For me sky, the premier, the cheating arabs, VAR the officials. have inflicted far too many wounds on the club i love with all heart. a lot of them taking far too long to heal. Corruption bleeds yet we dress them in paper cash. But we keep on trying. Just my opinion. Will never change. Sorry if this annoys my fellow reds. I will always be there. It's what we do. X.

They may have inflicted all of that on you mate, but they will never ever replace what’s in your heart and soul, that can never be taken from you Sir. It’s yours forever. Never forget that mate x.

Just read a report on a shop being robbed in Chilwell, not an unusual occurrence in Nott's🤬. It's was just the police officer involved is named Liam O'Kane, I wonder if he's an of spring of our right back in the 60's, 70's?

Thinking of turning my notifications off pre season, drives me mad the experts speculation on who Forest are going in for regarding players. I can't have another Dean Henderson, all over again.

Thanks for the ground debate gents, think this one will rumble on. Club and Council are having their own Mexican stand off.
Burnley away? Is Nuno going to shuffle the pack, show the club which players he doesn't want?
Or end the season on a positive and make his case for a stay of execution?
Darren Fletcher suggesting Moyes is a hard no from me.
I go for a moral boosting win, 3-1 Forest. COYR.

Agree1 0Disagree

16 May 2024 22:09:37
I doubt he will shuffle the pack mate
Can't see the point of any loans taking part unless we are considering signing them
Osong on the bench would be well deserved for the lad, but you have to take the game seriously foremost.

I agree Bowie
Except enjoy football aswell
Like I've said to many on here, if you don't like what your seeing walk away and stop moaning, you've had 23 years of being justified in moaning as a forest fan, nows the time to move on or give up
Sick of hearing on here about how some of you want us to go back to the championship because it was better?
Really?

Agree6 0Disagree

17 May 2024 06:05:29
After 23 plus years wherever the team is I will have a moan it's human nature you have done the same in the past, I didn't want Mr Clough at first and didn't want Cooper either plus a few others along the way and still and always will be a Forest fan and will never walk away did you when Houghton was manager once a red always a red ♥️♥️.

ps DTP, no offence meant but think it comes under fair comment practice what you preach and put the bed sheet away.

17 May 2024 07:46:07
I do my best Bowie. I agree with DTP too. Enjoy football.
Fook the greed and corruption (I'm guessing that's what you despise about football), in all aspects of this upside down world.

After giving thought to the move, I'm not against moving from the city ground, but I'm absolutely opposed to moving to Toton, I think it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard come out of the club, it's so ridiculous I can only assume that it's the owner playing games with our inept city council,

Agree2 0Disagree

16 May 2024 21:50:24
I agree stevie
If the council can't play ball and realise the money we bring to the city and the boats club can't find a new home?
It sort of leaves the club with no alternative.

16 May 2024 22:38:27
Reds, reds, reds, a council has a bag of money bless em. They have so much to take on. Can't be easy. You want me as priminister, act now. 👌.

DTP, Forest started playing at the City Ground in 1898, the rowing club you would like to move away was erected in 1869. It makes it older by 29 years, Forest started at the goose fair site in 1865 when they were formed, I think. Why don't they move back to to the forest recreation ground where they started.

Wouldn't have a clue where most say to go. Would never pretend. Heard enough of ya all bragging. Get on with it. You all know the score with the forest. You ever asked the wife or kids. We are all here for a reason. AND IT'S NOT FOREST. ❤❤❤ luv ya all. WE LOVE THE CLUB FULL STOP.

Won't happen mate don't think top 6 will vote for it

They'll promise to make it better blah blah n we'll still sit for 3 minutes not having a clue what's happening

Don't necessarily blame the tech its the incompetent clowns who operate it and decide when n when not to use I. e. mr ant Taylor n his luton mate.

I agree redstripe, works perfectly in other sports been is really poorly run/ managed in football.

When everyone in the pub clearly see a foul/ offisde etc that they take up to 3 mins to feck up is laughable really.

Weird thing is, the tournaments like Euros and World Cup it seems to work ok.

Agree1 0Disagree

16 May 2024 22:21:51
Nothing wrong with the technology of var just the people doing it on the day
Unfortunately, this country in any league has at times become about the referee, it's not just happened overnight, it's been happening for years.

With var there should be no excuse, but to me Stuart Attwell should have been banned from refereeing years ago when he gave a goal that was a yard wide of the goal, spec savers should use that footage as an advert, but instead he was fast tracked to the premier.

Agree1 0Disagree

17 May 2024 10:40:56
As you say DTP, nothing wrong with VAR, bring common sense back into it, don’t take it to the extreme, toe nails, elbows, centre metres etc, think most fans would be happy, let referees ref and VAR pick up the MAJOR mistakes simple.

Agree0 0Disagree

17 May 2024 13:37:45
I would like to see proper daylight on decisions, not nose, toenail or knee cap, Coventry was robbed in the F. A cup, that decision took all the joy out of a great football upset. Thank god we didn't have it in 1966😜.

16 May 2024 16:49:10
Why go to Toton it is nearer Pride Park than Trent Bridge there is plenty of land around the Colwick area if we have to move would personly would develop the city ground.

Agree1 0Disagree

16 May 2024 17:21:28
I personally think either the club or the Council are having us on. We would spend hundreds of millions moving, over a few hundred grand a year rent? Makes no sense whatsoever.

