Newcastle away in cup.

AG

1.) 10 Aug 2017 22:32:09
What will there excuses be if we beat them this time, tapping up Murphy who scores the winner, and sets up another.

2.) 11 Aug 2017 08:31:40
Murphy couldn't score in a brothel.

3.) 11 Aug 2017 17:46:29
Obviously doesn't have your experience then Long-Eaton.

06 Jan 2017 09:47:38
Landsbury to sign for Everton inside information. Osborn 4million from Newcastle TAKE IT

AG

1.) 06 Jan 2017 10:29:10
Lansbury yes get rid and grab the cash💰Osborne no him and the other youngsters are the future😎

2.) 06 Jan 2017 11:36:34
no one is going anywhere until takeover is completed or collapses

3.) 06 Jan 2017 12:45:30
In the new owner world we are not willing sellers and the owners can name their price of all our players which in the current feeding frenzy is 4 fold the Fawaz ticket price!

4.) 06 Jan 2017 13:54:03
sell them all and cash in. this seems to be the policy. god help us.

5.) 06 Jan 2017 20:35:19
Osborn should surely be sold if we've been offered 4 million. Another perch, as good as he will get now.

01 Sep 2015 12:58:55
Forest have accepted a bid from crystal places for 6.5 million and MA to sign a 4 year contact

AG

1.) 01 Sep 2015 13:28:55
Crystal Places? Isn't that a glassware shop in the Broadmarsh Centre ?

2.) 01 Sep 2015 13:46:32
Why when the deal at West Ham is about to be sealed?

3.) 01 Sep 2015 13:55:54
Sky have just reported that a deal has been agreed with West Ham. MA on his way to have medical.

4.) 01 Sep 2015 13:58:20
Even though £7.1m fee agreed with West Ham?

02 Jul 2015 12:12:12
Ward has signed on o/s

AG

1.) 02 Jul 2015 17:48:58
So we have a Centre back leader and now someone to take the pressure off Antonio, good work if Ward is also on a free. Now for a Left back? and a striker, job done.

2.) 02 Jul 2015 19:06:11
If we are to sign a keeper i would get in steve harper old i know but plenty of experiance or i would even take lee camp back

02 Feb 2015 11:46:30
Pearce to be new ceo after faulkner resigned

AG

1.) 02 Feb 2015 12:32:34
That would be like takin Louis Spence as manager. He has no experience what so ever in that rope so I think this rumour is completely made up

2.) 02 Feb 2015 13:48:11
He's going to be the new kit man and also responsible for the stock levels of Pukka Pies at the city ground :-) Sorry I've got to joke and laugh otherwise I'm just going to spend the day crying.

3.) 03 Feb 2015 19:52:34
Stuart has more dignity than that!

I do find it amazing that most people on here seem to have a Everton fan now we have signed one of there players 🤔⚽.

AG

1.) 02 Aug 2017 14:41:16
I find it amazing that we sign a19 year old instead of an experienced championship player in that position 😠.

2.) 02 Aug 2017 18:06:12
If you find it amazing signing him watch him on utube this lad is top quality I believe could be a massive asset to our squad certainly has a sweet left foot time will tell.

3.) 02 Aug 2017 19:46:33
For my sins, I live in Liverpool, so more likely to know an Evertonian or 20.😀.

4.) 02 Aug 2017 20:11:19
Class outfit Everton unlike their near neighbours! (Stands well back for the Scouse slugfest! )

5.) 02 Aug 2017 23:35:08
Must be blue nose day then. 🤔🤔.

6.) 03 Aug 2017 11:59:03
I wonder if Bristol City supporters all moaned when they signed Tammy Abrahams instead of a experienced striker last season or if Hudds fans moaned about loaning Mooy and Izzy Brown. Dowell might be best signing we make! Is about time Forest had a really influential loan signing! I would still like to see a defensive minded midfielder arrive too. Still think Macdonald may be at the CG by Sept 1st.

