Talking to the waiters here, I missed Bobby Zamora by a few weeks. They hold kids football coaching sessions here run by Anton Ferdinand and Joe Hart amongst others.

Unlucky Stokey mate.

Unlucky Stokey mate.
Welcome back!
06 Oct 2025 09:56:53
Has he gone yet? 🙄🤔.
06 Oct 2025 11:45:30
Unfortunately I fear we are stuck with him till Xmas. The Board can't see through him, though maybe Rafa is waiting in the wings, though I'm afraid he won't be much help either.
06 Oct 2025 17:00:07
Stokey vanishes and DTP is posting. DTP vanishes and Stokey is posting. Hmmm.
06 Oct 2025 18:17:02
I don’t know about that Silk but people have said that you never see me and Daniel Craig in the same room at the same time………😂😂😂😂.
06 Oct 2025 20:16:46
I, m very happy to see Stokie back but!
06 Oct 2025 09:56:37
Sack Postacoglu now Mr M swallow your pride and appoint Sean Dyche as interim manager until the end of the season
I know a lot of people will say Dycheball but he's never had the players to play any other way he would have now. But he's never would solve the set piece problems and make us difficult to beat at least.
06 Oct 2025 10:09:12
All for that mate, get back to being solid and regain some confidence. 🌳.
06 Oct 2025 10:51:06
Good posts! Personally i'd have nurtured and re enforced Nuno if I was the owner but that’s what happens when Alpha males run the show, especially with Edu thrown into the mix. I’d have Dyche anytime. Like many British coaches he’s never had the talent we have at his disposal but he’s always done a lot with a little. Any port in a storm.
As Tony Pulis used to say “ Give me Arsenals budget and I’ll get Stoke City to play like Arsenal. Until that happens we’ll play like Stoke City”…….
06 Oct 2025 11:24:26
Always liked Dyche a good team behind him so not against him being coach but not sure now, except I know he will jump at it, wanted him to come around Coopers time he knows how to keep a team competing in the Premier can't believe we are talking about a new coach 3rd one this season 🤡🤔🤔.
06 Oct 2025 12:07:37
Dyche. yep 👍🏻.
06 Oct 2025 12:21:22
The players were no not bad at Everton when Dyce was there, so had good players to work with, but his play bored the supporters to death and he lost the changing room, the Forest players would have to buy into his tactics which I douth, massive retro step backwards!.
06 Oct 2025 13:13:21
Dyche for God's sake are you all shell shock? Talk about thinking big, the man's never done anything and never will. You'll be shouting for Steve Bruce Alan Curbishly and Peter Reid. Give your heads a wobble lads 🤣🤣.
06 Oct 2025 13:14:42
Love how we're all now clamoring for another bus conductor🤣. Screw your pretty tippy tappy s💩💩te lol. 🌳.
06 Oct 2025 13:56:54
DTP to replace Ange.
06 Oct 2025 15:18:33
If Dyche was Nunos replacement instead of Postecoglou this site would have imploded 🙂.
06 Oct 2025 15:31:34
DTP is replacing Alan Tichmarsh😉🌳.
06 Oct 2025 16:52:51
Dyche is just a raspy voiced Chris Wilder 🤦.
06 Oct 2025 09:38:03
I'm Spartacus!
06 Oct 2025 09:51:50
No I’m Spartacus.
06 Oct 2025 09:59:02
So Russell Martin need a "Police Escort" out of Ibrox yesterday. I thought they done away with those cars years ago!
🤭🤭🤭.
06 Oct 2025 10:15:17
Mark 1 Rogie with the flared wheel arches 🤣🌳.
06 Oct 2025 10:57:15
Driven a few of them Rogie back in the day. We used to. clean them out every Sunday morning, duties permitting. Some Officers weren’t as conscientious as my shift. We found the dead and rotting body of a dog killed in an RTA one hot summers day mangled in the undercarriage. Searched everywhere for the source of the smell before we looked underneath. 🤢🤢🤢.
06 Oct 2025 11:09:43
In Forest Red too mate!
Or a Ford Capri!
06 Oct 2025 12:09:40
Omg, Stokey. that's must have been a nightmare!
06 Oct 2025 18:10:20
Just one of many, many nightmares Rogie ……😂😂😂.
06 Oct 2025 09:14:56
I challenge all to name a team they would have chosen that would have led to a better result yesterday. We do not have a bruiser like Bruno or a player like Tonali. Otherwise we matched them.
06 Oct 2025 09:52:18
There's only Munmad who is prepared to give that a go mate and he gets slated for it so I doubt you're going to get many replies.
For my part, I would find it difficult to name a team until they are all fit but I would definitely revert back to 4231.
06 Oct 2025 07:55:14
Morning all. There is a new manager entering the race for the Forest job. He is Neal, my local coop store manager. Knows nothing about football and is as dull as dishwater so compares well to the current incumbent. But his surname of smith is easier to spell than Posta-no-clue.
06 Oct 2025 16:50:15
Cometh the hour cometh the man, come home the son of "God", I don't mean Igor. It's time for Mr Nigel Clough!, I really hope it happens in my life time.
06 Oct 2025 07:55:05
Looking at what happened at Rangers with Russell Martin, police escort and all, how long does Postoleglou get?. I think give him till January, we should have some players back and take a look then, i just hope we don't go back to the Ron Atkinson days of save us and get a massive bonus!, Rafas already waiting in the wings.
06 Oct 2025 09:11:58
At least Ange got the right Dugout!
🤭🤭🤭.
06 Oct 2025 07:39:44
{Ed's Note - NewPaisley79 has posted a new article entitled, Key Issues Liverpool FC Need To Address
05 Oct 2025 22:58:01
Couldn't tell in real time but that was 100% a foul on MGW for their opening goal, takes the p*ss VAR did nothing. 🌳.