Agree1 0Disagree

16 May 2024 12:25:50
The cost of Everton’s new build has risen from £500m to £800m, they are looking for investment for the£300 m extra needed.
These figures just make moving another crazy decision from theForest Board, they don’t even want to pay an £750, 000:a year in rent.
Season cards would cost tons more and if relegation calls a ground at Toton would be half empty and the atmosphere Silz.
Time for of owner to grow up and start being realistic.
All pie in the sky.
CARLO.

Agree4 0Disagree

16 May 2024 13:11:19
There's a reason though carlo
Brexit and covid put the cost of building materials up massively
If marinakis wants to build a new stadium or revamp the city ground then that's a good thing surely?
After all its his money
Everton have many more problems than just the stadium, Russia going to war hasn't helped them either and an owner that wants out.

Agree1 0Disagree

16 May 2024 13:25:51
Your right but as has been mentioned he's a business man that's what unfortunately football is today business and money. If the idea makes an extra 20 30 million plus a season, then more sponsors, promoters ect, ect the extra money stacks up as a long term investment.
Look at Aresnal I bet the fans were livid at the time on the move from Highbury. But now all settled, atmosphere different but getting there plus a new generation of fans
Still think 50, 000 is a lot of fans, I would say teams like us, Fester and the shaggers could fill 40, 000 if in the prem. Still there's no place like home and the City Ground is that.

Agree2 0Disagree

16 May 2024 14:46:42
Teams like Chelsea, west ham, Newcastle are averaging 10 to 15 thousand supporters extra every home game. If we are trying to compete in the Premier, we will have to inprove the attendance.
If we move why not a ground share with county, up there stadium to Premier standard, it's a win, win for them. And just down from the City Ground is a piece of land with a car wash place on it, going for auction on Friday for about two million, land does not come cheep, so building in West Bridge ford area I can't see happening.

Agree3 0Disagree

16 May 2024 17:17:03
As with all old things, they come to the end of the road, just like us old gits that love the City Ground, we die off, and eventually forgotten, when our generation and possibly the one attending the City Ground today dies off, if a new ground is built The City Ground will just become history and forgotten. How fantastic would it be though for the younger generation to attend Forest matches in a fantastic new stadium, but for me not at Toton. Another part of the city fine, the land at the other side of the station great if large enough, I’ve seen all my Forest games at the City Ground obviously and would love to see us stay there with a completely redeveloped Ground, but If that's not possible, and I mean really not possible and we have to move, so be it. Just Football Progress.

Agree1 0Disagree

16 May 2024 18:24:38
Sorry lads got called for my tea, and when her who shall be obeyed calls 😇😇anyway what I wanted to add was, if we do decide to move, I should say that if Mr Marinakis decides we move, I hope the money is fully in place to pay for it, we don't want Mr M spitting his dummy out half way through the build and walking away with the job only half way done, leaving the club in the sh/ + and in big debt, get your money out upfront Mr M. Don't come with big ideas, and not enough cash, I’ve seen it with my sons business, big money people wanting jobs done, not putting money upfront, and going bankrupt 🤪🤪😂half way through the job, with the subbies and workers hundreds of thousands in debt.
So for all our sakes get the financial side sorted, obviously I know that Mr M and his advisers have far more experience than me in these matters, but we have seen these things happen before.
So with an old supporters hart on his sleeve, with my love for my Forest club, all I ask Mr Marinakis, if we leave the City Ground, YOU Better get it fu (£/ #@ well right. 😤😤.

Agree2 0Disagree

16 May 2024 19:34:25
At the end of the day forest have to get a established team that can compete in the prem and more importantly stay in the prem. than they should consider a new ground, no point having a world class stadium if you're in the championship or worse.

Thanks for the reply Bowie my friend, yer all good here mate, apart from being another year older 🤪 but the price of my whiskeys still the same, so not all bad 🥃.

Problem I have now though mate is my granddaughter is having driving lessons, and she’s got her eyes on my car when she passes her test, she knows I’m a soft touch, but I did tell her that I don’t want to be driving that much longer, had just got in from the pub though, but young uns don’t forget mate. Hope alls well with all the family up there in the north, hope the sun keeps shining on you.

Oh and by the way it ain’t snott on my sleeve mate it’s paint, fence paint, sick of seeing fences panels, but it keeps the good lady happy, then I can do my thing 😂😂.

Think I told you I had lost another one of my mates, down to just two now and the other one is on borrowed time, not good, but what the Feck can you do about these things, nowt ay. Come on you reds, yer still not going, watched every game though, but only Forest, stuff the other football, never watched another game, hate the premiership and all it brings, guess we have to stay there as long as possible though, great talking again my friend, you take care 👍.

Don't think Sels was too much at fault for Chelsea's first goal it was Danilo who lost possession in midfield and we were swamped quickly.

Terrible, non-dual carriageway roads in the Toton area, flooding on roads which are badly in need of repair, congestion every day around Beeston and the university, lots of speed cameras, traffic lights and appalling drivers. And as you say difficult access for people on the East of the city - Nottingham centre will come to a standstill without infrastructure development. A nightmare.

Agree2 0Disagree

16 May 2024 09:29:49
If we are to move from our spiritual home of 126 years it needs to be in Nottingham not the Derbyshire border

The nearest town to Toton is Long Eaton that place like Ilkeston is bandit country Forest and Direby fans, avoid Toton like the plague Nottingham stops at Stabbo imo

Loads of land adjacent to Colwick Park Sainsbury's have just opened a superstore there it's near the racecourse and only just across the river from the world famous Coty Ground

I'm a Gedling boy and would love East Nottingham to host the new stadium this area has plenty of land and is ripe for investment around the Colwick area.
