What a big mess and now Dyche ball to look forward to. My mates an Everton season ticket holder and says the football is as boring as watching paint dry. Wonderful. Probably be my last year as a season ticket holder. The club is a festering mess of toxicity.

I want to be the first to say it. Dyche out! ?.
18 Oct 2025 20:00:16
Lee Carsley?
18 Oct 2025 21:26:32
Good call
We have a lot of young players he has worked with. Progressive.
Dyche, not for me. Though I like Ian Woan. You just know how it would pan out.
18 Oct 2025 18:50:32
Who has the cudos to get the players excited for the rest of the season Mancini for sure, Silva definitely. Dyche a massive step backwards.

Learning : look out for managers wanting a final pay out. Like players in their mid 30’s. They were good managers but now ‘ has beens ‘.
Out.

There the pundits opinions, I'd give Carrick a go.
18 Oct 2025 18:40:47
I have always thought a great deal of Nuno, both at Wolves and at Forest. Big M, whilst fantastic in terms of investment for our club, has always had the potential to be a loose-cannon who thinks with his heart and not his head. As time's gone by, it seems he is showing this character trait more and more often.
IMO Big M has, once again, shown that he is unable to delegate to his management staff. Nuno, on the other hand, seemed to want to be given more autonomy based on his successes last season. I think Nuno, as a person, values loyalty very highly and rightly so. IMO when he perceives the loyalty and hard work he has given is about to be ignored/ betrayed, then he speaks out. Hence, his public comments at both Wolves and Forest. I admire him for that.
And so - here we are again. My mate Carlo mentioned about the Forest self-destruct button being pressed again. That, unfortunately, sums things up perfectly.

Mostly agree mate but after his 1st outburst nuno was warned, next interview he just went in even worse
Shame that the 2 egos couldn't reconcile it, but we end up here.
18 Oct 2025 20:08:25
I loved Nuno's tenure but I must say, his public comments at both clubs came after signing new improved contracts. Very good pay offs, coincidence or not.
18 Oct 2025 22:33:41
Nuno was no mug in any respect, that's for sure. I suppose I just feel that a compromise could/ should have been reached, mutual-ground found and a way forward for our club agreed upon between Nuno and Big M.
None of us will probably ever know why this didn't happen. I suspect, probably like many on here, it was down to Big M's ego and the feeling that he had been 'snubbed'.
I suppose the post-mortem doesn't really matter. Looking forward, I think we need a caretaker manager until the end of this season who is capable of steadying the Forest boat and instilling some passion back into the players/ club as a whole. The more I think about it - Psycho returning on a short-term contract would be perfect.
18 Oct 2025 18:18:37
We will never know, but about 130mil of players not even making the bench, what was that all about?!
Being honest, dyche will be a massive disappointment, I'd go n get silva now, bite the bullet n pay the 8mil compo.

Dyche is believes to have said no.
Contract too short apparently.
18 Oct 2025 19:19:17
If Dyche is the answer, what is the question.
18 Oct 2025 19:30:07
Who, who is available will keep us up.
18 Oct 2025 19:31:58
Big Larry the question is.
Why has Marinakis pressed the self destruct button?
18 Oct 2025 20:01:21
Listening to Edu.
18 Oct 2025 17:40:37
I'm relieved the AP saga has ended, it was a mistake, thankfully not a long drawn out mistake. Whoever comes in will have a big opportunity to get a good group performing and at least one transfer window. In terms of form it's the collapse of our defence that has collapsed and at the heart of that is Sels, his form, has others have pointed out has been poor, rooted to his goal line. I personally rate Silva the Fulham boss, always seemed to get the better of Nuno, whoever it is good luck!

Think once and if we get a manager, who can clearly get the message across to our players, in terms of what he wants, we'll be firing again.
I mean, we've only lost one player, albeit his was a big loss, we have the same team, so I see no reason, why we can't wreak havoc again like last season.
We should have been 2 or 3 up first half, just needs a bit of fine tuning, so not all doom and gloom, you ask me fellow Trickies.
FTID!
18 Oct 2025 18:31:24
Mentioned last season when Sels was getting all the plaudits for keeping a clean sheet, and no mention of Murillo, Toffolo and Aina clearing of the line on occasions!.
18 Oct 2025 18:47:57
Murrillo was too mate.
18 Oct 2025 16:58:35
Mr. M will never apologise so we move on. Hope he’s git good advisers about him because there are loads of crap managers out there. Temporary fix for a few games maybe using U21 staff but for heaven’s sake let’s get someone experienced and able to motivate a really good group of lads who want to do well. They were clapped off the pitch.
We need clear tactics leadership and the understanding supportive arm that Nuno gave his players bonding them together. I don’t rate many of the names bandied about so far so not sure who would be right at this point.

