We need a point at Sunderland.

That's how I'm seeing as well pal.
20 Apr 2026 19:51:32
We got one at City and against Villa, so don't see why we can't even win it tbh. We are on our best run of the season and are the form team ahead of West Ham, Spurs, even Newcastle, who we will meet at the right time imo.
20 Apr 2026 20:48:13
Mackems playing with the same heart as we did, on our arrival back to the Premier. And the Premier deductions. It really is togetherness and player power. Not the end of the world for me not getting a point, but it is against them w*****. FTID.

Three players who need to be replaced next season: Ndoye, Morato and Bakwa. Bring back Kalimuendo from Frankfurt. If Anderson and Murrilo do move on, then we have Cunha to replace Murrilo and need to bring in either Garner Wharton or Hackney to replace Anderson.
Hopefully MGW regains his England place and is made club captain next season and doesn’t do a Grealish, who should never have left Villa; our fans like theirs, love him.

Harry Wilson, if he'd come on a free.
20 Apr 2026 10:55:15
If Mr M decides to bring in the Fulham manager next season, Wilson may well come with him.
20 Apr 2026 12:27:34
If we win the Europa League, then I don't think we'll need to worry too much about recruitment.
Bakwa could still come good. Some players just take longer to settle. He does have talent, like Kalimuendo.
We need a Wood replacement. Kalimuendo and Jesus are options, but Wood is a different type of player. Unless we aren't going to play the style that suits Wood next season, surely that has to be the priority?
20 Apr 2026 13:44:16
If Morgan does leave, no one can say he never gave his all. I, like a lot on here, doubted him...
When he signed his new contract, however, he's been brilliant most of this year.
20 Apr 2026 15:52:20
In the four seasons he's been with us, I've never doubted his commitment. His form might have dipped very rarely, but the effort has always been there. He never hides, always tries to make things happen even if his flicks and tricks don't always come off. We'd be deep in it if it wasn't for him. That's for sure.
20 Apr 2026 17:20:16
Garner has just recently signed a new contract at Everton. Why would he leave them?
20 Apr 2026 08:54:09
I said before the Porto game Europa League semi final and 6 pts from Burnley and Sunderland we are 2/3 of the way to achieving that. Admittedly the first half yesterday was dire but Vp addressed that and the second half with Mgw playing wider and two up top we looked very sharp. Sunderland away not easy but play like we did second half and 3 pts will be ours and no I wouldn’t take a draw.
Same team that started the game apart from Jesus for Bakwa. So pleased our great club showed its class as a family club with that tribute to Anderson’s mum and credit to Elliott for playing his part in a vital win.

Super 2nd half performance yesterday. The version of Forest we'd love to see more of. I hope we push on now and grab a couple more wins

We still need a couple more wins, mate.
20 Apr 2026 13:45:02
We do, mate. If that version turns up all games are winnable, aren't they? If it's the other version, it then shifts quickly to looking unlikely we would win any of them.
20 Apr 2026 14:40:06
If it's the other version, we are in deep trouble.
Despite our comeback yesterday, we are definitely not out of it yet.
20 Apr 2026 17:16:28
This is "Version" on the ridiculous!!!.
???
20 Apr 2026 21:31:48
The first half was ridiculous, Rog, old chap.

No matter what you may or may not think of Mr M, his influence on our great club is unprecedented. Established Premier League club, successive major cup semi finals. Silverware could be ours this season. Just think when he took over we were in the bin dippers current territory.

I don't know about established Red Robin. Three out of our 4 seasons back have been a struggle, and this one's not over, mate.

Back at you. "You'll never find a rainbow if you're looking down." Charlie Chaplin. ? ?
20 Apr 2026 09:50:25
I agree with Stokey Red Robin.
Unfortunately, Forest is not yet an established club.
Hopefully, we will remain in the Premier League, and the lessons learned this season will lead to greater due diligence across all areas, from recruitment to individual responsibility.
20 Apr 2026 09:59:01
And Ripley, you can have some Stokey treatment also. "But I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough can you see the stars." Martin Luther King Jr. ⭐ ?

Red Robin, fair enough, mate. My views on our owner are well known on here. I admire his passion, ambition and commitment, both financial and emotional.
However, we are still the template for what a badly run club looks like. We lack stability and long term foundations for our future.
A high turnover of managers is lamentable, and, (though I hate to say it), we are at times a laughing stock. Recruitment is slapdash, we fell foul of FFP and his treatment of Nuno, Cooper and Dyche was disgraceful.
Mr M is very much Bovril, I accept...
20 Apr 2026 11:36:25
"Bovril" ???? I meant "Marmite" of course. Same derivative, I like both!
20 Apr 2026 12:33:10
Stokey, I hear that Mr M's favourite phrase is.
"I have a cunning plan." ?
20 Apr 2026 17:06:19
Red, thank you for that. ?
I'm sure it's 'I'm great at cunning stunts'? ??

Some really good football today. Scouse game (never a pen btw and good VAR for a change noticing the offside) and city / gooner game. Loads of passion some really good football.

Yesterday was the Premier League at its best, mate. As a side note, wouldn't it be fantastic to see City lift the Premier League, then a day later the FA finally gets its act together and docks them 60 points. ??
19 Apr 2026 20:56:45
Big well done to Elliott, huge performance in the circumstances - I didn't expect him to play. Massive from the Geordie Maradona.
Also a shout out for Ryan Yates, what a cross he dug out for MGW hat trick!

Great second half. Fingers crossed West Ham lose tonight and give us a bit of breathing space. Looking forward to Friday's game, know it will be tough but would be happy with a draw.
20 Apr 2026 10:51:48
Don't be surprised if Palace rest a lot of key players.

19 Apr 2026 19:56:39
The deal is we need 4 pionts max from 5 games
Why worry?
Spurs need two wins just to catch up?

We cannot assume anything. We need points from every game from now on, as those around us will undoubtedly get surprise points at this time of the season, plus we have lost Cho, with Bakwa not a proper replacement, and maybe Murillo is out for some time.
Where is Ndoye?
We need to be brave and bold now. We have a decent coach who spotted the tactics needed today and used them with some astute subs as well.
20 Apr 2026 01:26:46
Hopefully, Ndoye is on his way home - never to be seen again. Bakwa is the worst player we've ever signed and should also never be seen again!
19 Apr 2026 19:30:45
Couldn't get to today's game, but managed to watch on my iPad and what a turnaround! Unbelievable! Bakwa was just awful. I liked Woody and Jesus up front and just one winger. Three magical finishes from MGW. A shout out to Hutchinson on the second goal, doing what we have all been screaming for, a good delivery after going outside the fullback.
