Can't wait to see McAtee, Bakwa, Jair Cuhna and Savona play under a decent coach.

Agree1 Disagree0

16 Feb 2026 21:17:15
Savs is a centre back by trade, so if we're going to three at the back, him and Murillo, either side of the Serbinater, could be formidable. ?

16 Feb 2026 21:32:01
I like how we are picking the team as if we know what Vitor will do. He's probably only just sent Yates for a coffee and a bicky. I admit I haven't got a clue who will play and his set. ?

16 Feb 2026 22:28:11
I don't think he'll start them all necessarily. I just want to see them coached and getting opportunities.

17 Feb 2026 05:26:48
McAtee looks clueless and should be nowhere near a match day squad. Shocking waste of money.

17 Feb 2026 08:06:20
Hey I hope Cunha becomes another Murrilo, Bakwa and the other young fringe players take their chances and keep us up and if VP achieves that he will still be lucky to have his job in July. Mr M needs to be put in a room with no outside contact for the next 3 months and may be we will stay up. ? ? ?

16 Feb 2026 15:44:27
Ed 33, regarding our brief conversation yesterday ( and following on from the posts from Agri and Jester) about having a poll, which you wisely replied to saying we needed a question (s) to specify what the poll was about? Here's my 2 suggestions mate.

Firstly, was Marinkinakos correct in sacking Dyche at this point in the season, bearing in mind the position we find ourselves in?

Secondly, assuming " Dycheball " is defined as route one or lump it football, did we actually play like that or is it a myth and our football style was attractive and counter attacking?

{Ed033's Note -

It's not about 'letting it go,' Dtp. It's about learning from our past mistakes and moving onwards from them.

16 Feb 2026 19:02:39
What, Legolas, like Irving Scolar, Doughty, and Fawaz?

16 Feb 2026 19:22:21
Exactly my point, Dtp. That list should also include Big M. Only an idiot in life doesn't learn from his/her mistakes.

16 Feb 2026 19:23:15
Lego, Dtp, remember. 1st Rule: You do not talk about Fight Club. 2nd Rule: You do not talk about Fight Club. 3rd Rule: If someone yells "stop!", goes limp, or taps out, the fight is over. 4th Rule: Only two guys to a fight.

5th Rule: One fight at a time, fellas. 6th Rule: No shirts, no shoes. 7th Rule: Fights will go on as long as they have to. 8th Rule: If this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight. ? ? ?

16 Feb 2026 19:24:19
Think everyone needs to move on.its not looking great for the club at the minute but in another 5 games everything could look totally different. Let's see how the new man does.

16 Feb 2026 19:50:37
I like it, Winter - it made me chuckle. However, I've now just got an overriding thought of DTP and me squaring up to each other, with him then trying to smother my face with his man-boobs. Meatloaf-style.

16 Feb 2026 19:53:26
It's looking a lot better now we have a decent boss.

16 Feb 2026 19:57:45
Lego. ? ? ? ?

16 Feb 2026 19:58:47
Yep Cyclist, I'm very happy with the appointment. ?

16 Feb 2026 20:42:47
I agree with you, UReds. However, some on here seem to be stuck in the past and unable to move on and accept that we need to improve drastically overall as a Club.

16 Feb 2026 20:53:06
I agree, Legolas. Mr M still has a real lot to learn, especially who he listens to. Otherwise, next season will be exactly the same. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there will be a lot of changes in the summer, that he takes a step back, and that we're still in the Premier League.

16 Feb 2026 20:22:09
The previous one's never achieved anything lego
You want him out but haven't a clue of the consequences
Ps your not worth the effort of replying to redrobin

16 Feb 2026 21:17:51
I also don't agree with some that there's no way he should be listening to players about a manager's sacking. These players will probably be playing for other teams next season, whether we stay in the Premier League or not.

It would be interesting to find out who it was, and whether other teams would sign them, knowing that they would stop playing for a manager they didn't agree with.

16 Feb 2026 21:18:46
Bit rude that, but nothing new from you. ? ?

16 Feb 2026 21:51:21
I don't mind a bit of rude if I think it's mildly amusing Winter and puts people in their place. I notice DTP doesn't have the intellect nor humour, despite in my imagination his enormous man-boobs, to respond to my joke. DTP is a 'giver', not a 'taker'.

