If we donโ€™t win against Sheff Utd then we deserve relegation. The appointment of Nuno Dispiriting Santo has been a disaster. Still no solution to the defensive set piece situation, though in his defence, and I canโ€™t believe Iโ€™m writing this, he has had some bad refereeing decisions during his tenure. The draw against injury ravaged Wolves at home was the.

29 Apr 2024 21:23:37
He just doesn't show enough passion compared to Klopp, Kompany, Guardiola. and nearly all the others in the Premier League.

29 Apr 2024 17:33:20
Brereton for a hat trick on Saturday how ironic that would be ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜…They are definitely one of the poorest teams I've seen in the prem so no less than 3 points please boys.

Agree2 Disagree0

29 Apr 2024 13:44:21
Can't defend + can't score is a recipe for disaster.
Nuno must have them in everyday and work on shooting drills nothing else. We are going to have to score more than the opposition ala Kevin Keegan style!
Get them hitting the onion sack time after time after time, all different types of goals. Tap in's, slide ins, shots from outside the box, damn, that'll be a first and headers. Goals goals goals in training might result in a couple in the real world. Bring on the blunt Blades!

29 Apr 2024 14:19:07
Roystone I remember when Steve Cooper arrived his first ever training and get to know the players session consisted of them shooting non stop and having a laugh and relaxing. It obviously worked because they never looked back after that for the rest of the season! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜.

29 Apr 2024 15:01:41
They certainly looked back the season after though stokie. Couldn't buy a win and away, well you know the rest ๐ŸŽˆ.

29 Apr 2024 17:01:01
No they didnโ€™t Balloons, SC kept us up against the odds the season after mate! Thank God weโ€™ve come on in leaps and bounds since he was sacked eh? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป.

29 Apr 2024 17:31:44
Clutching at straws again he dropped freuler which took long enough everyone could see he was shite but he was a favourite then he stopped parking the bus and let them play football then the next season he went straight back to parking the bus and after all them losses and the tedious football nearly as bad as your long comments on history. that's what he became history ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ.

29 Apr 2024 18:05:03
We're in exactly the same position, floundering in the basement stokie.
As Leo Tolstoy said he who flounders gets fish with his chips.
Scene 7 Act 4. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŽˆ.

29 Apr 2024 20:19:59
We were also 5 points clear of relegation when Cooper left. We are still (if you add the deducted points back on) exactly 5 points clear. That means under Nuno we have scored a point less than Luton, who we were 6 points above when Coops left. This is what relegation form looks like.

Derby fans might think that's a good thing, but that isn't surprising, is it?

29 Apr 2024 20:34:33
I'm reliably informed that under nuno the players only train for one hour a day.

29 Apr 2024 22:17:22
Once again boys Cooper's history and in the past now let it go let it go ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ.

29 Apr 2024 22:51:22
Stella, mate, youโ€™ve entirely excised the season where SC kept us up, erased from memory as if it never happened. As for history, thatโ€™s truly Stalinesque. I guess the logical next step is for SC to become a none person and never coached Forest at all! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜.

29 Apr 2024 23:08:04
Stokey skeeggs would never understand a word of that.

01 May 2024 00:23:53
It's Orwellian. You can't say this, you can't say that. Don't mention the past. ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜‚.

29 Apr 2024 12:56:45
So we played well yesterday much more positive in our play and game plan. The difference is Haaland one chance one goal, that's we he plays for an elite club and Woods is playing for a relegation fighting team. Not knocking Woods but that's the truth. City get the chances we had it 4 or 5 0 win to them easy.
It was the old adage I'm afraid where a team struggling play well have chances don't score, and you just know the better team will eventually punish them. Same adage afyer that, the poorer team have chances to equalise, don't take them then the better team kill the game off. We've all seen it a thousand times.
Pep blamed the dry pitch for Forest missing those chances which helped City. A few rumours flying about we did that to disrupt the City play, but still we got to take a couple of them chances. Mind you if we play like that last 3 games, with the sheclkes off we may just about be OK. Let's keep our fingers, toes and everything crossed we get a couple points back aswell.

29 Apr 2024 14:01:02
Did Pep see the weather all morning it was slinging it down!

29 Apr 2024 14:14:46
Changed your tune quick from yesterday morning Clough what was it we would be 3 or 4 down in the first half hour ๐Ÿค”.

29 Apr 2024 14:21:28
I think he meant โ€œdryโ€ in comparison to Manchester. Incidentally, the damp climate up there was a major factor in the 18th century growth of the cotton industry and all those โ€œdark Satanic millsโ€!

29 Apr 2024 14:31:34
Tell me more stokey ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚.

29 Apr 2024 16:20:31

CARLO.

29 Apr 2024 17:29:09
Alright Alright skeggy Jay fair enough. They certainly surprised me with how they approached and played the game. But we are talking about the same team who thumped Brighton days before, you can't blame me for thinking that especially as with the a few games to go we just about keeping our head above water. Mind you we don't generally get thumped by the top teams at home.

