You can. Bleat all you like Dyche is the coach till Mr M decides otherwise and whether you agree with him or not is
Irrelevant what matters is going up the league. Of course we has fans can as armchair coaches put things back on course but from what I've read so far I think Dyche job is safe 🤡🤡👍🤔.

Agree7 Disagree0

10 Jan 2026 21:02:01
Ivory Coast out of Afcon. Sangare back soon. And as for criticising players in public Dyche was right to say they didn’t put a shift in and play for the badge. Those who didn’t do as expected as many of you are quick to point out should leave.
Stop trying to create false problems just to get Dyche out.

10 Jan 2026 22:09:14
Bsered I doubt anyone at nffc takes any notice of what we say on here mate
They'd take one look at skeggs and balloons posts and realise what they've been doing wrong all their lives
Then asking where they can donate some funds to their imaginary pub 🤣🤣.

11 Jan 2026 10:21:19
🤣🤣🤣🤣 First it was Hutchinson was going to save us then it was luiz now we move onto sangare. Obviously he's a lot better player as edu had nothing to do with bringing him in. and dtp you really do have a thing with live chat is it because you feel a little bit left out diddums 🤣🤣🤣.

11 Jan 2026 13:27:03
Nah prefer adult company skeggs.
I watch games instead of playing on my phone.

11 Jan 2026 14:22:42
That's funny dtp as the last few times you've paid us a visit on there. and always love a good read up after as you say 😁.

11 Jan 2026 15:11:18
And how many times have I actually text during any game?
Mainly before, half time, or stoppage in play.

11 Jan 2026 17:46:48
Your a fully fledged member now dtp 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

10 Jan 2026 20:58:16
That's Ivory Coast out.

Sangare should be available for Arsenal. Can't say we haven't missed him.

Agree4 Disagree0

10 Jan 2026 20:54:33
Sangare on hus way home.

Agree1 Disagree0

11 Jan 2026 02:04:36
Do you think we should play him DTP?

11 Jan 2026 10:54:26
He'll play 100% on that one.

10 Jan 2026 18:10:49
Should a manager ridicule his players in public or keep it internal? Does doing it in public take the heat off himself? I can see a big divide in the squad happening, after SD comments. If there wasn't one already.

Agree6 Disagree0

10 Jan 2026 18:49:42
Nice post bill 👍.

10 Jan 2026 18:58:37
Internally mate, rift will grow as it has just on here, there will be a few on the managers side, but mainly against. 🌳.

10 Jan 2026 19:02:29
Excellent point MV, certainly won't do much for team spirit.

10 Jan 2026 19:10:47
That's a really good question MV. Personally, I don't think any manager (in football or elsewhere) should berate their 'staff' in public. It's unprofessional and leads to discontent and divides in the workplace as you mention.

10 Jan 2026 19:24:39
This principle applies to owners as well. Publicly undermining someone is not a desirable trait.

10 Jan 2026 19:36:29
Perhaps when the third coach can’t do anything with the dross signings and also makes a scene th other two have Mr M might Jsut have to accept someone has squandered his money. The signings are dog 💩.

Wilson and co had got it together, the only 11 that performs is the 11 that contains none of the simmer Signings. Chuck a 💩 coach in there and watch it fall apart - oh soz it already has!

10 Jan 2026 19:56:20
Good post MV like i said mid game, wait for the Dyche it's never my fault post match interview. He the master of deflecting the blame. Nuno got the sack for simular.

10 Jan 2026 19:58:56
What team spirit dtp there's not been one since nuno left 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

10 Jan 2026 20:04:42
Only thing I'd say about the summer signings is that they can't have all turned into bad players overnight, remember when sangare arrived 3 year ago?
Took him till end of last season to show the form we paid a club record fee for
Yes I get the injury and illness thing, bit he looked poor prior to that and skeggs you said at the time that you'd watched him and he was crap and should not have signed him
Comments last night from dyche will mean he won't pick any of those players again?
That will be a problem with Europe
Just saying.