Marinankis won't admit he's done wrong.
His greed for success has become the downside of what is happening now.
Yet again Forest are now the circus with all laughing at us.
Ange should of never been appointed and Nuno should of never been sacked.
I hope Edu and Marinakis take a deep breath and realise the potential damage caused?
Poor state at the moment and it feels only a miracle can turn things around.
Good luck to the next incoming coach as he will be expected to turn things around with limited time.
What are doing Marinankis? ???.
18 Oct 2025 17:40:26
No idea who they will get, or who would want to come. It needs someone that can see the weaknesses and work with the players and get the best out of them, Ange clearly couldn't we need someone to come in and steady the ship even if it is just to end of the season and ask the players wtf is going on! Got to start defending better been schoolboy stuff of late, the eason could be a write off before it's even got going at this rate.
18 Oct 2025 17:43:02
Roberto mancini.
18 Oct 2025 17:50:54
Henri manconi is a better prospect I think he would keep them in tune.
18 Oct 2025 18:21:27
That's not a bad shout skegs ?.
18 Oct 2025 18:27:58
Apparently Mancini has been approached?
Good fit? ?.
18 Oct 2025 18:54:15
Dunno about fit, but I've heard Mancini wants the Man United job.
18 Oct 2025 19:01:59
For a start he knows the league, he's well respected in the football world and should get the players on the same page. Has a decent trophy cabinet, much better than the other contenders and speaks English. ?.
18 Oct 2025 19:05:15
Also likes to play 443 solid defensive wise with quick passing and counter attacking. ?.
18 Oct 2025 19:36:21
Hmmmm!
Well Edu the Devil and Marinakis need to devise a plan and where they want Forest to go?
The next appointment will be aware of how Marinakis behaves and will be cautious whether to take the plunge.
A huge task awaits and another roll of the dice ?.
18 Oct 2025 16:51:35
Glad it’s over at last. I’m sure the players will feel relief too. Mr. m will never apologise.

Edu needs to go ASAP.

Sean Dyche with Woany and Stoney 10 years at Burnley proven Premiership manager lives in Nottingham loves the club no brainer
He will steady the ship and put the pride back into it again please not Benitez aka Dinosaur.

Dint be ridiculous munmad, talk about no ambition.
18 Oct 2025 16:10:34
No knee jerk replacement please! Just someone internal to look after the team for a while and let them all try and pull something together for Thursday.
Need a manager now who has a low media profile: In the 'Weekend I' this morning there was an article about Ange's dilemna which mentioned Forest just ONCE!
Mr Potter is free?
18 Oct 2025 16:21:29
I agree it’ll be him but I don’t agree with reasons you give. He will bring back low block football and that’s all the team are capable of. I don’t buy into the nostalgia piece at all and hopefully that has zero impact on the final decision.
18 Oct 2025 16:23:20
To be fair I don’t disagree that he’s proven as well. A lada was proven to get you from A to B but no one really wanted one! This is where we are though, Lada it will be I suspect …….
18 Oct 2025 16:50:46
The match today was not lost by AP but by the players not scoring when many chances arose. Sangare, MGW, the Serbinator, Williams. This was a bold choice of team with Awonyi up front. Everyone around me in the Trent End agreed it was good half of football. Then the second half defensive mess ups and APs fate was sealed. There are very good players at our club but they are not performing. So who will make the defence sound and how? Sels will not leave his line for a cross and that’s where a lot of goals against come from. Morato is on edge and maybe De Cunha is better. From those that wanted to change the manager, what would they do? Because the defence is your top priority. Last season it worked so why does it seam broken? Surely this not just the absence of Ainia. The new manager will have a tough job to divert our downward spiral.
18 Oct 2025 17:24:00
Need more than Harry Potter's magic to get a win.
The foundations at Forest are slowly turning to sand ⌛!
Well to the devil edu who sits on the shoulder of Marinakis.
Where do we go from here?
18 Oct 2025 18:37:34
Gary Brazil was a good stand in on these occasions in the past.
Potter is c**P.

As I have said before this is on the owner. So he has to sort this out.
From the moment we hired Clattenberg (Why? ), to running on the pitch to confront Nuno, to not congratulating Cooper when we got promoted.
Can we just have a wise, considered decision now?
We’ve lost Wilson, We’ve got Edu. We spent £200m, then sacked the manager.
If the answer is Dyche - who would be similar to Nuno in terms of being a cheaper option - then it’s disappointing but he may at least help the defence.
This is a relegation scrap unless Mr M’s next decision is a good and lucky one.
I know it’s never dull supporting Forest - I;ve supported us for 45 years - but being dull has its place….