28 Jul 2017 23:59:25
Shoot me down but I am going to disagree with most people I don't think we need to bring in a new keeper in Smith. I trust and all I think that is missing from the squad is a Paul mckenna type player and we will be fine.

AG

1.) 29 Jul 2017 01:14:00
Our Greek friend could be that man.

26 Jun 2017 18:51:14
mahoney is set to sign for bournemouth because are owner can't sort compensation out quick enough bring back fawaz deal would of been wrapped up weeks ago.

AG

1.) 26 Jun 2017 19:07:12
What you mean is, our owner negotiated sensibly for the lad with his club over the required amount of compensation, then if true Bournemouth come out of the blue threw their Premiership money at the situation and got him.

2.) 26 Jun 2017 19:54:28
Isn't it the fa or fl that sorts compensation out for a young player,?

3.) 26 Jun 2017 20:11:47
UTF
The way i understand the process is, the two clubs negotiate a settlement, or compensation for the player as he is under 24 years old, if after negotiating for a period of time there is an impasse, then it goes to a football panel to decide an amount. I would therefore suggest we were either still negotiating, or had gone to the panel to decide, in come Bournemouth here is a huge wad of cash and Blackburn say nice dealing with you. I suppose the lad could say no thanks i want to join Forest, but why would he with Premiership football, and Premiership wages.

01 May 2017 22:29:59
I don't get why people are still moaning about Huddersfield playing the second team move on. At the end of the day we have only got are selves to blame we have been the second worst team in this league behind Rotherham the squad is just not good enough and has not been for sometime now I do think in my opinion that we will bottle it on Sunday and we will be playing league 1 football I hope I am wrong really do.

AG

1.) 02 May 2017 00:30:13
72 goals conceded and an abysmal away record. Anyone trying to put the blame elsewhere is sadly deluded. Still think we could get over the line but will be reliant on a good Brentford performance to do it.

{Ed003's Note - good call.}

2.) 02 May 2017 01:48:45
And we can hardly talk. PM made 10 changes every game and fielded our weakest team for the first 4 months of the season!

3.) 02 May 2017 06:18:24
Let's hope McCarthy thinks there season is over then and puts his reserves and youth out. if that happened it wouldn't be long before the efl did something against us.

{Ed001's Note - the EFL could not do anything against you. They could punish Ipswich Town, potentially, but not Forest.}

4.) 02 May 2017 08:18:49
Uptheforest

That is being a hypocrite.

5.) 02 May 2017 10:51:18
It is disappointing to see us putting effort in to trying to get another team penalised when 100% effort should be going in to getting a win on Sunday. The club only have themselves to blame and we are going to find out an awful lot on Sunday.

6.) 02 May 2017 12:00:14
GazzaRed

The team do only have themselves to blame if they go down, but if the powers that be determine that Huddersfield acted in such a manner that they have unjustly rested 10 players which then has had a vital input in helping to decide the final league table then they have to be punished appropriately.

A fine, unless it is a massive one, one that promotion would not make look like pocket change would be inappropriate.

7.) 02 May 2017 13:55:23
Mick Mccarthy did
it against man utd in 2009 while in charge of wolves 10 changes
Wolves were fined 25K
Ferguson did it in 2007 against West ham who needed to win to avoid relegation and West ham won 1 nil and Sheffield United went down.
No punishment for that one.
So there won't be any drastic actions against Huddersfield or any one else who does it.
Might as well scrap the rule if they going to just hand out futile fines
And even though West ham broke the rules on signing tevez and mascherano they still stayed in premier league
No matter the rule they never dish out a proper deterrent.
Let's just hope we stay up on Sunday and it will then have had no bearing on our fate.

8.) 02 May 2017 14:20:54
Forest 2 Ipswich 0 is my prediction.

9.) 02 May 2017 18:15:52
People on here saying we only have ourselves to blame over the corse of the season seem to be missing the point. birmingham have been just as poor as us and that's why they were down there with us, they then get a game against a bunch of reserves. why should they get an easy game after being just as bad as us over the season?

10.) 02 May 2017 18:41:26
Uptheforest

Get over it.