10 Jan 2026 20:09:34
Skeggs just for once be a grown up?
Dyche had a job to do that when he arrived?
Any chance has now gone?

10 Jan 2026 20:42:36
I don't think he was undermining anyone. I think he is only saying it as it is, we all agree that first half performance was dire. Obviously if he critiquing individuals then that is a different matter.

They are well paid PL footballers, if they can't take bit of a kick up the backside when things are going badly then they should pack up football and go and sell ice cream.

10 Jan 2026 20:49:33
Like I said dtp no team spirit at the minute the club is rotten to the core. and that's not all dyche is doing. its the muppet edu sooner Mr m realises he's the biggest problem in this club the better. talking of people having Mr ms pants down he's the biggest culprit.

10 Jan 2026 21:07:38
TBH before the Leeds game looking at the fixtures ahead, and the form we were in, I remember projecting that it may be the new year before we get out of the drop zone.

Obviously WHU and Burnley have helped us but in terms of staying up we are on track. that's the nain thing. We were 5/ 2 to ho down when Dyche was appoonted we are now 9/ 1.

Must admit that is a big price.

However those who are saying we are heading for relegation. Get down the bookies. Fill your boots.

9 to 1!

10 Jan 2026 21:54:31
Lego I have to come in at that, it did make smile about bollockings In public, you sure you were in the services, 🤣I had some mega dressing downs in front of everybody they loved nothing better 😊.

10 Jan 2026 21:56:03
Like I've said before 67
I think we will stay up, but that dyche will be replaced at the seasons end
I don't believe the club see any long term future under him
Problem is he has singled out those individual players when he subbed them?
So bakwa, mcatee and zinchenko won't be picked again?
Maybe rightly so, but he's done it in public and these players cost a lot of money, so I can see dyche being in big trouble should we lose heavily on Saturday imo
The two games that I can't forgive dyche for are Everton away and home, they are bang average at best and he should know their players inside out?
But we lost both conceding 5 goals without laying a glove on them, that's not acceptable.

10 Jan 2026 23:28:04
That’s what did for me as well. And Brighton at home as well. As you say - unacceptable.

10 Jan 2026 23:28:28
You're so right Stevie. The services excelled at bollockings in public, particularly on the parade square. I remember being called a 'spastic' on the square by one of the drill sergeants. He must have been a fortune teller.

11 Jan 2026 16:48:01
That’s a great question MV.
I agee with Monty. He didn’t name individuals but made his point.
On many levels it’s a win win for SD. Being a man of the people ( like Cloughie) he’s saying what the fans think. It was a dire first half and fans pay good money to watch millionaires on 50 grand a week perform like that.
Also, it’s SD’s head on the block, not theirs so he’s right to berate them. They should either step up or ship out.
In addition, the best time for a manager to exert his influence is at the earliest opportunity of his tenure, in this case a mere 2 and a half months since his appointment and, significantly, during the first week of his first transfer window.

The message to the hierarchy is “ OK I’ve looked at all the squad. I’m reasonably happy with the first team but these latest signings are mostly dross ( Mr Edu) despite their big price tags ( McAteer, Morato, Cunha, Zinchenko etc). So this is what I want now if you want to progress in the Europa and have cover for our core players to combat injuries and suspensions “
I’d imagine a big striker ( Larson? ) is a priority and possibly one of his tried and trusted former players such as Dwight O Neill.
This is undoubtedly the best resourced club SD has ever managed in his career and he is a shrewd and experienced coach who knows how to get his way…
So, it’s good to tell it how it is imo.

10 Jan 2026 16:22:31
As I appear to be causing much irritation and offence on here I hereby apologise and promise to cease and desist. I’m confident that my predictions regarding SD will be proved right at the end of the season ( as I was right about SC). But, time will tell and I won’t confuse those whose minds are made up with any facts as to progress made.
My golden rule of banter is that if you can’t take it, you shouldn’t dish it out but so be it.

