We're after Musonda from Chelsea on loan according to Telegraph. Not sure if he's a forward or attacking midfielder. Wonder what that says about the likes of Zach.

Actually there's no chance, is there? "Yeah I'm an old friend of Jose. Hello?. Hello?"

2.) 11 Jan 2018 23:29:07
I must admit ?
I didn't see that one coming? 😂😂😂

3.) 11 Jan 2018 23:34:11
Charly Musonda looks a class act and surely Chelsea will insist on him having game time, could be bad news for a few of our youngsters.

4.) 12 Jan 2018 01:19:48
I believe he can play Central attacking midfield or deeper or right wing. He is class of a deal can be done it would be great.
Him or Cash on the right side, Dowell or him in Centre and Clough or Osbourn on the left. I would think it may mean Carayol and Ward might be moved on though.

5.) 12 Jan 2018 14:27:31
Class act so is brereton and clough if given a chance.

6.) 13 Jan 2018 12:52:23
See Johnsons article in the Post. 2 hopes. bob and none.

7.) 13 Jan 2018 14:36:03
2 chances too, fat and no.👍

8.) 13 Jan 2018 19:13:20
We've just no spark tonight,Villa seem to have us sussed, they look so comfortable, rarely threatening.

Burnley to offer £12m for Worrall? Well this is probably the acid test for our club. If this Forest lad through and through takes this opportunity to jump ship then we'll all know the state of our beloved club. Who would you trust with your future career? Dyche who has worked miracles within a "small" club or Warburton. The arrogant, inflexible over-analyst who once worked in a bank? Dyche is even a better investment analyst than MW as he - somehow - got a fee for Darikwa. Keep Joe. Get Vellios' Dad in as manager!

1.) 31 Dec 2017 08:38:24
With Burnley sat where they are in the Premiership and Premier league wages. Who'd blame the lad if he went. I wouldn't hang around Forest playing for a manager and team going no where. Good luck Joe.

2.) 31 Dec 2017 08:43:53
I know who I would trust to get the best out of a half decent set of players and he isn’t at forest.

3.) 31 Dec 2017 09:43:46
After resisting Burnley so long when they were trying to tap up Lansbury, I hope we don't sell. Sadly a year is a long time in football, £75mill gets you a centre half apparently.😲 Personally, I'd chance my arm and ask for £20 mill and just hope Joe is a club man and stays.

4.) 31 Dec 2017 10:39:45
We need to strengthen the defence and we need to sell before we can buy so I'd try and get £15 million for him. Even if we have to settle for £12 million we can bring a few good defenders for that amount. I, for one, would feel no animosity towards the lad if he went to the Premier League because he won't be getting there with Forest anytime soon.

5.) 31 Dec 2017 10:52:20
Turns out this could all be a false alarm. It's come from The S*n 'newspaper' which is never that reliable in reporting 'news'.

Why is David O'Leary creeping up the betting? The last time he managed a team the fine for turning up to training late was five shillings and a packet of Spangles (Ask your Dad. )

hogpuma

1.) 08 Jan 2018 15:38:35
He was in the crowd just behind Wenger.
A few might have put a bet on,some will bet on anything.

Mark Warburton's just turned to his wife and said "Darikwa would've had three by now."

hogpuma

1.) 07 Jan 2018 17:12:31
Hogpuma, Warburton turned to his wife and said "I knew I should of used the book of football tactics you got me for Xmas and I may still of been in a job?" PMSL...

Paul Taylor watching the U23's today. Quote:

"There is clearly a blueprint in place here. Forest very much playing the Warburton way, even at under-23 level. It is like watching a junior version of the senior side. "

Yeah, Paul, it went EXACTLY like the senior side. It finished 4-4!

Personally I don't think there's a more exciting and exasperating team in the world to support, but would we have it any other way?

COYR!

Have a quick look at the league table. I know its early days but 5 out of the current top 6 were still facing possible relegation two weeks before the end of last season. So what does that tell us? Everything and nothing. I mean it just goes to show that there isn't a magic formula for success in the Championship. Luck plays a big part and hanging on in the last 10 minutes is a vital quality in this league. Other than that you've got to realise that for almost every club in the Champ its going to be win a few, lose a few. I just think we might be getting very close to getting more wins than losses. Well done everyone in red today! COYR.

Great news that Ben has signed a contract for 4 years. I know that makes it look more likely that Britt leaves but there's absolutely no point in considering it before January. By then we will know how close to the FFP margins we are sailing and can make a judgement then. If we're top 8 he's going to stay. Anything lower in January an he'll be off to a Prem team if he's scored anything over 10 goals by then.

hogpuma

1.) 22 Jun 2017 13:32:27
It may also make it look like Britt is staying, depending what your inclinations are.

2.) 22 Jun 2017 20:38:49
I'm struggling to see how it can possibly be could news that BB has signed if that increasing the likelihood of BA being sold. On the evidence in front of us right now there is no striker at the club who comes close. If selling BB guaranteed the future of BA BB would be sold if I had my way.

3.) 22 Jun 2017 20:50:06
I think we now have 4 excellent young strikers Brereton, Britt, Vellious and Cummings! They each bring something different to Warbos options and I think all 4 will be kept unless really silly money is thrown at us. With suspensions, injuries, loss of form and a long, long season ahead we 'll need all 4 and the manager is now blessed with good choices up top ie the putting g it in the onion bag business end of the team.

4.) 22 Jun 2017 21:28:32
I hope you're right stokey.

5.) 23 Jun 2017 09:17:53
As fast as Warbo builds a balanced squad some fans start to dismantle it by fueling sales speculation of our best players?

The owners have committed to giving Warbo time so they are hardly going to pull the rug from under him by selling the players he clearly wants to stay!

We have moved on from Fawaz/ Doughty fire sales so please keep up with the programmeand stop fueling the media sales fire?

6.) 23 Jun 2017 17:23:28
Britt's going nowhere!

Was he not also the Poacher in Withnail? We'll take another goal poacher if he's as good as Murphy, Cummings and McKay.

Negotiations are ongoing over Aiden Flint from Bristol City. Apparently we've offered £7m cash or £8m plus Mills.

Well he must be on the bench on Saturday? It can't just be Ward and Walker can it? What if Ben B gets injured? Imagine the anger and backlash that MW will face if Vellios nets a couple against Wolves. I'm backing the Apostle. Its Roy of the Rovers stuff. Did they have that in Greece? Ioannis of the Acropolis? COYR!!!

You're right, exile. We haven't got time in January to restructure. If we could get a few more points on the board in the next few games then the pressure is off in the last 10 games and we could try to tinker and blood more youngsters when we're mathematically safe. In that case isn't there a case for Karanka to call in some favours for say a 3 month loan? Jose, we need some muscle in midfield. Got or know anyone? We don't really have the breathing space yet to risk rusty or under-confident players.

I also think that Karanka would know exactly how a player being played out of position would feel. They're not going to be happy because its not playing to their strengths, but they're not going to object because they're playing. Warburton perhaps couldn't understand that. He should maybe have listened to Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic Park when it comes to playing the Bens on the wing/left back: "We spent so long thinking about whether we could, we didn't stop to think about whether we should."

Red you mentioned how well Ben played and it got me worried that Heckingbottom has never worked with such a promising club and international player. He obviously has his merits but right then I hoped we weren't looking at him seriously for that reason. I'm pleased we seem to have landed the best of the realistic targets. Just a shame that Ben Brereton club seems to be defunct now. We still don't mention him, but this morning every national newspaper did. Hands off Jürgen, Jose, Arsene and Mauricio. We saw him first. Well, Stoke did, but you know what I mean. COYR!!!