05 Oct 2025 23:13:02
And adding to that, the elbow from the burnley lad, how isn't that a red? VAR is a fooking joke🌳.
06 Oct 2025 05:43:40
Never a foul. Guimaraes got the ball first.
06 Oct 2025 07:38:04
Wouldn't be Forest if we hadn't ridiculous decisions against us. MOTD never even mentioned it! 🤯🤯🤯.
06 Oct 2025 07:52:41
Add to that the foul in the build up to the Danish sides breakaway third goal.
06 Oct 2025 09:10:02
MOTD didn't mention it because it wasn't a foul. Not worth mentioning as it was nowhere near a foul.
06 Oct 2025 09:54:33
Agreed Ravers. No foul.
06 Oct 2025 10:02:22
Ravers, he may of got a touch on the ball but running through the back of a player is still a foul, i believe these days its called excessive force. Granted i'm all for more contact and proper tackles but nine times out of ten that's a foul. Just want some consistency from the officials, its not like they don't have two opportunities to make the correct decision what with VAR always being eager to interfere. 🌳.
05 Oct 2025 20:49:35
Aren’t we just about where we were when Nuno came, if we had to forfeit 4 points we’d be equal bottom.
It’s beyond belief.
05 Oct 2025 19:36:14
Hello youreds thought I'd best introduce myself. Lifelong forest fan just born at the wrong end of the a52, first game. Southampton at home 1975/ 76 just moved to Spain had enough of British weather, anyway uuureds.
05 Oct 2025 20:16:08
SHEEP ALERT! SHEEP ALERT!
05 Oct 2025 20:18:50
Welcome, but I think your username will ruffle a few feathers on here!
05 Oct 2025 20:33:11
Is that the Southampton match that was postponed because of fog? Is so, I was there.
05 Oct 2025 20:54:10
You can't pull the "Wool" over our eyes mate!
🤣🤣🤣.
05 Oct 2025 21:04:10
Isn't Jack Grealish a decent down to earth top bloke!
Saw his interview, comes across as a genuine guy.
Hope you get to the World Cup mate.
05 Oct 2025 22:31:23
🐑🪓 Enough said. 🌳.
06 Oct 2025 07:39:45
You probably couldn't have seen him anyway Gazibaldi!
🤣🤣🤣.
06 Oct 2025 08:52:05
Rogie, Grealish blotted his copy book a bit during Covid when, as captain of Aston Villa, he led a campaign in Brum, with death rates rising exponentially, to stay indoors and isolate. Then was caught on the razz with his mates.
Apart from being a hypocrite and Trumpian levels of adultery he’s a good guy mate! 😂😂😂😂😂.
06 Oct 2025 09:54:52
Redram, mate, be careful not to get “baaahed”!
05 Oct 2025 18:55:21
I haven't seen today's game or the defeat to the Danish Pork Butchers 11 as I'm on my hols in Spain and couldn't find the games on TV or in a bar.
In general terms Postecoglou is, imo, a poor fit and appointed at the wrong time.
Firstly, our success in getting into Europe is based on a solid defence and quick counter attacking football last season ( in the fine tradition of Cloughies teams). I don't see the point of appointing an attacking coach who doesn't play to our strengths and particularly with no pre season and no time to coach the team ( and the 13 new transfer window arrivals ) in the new methods with the season well under way.
Ok I have some sympathy with Ange because he's been thrown in at the deep end and has had bad luck with injuries to key players like Aina and Murillo. As Napoleon said, it's better to have a lucky General than a good one.
I do agree that we needed to expand the squad to cope with the extra Europa games with the associated air miles and loss of recovery time between games. The jury is out on recruitment. For example Zinchenko is the slowest full back I think I've ever seen at the WFCG, exposed against Sunderland. Ndoye has good skills but lacks Elangas blistering pace to get away from his marker, having beaten him at close quarters. Wood looks a shadow of his former self in Anges new system. Jesus looks like he has potential.
A word of warning. The Coates betting billionaires who own Stoke City got rid of Tony Pulis because of his dire but successful ultra defensive tactics which involved getting the ball off the pitch as often as possible and breaking up the play based around a great goalkeeper Begovic ( like us) two massive and ruthless centre backs, Huth and Shawcross ( ditto) and a big old fashioned centre forward Kenwyn Jones ( ditto Wood). He brought in more attacking coachs and look where they are now.
I'm not saying we are as dire as Stoke were. They were exceptionally anti football ( see Jonathon Wilson's excellent book " The Inverted Pyramid " for their exceptional negativity analysed statistically)
Ange is in the same position as Nuno when he first arrived and Cooper before him in terms of preparation for his new era and, like them, it's going to be a struggle.
05 Oct 2025 19:35:47
Nice to see you posting again Stokey. Miss your Monday reviews!
05 Oct 2025 19:47:55
Good to see you posting stokey.
05 Oct 2025 19:53:54
Welcome back Stokey mate.
05 Oct 2025 19:59:30
It's good to have you back on here my friend. I've missed your anti-brevity posts! As such, I've just requested another appointment at Plymouth Eye Hospital.
As we all know too well, being a Forest fan has always been a roller-coaster ride. However, my biggest worry at the moment is how quickly the passion and belief from last mid-season has evaporated.
How we all regain that passion and belief is ultimately down to Big M - and his personal struggle between reality vs his own ego.
06 Oct 2025 08:56:10
I guess my post is just a long winded way of saying “be careful what you wish for “ mate.
Anyway, off to the pool with my light holiday reading “Judgement at Tokyo” by Gary J. Bass, a magisterial account of the Japanese post WW2 war crimes trials…. 🙄😀🤔.