By the way, the dinosaurs were an extraordinarily successful life form, existing for around 200 million years ( in fact when you next see birds in your garden you can see their avian descendants are still around to this day). The large dinosaurs were only destroyed by the unavoidable impact of asteroid (s).
The supposedly more advanced species of Homo sapiens have been around for around 2 million years and will probably destroy themselves by either nuclear war or climate change….
Most us on here support Forest so let’s enjoy it while we can comrades.

Agree5 Disagree1

10 Jan 2026 17:21:53
I think people forget where we were when Dyche arrived. In the relegation zone.

After the Ange disaster we needed someone to steady the ship and keep us up. If he does that. Mission acomplished. And we should applaud him.

He is what he is. Your not going to get champagne football (like Ange) but its all about results. If you look at our first or best team it is exactly the same as last year minus Elanga and Wood. So all that money spent and the only teo who have at times showed us something is Hutchinson and Luiz. You can't blame Dyche for that.

All that said whatever happens I doubt SD will see out his contract.

10 Jan 2026 17:23:08
Never apologise Stokey, for anything as you always say what is in your own mind and feel correct. I am 100% an SD supporter as I also was SC. There is no doubt we will end up mid to lower table. Our problem is the players that will then feel they have achieved all they can at the City Ground. Who would blame, Anderson, MGW and Murillo if they moved on.

Personally I believe McAtee was bought as a potential replacement for Anderson or MGW.
One aspect of Nunos time is he came in when a squad had gelled with SC. This has happened this season at Brentford. Next season there will be big changes and SD is needed to gel the squad together.

10 Jan 2026 17:40:06
Good and thoughtful posts, Nono and 67. I don’t apologise for my views only for any personal offence they may have caused.
Anyway, back to my armchair navigation with a glass of malt whiskey, woodburner on and heading for the coast of Chile and Peru on HMS Surprise in “ The 13 Gun Salute”!
I give you joy, shipmates! 🥃🥃.

10 Jan 2026 17:42:44
You obviously can't take it stokie or you would keep having a pop at individuals and their views, when they differ from yours. You say you will be proved right at the end of the season.

Well I say you won't. So let's see. Your pro SD, I'm anti SD. We don't need an History lesson to explain it just watch it unfold. One of us will be proven right.

10 Jan 2026 17:50:40
🤣🤣🤣🤣 nonodyche heard it all now.

10 Jan 2026 18:44:12
Stokey grow a pair for gods sake. Sticks and stones mate, would have thought that in your career you faced a lot worse than Ballons, Skegs, DTP and myself not agreeing with you. 🤣🌳.

10 Jan 2026 19:23:09
Please don't apologise. Varying opinions are what make this site interesting. While we may not agree with every post, it's valuable to hear different perspectives.

10 Jan 2026 19:24:12
Stokey - you're a dinosaur, just admit it. OK you may be intelligent, humorous, learned, well-measured, a staunch supporter and very good company to be with. However, you need to bow to others' opinions on here as they are always right. I would have thought that by now you would have realised that the likes of Larry and DTP are the font of all human wisdom - and, as such, never wrong.

Apart from Larry constantly misspelling your username (unless that is deliberate? ).

10 Jan 2026 19:30:19
Never change Stokey mate!

10 Jan 2026 19:59:04
He wasn't lever enough to make inspector lego 🤣🤣.

10 Jan 2026 20:11:40
You haven't made yourself look"CLEVER " there balloons 😁🤣.

10 Jan 2026 20:12:52
But he can spell the word 'clever' correctly Larry.

10 Jan 2026 20:29:11
Well, I did make Acting Inspector a period long enough to get a rollicking good Inspectors pension but I didn’t have enough “lever” to make it any higher mate! You missed off the “c “ as in C’nt my friend. 😂😂😉😉

Don’t worry about me comrades I’ll be sniping from behind the grassy knoll…. In Dychey we trust……. 👍👍.

10 Jan 2026 20:46:34
There's no "we" in dychey though.

10 Jan 2026 20:54:46
I'll be sniping at you from the grassy knoll if you keep using the word 'comrades' on here Stokey. You make it sound like a communist-loving, lefty-besty forum!

