Pep, is he leaving a sinking ship?
I believe he knows what's coming.
Big points reduction and what will hurt them more, a transfer embargo for two seasons.
Come on, get it done.

Hopefully a good clear out now and a couple of decent players in early striker everyone knows is a must. But now's the time to get rid of Yates. He's just nowhere near good enough. Thanks for your service and hopefully you will get more game time with someone like Hull uredddssss.

For once I agree about Yates.
Not a fan of a club captain not playing regular.
I think we have to make MGW captain.

27 May 2026 08:59:26
MGW will be captain. Hill City want Yates. Great club man, but time to let him go.

27 May 2026 09:40:19
I've said this many times, but whilst Yates lacks the technical skills of Sanghere, every team needs a hod carrier. I've never seen Forest get bullied when Ryan's on the pitch.
The enforcer.

27 May 2026 11:35:36
Agreed, mate.

27 May 2026 13:06:06
Yates needs to stay and I think Pereira knows it.

26 May 2026 20:54:57
Pointless guessing on our next season, Big M has his own beliefs. Paul McCartney said the best Beatles song ever from them. Or their comfort blanket, Here Comes the Sun from George Harrison. Enjoy the rays, reds. Bless ya all ❤️ COYR FTID.

Class song, mate...

26 May 2026 22:08:02
It was my wedding music, Bowie, for my second marriage, as we walked down the chapel aisle at Caverswall Castle, just outside Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The music for my first marriage was "Sheep May Safely Graze" by Johann Sebastian Bach, performed beautifully live at St Thomas's Church, South Wigston, near Leicester.

26 May 2026 22:14:13
Don't tell us what you did for your third. ??
Don't stop believing? ????

27 May 2026 09:44:01
Nice one, DTP...
I'm guessing yours was "Don't Laugh at Me Because I'm a Fool" by Norman Wisdom?
Or, perhaps, due to the general lack of "thumbs up" after your comments on here, I'm thinking "Only the Lonely" by Roy Orbison. ????

27 May 2026 11:36:32
Mine's was "Suspicious Minds". ???

27 May 2026 12:00:15
I did ask for local lad 'Lemmys', Ace of Spades, Rogie, but I got overruled... ???
True story here. I did once go to a wedding where the reception afterwards featured a karaoke. One of the guests, after a few pints, took it upon himself to sing Neil Diamond's 'Love on the Rocks'.

26 May 2026 20:51:10
Here’s yet another stat as a gauge to our season...
We only did the double over 2 teams, Brentford and Spurs, but 2 teams did the double over us: Everton and Brighton.
Personally, I think once Ange had gone, we did become difficult to beat and took point (s) off 17 out of 19 teams.

Including those in the Champions League spots: Arsenal (home point), Man City (away point), Man Utd (home point), Villa (home point), Chelsea (3 away points), Bournemouth (home point).
Steady accumulation?

26 May 2026 21:36:52
Vitor took points. Playing attractive football is the difference for me.
Under Dyche, we couldn't buy a goal, and now we score for fun with the same players.

27 May 2026 10:21:35
Another myth, DTP, I'm afraid, mate. .....
In all competitions under SD, Forest scored 36 goals in 26 games in all competitions.
Under VP we scored 32 goals in 20 games.
Not much different......

Probably a misconception because we scored a glut like the 5 against Sunderland, the 4 against Burnley and the 3 against Chelsea.
Not that im complaining. VP is an excellent coach and we are lucky to have him ...

26 May 2026 10:23:02
Unfortunately I think Murillo will get tempted away £ but I think Cunha is worth investing in as a long term centre back.

Who's this? I'm a Loughborough Red as well.

27 May 2026 07:38:17
Hi, Perko. Moved down from the metropolis 25 years ago.

27 May 2026 11:03:22
Ahh okay mate. Just wondered if I might know you or not.

26 May 2026 09:46:28
Mr M caught up in an altercation at a sports event! Not our Mr M surely! The strong intelligent Mr M?

Agree1 Disagree0

26 May 2026 11:14:15
It was a basketball match & he got into a fight. ? You watch, we'll end up with Michael Jordon up top with Wood next year. ?

