Hope Peirera sees through McAtee quickly and sends him on loan to Coventry or Mansfield even. Still waiting for whoever recommended him for thirty four million pounds to be sacked.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Feb 2026 16:40:36
McAtee is an excellent young player that's why he was made England U 21 captain.

15 Feb 2026 19:22:01
Rhr is excellent at walking slow on a treadmill, Munmad. ???

15 Feb 2026 20:29:37
No, you're incorrect, DTP. He's 12 stone 4 lb of solid rock. ???

15 Feb 2026 20:37:39
You Carlton lads. ????

16 Feb 2026 05:26:45
Get it right, it's Carlton Palmer who doesn't live anywhere near Tyneside. ???

15 Feb 2026 13:59:57
Nice to see a Birmingham equalizer against Leeds. Extra time should put a bit more wear and tear on their players and squad ?. Looking forward to a physical 30 minutes. Disappointing though to see Birmingham's shooting and corners look better than ours!

15 Feb 2026 13:37:51
Theee at the back

Two holding mids

Four players in middle of park leg and right wingbacks and two central numbers 10's or an inside left and an inside right to give them their old title

1 striker up top supported by the wingbacks with crosses and through balls from the 10's what's not to like????.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Feb 2026 13:29:50
Our set piece takers imo need to be Neco Williams from the right and Murrilo from the left imo as Anderson Gibbs White and Hutchinson are awful floaty crosses which either don't beat the first ma man are collected easily by the keeper or are too long for a bull giraffe to get his head on

Never ming our defensive set piece problems! Where is our set piece coach.

15 Feb 2026 13:50:39
Nice to see Panzo having a great match against Leeds. Played once for us, I think, one of the 30 we signed when Cooper was in charge. Well done. There is life after Forest.

15 Feb 2026 19:30:03
He's 30 years old now, Redjester, and has just racked up 100 appearances for more clubs than Rory McIlroy has had. Played about a dozen for Coventry, and that's a good output for him at one club.

15 Feb 2026 09:26:28
Victor Pereira has got a massive challenge in his first 2 weeks in charge 5 games Fenerbahce twice Liverpool at home and Brighton and Man City away!

He will need to be very astute what teams he picks in the European games as Premier League survival is the most important

Our abject failure in Braga has caused us massive problems

He will need the so called fringe players to step up and perform

Ndoye McAtee Hutchinson will be utilised and Cunha will be as well imo as he likes to play 3 at the back

Williams and Aina will have to play both games as Netz is not in the squad

In the 3 Premier League games we need min 4 pts imo we need to beat Giropool and draw at Brighton as Man City is a freebie as I expect zilch in that game.

The bottling snowflakes have done the damage. Bottling it at home to Palace and Wolves has finished us. As I said in an earlier post, our best players would have left in the summer anyway, and we would have blown it on rubbish.

We will have to use the proceeds to settle the bills, which is better for the long term sustainability of the club. Financially, we will be in deep trouble if we carry on like this.

15 Feb 2026 10:25:20
We'll be ok now, the players won't be beasted in training.

15 Feb 2026 12:13:45
Gold Stars, I thought the players stepped up against Palace, tbh, doing well with 10 men for 50 minutes. We didn't play well against Wolves, and it's extraordinary we couldn't score from 35 shots, 10 on target. Wolves are ?, agreed, but Nuno's Hammers did even worse than us against them.

Don't forget the 2nd worst team in the Prem, Burnley, beat Glasner's bottlers Palace, even with 60 million worth of forwards added. There are quirky results, and Wolves was certainly one.

15 Feb 2026 13:00:00
It's official. He's here, surely he can get this lot playing again? Time will tell. FTID!!!!

15 Feb 2026 13:10:49
Club Statement: "Nottingham Forest would like to welcome Vitor Pierira as our new Team Manager. We would like to thank Vitor for all his hard work, and wish him every success for the future." ???