10 Jan 2026 22:12:39
Offensive? You’re definitely not offensive.

10 Jan 2026 22:23:23
Point taken Shipmate……. 😂😂.

10 Jan 2026 14:39:19
Macclesfield knocking out Palace is an example of the double edged sword of qualifying for Europe, the right or wrongs of the performance last night, it showed we rely on a group of players who can not keep performing game after game.

It's alright Sean Dyche calling out players, but it may be time for him Stone and Woan to think is it something we are doing wrong?.

Agree3 Disagree0

10 Jan 2026 15:16:49
🤔 I'm sure a certain person got sacked by Mr m. for saying them very words. Only he knew thus was going to happen months ago. just shows you how many fans on here no nothing when it comes to what players are needed and what positions need filling when it comes to playing in Europe.

Maybe because it's been a long time. 🤔or maybe you don't know football. either way nuno was right most of you was wrong and now your not happy with the last 2 managers that took nunos place well tough you reap what you sow 😁 stop moaning most of you asked for it 🤣🤣🤣.

10 Jan 2026 15:25:04
We rely on a group of 11 players some of which are sub standard who cannot perform at all and not one decent substitute can brought on. Plus a manager who has no plan and an owner who's only plan needed is Jane Plan.

10 Jan 2026 16:01:22
Skegs I’ve always believed Nuno was right and became disaffected with the politics when Edu was appointed. I understand Edu even took it upon himself to turn up at the training ground to supervise what Nuno was doing there and report back to Mr M. If Mr M wasn’t such an interfering owner he should have nurtured the bond Nuno had with the players and the success he brought to the club last season by supporting him, not undermining him.
What’s all this reap what you sow nonsense. I haven’t reaped or sown anything.

I didn't want Nuno to go. I certainly had grave doubts about the appointment of Postacoglau, so I was proved right about that.
In the chaos created entirely by our owner, I thought ( and still think) Dyche was the ideal choice to bail us out and his overall results and progress so far have proved me right again.
In our situation results always take priority over style of play. It’s best to concentrate on keeping the Titanic afloat, we can arrange the deckchairs to look nice when we reach a safe harbour at the end of the season….

10 Jan 2026 17:32:37
Nuno this Nuno that, if he didn’t like what was happening why did he not do the decent thing and resign, no he decided to open his mouth not once but twice what did he expect, I have no time for him at all.

10 Jan 2026 18:06:02
Doing the decent thing would have cost him a full wallet.

10 Jan 2026 18:42:06
He was bought in to do a job and he did more than a job. with the team he had. then he got a gob full off big m in front of millions on tv for all to see. then he was undermined by the muppet edu who thinks he's a coach himself. nuno earnt every penny of that pay off.

did big ange earn his 🤣🤣🤣🤣 if anyone ripped Mr m off it was him and a lot of other managers in the past that were sacked so that's that excuse done with boys. Mr m and edu the muppet are the only ones to Blame for this shite season the shite players and the shite managers simples.

10 Jan 2026 19:04:19
Exactly as I see it and always have done 1956.

10 Jan 2026 19:34:59
Nuno signed the new contract after all that happened on the pitch and marinakis gave a statement about how it was for not getting to awoniyi quick enough when clearly badly injured
Nuno knew edu was starting in the summer aswell
Had our pants down mate.

10 Jan 2026 19:57:33
Dtp if that's the way you see it 🤣🤣 and it pissess you off then nuno is my hero all over again 🤣🤣. its football dtp everyone for themselves. there's no loyalty in football whatsoever. But the reason you like to believe it's that simple in your eyes is because you don't like nuno and never have plus he made you look a right numpty all season. With your predictions of him. i mean why were at it your bigging up mgw at the minute almost every comment.

But thus is a guy that got his agent to tell spurs of his buy out clause. So he could have Mr m over and be a judas and join spurs. only problem was Mr m wouldn't stand for it. since then he's been shite having Mr m pants down with a massive pay rise so what suits you dtp nuno proved you wrong week in week out all season and it will give you nightmares for the rest of your life we love nuno 🤣🤣🤣.

