Red Robin, I usually fast forward the so-called pundits' chat on Sky and MOTD, because they usually talk absolute tosh. However, I think Murphy is one of the more astute pundits, and he has praised us before, particularly last season.

Incidentally, Mark Chapman, I think, is absolutely brilliant, because, as a non footballer, he asks the questions that a fan would ask. A million times better than Lineker, imo.

Be interesting what VP does on Thursday against the Turks. we need to keep that first team fit and use Awonyi against Brighton, if it goes txxs up so what, survival has to be paramount.

Now I've seen the so called VAR or automated offside in today's game, I was under the impression it's any part of the body, not just feet! I think we've had a couple with elbows and a shirt offside this season.

The replays of the lines on TV show a Liverpool hand offside, not the feet! I may be wrong, it may have changed. But it's gone now, just miffed that we've been done again!

Some very good posts this evening Reds. Personally, I'm very disappointed at the result as we all are - yet at the same time I feel more hopeful about our PL survival than I have done in many weeks.

At last, in the 1st half there was fight and belief on show. Excellent pressing, not allowing Liverpool to settle. Very poor 2nd half though overall, mostly down to fatigue. Throughout the game as a whole though I thought both Williams and Sangare were superb.

As most have mentioned - we need a goal scorer very badly. Hutchinson as a stand-in CF? He is very quick and I think more suited playing off Lucca in a 4-4-2.

It's simple, this season is poor - no Chris wood, last season excellent Chris Wood fit. The manager merrygoround is almost irrelevant. We don't have a Premier League striker.
We ran out of steam 2nd half - understandably after the Turkish exploits. VP was praised for that win but there is criticism after a very narrow loss against a multimillion pound opposition.

Its true chance events such as excessive overtime today could be our downfall. However I think we will survive due to us at least exceeding WH results and Spurs descent towards relegation. Holding our nerve is key.

We've conceded owe an absurd amount of game losing goals in added time. That's the players mate no one else, pitiful levels of resilience and focus. Forest will be relegated as a consequence and quite frankly they deserve it. No matter though the bottlers will get their move in the summer, their large pay cheques will keep coming, the Liverpool fans will still be signing on and we will all reading a long post from Stokey.

Life goes on I guess our players are to blame - a dreadful bunch we have here!

The problem is Igor Jesus. He is not quick enough, skillful enough or good enough at Premier League level. A decent PL striker would have scored 2 or 3 in the first half, we were totally dominant. He has to be replaced or his inability to score goals will drag us into the Championship. The goal difference says it all. For me his last chance was the Leeds game. I hope Vitor has seen enough now.

Keep him for Europa League games only. Also it would help if our midfield could shoot but puts the onus on the striker. Can't understand why Hutchinson came off and then Lucca on? Sangare exceptionally good in the first half. If you don't score at least 1 goal in the first half at home you're asking for trouble. Very disappointing considering the first half performance. Corners also a concern.

Who can we play instead of Jesus? He looks the part against lesser teams in Europe, but not quite up to Premier League level. That Lucca looks poor. Deserved a point today, but the glaring issue is the lack of goals.

West Ham away, Liverpool next week, so we need to get at least a point to keep a decent gap. I think Spurs are gonna get sucked in big time. Game at theirs is massive. Anyone else notice Anderson's tantrum when he got subbed?

I think this lot will stay up. We didn't play that badly at all, and outplayed the Champions for a lot of the game. I knew there would be a meltdown. I'm sure everything isn't going to be easy. We lost to a goal after added time. FFlips sake! A bit unlucky, but we should have taken our chances.

Cho needs to see a port psychologist. He looks brilliant occasionally, then has runs where he couldn't hit a barn door. We'd all love to sign a £60M striker, but that means selling someone at the end of the season. Some will then cry because we've sold Ando, or whoever has to go, but you can't have everything.

First half i thought we were magnificent without having the killer edge, second it was predictable that not taking chances would come back to bite us in the backside. Overall the lads gave everything considering we played Thursday i thought we definitely looked the fresher in the first.

All we can ask for is fight and they showed today that they are up for it. i'm not sure what Taiwo has done but since his goal away at Brentford he's not had a sniff of first team action and honestly he has to be better than Lucca who to me looks a pale imitation of a Premier League forward. 🌳.

Can't for the life of me why Hutchinson and Anderson were replaced with those two clowns that had no input on the game. Jesus isn't a premier player ( championship at best). We should have put the game to bed in the first half with the chances we created, and you could see the way Liverpool started the second half what was going to happen.

But saying all that there was a fire in their bellys especially in the first half. Thought we deserved at least a point.

The real problem is the recruitment. Its set us back years. We wasted 200m last summer abd the drop off when we make subs is unreal. In Jan, we've signed even more players whi have zero impact. When we go down, the first team players will be sold and will leave us with the subs. Those left unfortunately aren't championship standard.

I actually said in a reply to someone's post on live chat. All I want today is a forest squad, like not long ago. Working for each other as a unit. Wanting the badge, playing for fans. Well in football most of the time you get what you deserve. 34 shots against Wolves. 18 against Liverpool. Net result one point and no goals. The recruitment close season has been appalling, I think we must now be favourites to go down, those around us seem to be scoring most weeks where we do not.