15 Feb 2026 13:29:34
Head of bottle banking. Sell the lot of them.

15 Feb 2026 13:53:19
Nuno's bottlers and Glasner's bottlers will be put to shame by our bottlers. If there was a league table for bottlers, our bottlers would be miles in front of the next best bottlers.

Nuno will keep West Ham up at a canter, they're flying now. Well done to them, master class in collective effort. Unlike us, where the bottlers snitch on the coach cos they don't like running.

15 Feb 2026 14:48:40
That a lot of "Bottles" 2 Stars!!. ?

15 Feb 2026 15:13:09
Lol, R! Always rely on you for a bit of a laugh, mate - nice one. ?

15 Feb 2026 16:21:26
Thought your post was "Crate!!", mate. ???

15 Feb 2026 16:48:03
Maybe Glasner was our man, mate. I think he'd have been crate!

15 Feb 2026 17:19:14
Don't you mean Glass-ner, mate??? ??? Ok, I'll stop, lol.

15 Feb 2026 22:02:16
Pineapple, how do you know "players are 'beasted' in training"?

15 Feb 2026 08:24:53
I hope the new manager sorts out our set pieces. Its bad that we can't put the ball in the box from a corner or a set pieces. Its criminal however though that in the 6 months +, its been happening that nobody has looked at it / remedied it / trained on it. We're supposed to be a professional club. League one teams perform better in that area.

We've seen how Arsenal have used set pieces to gain an edge. Here at Forest, we can't even beat the first man. Even podcasts like the football ramble have picked up on it and joke about it. If Perreira does one thing, I really really really hope he fixes that aspect of things.

Agree2 Disagree0

15 Feb 2026 10:26:49
Have you seen this guy's record? He ain't sorting anything other than finishing the job AP and SD started.

15 Feb 2026 12:15:18
Yep, it's started over again, folks. The new manager hasn't even been appointed yet, but he's finished already. ???? ??

15 Feb 2026 12:58:29
We could just give him a chance. But why do that?

15 Feb 2026 13:32:00
Cos I'm a paying fan and I'll have my say. He's a pathetic appointment, same as the other two. You know, for an ex law enforcer, Stokey, you seem to want to defend the indefensible.

15 Feb 2026 13:47:57
You should write a letter to the people at the club who decide on who the new coach will be, and tell them that you know better than they do without any doubt, and that they should consult you alone first before offering anyone a job. Then we will win the league and all the trophies in one season.

15 Feb 2026 15:19:02
Yep, and they'd agree, and would have to concede I'm right, and it's only because no one else wants the job that it's gone to this clown. If they'd listened to anyone with a brain, they wouldn't have employed AP and backed Nuno over Edu.

So yes, I'm right, they're wrong, and the disaster unfolding before our eyes only proves I'm right. Wouldn't you say, Snowman? Not sure about the trophies, perhaps a step too far, but thanks for the vote of confidence, Snowman - I appreciate it.

15 Feb 2026 23:17:52
Proud of ya 2star bud ?

15 Feb 2026 06:21:22

Nice one, Eds. ?

15 Feb 2026 15:41:12
Could we have a reason as to why some of our posts get deleted, Eds?

{Ed033's Note - This is a football site, it's not a soap opera obsessed site, it's not a politics site, it's not a site for Trump obsessed people. This is not a 'be overly derogatory to other posters' web site.

15 Feb 2026 17:31:29
That generally depends on who is posting it, though. It's not really the same rule for everyone.

{Ed033's Note - There are multiple ways of expressing yourself without going over the top.

15 Feb 2026 17:57:24
Nor an English punctuation-obsessed site either ED033.
By the way, you should have put semi-colons between your points.

{Ed033's Note - Well done.

15 Feb 2026 19:16:21
Think the Eds are very fair to all posters, you have to accept when we cross the line even if it's due to provocation.

