Truth or dare day has arrived

Time for our so called stars to turn up and be counted. 1 win in 7 against today’s opponents the mighty mighty Fulham!

Gibbs White Sangare Anderson our so called midfield 3 need to get a stranglehold on midfield and Aina and Williams need to get crosses into the box for either Lucca Awoniyi or Jesus.

15 Mar 2026 10:15:40
All of that will probably happen, Munmad. Then Lucca, Jesus, or Awoniyi will balls it up. End result, Nottingham Forest nil.
I'm not usually negative about going to a match, and it's a nice day for my long journey, but I'm dreading this afternoon. I've seen nothing to suggest otherwise, so can only see one result.

15 Mar 2026 10:23:04
Have a great day baldy. ?

15 Mar 2026 10:36:54
Quite right, Gazzi.
Bad times for the fans. I wonder if Mr M has had enough?

15 Mar 2026 08:44:08
I've just been reading about Edu and his contract with Mr M. 4 year deal but he will accept a 2 year pay off to leave! Behind the scenes seems to be as desperate as on the pitch.
Please VP play Taiwo up front, he might just surprise us all by scoring!
COYR.

15 Mar 2026 10:33:18
I fancy us to score today. Someone unlikely: Lucca? McAtee?

15 Mar 2026 08:18:04
Morning all. Biggest game in our season so far today. Lack of goals costing us dearly. If fit, I would start Taiwo and actually partner him with Jesus. Can’t understand just playing one up front when we so desperately need goals. Switching to 4-4-2 or even 3-5-2 may give us a chance.

Hope the ground is bouncing, but I warn you now. If we lose without a whimper the fans will let them know at the end. With a manager who has taken 4 Premier League points out of his last 51, I worry we won’t get over the line today. COYR.

15 Mar 2026 10:25:30
Good Man, I'm sure she is...
Both of them probably had a hand in that day we met in Nottingham!!!
?

15 Mar 2026 10:33:50
Rogie, yes mate, ? she was 5 foot nothing, but could always rein her headstrong, big lump of a son in with a couple of sharp words and my full name. ? She was about the only person that could. ?

15 Mar 2026 11:00:20
Same here!!.
She was 5" 2!!
Wee grafter, I remember me and my brother got into a bit of a squabble with some lads, so my Mum get's to hear about it.
We were heading home, and there she is, coming towards us brandishing this huge branch!!
"Where are they!! I'll get them!!" ?
We said "It's ok Ma! It's all over let's go home!"
Haven't a clue where she got it from!!?
When I got married in Gretna Green, during the speeches, I shouted over "Alright my wee Nell???!"

???
Brilliant memories!!

Last comment from me in Derby territory, long serving Forest fan, and surviving medic of Hillsborough!
We will be safe, no matter what the score on Sunday!
We have 4/5 players wanted by other clubs, or for international duty! They have to come good, or their wages will suffer!
COYR COYR COYR COYR COYR.

Said it weeks ago "Nuno is coming to get us" looking spot on at the moment.

15 Mar 2026 07:36:32
Just settle down at 2.00pm, boys, & hold your nerve. Let's see how we get on, & who turns up today. Bang them bodhrans loud, & follow them all the way the 90th minute. ?

15 Mar 2026 07:52:47
That's more like it, Larry!!!!
???

14 Mar 2026 23:26:42
Gentleman get a grip the last few posts are laughable. Do you all have crystal balls? Did you all buy them from the Skegness seafront? Did they come with a free kiss-me-quick bucket hat? ?.

Agree2 Disagree0

15 Mar 2026 06:28:10
Brilliant mate, that made me laugh!!!
God knows we need it on here!

15 Mar 2026 06:51:54
Morning boys, from sunny Skegness. ? Today's the day to see if we have footballers who play for the shirt or millionaire fairies.

15 Mar 2026 07:18:21
Well, they didn't come from Cornwall or Hartlepool. That would be a straw hat & a whippet. ??

15 Mar 2026 07:53:58
If we give our all, then you simply cannot ask for more than that!
COYRS!!!

14 Mar 2026 23:10:05
So bottom 3 is where we find ourselves tonight. Will the lads turn up tomorrow or will we hear the excuses of tired players after we get our arses handed to us? Now we will see what the players are made of, up for the battle or already at their next club in their heads.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Mar 2026 23:48:52
The fans need to turn up as well. Reading down this board, I'm less confident of that than the team showing up. Plenty of bandwagon jumpers will be looking to alight pretty soon. Good riddance to them.

15 Mar 2026 04:44:57
Well, everyone seems a little bit tender tonight. Knocking lumps out of each other will solve nothing. The facts are, and were, simple to predict, as I have done all season. Marinakas will wreck our club. Nine years in charge, and what have we got?
A pile of false promises.
1) A 50,000 seater stadium. Wrong. A few tin containers chucked up in one corner.
2) Challenging for a regular top 6 spot. Wrong. 7th to 17th in one swift move because he knew more about football than Nuno.