26 May 2026 20:32:17
I'm surprised Mr M didn't have some heavy duty security, especially for his public app in Greece. Apparently, he had a run-in with the nephew of the current Greek Prime Minister.
My view of Greek alpha males is always coloured by Spiro Haliocopoulous, the character in Gerald Durrell's brilliant book "My Family and Other Animals." Brilliantly written, and very, very funny (and a true story). Mr M fits the character to a tee. Brash, loud, aggressive, macho, but with a generous heart. Best played by Brian Blessed opposite Hannah Gordon as Mrs Durrell in the 1980s series (but the one starring Keeley Hawes recently was excellent too).

I remember chatting to our Greek driver on holiday in Dassia, Corfu last year. I innocently remarked on how close the beautiful coast of Albania was, and he turned on a sixpence, saying we should have gone there instead if we thought Albania was more beautiful than Greece (which I didn't). So proud and touchy (a bit like a few on here), but by the time we'd got to the airport it was all forgotten. Very friendly, but very passionate.

26 May 2026 20:47:08
Oh yes, Keeley Hawes. Now you're talking, Stokey.
All of a sudden your posts have become worth reading.

26 May 2026 21:44:59
I bet you asked if he was busy and what time he finished, if he could get a word in. ???

27 May 2026 11:54:02
A bit more original than that DTP. I tend to listen rather than talk. I remember this guy (whose English was poor, which may have led to the Albania misunderstanding, but better than my non existent Greek) was unimpressed when I mentioned Mr M (the universal language of football) saying he was AEK.
Police experience, you see, mate. When I was Community Beat Officer at Hyson Green, just for 2 years after the 1982 riots, you always listened to what taxi drivers had to say.

They often overheard unguarded conversations from passengers, and had a feel for what was going on. Likewise, postmen, milkmen (you can tell how long ago this was), binmen, paper lads.
Read the signs, mate. Milk bottles disappearing... petrol bombs? Mail building up? Missing person? Terrible smell coming from a house? Sudden death? Stuff being delivered via taxi? Drug couriers?
Old habits die hard...

Dpt the Skegness mafia are running a masters course in how to get bites on banter.
Your primitive attempts are so out of date & for a reasonable fee (24 cans of Stella) & a lifetime membership to the live chat miners welfare, we could propel you to new heights.

Just think of the benefits.
Lego losing it, Bowie bricking it, Rogie ranting & Robin Hood Red raging. You'll find the enrollment form at. talking garbage.com ???

26 May 2026 10:25:44
Brilliant Balloons. ???

26 May 2026 10:43:22
That would be way too many amphibians, though. We already have a resident Frog and Skegs (as slippery as a Salamander). They would all be trying to spawn in our beer, so definitely no room for a toad. ?

26 May 2026 10:59:02
Master "Baiters" Course mors like!!!.
???

26 May 2026 11:11:49
Hence the post, Rogie, as you're the number one recipient. If you were a fish, you'd have taken that many bites, you'd have no lips left. ??

26 May 2026 12:24:55
Just admit you're a Ram.
???

26 May 2026 20:36:12
I'm not bothered about West Ham or Spurs (and I've got mates who support both), but let's not forget Spurs survived because Unai Emry, the manager of Aston Villa, put out a weak team against Spurs, gifting 3 points. If I were Nuno, I'd be sending him a card saying "Thanks a bunch......". ? ? ?

26 May 2026 21:43:48
Stokey, I don't think it's so much Villa put out a weakened team; it's that they didn't try at all and threw the game completely.

26 May 2026 22:07:07
Karma, Nuno got exactly what he deserved.
Poor results in vital games.
He needs to accept he's a coach, like most do.
He had the chance to be a Forest legend and win a European trophy, but decided otherwise.
Now he's got relegation on his CV.
And, apparently, no pay off from the Hammers.
Karma.

26 May 2026 21:56:25
Stokey you're an ex copper mate. It's letter bombs you send, can't see "thanks a bunch hurting any f kr,?

25 May 2026 22:31:18
A shout out for our neighbours, Notts County FC, well done on a fine 3-0 win at Wembley!

The referee was very lenient and let a lot of stuff go, although some of them could have been cards!

Well done The Magpies.

25 May 2026 22:38:25
Yep, well done, sadpies.

26 May 2026 08:09:46
With all the bile that comes from them, couldn't care less. Hope they get relegated next season.

26 May 2026 12:26:18
You beat me to it, pal!!!!
Sadpies... Indeed, DTP...

25 May 2026 22:12:20.
Congrats to Notts County today! ???????
Some good local derbies next season with Mansfield and Leicester.
Besides anything that gets up Gary Neville’s nose is fine by me!
Uuuuuuuu pies! ??
