingham 🫒 only joking bud.

1

17 Sep 2026 22:16:50
Cycle paths are dangerous. Too many pedestrians walk in them. Near my sons school there's two paths, one for cyclists and one for pedestrians and it like playing a video game going along there dodging the schoolkids. πŸ˜†.

0

17 Sep 2026 22:17:28
And don't get me started on dog walkers with 12ft leads.

0

17 Sep 2026 20:26:10
There are loads of cycle paths in Nottingham, Bowie. sorry, I thought you said " psychopaths "..πŸ˜πŸ€”πŸ˜”.

1

17 Sep 2026 22:19:00
And Jack Russels or Yorkshire Terriers that think they can stop a 13stone bloke going 20mph. 😱.

1

17 Sep 2026 22:52:40
Try paying road tax then cyclist, instead of your helmet I love the air approach. As for your son an electric uber, πŸ₯°.

1

18 Sep 2026 09:38:43
Agree with you on the dog leads cyclist, all extending leads should be banned, very dangerous.

1

18 Sep 2026 12:35:13
Yes Bowie read my post and saw the spelling mistake🀦🀦, I'll make sure to check my DickandHarry before posting πŸ™„.

1

18 Sep 2026 15:09:25
Only joking mossy πŸ™„.

17 Sep 2026 12:31:42
A bit of positivity.

It looks possible that Tottenham, Aston Villa, Palace, probably Man U are all going to struggle this season. Everton have started well but have very little cover beyond their first team. Lots of the teams you might expect to see challenge for Europe may not be where they should. Evel Liverpool don't look that strong but will still finish in Europe I expect.

If we can keep it together, this season could be a big chance to finish top six.

1

17 Sep 2026 14:59:24
So long as Glasner and Mr Marinnakis can keep it civil, can only see a very positive finish to the season.

0

17 Sep 2026 15:39:42
Paddy power go's 5/2 big m will get a greek god before xmas.

1

17 Sep 2026 11:12:55
Well its Man Utd all over the place again, but the manager decided to play a weakened side and they got beat! I was a goalkeeper in my day, not a bad one either.

The first goal for Brighton was a keepers ball, Lammens could have walked out to the edge of the 6 yard box and picked the ball up!
Playing out from the back again, and yet another goal conceded πŸ˜† 🀣 πŸ˜‚ when will they learn!

0

17 Sep 2026 13:09:45
Was it not Darlow in goal for United mate?

1

17 Sep 2026 17:28:10
It was Darlow, Brighton could have easily had a few more too.

1

17 Sep 2026 18:28:07
Said to my youngest ginger we should have gone for darlow.

1

16 Sep 2026 22:52:00
Plans approved to expand the Stadium to 52,000 capacity. They just have to approve a new pedestrian and cycle bridge over the Trent.

They want to start work end of season so mad rush to get that approved.

We might be in Europe on a building site if we have a good season.

1

17 Sep 2026 08:11:47
So forest complete the expansion but haven't sorted the new bridge. What does Mr M do next?

2

17 Sep 2026 11:16:19
That is great news, hopefully be done in time for me to get a ticket again πŸ˜†
We don't need a new bridge over the Trent, we can get Jesus to carry us over - Jesus walks on the Trent remember!
Looking forward to the game on Saturday, Friday, Sunday, Monday πŸ˜† whatever day Sky want it played! Let's get some momentum going, and keep it going!
COYR.

Re vamp the old suspension bridge and save a lot of money, no planning required.

1

17 Sep 2026 12:27:27
The footbridge looks like what they will accept (I mean the planning people).

1

17 Sep 2026 12:37:09
They want fans to use the park and ride, and will put on buses to ferry them in and out, the buses could drop fans off on the embankment in restricted as there will be no parking on match days. A quick walk over the suspension bridge and your at the ground in ten minutes, no brainier.

2

17 Sep 2026 15:19:04
ValeRed, I have worked on match days and parking can be a massive problem with a car of four people will park on the pavement even tactical restrictions and take the fine, buses taking supporters after the game could be a major problem with people pushing in, I really hope it works, they had problems at Everton when there new stadium opened but think they have been resolved, I still think sticking with West Bridgford is trying to fit a whole whale into a sardines tin🀷.