16 Feb 2026 22:40:27
I saw a poll on YouTube where hundreds replied, and about 88% wanted Dyche gone.

16 Feb 2026 22:55:19
DTP aka "Bob". ? ?

17 Feb 2026 20:17:58
If it's on YouTube, Cyclist, it must be true. ????

17 Feb 2026 20:30:56
First of all, Ed 33, many thanks for organising the poll. I found the results very illuminating. Gentlemen, I leave you to come to your own conclusions. I merely make 2 observations... Firstly, certain vociferous and frequent posters on here have tried vigorously to spin the line that the vast majority of Reds fans support the sacking of Sean Dyche and were sick of "Dycheball" when we very rarely played in that style anyway.

One estimate was 90% in favour of both propositions. We can now safely dismiss this as gaslighting propaganda. Secondly, there is a saying that empty vessels make the most noise... I rest my case...

17 Feb 2026 21:00:24
He got sacked as most of the fanbase wanted due to poor results in important games and some of the worst football I've seen at Premier League level. Those polls back that up ?. And looking at those long winded posts and parting shots about vessels. Pot kettle and all that ?.

Let it go and get behind our new man in charge, i'm going to stick my neck out here and bet you that the football isn't straight from the rugby play book (boot it for territory and smash em with huge forwards) and results against teams in and around us improve massively. ?

17 Feb 2026 22:14:45
And so the myth perpetuates itself. A lie repeated a thousand times becomes the truth, it seems...Or, as Mark Twain said "A lie can run half way around the world before the truth has got its shoes on."Also, as I've said before, I'm behind Vitor. Coyr!

17 Feb 2026 22:28:43
No myth. Dyche wasn't the right coach for Forest. And why do you feel the need to quote dead people all the time? Just asking?

18 Feb 2026 08:32:10
Because most dead people are cleverer than you DTP . Just joking ????.
Anyway, I've made my point, time to move on. I'll revisit this issue at the end of May when we'll see how it's all gone ( successfully hopefully rather than pear shaped) COYR

16 Feb 2026 13:07:19
My hope is that VP gets the dressing room buzzing again for all the right reasons. A result of any kind against Liverpool could be a catalyst for a good end of season. I'm hopeful, but it's the hope that kills us!

Agree5 Disagree0

16 Feb 2026 09:27:08
Come on VP 3-2-4-1 against Fenerbahce please and you know what the atmosphere will be like we will either thrive or freeze

It's your job to make sure we thrive

Ortega.

Jair Cunha
Milenkovic
Murrilo

MGW
McAtee

Jesus

Subs Gunn Lucca Ndoye Hutchinson Hudson Odoi Yates Dominguez Morato.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Feb 2026 15:15:29
Might be Morato, but that's probably the team. Could play Cho instead of McAtee.

16 Feb 2026 15:21:43
It will be interesting to see who he picks.and what changes he makes with set pieces and who takes them.

16 Feb 2026 18:29:27
Uredddssss, I heard Ando is only allowed to take them if he's wearing his "kiss me quick hat". ? ?

16 Feb 2026 18:32:08
Daresay he will be catching up on the last few matches. Cunha didn't even make the bench for some of them, but I agree, let him have a go.

16 Feb 2026 20:59:36
Jester, I think the new coach knows Cunha from Brazilian football, and he might be given his chance.

17 Feb 2026 07:57:21
Hey, I hope he becomes another Murillo.

16 Feb 2026 08:37:46
Well new coach again this season will this be a settling period were we can get on some sort of track to be safe, its true I think we should have stuck with Dyche till the end but who nows if that would have been better but I have to say those on here who rightly or wrongly preached Dyche football has evil just look at the stats of the last match all those chances wasted all those chances made by Dyche ball not taken by players who helped show him the door doesn't sit right with me.

But new era for 12 GAMES OR SO and will be shouting for My team and whoever is in charge all I will say is Vitor watch your Back ? ?.

Agree3 Disagree0

16 Feb 2026 08:31:50
And so the vultures circle the WFCG, with so many players being linked with so many clubs.
However, the transfer values will need to be higher than quoted.

Murillo £50M
Anderson £60M
MGW - £56M lol really!
I wonder if player mentality has caused the drop in performance levels recently, knowing they won't be around next season!
Good luck to the new head coach, I just hope he can get the players focused!