We all know what Huddersfield did was not sporting.

You have also shot yourself in the foot with your stance by saying you hope Ipswich play their reserves.

Two wrongs do not make a right.

11.) 02 May 2017 19:09:28
You are right, in so much it is morally wrong, but this is big business now and clubs aren't interested in other clubs problems
Wagner will say and in some ways quite justifiably that it was their 3 Rd game in 7 days so he has a valid excuse.

I understand why your angry but trust me I was more angry at Loftus road on Saturday watching them blow yet another opportunity to be safe, just like the Blackburn game, a point there and we would not be talking about this issue.
At least the players have one last opportunity to put things right and finish the job properly.

The situation where in is down to the players and it's their job to put things right.
Chin up mate I'd stop beating yourself up about it nothing is going to change the past.

12.) 02 May 2017 19:53:33
Why have I shot my self in the foot if it's ok for one team to get a helping hand why shouldn't others get a leg up same as them?
If forest were mid table nothing to play for and it was Huddersfield not certain of there fate or with a chance of autos and we fielded a reserve team against the main rivals would that be ok?
Simple fact is if forest did that we would have the book thrown at us 1 because of who we are and 2 because of our owner.

13.) 02 May 2017 19:57:18
The points a bit blunt now utf-it isn't going to change, it wasn't particularly sporting but there will be numerous incidents over a season that directly affect the outcome - a lot of these could be dealt with and rectified by clearer rules, strong officials and instructions to play in a more sporting manner) . Dodgy red and yellow cards, shirt pulling, taking a yellow card for the team, suspect penalties, free kicks, off sides etc. Some of these would have changed the results of games - shall we drag them all up or shall we accept that it's part of the game. A lot of the above are blatant cheating or poor officiating and the authorities can't stop them, do you really think they could implement a rule that stops a club actually playing their own registered players?

14.) 02 May 2017 20:26:17
Uptheforest

If you are going to take such a strong stance on what Huddersfield did, then how can you say it is ok for another team to do.

Yes it would help us, but if is such an inexcusable thing to do then then why is ok just because it helps us.

You also said they would throw the book at us because of our owner. Who is that exactly.

15.) 02 May 2017 20:59:46
If the debate was not about squad players actually playing in a game and was about how some clubs do seem to be treated differently I would be tempted to agree with you utf, but on this one you seem to be discussing two separate issues.

16.) 02 May 2017 22:21:20
They can throw as many books as they like but it results in fines rather than deducted or different points.

We should have enough to beat Ipswich. Taking my 4 year old up so death or glory!

17.) 02 May 2017 23:01:11
Luke

You are right, my preference is for them to have to play the same team they played against Birmingham in all their play off games. If they decide to punish them off course.

18.) 02 May 2017 23:05:24
You and your son have a great day.
Hopefully a glorious day.
Great shirt he's wearing nice to see parents bringing em up properly and supporting the local team.

Agree big 3 points missed today but it does make laugh when people say we should of played this player instead of that player and he should play here and there. It was only when we played Sheffield Wednesday that people were moaning that mccormack should of been on the bench and britt should of started and now it's the other way round it doesn't matter which one of are strikers plays we are never going to score when our midfield is so weak and can't create any chance for the strikers.

Well it doesn't matter who we have in charge know one will ever get a really go at management in this club a couple of defeats and he's not good enough for this level but it was only 2 weeks ago everybody was saying how great he was. Then let's give youth ago now your saying there not up to it again it was only the other week everyone wanted youth in the team. Also how can anybody win a game when they have a defence like ours today no really centre back in their and then we are back to the same thing it was the wrong formation we should of played this and that at the end of the day we are not good enough.

Got to agree with you red fred, I think we are all going to find this a long frustrating season if we keep trying to play out from the back we need to mix that up, a bit to predictable at times, we have found osborn replacement in dowell I can't see him starting against Brentford.

Who has gone up with weaker squads just because there not the type of player or team you see as attractive doesn't mean they are weaker.
