Obviously according to Dyche, Anderson is teetering on the edge of injury. I'd keep him out against Leeds and give him a break to recover. Many of the players looked over-tired after Graz so we can expect some surprise choices tomorrow. It'll be wobbly but I still think we can win it.

Anderson should play from the Forest view point. If he is rested then it’s an international matches for him. Then maybe he is out for longer. There is no doubt the season will not be an easy one.
Tomorrow is a match that we must win for many reasons not just the 3 points. Leeds will be thinking the same. If their defence is weak, Awonyi must start.

Gibbs White is awful atm Hutchinson did a good job in a poor Ipswich side playing as a 10 surely it's worth a try if he's fit enough to play 90 minutes
Gibbs White would struggle to play 10 for the Pig and Whistle the way he's playing.

Balloons it’s clear MGW is having some kind of breakdown and most definitely lamenting staying. Our owner has done a lot of damage lately. Stepping on pitch and confronting Nuno ( the pundits were all correct about this despite the clubs protestations ) cutting communication with Nuno and not working with him to strengthen the team, he’s rebelled against marinakis and won - yes the coach in this case was bigger than the club. Bullying Gibby into staying has ruined the player, he’s a shadow of his former self now - that’s the fault of maranakis. A dougty toys out the pram moment will surely arrive when we get relegated.

So much cognitive dissonance here.
We were playing badly under Nuno and not scoring enough goals or creating enough since April 1st last year. Who was to blame? Edu (? ) before he was even in the job?
Ange took over. We created 61 chances and scored one goal so hwe were creating but not scoring. The problem is we were conceding more as well. Whose fault was that? Edu (? ) when we still had the entire defence and midfield from last season plus Douglas Luiz and Savona. We also had more firepower (Jesus et al)
A lot of fans just blamed Ange which defensively was part of the problem no doubt but if we'd taken chances we'd have won quite a lot of those games.
Dyche comes in and the club do a PR thing and lots of fans love the 30% win rate boring Dych-Ball. We carry on underperforming and STILL can't defend set-pieces or score goals. Whose fault is it? Edu (? ) , because he's to blame if the coaches don't know how to set up against set pieces? Is it Edu's fault MGW gives the ball away leading to a loss TWICE, can't shoot and misses a penalty?
It's obvious there is a problem and it can't possibly be just Edu to blame for problems we already had before he was in post or has no control over. I'd agree Edu might be to blame for a lack of cover at FB.
But why couldn't Nuno, Ange or Dych get a tune out of McAtee who has done well in Europe and the Prem before? Why have none of them got MGW looking any better than below average. Why can't we defend set-pieces even under a set-piece specialist in Dyche?
Dyche comes in and after it was all Ange's fault, now none of it is the fault of the coach? Sounds like an agenda to me.
So what is the real problem, then? Are the coaches FORCED to play MGW when he's not in form? Is Wood FORCED to travel to the other side of the world and get injured in a New Zealand friendly or come back with jet-lag? Are the coaches to blame when the team create 61 chances and only score one goal? When did CHO last score or look like doing so more than once every 5 games? Can Anderson shoot? Is Douglas Luiz ever fit?
Just blaming Edu is simplistic nonsense. He may share some of the blame for a lack of FB cover and for signing a crock if Douglas Luiz doesn't get fit. But the coaches and players (ALL OF THEM APART FROM NECO WILLIAMS) are largely to blame.
On the money they are earning, if they can't put the ball in the net or clear a set-piece, the lot of them should be fired. If the coaches don't know how to set-up or bring out the skills they have, then they have failed. All of them.
I also think too many of our players are average at passing. The best passers are Murillo, Luiz (who is never fit), Aina (injured), Sangare, MGW (first half of last season anyway). The passing percentages were better under Ange. Can we capture than but defend better under Dyche?
We should have appointed Brendan Rogers or somebody else with a history of getting teams to control games with good passing and teams that create and score goals. We keep appointing defensive coaches and aren't solving the crisis of not putting the ball in the net or defending set-pieces.
We do have the players, but they are not doing their jobs well enough. It's partly down to coaching, but only the players step out there. Neco Williams, Jesus and Ryan Yates look up for it. If the rest were as committed we'd be fine.