3) Build a squad to compete at the highest level. Wrong. Over 100 transfers & half a billion spent on transfers & we haven't even got a striker.
4) Fingers in too many pies, 3 clubs & counting, & not a successful one amongst em. Yes, Olympiacas compete quite well in a 2 horse race league. Big deal.
I could go on, but it's turning into a Stokey.
Enjoy our defeat at Fulham.

15 Mar 2026 07:12:28
Balloons, I can accept people having different opinions. What I can't stomach is idiots laughing about our current position. They reckon to be supporters of this club; well, judging from some posts, it's difficult to imagine. Defeatism is a self-fulfilling prophecy, and something that is against my nature personally.

I don't know one successful person who has this dismal attitude. As I've already said, I hope the players aren't affected by the attitude of some of their so-called fans.

15 Mar 2026 07:27:15
I'm not laughing, Stevie, I'm just stating facts. Which one of my comments is untrue? Are the players affected? No, because they're millionaires who will just move on to more wealth when the trap door opens.
A successful person with a dismal attitude?
Kier Starmer, to name one, is absolutely loaded.
Happy clapping won't keep us in the Prem. It needs good ownership & football knowledge.

15 Mar 2026 10:13:23
Balloons didn't say you were laughing, can't say that for your mate thoughts.

15 Mar 2026 10:28:44
Hey stevie boy.what would you like me to do sit in the corner of the room crying anyone could see that knew football what was coming after the first 2 months of the season.and what you want me to be miserable and happy clap at a bunch of pathetic millionaires and a multi millionaire that's turned what was supposed to be one of our best seasons for decades i'm not laughing at forest mate I've supported them all my life i'm laughing at people like you who think somehow I should be happy clapping this joke of a season

14 Mar 2026 22:34:24
West Ham now above us. I can't see any wins coming our way. Better to envisage Championship football now. At least me and my son might be able to get a ticket or two.

14 Mar 2026 22:08:37
Relegation zone again. That’s it. Can’t score. Nottingham Forest Nil. It’s over. Well done West Ham. You deserve to stay up. We are Finished.

15 Mar 2026 00:22:22
Didn't realise the season was over.

15 Mar 2026 06:14:01
It is if you can't score goals.

15 Mar 2026 09:49:42
Froggy has rolled over to have his tummy tickled already, lol.

14 Mar 2026 22:06:27
The main culprit for our position in the PL is Igor Jesus. He was terrible in pre-season. Posters on here having a go at me for being negative when I said weeks ago he needed replacing. His whole posture and demeanour suggested he was out of his depth. I would have had more respect for him if he had held up is hands and said via his interpreter that a run on the bench might help him to get up to speed. He looks like he has overdone the weight training in the gym without doing the work on the treadmill and track - he can't run! Some astute poster the other day said he's one of the worst strikers ever at the club and I have to agree.

In the same company as Ian Wallace, Peter Ward, Bert Bowery, Bob Rosario (at least physically up to it). The goal difference says it all. If he is in the team against Fulham I won't be going and if he is still in next season's squad I'll be reluctant to renew. Don't want to watch a striker who can't score goals and is clearly out of his depth. Whoever recommended him wants shooting! Hopefully MGW and/or CHO will bail us out tomorrow - great players.

14 Mar 2026 23:22:43
Wholly wrong. The reason we are in this state is purely because of the owner. His choices for the club, in terms of who runs what, have well and truly scuppered us. Stop blaming the players.

14 Mar 2026 23:28:13
??? Rhr, one player solely to blame for our predicament? ??? ?

14 Mar 2026 23:32:50
So you think he's an effective striker, bsered, and done a good job for the team, and comparable with the better Forest strikers of the past? If he'd have scored 10, or even 8, goals this season, we wouldn't be in the s*** we are in. Yes, Marinakis made the biggest error, sacking Nuno.

14 Mar 2026 23:45:41
? "With so many light years to go and things to be found, to be found.
I'm sure that we'll all miss him so,
It's the final meltdown,
The final meltdown." ? ???

15 Mar 2026 02:41:22
I must admit.

I would go with Awoniyi.

But, at least, he has done it before.
...
Taiwo. Taiwo Awoniyi, score a goal for me.

15 Mar 2026 09:55:20
How can our predicament be Jesus' fault? Why not go round Woods' house and have a go at him for getting injured on international duty while you're at it. Crazy times on here, honestly.

There is a whole rap sheet of why we are where we are, but it's not down to him. I get people being frustrated and angry, but this is just getting a bit silly now. :)