29 Apr 2024 18:24:02
Stella, mate, for next time you are on your recliner ( and thereโ€™s no football on, pick up two great novels by the Victorian writer Elizabeth Gaitskill. One is called โ€œMary Bartonโ€ and the other is โ€œNorth and Southโ€ about the hard life of Manchester mill workers. Both are absolutely brilliant! ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿ˜ด.

29 Apr 2024 18:27:05
By the way, do you know why there is a statue of President Abraham Lincoln in Manchester? ๐Ÿค”.

29 Apr 2024 20:25:14
๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ stokey i just haven't got the patience to read a book my idea of reading a book is first page and go to the last page straight after book done ๐Ÿคฃ.

29 Apr 2024 20:36:26
No but he'll Google it for sure.

29 Apr 2024 22:19:01
DTP how's your predictions going this season Luton cooper forest getting annulated by city your on a bad run mate ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ.

29 Apr 2024 22:37:22
So is your spelling
Still won three and half grand over Christmas
So not to bad skeggs.

29 Apr 2024 12:46:39
Who would you pick as player of the season this year for me Murrilo then Williams

Flop of the season Sangare by a mile I'll never forgive him for high fiving Idriisa Guey at half time at Goodison Park should have been disciplined for that

Disgrace to our club imo.

Agree2 Disagree0

29 Apr 2024 13:35:36
Murrilo all day long been so consistent.

29 Apr 2024 13:48:13
Murillo definitely player of the season. Sangare biggest waste of money. He might be better next season.

29 Apr 2024 14:16:22
Never should of wasted money on him god knows how we're going to get any of that sort of money back from his sale.

29 Apr 2024 15:06:24
Marillo can't win a ariel duel to save his life and Williams can't shoot or cross.
There is no player of the season. Slugging it out with Luton and can't buy win. Shambles of a season. There all stealing a living. ๐ŸŽˆ.

29 Apr 2024 16:45:30
Positive as usual balloons!

29 Apr 2024 18:08:06
Only speaking the truth Mun ๐ŸŽˆ.

29 Apr 2024 19:06:20
That's so unfair Munmad?
You caught him on a good day!
๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„.

29 Apr 2024 20:37:42
You wouldn't know the truth if it bit you on the arse.

29 Apr 2024 22:19:45
U on the old ub40 DTP ๐Ÿคฃ.

29 Apr 2024 12:27:00
Well I stayed up until the end of the first half (2.15am) , thought we were brilliant. Neco can't cross or finish, MGW has an average set piece (would like to see neco take some) and I thought Danilo despite his immense work ethic was sloppy and careless with his passing. Could have scored 2-3 over the whole game. Really proud of he boys effort and NES got the tactics spot on. Almost out thought pep. Players just aren't at the quality (yet) to convert hose chances on a regular basis.

Agree2 Disagree0

29 Apr 2024 12:42:58
Yeah, I thought we could have had at least a couple.

I think maybe Wood is feeking the pressure of being the main striker right now, wish we coud have had Awoniyi back for the run in, big loss.

Fair play, despite the result, thought we played well and looked really dangerous at times but no end product. They will be league champions for sure but gave them a very good game.

29 Apr 2024 12:12:40
The only other points I'd make are that.
Firstly, we've found a decent goalkeeper at last
Secondly, at last, we played 3 centre backs and looked more solid especially with a beast like Boly back
Thirdly it's nice to be talking football rather than reffing incompetence and bloody VAR. I thought the ref did ok. You can always tell he's had a reasonable game when you don't really notice him ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘.

Agree2 Disagree0

29 Apr 2024 11:51:24
I would have definitely swap the.
wingers over yesterday, Elanga so much more of a threat on the left and has the pace to trouble Walker.
Both played well but both could, ve been more effective swapping about.
CARLO.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Apr 2024 11:51:24
Ok my reflections on yesterday.
The City Ground was back to its rocking best because the lads put a good shift in. I said before the game that a defeat by 2 goals would be an excellent result because it leaves our goal difference advantage over Burnley and Luton just about intact. City can damage you 5 or 6 nil. That goal difference is like an extra point atm.
It could have been better had Chris Wood not had an off day, but that's what you get when you are obliged to play a ยฃ15 million striker in the twilight of his career rather than, say, Haarland at the peak of his career at ยฃ60million, supported by Grealish at ยฃ100 million, De Bruyne at ยฃ55 million Doku at ยฃ60 million. I could go on but you get my point. Of course if we hadn't spaffed millions up the wall with Arter, Lingard, Bowler, Kouyate, Turner, Vlach etc etc etc we might be in a market higher than the ยฃ15 to ยฃ30 million bracket but that's another argument ( plus we might be 4 points better off).
It was great to see Elanga and Aina burn Walker off for pace a few times. I think Englands fastest full backs knees have gone with his serial sha""ging! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Apr 2024 13:31:27
What a way for your "knees to go " though Stokey.