2

17 Sep 2026 16:41:31
I get what you're saying mossy and can't argue the case for moving. I've been over that new bridge off Trent lane a couple of times and the land on ladybay meadows would make for a fantastic ground and still have room for the training ground.

Wolves Ratings v Sheffield United

15 Sep 2026 07:39:13
{Ed's Note - thefutureisoldgold3 has posted a new article entitled, Wolves Ratings v Sheffield United

1

16 Sep 2026 15:01:59
Dropped my son. of at our Park and Ride depot about 5 miles from where I live.
So a bus driver signals me to pull down my window???
He shouted over "Uuu Redddss!!! I'm from Nottingham!!!
Going to the match on Saturday!!!!
He must have seen the Forest pendant and address sticker on the back of my car!!!!
Made my day!!!!
🀣🀣🀣🀣.

2

16 Sep 2026 16:28:07
It's a universal tribal war cry Rogie, mate, heard the world over.
I last heard it being bellowed towards me on the Street of the Knights in Rhodes in June by a fellow Red who saw my ancient Reds Sun hat! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
There was one occasion when I was on the " Maid of the Mist” about to go by Niagra Falls on the Canadian side, wearing my Reds shirt and in the queue for the yellow waterproof Mac they give you when I was hailed by a fellow Red from Bottesford !
Uuuuuu reddddsss! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜.

2

16 Sep 2026 19:16:40
I shouted the same back!
Absolutely brilliant!

2

16 Sep 2026 19:20:26
Think I said before on here.
My son (who knows nothing about football).
Was coming home from his Night shift at the local hospital.
He said "Dad? This guy pulled up alongside me.
Kept fist pumping .pointing at the back of the car. I realised he seen your pendant.so I gave him a rather awkward thumbs up back"
🀣🀣🀣🀣.

2

14 Sep 2026 22:02:56
Saying home points are vital. Only Man City, Arsenal and Leeds have won a home game this month in the Prem.

5

14 Sep 2026 22:11:10
And we are only 3 points behind third. All to play for.

The unlucky defeat to Leeds doesn't look anything like as bad when you look at the table now.

4

14 Sep 2026 22:22:57
Or tonight's result against Newcastle.

5

14 Sep 2026 23:10:54
Living the Marinakis Dream.

0

14 Sep 2026 23:11:48
Newcastle were appalling though,

3

15 Sep 2026 08:13:52
Yep, too many kids in the centre of the pitch, they basically folded last night. I would imagine that others have taken note, easily bullied with a soft centre. 🌳.

2

15 Sep 2026 08:50:35
What like Man U when they had Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes and won the title?

2

15 Sep 2026 09:04:15
Physically they were different players, Miley and the 17 year old Dutch lad are about as physically opposing as Julian Clary playing prop. Butt and Scholes had bite. 🌳.

1

15 Sep 2026 10:27:01
Speaking of bite, I'd like to see Yates on the pitch.

3

15 Sep 2026 13:48:52
Me too Cyclist but atm he is, imo, behind Schlager, Sanghere and possibly Dominquez in that holding midfielder position mate.

2

15 Sep 2026 15:29:42
another injury and you might see Yatesy in the team, in the back 3, he's rightly down the pecking order in the midfield area,

2

15 Sep 2026 17:34:27
Yes Stevie, OG has mentioned Yates as a possible cover at centre back. He's played there a few times including in pre season.
He's got all the attributes but has a tendency to give free kicks away and has a 50p shaped head.

1

15 Sep 2026 19:12:01
Stokey, yes mate,of all the things I really wouldn't like to see, this is one of those.

1

15 Sep 2026 19:28:50
Should of sold him. all he is now is a overpaid mascot.

1

15 Sep 2026 19:47:03
I think he played there in a Europa match and did very well. But it's a specialist position and you don't want free kicks given away near our box. Looked what happened when Malenkovic clattered the Leeds lad.
But he's a good option until Savona recovers.