10 Jan 2026 20:48:56
Nice try skeggs
Back to your recliner in your padded cell.

10 Jan 2026 14:35:19
We need to make this transfer window count. Edu McAtee Zinchenko Taiwo Ndoye Morata OUT and a quality striker IN

Playing Zinchenko McAtee and Morata on the same side is like playing with 8 men. I despise Edu for what he has done, what should have been one of the best seasons in this clubs history is fast turning into a complete farce.

Agree5 Disagree0

10 Jan 2026 15:26:43
Only 5 out Froggy? I could treble that but who wants em. Nigel and Mansfield maybe. ?

10 Jan 2026 19:49:21
Yeh probably a lot more than 5 Larry mate but seriously those summer signings look awful.

10 Jan 2026 14:31:41
Hey, it could be worse! You could be a Palace supporter! 😂😂.

Agree1 Disagree0

10 Jan 2026 13:48:45
Strand Larson just completed a hat trick? Only Shrewsbury but just saying…. Let’s get him and Dwight O Neil signed and rid of Zinchenko, Anoniyi, McAteer, Morato ( and Edu) ….

Agree1 Disagree0

10 Jan 2026 14:19:24
Please note non League Macclesfield beat Crystal Palace. Oh dear! on the logic of members on this site he destined to be sacked!

10 Jan 2026 14:57:18
Please note, Glasner has credit in the bank, whereas Dyche doesn't. 🌳.

10 Jan 2026 15:06:02
Nono I don't care about palace or anyone else that gets knocked out of tge cup it doesn't disguise the fact we played shite and have been playing shite for months simples.

10 Jan 2026 15:29:36
The last thing we need is any more of your suggestions stokie. Your still drooling over the appointment if Dyche and look where that's got us.

10 Jan 2026 15:48:52
Oh dear, Red Robin, Skeggs and Larry Balloons ( by the way welcome back my dear old thing), Glasner has 2 years “credit” in the bank because that’s how long he’s had to shape the team ( or to put it another simpler way, that’s 4 transfer windows to acquire the players he wants and 2 pre seasons to coach them into his way of playing and develop them).

Dyche has been here less than 3 months and this January is his first window, obviously no pre season.
Still, let’s not let the facts get in the way of a good old whinge eh? ……. 🙄🙄.

10 Jan 2026 16:23:22
Keep banging the drum for Dyche stokie and i will keep saying we are going nowhere under him. Let's see who is proven right. Simple.

10 Jan 2026 16:31:14
Well said Stokie.

10 Jan 2026 16:35:02
Huh? So taking all the laughing emojis out of the conversation you actually agree we me? Yes success brings you credit and yes success and Dyche are two words that will never belong together. 🌳.

10 Jan 2026 16:38:34
Dyche has no day in transfers though stokey
Thought you would of realised that by now
Hes the coach nothing else.

10 Jan 2026 16:45:22
I think your forgetting one massive thing stokie dyche is a coach he will get what players edu decides to give him he won't get is own players remember that's why nuno left I have more chance of getting 6 numbers on the lottery tonight than dyche ever doing any good with us.

10 Jan 2026 17:44:57
They’re not laughing emojis Red Robin, you should go to Specsavers my friend. This is what a laughing emoji looks like 😂
As you say, we will sit down at the end of the season, talk about it, then decide I was right!

10 Jan 2026 18:50:21
Yeah fair play, funnily enough i wasn't wearing my glasses 🤣.
Never wrong ayy, superiority complex?, clearly you can't debate with people having differing views to your own. Typical copper. 🌳.

10 Jan 2026 22:13:11
Talk about good cop, bad cop red Robin?
You should join the bomb squad with that short fuse.

10 Jan 2026 22:27:42
Like I say Red Hot, golden rule of banter ( and life ) mate. If you dish it out you’ve got to be prepared to take it my friend……😉.