Not said much about Thursday because i was pi**ed right off with some of the comments on here. I thought we played well especially in the first half, unfortunately i think we ran out of steam. a lot of the lads were starting for the first time or almost. People have been complaining about not seeing certain ones getting game time, rotation is going to be key if we wanna kick on in the league. MGW shouldn't be on penalties either way, remember him giving it to Jesus vs Porto because he knew he was lucky with his first.
We controlled the game for the most part against a seasoned European campaigner.
Think Sunday is literally groundhog day for us, we have to do everything and anything to bank three points. Play and fight dirty if necessary.
A few of the key lads have had a full weeks rest and should be charged and ready for war.

Honestly DTP and Bowie, i'm pretty damn pi**ed myself at the state of play atm.
But and i say but look at the state of play through the microscope of a footballers mind (limited i agree having played 350 plus non games myself)
Three managers so far, three different philosophies, extremely limited pre season as a group (influx of players late in the window) , injuries to at least two of our most influential players, Aina and Dominguez, then you throw in a basic essential, match fitness, i don't care what everyone says. Match fitness is a thing and you can't get anything like it from training games and even running around like a headless chicken on the training ground. Then you throw in mixing a new group with a bunch of guys who are tried and tested together and expecting them to gel instantly is a f**king joke.
Im not one to point blame or fingers but i really do think the uncertainty of which competition we would be competing in made a difference in our transfer policy, maybe we should have aimed it towards the conference league and settled with the players who wanted to complete in that rather than going for the more expensive options. Yes we made the Europa league in the end but heyho wouldn't the players that reached for the smaller competition be playing out of their skins now to prove the point?

The paying public can slag off who they like. The players get enough money to become millionaires so I'm sure they can cope.

Since he signed his new contract he has been quite simply a shadow of himself and has been totally overshadowed by Anderson this season

Dtp you say Murrillo and Milencovic are not as dominant this season and that's spot on. But they never were. Under nuno, who played very narrow and 2 banks of 4 behind the ball so they were surrounded by midfielders. Posta and Dyche play much wider and that has exposed them.

Sels and MGW have dropped more howlers so far this season balloons, coaches soon work out the oppositions weakness
They know sels will stay on his line at set pieces and won't try and catch a ball so they play on it by crowding him, they know MGW will try and dribble so they are on him in his own half, hence the goals he's cost against Newcastle and Palace
They know we like to counter with wingers so they cut that supply leaving an isolated striker feeding off scraps
Only Anderson and luiz when fit drive at th opposition and try to make things happen
Sangare is neat and tidy and Yates gives 100% but they foul too much and struggle for pace and can't play a forward ball
All the wingers seem to stand waiting for the ball instead of making a run and when the ball cones to them they pass it backwards
Lits of things wrong balloons and that's not just diwn to recruitment
Anyway we have to beat leeds and with, Anderson, jesus, Awoniyi, Hutchinson and possibly CHO and wood then we should get that win
Gives us a chance over the break to get some players fit then and dyche to work with the players not on international duty.

Norfolk, he brought on Abbott and Murillo for MGW and Kalimuendo I think. Dyche didn’t so much as go for a point and shut up shop, more like he had no choice unless he brought on an Academy lad. No obvious replacement for Kilimeuendo as Wood injured, Jesus suspended and I think Taiwo is not in the Europa squad and didn't travel.

When you keep playing the same 11 and then others are called upon who aren't match fit because they don't get a game then they will tire easily and get cramp. Add to that travelling as well.

Have to say Kiliminjaro or whatever you call him is Championship standard at best.

When there is no creativity in midfield all our strikers will look like Championship players. Clear cut chances aren't being created for them.
Kiliminjaro 🤣🤣. Love that one, Rogie.

Kilimanjaro hasn’t played much and is way off match fitness. Hence he’s been given minutes last night. He has a “mountain “ to climb to get fit imo 🙄.

The thing about the players fitness is a bit baffling, I'm assuming they all train together doing the same things?, Williams was still full of running in the 90th minute as the first, Yates and Dominguez although they haven't played many games was still running at 80+ minutes, then there was some players falling over with cramp after 55 minutes?, is it physical strength or some just give up to easily?.

Mossy, it’s match fitness mate. It’s like muscle memory so you do things instinctively and more quickly. It’s mental as well as physical. Obviously, cramp was a factor but you get my point.