1

15 Sep 2026 22:26:37
Skeggs, Yates may not be the most gifted technically but he has many other skills and attributes. Have you ever seen him play?

1

15 Sep 2026 22:36:32
No never seen him play 🀣🀣🀣🀣.

2

16 Sep 2026 09:05:28
Thought not.
Yates is Forest through and through, a proper leader, articulate, hard working and an asset any boss would crave.

2

16 Sep 2026 10:32:22
He might be all that but he's not good enough to make first 11. so like I say expensive mascot.

1

16 Sep 2026 12:03:51
Yates is a a good Premiership player, He may well get his chance and will slot in seamlessly. Unlike any mascot I've ever seen.
I've seen him play many many times and can vouch for his quality and attributes.

A good professional who sets the standards. That's why he's a captain As I said, any Premiership manager would be pleased to have him.
I'm just glad you aren't in charge of recruitment and selection Skeggs.

2

16 Sep 2026 18:34:57
Skeggy, worryingly i seem to find myself agreeing with most of your posts these days, however you are wrong about Yates, every club needs a Yates and we have the original 🀣🀣.

2

14 Sep 2026 20:51:33
It isn't the heart reds I'm going after. It's the simplistic tactics so unbelievably understood to any other manager. Remember these words and I really don't think the players like em. Cannot apologise enough. But my opinion as per.

3

15 Sep 2026 10:29:34
Simple stuff. Football is played with the ball on the grass. Win your personal battles, if you don't concede you can't lose, square pegs in square holes, formations don't win games players do and if it isn't broken don't fix it.

Easy. Take heed OG.

2

14 Sep 2026 17:38:47
Watched the game on Sat, thought we contained them well the first half barring the goal post fluff up.

2nd half we visibly went up a gear and came out really quickly. It was great to see players hunting in packs and GW, McAtee and Schlager busting a nut to get on the ball.

We really got in their faces and thought we overwhelmed them at times.
If Delap can serve up more 2nd half performances like that he will definitley repay his Β£50m price tag.

Was great for Jesus to get the winner, he has been really unlucky at times not to score so far this season and always puts a shift in, really pleased for him.

More of the same please Forest, good stuff.

5

14 Sep 2026 19:26:24
Great post Ginger ! πŸ‘
I'm a great fan of Jesus. Brilliant workrate and a superb finisher given half a chance.

8

14 Sep 2026 19:39:37
So am I a great fan stokey, his book keeps on selling 🫒 actually more than graham Potter, ang on might be Harry.

1

14 sep 2026 19:23:12
i said oi ginger, look at my wad, 1st half for me more than lucky, 2nd we stepped up to the plate. Our playing from the back has me biting nails every time. We beat a villa side under the cosh manager/ coach/ backhander whatever there called now who lost it. Don't get me wrong young man.

Still look almost positive, but i just cannot see freedom from anyone and direction. Locked up in Glasner's purse of notes alongside Hughton's. We fluked it bud, but that's the rules. Ok one at a time please comebacks. And yeah the plasterer makes more money than football sense.

2

14 Sep 2026 20:19:30
I would say Villa edged the first half but the 2nd half, they were 2nd best for sure.

We could have had more goals too(Nico's spoon over for example), we did get to play them at a good time, they are going through a rebuild period now and are rejuvenating their team as it was an aging squad.

But 3 points away is never to be sniffed at for sure in the Prem.

4

14 Sep 2026 20:59:34
The Leeds result doesn't really look that bad now does it.

1

14 Sep 2026 21:13:21
🀣🀣🀣 erm we were the home team ?

2

14 Sep 2026 21:24:54
Twice.

2

14 Sep 2026 21:40:08
Living the glasner mr m dream.😁.

3

14 Sep 2026 22:26:42
Bowie it's true about the Bible mate. The King James Bible and the appointment of Cloughie were the two greatest successes ever done by a commitee.
Unless there's any other suggestions comrades ? One to get the old grey matter going.πŸ€”.