29 Apr 2024 14:23:13
Mine would be knocking together Gazzi mate at the line up he got through! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

29 Apr 2024 16:33:46
If he wasnโ€™t good enough to be a footballer he could have been a cooper!
๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
CARLO.

29 Apr 2024 16:58:25
Do you mean cooper or copper Carlo. Iโ€™m not sure SC was a ladies man mate! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

29 Apr 2024 18:01:34
If you meant โ€œcopperโ€ mate, I can tell you that before amalgamation in the early 1970s Nottinghamshire had 2 entirely separate Police Forces, the County and the City. The County Officers were renowned shagโ€ers and the City renowned drinkers.
I guess it was just a question of local opportunities, plenty of pubs in the city and plenty of lonely ladies in the countryside! ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡.

29 Apr 2024 11:15:34
We gave a good account of ourselves yesterday and made the Man City players look human! Ola Aina was absolutely magnificent (which I've been posting for weeks) and should be first name on the teamsheet. Murrillo also brilliant. Pity Wood reverted to his original standard, not quick enough, not enough movement etc. he had a poor game. As far as Neco goes, I'm fed up with observing it, gives everything but just not good enough and should have put us ahead in the first few minutes - he is part of the problem. If we get Awoniyi back will be more confident and need to sign a striker who offers more than Wood next season. Enjoyed the game but very frustrating again.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Apr 2024 12:29:42
His confidence up top is lacking but his effort and quality defending makes up for it. We also don't have anyone better. Boly worth a mention. Elanga just keeps looking like he's going to do something amazing then pffffft.

29 Apr 2024 12:35:24
Aina was excellent on Sunday. Best player on the pitch. He's another one who will be going in the summer, though, like Murillo and MGW. If we stay up we might keep Aina but if we go down he'll definitely be off.

29 Apr 2024 12:40:44
Neco Williams has been brilliant for us this season RHR if youโ€™re looking for a whipping boy mate choose between Sangare and Montiel!

Neco is not part of the problem heโ€™s still young and learning and is part of the solution imo

Aina
Williams
Obamadele
Murrilo

Should be our back 4 next season.

29 Apr 2024 14:03:26
I like neco but his final ball be ut a shot cross or pass is frankly pants.

29 Apr 2024 16:24:45
I reckon Murillo won t be here pal.

29 Apr 2024 08:58:02
So proud of the lads yesterday left the ground thinking we left everything out there

Nuno got the tactics right and team selection apart from I would have played Obamadele instead of Niakhate

On another day if Woods had his shooting boots on we could have claimed all three points never mind a draw

Just hope Neco and Murrilo are ok

You know you've played well when City are blaming the pitch for the fact they didn't play us of the park

UREDS.

29 Apr 2024 10:11:48
Don't want to the wrong thing, but, any mention of VAR, no mention of the ref. If that's the case then all in all, take the result on the chin.

29 Apr 2024 10:57:50
Good ref no VAR.

29 Apr 2024 06:33:25
Well we gave em a game.
Tremendous all round performance
Wily Boly and Aina the stand outs for me.
Sels made at least two cracking saves.
We created really good chances and had City scrambling in defence quite a few times.
It says something when we come away knowing we should have had at least a draw.
Just a thought, would Hudson Odoi be better on the right wing? The times he gets by his man then checks inside. You might lose his goal threat from the right but the amount of crosses would be worth it I think.
It's frustrating when we're not consistent but I honestly think we have the makings of a decent team there. Maybe it's down to the youth and lack of experience in the team.
Keep the faith my fellow Reds
And remember it's Forest we're talking about.
When has it ever been easy ๐Ÿฅด.

Agree5 Disagree0

29 Apr 2024 07:55:18
I've thought that on few a occasions, Carey, regarding Hudson-Odoi He's easy to defend against just show him outside. Cutting back on his right foot gives the defender time to get back. Against Everton he was found out. He was a steal from Chelsea.

29 Apr 2024 08:47:21
Red I think Odoi has a wand of a right foot and may become a revelation on the right.
He can take people on, has great balance but on the left his right foot is wasted most of the time.
Get by your man and cross it.
Trouble is Iโ€™ve been spoilt by a magician called
John Robertson. Overweight, no pace but could he play and he usually ended up having two or three to mark him!

29 Apr 2024 12:31:34
Agree Carey, CHO definitely on the right. Need crosses in from there. Neco can't cross his laces let alone a ball.

28 Apr 2024 22:42:29
Wore my 1960s lucky pants today, obviously didnโ€™t work but how I'm suffering now, they are extra small ๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿฅต

Just saw the highlights, Wood's finishing?
๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„
And yes Set Pieces, Corners need sorted, however,
We play anything like we did, we should just about do it.
Some said we would get slaughtered, lose by 3 or 4 by half time etc.