14 Feb 2026 20:34:20
Parker will be sacked.
Dyche to Burnley - 3 points at Forest for Burnley …….

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Feb 2026 21:35:17
Dyche certainly won't be out of work for long.

14 Feb 2026 22:15:02
Perhaps he can take Leicester down to League 1.

14 Feb 2026 23:17:35
I'm a Nottingham Forest fan, Stokey, certainly not a Dyche fan. You like him? Then that's your choice.

15 Feb 2026 12:17:21
Yes, it's all about choices and opinions on here, DTP. By the way, I've replied to your earlier statistical analysis post if you can be bothered to actually read and digest it...

15 Feb 2026 16:35:29
I read your long-winded reply, Stokey. Nothing wrong with my maths or reading. Dyche got 12 points from a possible 30 in his last ten Premier League games. And that's why he's gone, because most games were against teams around us.

15 Feb 2026 18:55:12
Last 10 included teams around us, yes like Brentford, Arsenal, Man City, Fulham, Everton. Practically neck and neck with those guys aren't we DTP?
I agree that 12 points from 30 is poor but only if you are chasing titles like Arsenal or Man City. You may not have noticed that we are at the other end of the table fighting for Prem survival in which it's a pretty reasonable return.
"Nothing wrong with my maths" must be your best ever blunder. As I said, a spectacular own goal.

Let me explain as simply as I can, using YOUR stats not mine
So 12 points from 10 games extrapolated equals 24 points from 20 games equals
36 points from 30, with 8 games to spare.

Do you see where I'm going with this?
I'll make it even simpler
Dyche got 22 points from 18 games which
extrapolated is 44 points from 36 games with 2 games spare.
As I said mid table safety. Obviously you can't blame Dyche for the meagre 7 points obtained from the 8 games under Nuno and Postacoglau.

I don't blame you for being poor at maths, that happens to a lot of people and can't be helped. But I do blame you for not being man enough to admit that you are demonstrably wrong.

15 Feb 2026 22:03:51
DTP, I never mentioned reading in my post, by the way.

14 Feb 2026 20:08:57
I just want to wish all of my fellow Reds a very Happy Valentines Day. I love you all X

Yes, I have been drinking wine.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Feb 2026 21:35:51
Love you too, Lego. ???

14 Feb 2026 23:24:43
Thank you, Stokey. Against Dr's orders, I've had the best part of two bottles of white wine tonight! Being Valentine's Day, I'm trying to persuade Mrs Legolas to come to bed with me for a bit of 'stumpy sex'. She doesn't seem very keen. If I don't post on this site again, you'll know why.

15 Feb 2026 00:09:01
Well, you assumed I was the worse for wear the other night? And now you are actually bragging about it? I suppose if it suits, it's OK?

14 Feb 2026 18:30:06
This Villa Newcastle game is exhibit A, in why we need VAR.

Goal offside. If that wasn't a red card for Digne, I don't know what is.

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Feb 2026 19:08:11
VAR scourge of the game I’ll take borderline offside decisions, small prove to pay, and yes it was a sending off, but the ref didn’t need VAR to see that, his opinion was just different to yours and mine, they can stick VAR where the sun don’t shine, anyway it’s against Newcastle so it’s all good for me, belated karma for 1974, ?never forget, never forgive.

14 Feb 2026 19:09:09
And then a hand ball miles inside the box given as a free kick.

14 Feb 2026 20:34:18
I’ve always thought VAR should be similar to how they use Hawkeye in Cricket.

If it’s a close offside decision like a finger nail for example then the on field decision should stand.

But a clear and obvious mistake like the game tonight VAR should come into play.

14 Feb 2026 21:38:15
Good post, Pineapple. I've been saying this for a long time about VAR and how they should follow "Umpire's Call" in cricket. No ref ever in the history of football would have been criticised if he made a wrong decision about the width of a toenail being offside.

15 Feb 2026 07:18:33
The ref should never be allowed to referee another professional match. Send him to Sunday league football.