2

14 Sep 2026 22:39:42
Stokey i know you like reading books?
How about pop. ups?
If i sat on your knee ?

1

14 Sep 2026 22:43:42
🀣 stokey, on that I might stick one of my old twisted lyrics out later πŸ‘.

1

14 Sep 2026 22:39:50
No stokie were not at church and 70s 80s went a long time ago. we're now in 2026.and looking into the future not the past. my little historian living the glasner mr m forest youngsters are loving you for bringing them European football making the ground a bigger and better place ignore the has beens that live in the past.

1

15 Sep 2026 09:18:18
Bowie, excellent! Look forward to the lyrics mate πŸ‘
Skeggs, I can't make head nor tail of that post mate. It was like Vienna. It means nothing to me.😁.

4

15 Sep 2026 11:14:21
Only three how wins so far this month in the Prem. The away teams have been doing better. No idea why.

1

14 Sep 2026 11:51:02
Public enemy number 1 aka Enzo Fernandez should have his work permit revoked because it must say footballer when it ought to say political activist and actor

His disgraceful comments directed towards England at the World Cup proves my first point and his antics yesterday in the derby prove my second rolling on the floor trying to get Mainoo sent off for merely catching him with his hand

Argentina might love you we don't.

8

14 Sep 2026 21:57:40
No i'm public enemy no 1 πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

0

14 Sep 2026 22:06:55
You are winter thumbs up from your 5 or so posters. Been on here long enough.

1

15 Sep 2026 00:48:39
Ok hands up winter. Sorry.

0

15 Sep 2026 08:16:01
Errr, nope, im definitely me. Try DTP or that Trump hating mate of yours. 🌳.

2

14 Sep 2026 10:22:36
It's interesting that our next opponents, Coventry, are in such dire straits so early on. They look completely out of their depth early doors in the Prem despite being runaway winners of the Championship last season. I'm not a betting man but I doubt they will achieve the magical 11 points this season.
Which makes Steve Coopers achievement even more incredible.

3

14 Sep 2026 10:37:36
Sergej Jakirović is already well on his way to getting the Keys to the City and an honorary Yorkshire passport. I watched a fair bit of the Championship last season, and would never of guessed it would be them doing so well. Gary O'Neil isn't doing a bad job either.
Fulham
Palace
Coventry
My sides to go down. 🌳.

3

14 Sep 2026 12:04:01
Lots of good managers in the EFL, but not up to the premier league standards. I'm not saying Lampard isn't a good manager and you would think after playing in the prem for as long as he did he'd be able to be competitive, just goes to show how many fail.

Take our Nigel' been with Mansfield for a while now not pulling any trees up at the moment and knows the efl inside out but put him in the prem I don't think he'd last three months.

1

14 Sep 2026 13:02:35
The problem is Lampard is popular with the FA and a likely next England manager. He is in the Southgate mould ie nice character wont upset FA applecarts. Southgate won nothing with Middlesbrough and it didn't stop them appointing him and he won nothing with England. So how Lampard does with Coventry is irrelevant to the FA. Lee Carsley is my choice should TT fail again.

2

14 Sep 2026 15:11:27
Lampard isn't that nice a character Nuno mate.
Remember the sex tapes scandal with Rio Ferdinand and Dyer in Cyprus back in the day. We all did daft things perhaps as young men but nothing as sordid as that.
Also, I went to see Jon Richardson the comedian and actor a couple of years ago at the Stoke Regent. Very funny but he told a story about filming a " hit the crossbar from the half way line " competition for Red Nose Day.

By sheer fluke JR hit the bar first time. Lampard kicked up a right fuss and insisted that the filming continued until he'd won. Sounds like a bit of a mardy arse to me.
Can't see him ever becoming England manager tbh.

2

15 Sep 2026 12:08:00
" nothing as sordid as that” speak for yourself stokie πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

1

15 Sep 2026 17:36:04
I was Oakham.πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡.

1

15 Sep 2026 20:01:36
Yeah, and just wishful thinking on my part 😟.