10 Jan 2026 23:22:12
Once again fair enough 👍🌳.

11 Jan 2026 17:25:03
Red Robin, I’ve only just realised that you didn’t realise my above post about being right was an affectionate ( and self deprecatory) imitation of Brian Clough’s famous quote when asked how disputes with his players were dealt with.
You do know that don’t you? It wasn’t meant to come across as me being arrogant and superior.

10 Jan 2026 12:36:44
Whilst the final result left that horrible feeling in the pit of the stomach and anger at the performance I thought that Dyche’s reaction was very telling.
He’s clearly given the the fringe player a chance to put their money where their mouth is. And he’s been proved right not to include them in the 1st choice squad.
I can see quite a few of them being pushed out of the club if Dyche has his way.

He knows his preferred starting 11 and last night wasn’t that 11.
An FA cup run would have been nice but I would choose a mid table finish and good progression in the Europa league over that any day.
We don’t have the squad depth to be competing on 3 fronts.
Dyche has singled out those not playing for the team or the badge and I trust him to do something about it. We can’t question his commitment to Forest.

Agree3 Disagree0

10 Jan 2026 13:26:18
Great post Surrey! 👍👍.

10 Jan 2026 13:35:21
That's how I see it Surrey mate.
There are many other things wrong of course but appalling player recruitment is right up there.
I had no problem with the team selected last night as we have much more important things to sort out first.
I did however expect much more from those selected.

Jesus is asked to do a job he's not built for I agree with all who have said that but he did score with his head so it is possible to put in crosses if they are quality. There was also a low cross in the second half that went straight past the 6 yard line. Jesus and Awoniyi stood gawping at it.

10 Jan 2026 16:42:51
It's the long balls from defence to him that's the problem gazzi even if he wins the ball he's got no support to pass to
MGW, we played better second half yesterday with playing out from the back and letting MGW carry the ball and pass through midfield
This big boot won't work in this day and age
Should just keep us up then marinakis will fire him and get a continental coach in.

10 Jan 2026 12:26:44
Do we know if Cubbano is training with us yet if so he has got to be better than Zinchenko unfortunately he played for city and Arsenal in two very good sides that carried him.

Agree2 Disagree0

10 Jan 2026 13:22:21
I believe that you be very disappointed if you’re. Hoping for a mid table finish mate. 7 points clear or not were very catchable. West Ham doing some transfer business Forest again delaying in moving dross on and signing players who Dyche can coach to his ways - whether we agree with those way as or not- it’s clear we have half a squad who he can’t work with.

The club need to decide on its philosophy as edu has clearly signed players for a different style of play. Did he get asked to or has he just decided to that. Either way it’s left us very vulnerable.

10 Jan 2026 13:27:23
JS I’ve been wondering about Cubiano too? I thought SD might have had a look at him last nighr if he’s available.

10 Jan 2026 16:03:32
Gold Stars surely you’d rather be 7 points clear than 4 points from safety which we were when SD arrived?

10 Jan 2026 12:14:37
Munmad Afcon won't finish till 22nd January and then Sangare will need a few days off anyway. No news on Yatesy and I doubt Luiz will play the number of full league games to allow us to buy him, so it looks like he's Juventus-bound.

Dyche will have his eyes on midfielders he knows well.
With Wood out he'll be looking at loan options, of which there are few.
He will keep us up and get into the final rounds of Europa, so no need for panic.
My glass is still half full.

Agree2 Disagree0

10 Jan 2026 12:54:16
If Egypt beat Ivory Coast tonight. He has a week to be reaady for Arsenal.

10 Jan 2026 13:28:04
Good and sensible post Bse.

10 Jan 2026 16:44:34
Bit your forgetting dyche won't have a say in players coming in or going out.

10 Jan 2026 18:56:40
DTP clearly some here think that a "coach" is something different to the job description. I can see it now, Dyche scribbling down a few names with his tiny t-rex arms, struggling to hold a pencil, then taking his list up to Edu and being laughed at, Edu then takes his list to Mr M who will be howling in amusement due to the fact that Dyche will be gone before the seasons out.

🌳.
