When I watched the forest focus podcast with matt Davies earlier he showed the save % of all the ligue 1 keepers and his was the lowest of all 18 keepers.

We are supposedly being linked to two loan deals - a winger and midfielder.

Gio Reyna from Dortmund (George Mendez) and Carlos Borges (age 19) from Man City. Borges is fast and exciting according to Giordiola.

If European midfielders take time to settle, then Reyna is probably a waste of time. We usually get stung by Mendes anyway.

If Mangala goes in this window I think omabamadele could take Murrilo’s place and I personally would play him in Mangala’s position. He can run with the ball, get further up the pitch and tackle well. Wouldn’t need him to head the ball as much? I would be happy to see Murillo and Sangare bossing the midfield.

Nonsense he's a defender not a midfielder, he's 21 and hasn't got 50 appearances to his name
He's playing in front of two really bad keepers and his defensive partner changes weekly
If he was midfield he wouldn't have the time on the ball as he'd be further forwards and wouldn't be any good, he's a defender end of and that's where Cooper and nuno play him, needs a partner on a regular basis
Enjoy while you can he will be gone soon for mega bucks and he won't be playing in midfield.

Napoli offered 30 million for Mangala. Apparently initial 6 month loan with obligation to buy if he plays 50 percent of games and at least 45 mins a game. Also he has agreed personal terms Apparently. If the boys not happy then I'd take that, OK he's played decent at times and has got better but need players to set up and score a few more, personally don't think he'll be missed too much. Need to clear the decks and that's a start, if relegation is a certainty then a big clear out will happen anyway. If not then so many fringe players or players who will never play for us out on loan meed shifting on. If we stay in the prem Nuno needs to make his own mark with some of his own players. First 1 in Sa.

The trouble with crappy deals like that is that if they decide they don't fancy paying $30M then all they have to do is deliberately just miss the appearance threshold for the "obligation".

So it isn't an obligation to buy.

No Munmad it’s not good business at all. It’s never to be a workable policy to sell your better players to accommodate the many mediocre players we have signed ( some of whom have hardly played). Recruitment is a mess. Plus you need a specialist DM player as I’ve posted on here before. I mean, in rugby, you wouldn’t play a scrum half at tighthead prop would you or get Jimmy Anderson to open the batting at cricket?

Tough one to call this as I am a big Mangala fan. One of the first names on the team sheet under Cooper but didn't play in both the Newcastle and Man U wins.

Nuno favouring Yates and Danilo as the x2 holding midfielders and I'm guessing Sangare will be competing for one of the holding midfielders roles after AFCON - He still needs to impress and Mangala is a better DM but we aren't going to sell our 30m signing after 6months are we!?

Danilo for me isn't a DM but Nuno must see something tactically in his role. Yates, Sangare and Danilo fighting for x2 spots so as hard as it is for me to say, I say we take the £25m for Mangala to support with FFP. I really hope he stays though!

I’m in the other camp to be honest re Mangala. He’s OK but of late he’s been a bit hit and miss. People keep mentioning how good he is, but I just don’t see it.
Last night at Blackpool he was sloppy. Then again, for a period of 30 minutes, EVERYONE was sloppy lol.

Nico Williams loan to Leeds: Completely believable from the Leeds might want him angle. Not played a lot under new boss, but he should improve at age 22.

Mangala to Napoli (loan) : Stupid decision if true. Looks like the new boss might be "falling out" with players (i. e. can't pick everyone EXACTLY LIKE COOPER COULDN'T)

Che Adams to Forest: This one comes up every window. We probably do want him, but that doesn't mean he's coming.

Ngonge: Looks like several teams want him. We do need at least one more winger if we are playing with two proper wide men.