Agree2 Disagree0

16 Feb 2026 10:57:56
Of course they are ready for the garage sale. If we survive, we could probably hang on to a couple, but with the financial state of the club, a few were always going to go. Murillo is ready to go. Gibbs-White has been ready all season, and we won't be able to turn down the offers for Anderson. It will help with any future buys.

16 Feb 2026 15:16:27
You're right, Jester, it will help with future buys. Unfortunately, we aren't very good in the buying market, are we.

16 Feb 2026 15:16:30
Murillo ain't going anywhere for 50M. One of the best CDs in Europe, and young.

15 Feb 2026 19:46:56
Well I'm buzzing that VP has been appointed. Honestly can't wait for Thursday, some history there with VP being Fenerbachi old manager.

One thing with Mr M in charge, it's never a dull day following the Reds.

Agree6 Disagree0

15 Feb 2026 19:55:54
Yes, I spelt it wrong, but you get my drift.

15 Feb 2026 19:58:41
Booked a table for my wife and me last night. She only potted 1 ball!!!. ???

15 Feb 2026 20:00:58
I'm with you, Pineapple, looking forward to watching and seeing the line-up and tactics. Three tough games to start, but you never know.

15 Feb 2026 20:02:36
So you're walking with a limp then, Rogie?

15 Feb 2026 20:10:11
Great chance to right some wrongs, DTP.

15 Feb 2026 20:18:06
100% Pineapple. Not going to be easy as he'll have one eye on the Liverpool game, and then there's the travel, so not much time on the training pitch.

15 Feb 2026 20:34:35
Walking like John Wayne, mate!!! ???

15 Feb 2026 20:39:57
Saddle sore as well?? ?

15 Feb 2026 21:22:36
"Yeeeeehawwwww"!!!!!. ????

16 Feb 2026 08:26:37
Woahh, Carlo.

15 Feb 2026 19:03:05
Welcome VP.
You have a huge task ahead of you.
May you have all the luck in the world and finger's crossed you will prove some fan's and pundits wrong.

Ziggy Bowie Dust, how's Sunderland and and the Fortisip?

Agree6 Disagree0

15 Feb 2026 20:02:47
I don't think Derbyshire pride will get the better of you, and go running down to Pride Park with all our secrets, Ripley. ??

15 Feb 2026 20:26:34
Between yourself, Ziggy Sunderland and a few others, I bet you sit down together with your Fortisips and see who can plot the most mind numbingly repetitive posts!
Larry the Ram, your mate Dyche will be back in a job soon at your beloved club Leicester!
Try harder Balloon's ????

15 Feb 2026 20:41:10
Larry your more an anti christ of forest than Ripley could ever be

16 Feb 2026 05:23:10
Just because I live slightly over the border, it doesn't make me a sheep. In fact, I'd say 80% support Forest this way. Also, I'm now known to the Fortissip Drinking Bowie as Carlton Palmer because I lived in Carlton for decades.Anyway, DTP, I'd take that as a compliment.

16 Feb 2026 09:14:14
The border towns, mate...Ripley, Heanor, Alfreton, Eastwood, Ilkeston, Long Eaton. No place like them, unique because of their working class history and a hotbed of football rivalry. Extra edge created from the mining days, with those in Derbyshire pits being NUM and those living there but working in Notts pits being UDM.

I doubt there is anywhere in the world quite like the small industrial towns on the Notts/Derbys border. I'm proud and honoured to have been raised here.

16 Feb 2026 11:16:29
Ahh. D H Lawrence! His old stamping ground.

16 Feb 2026 14:54:00
Exactly 2Gold. ?? Yes indeed Norfolk. ??

16 Feb 2026 20:51:54
Cra9holes. I should know.

15 Feb 2026 18:43:21
Read the posts
Just to clarify
Pieriea
Pirto won the league 2911 12 and 12/ 13
Olympiacos league and cup double
Shanghai league and cup double
Fenerbahce twice and an average 60% win rate
Wolves saved them from relegation by miles in his first season
Shaun Dyche?
Won nothing.

Agree5 Disagree0

15 Feb 2026 19:32:31
False analogy. Dyche was never going to win anything with Burnley or Everton, whereas Porto, Fenerbahce and Olympiacos are all major teams in their respective leagues. As for Shanghai? ??

15 Feb 2026 19:40:25
It's a fact, Stokey, that you can't argue with. Many coaches have tried to coach Man Utd but never won anything. So, once again, your argument fails.

15 Feb 2026 19:52:21
And, that's also why Dyche has never been on a big clubs' wish list, Stokey. He can't handle top players. He can only ball and bully the best from average players.

15 Feb 2026 21:01:52
Fergie won everything with Man Utd, DTP, so your argument is flawed (again). Dyche is unfashionable, for want of a better word, but the big clubs want big names and they can have their pick. Apart from Eddie Howe, I can't think of any other British manager who got the top jobs (if you count Newcastle as a top job). So again, a false proposition.

15 Feb 2026 22:00:28
By the way, DTP, how do you know he bawls at and bullies players? Have you been invited to SD's training sessions? Have you even met the man? Everyone I've heard in the media and fellow professionals talk about him with great respect.

15 Feb 2026 22:10:52
You are so blind when it comes to Dyche's limitations. What has Ferguson got to do with anything? You're saying in one breath anyone can win something at a big club, but then forgetting it's not the case, as no coach has won much at Man Utd since. And Dyche would never be offered top jobs anyway, because of his limitations.

Pierera has a CV that says he's won something in many leagues. Will Dyche ever win anything? No is a simple answer. Don't try dressing it up as he hasn't had the chances; there's a reason.

15 Feb 2026 21:33:49
I had you down as being slightly clever stokey?
Can you not read properly and go back to days gone by?
What's Ferguson got to do with anything?
Your saying its easy to win things when your at a top club, I've pointed out it isn't as m9st man United coaches since Ferguson have proved

16 Feb 2026 07:10:28
A couple of points regarding the above.Dyche wasn't brought in on the back of the trophies he'd won. He was brought in with a track record of fighting relegation.Ange Postedogpoo has won a host of trophies with other clubs, yet he couldn't win a game in charge of us.Just saying.

16 Feb 2026 09:32:49
You didn't specify a time period, DTP. Ferguson is from days gone by, isn't he? And the Premiership. You should perhaps have been more precise when you put flawed statements out there. Think before you post is my advice, mate.

16 Feb 2026 09:36:38
And that's exactly why he wouldn't have been here next season anyway, Fred.

15 Feb 2026 18:21:32
Out of interest, given the fact we can't score goals, I wonder why we haven't tried two up top? Good old fashioned 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 may just help us score a few more?

Agree2 Disagree0

15 Feb 2026 19:37:56
3-5-2 could easily happen under VP.

15 Feb 2026 15:54:03
Can anyone explain to me why there are two big black signs under every post now? No place to add to a score? Is it my screens only or what?

Welcome Vitor.
Don't start house hunting buddy.
Probably sacked by Easter.

15 Feb 2026 16:39:03
Positively hilarious. ?

15 Feb 2026 16:55:15
Well, on a positive note, Munmad, only 4 Forest managers to Christmas.

15 Feb 2026 17:29:18
Unbelievable! What have we come to? ??

15 Feb 2026 18:17:12
Unbelievable where we've come from as well. It's a good job I don't take you lot seriously, or I'd be down the doctor's for some antidepressants. ???

15 Feb 2026 18:59:29
Mate, I was at the doctor's. Told him that "I feel like a Jelly Baby." He chewed the face off me. ????

15 Feb 2026 19:07:10
That's the spirit, Rogie. ?

15 Feb 2026 19:26:52
Need to sell a player to pay the coaches' pay-off deals, and if we carry on with this momentum that player will be Anderson. ?

15 Feb 2026 19:35:37
Something some don't understand. When we sack a coach, they don't just get 5 million in a lump sum. It's paid in a continuous way, and usually if they take another job, then the pay-off is renegotiated.

We haven't paid out the 15 million to Nuno, Ange and now Dyche. It is something fans need to get over; it sorts itself out over time or when ex coaches take on a new appointment.

15 Feb 2026 23:01:28
I've give up on munmads team selections, I want the next 11 x managers ? only joking bud proud of your following.

15 Feb 2026 23:23:18
And I'm 21 yr old dtp ??

15 Feb 2026 14:35:15
Birmingham v Leeds fantastic game of football. Some great play. Our scouts could do no worse than have a look at some of the Birmingham defenders? Very good on the ball.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Feb 2026 21:30:26
Birmingham lost.

15 Feb 2026 22:21:29
