On a lighter note.

Just heard that Yoko Ono is going into the jungle on "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here". She said she was confident of winning as she's lived on a dead Beatle for 40 years. ???

Male and female whales are swimming together when they spot a whaler armed with harpoons coming after them. The male says " Look, they're catching up on us. Let's get underneath the boat and spout together and that might capsize them "
Desperate, they do this and sure enough the boat is turned upside down.
Seeing the crew swimming in the water, the male says "Let's finish them all off by gobbling them up "
The female says " No way. I don't mind doing a blow job but I'm not swallowing the seamen" ???

My wife knows nothing about football. I asked her this morning if she liked George Best and she said no, I prefer Zippy and Bungle. ??.

£150,000 a week to prance around a football pitch with some tippy toe bull moves is unacceptable, no wonder the team aren’t as one.

You on about edu pineapple ??.

27 Oct 2025 22:18:12
Pedro fererer is head of recruitment at forest I believe, edu is head of global football for all marinakis clubs, olympiacos and rio Ave doing OK.

28 Oct 2025 06:37:17
Edu has last say on players coming and going from forest fact dtp. and as for doing well at olympiacos and rio poxy teams in poxy leagues Mr ms biggest mistake the sooner he gets rid the better.

28 Oct 2025 07:34:07
Think you'll find there's a lot more to it than your so called "FACT" skeggs.

28 Oct 2025 10:44:09
You know I'm right as usual pal. You just like to blame any manager or coach as its called nowadays you don't like. the fact that a coach can only work with the crap players edu brings in isn't there fault you can't turn a donkey into a race horse.

nothing else to say on subject really I'm sure maranakis will work it out when it's to late.

28 Oct 2025 11:19:41
He's still got the good ones from last season skeggs though hasn't he?

28 Oct 2025 12:22:26
The good ones have had there head turned by so called bigger clubs and let's be honest they probably just want out now when they look around and see what's going on 3 managers in less than 3 months be enough to do anyone's head in.

28 Oct 2025 13:29:42
Lol well nuno or any coach won't stand a chance if they've downed tools
Better stick em the bomb squad now and play the newbies
You come out with some at times ???.

28 Oct 2025 14:00:56
It's definitely more complex than what you are saying, Jay.

Syrianos, Edu, other recruitment staff at Forest and Marinakis all have a say on transfers and the coach has some input on what type of player they want or players who have caught their eye. One person is not the whole story.

Everything wrong at Forest was not the fault of one coach, then was the fault of another, now it's the players and or Edu? It's just more complex than one thing. Even luck with injuries has a part to play.

28 Oct 2025 15:57:42
They all want sacking who had a say in bringing in tge new players none of them were fit and that's just for starters who in the right mind would spend 180 million on unfit players maranakis and edu that's who ????.

28 Oct 2025 18:45:53
How long before I have to get the little guy in tmy profile picture a bald head and ginger beard?

27 Oct 2025 17:33:10
I left this site years ago because of the rubbish I received when I was critical of our owner.
This is a guy who appears to lack any kind of patience and who works things in a way which I genuinely think is incompatible with the stability and careful budgeting we need.
To let Edu spend 190m, then sack Nuno and hire AP is madness.
Throw in Clattenburg, a confrontation with our successful manager on the pitch, and what do we have?
190m? How about spending half of that on the ground?
He has money, but does he have the ability to help the company slowly evolve and slowly succeed.

We now have a manager designed to keep us up so in a weird sense I’m hopeful he may have seen some sense.
The odds of staying up when you have less than 10 points after 10 games are historically v low.
I’ve supported the team for 45 years but in an odd way this feels the most frustrated I’ve been.
Time to hope SD gets out 4 or 5 top players firing. As that’s the only way we stay up.

27 Oct 2025 18:07:07
Welcome back mate! Frankly, I couldn't agree with you more.

I've just replied in a similar vein to DTP below.

27 Oct 2025 18:10:47
Good post Forest! And welcome back. I’ve been critical myself of the long list of Mr M s “ indiscretions “ and serious errors of judgement since he arrived ( whilst also praising his commitment, passion, ambition and investment).

He does have a penchant for sacking successful managers though, firstly Cooper and now Nuno ( having firstly set them both up to fail).
Like you, I’ll get me little tin hat on….

27 Oct 2025 18:25:50
So you can't remember the fawaz years then?

27 Oct 2025 18:30:35
Good post forest you need to be a strong person to stay on this site and voice your opinion all opinions welcome that's what the sites about but not everyone will agree so you just after bite your lip and carry on. voicing what you believe in everyone is welcome back I mean look at dtp is nickname is the terminator ???.

27 Oct 2025 18:55:09
I remember the Fawaz years and those before when we were close to the bottom of division 2. The current owner might have his faults but for me he only wants the very best for Forest, even if he has some odd ways of going about it. On a separate note it was my mothers cremation today, she was a Forest season ticket holder for over 50 years and the last few years informing her of the promotion followed by last years incredible achievements really perked her up and, if only for that, i thank Mr M.

27 Oct 2025 19:03:44
I'm loving your well-measured posts on here recently Skegs.

27 Oct 2025 19:18:52
Yes. Powerful post Forest, hard to disagree with any points you made. Does make me think about relegation though, even if I feel it is to early! Is it?

27 Oct 2025 19:26:12
DTP - this has been simmering for a while. So, let's get things straight with you at last. You have recently posted that you're a 68 year old male who only cares about the future. Yet, you now bring up Fawaz to respond to posts by others discussing the present and hoped-for future.

You also take a swipe at Stokey for 'wasting his time' with his reading. What on earth do you think you're doing on this site? Um, reading.

I've also noticed that you have a talent for twisting things subtly in your favour. Fair play to you for that intelligence - but I see through it.

Generally, I used to enjoy your posts in the past DTP. But something seems to have changed with you recently and it's for the worse. I hope to see the previous-DTP back again.

27 Oct 2025 19:28:55
Yeah that Marinakis! What a disaster for the club. Premier League football, EUROPA League, 145th most valuable squad in World football.

??.

27 Oct 2025 19:32:42
DTP what’s Fawaz got to do with it? We were talking about the present incumbent.

Fawaz was, if anything, even more of a disaster. At least Mr M has football experience with Olympiacos rather than the literal and football desert of Kuwait. But both have and had failings which need calling out.
Forests fears for our future are well founded imo.

27 Oct 2025 19:54:35
Good post forest.
As Skeg state's opinions vary and if they sway in a certain way some believe you're some sort of alien for saying as it is. ??.

27 Oct 2025 20:24:16
Lego, stop stalking DTP. It's getting weird! ?.

27 Oct 2025 20:25:41
Been a fan for 45 years and this is the most frustrated he's ever been?
OK then not just fawaz, Doughty then was far more frustrating than anything anyone is witnessing now imo
Is that a good enough reply without wrighting a sermon?

27 Oct 2025 20:27:27
Thank you legolas and cyclist did he get us to them places or was it cooper and then nuno really with a no hope squad of players assembled in bulk buying. he got rid of them both OK the football wasn't great to watch sometimes but the coaches knew what they were doing and proved it fact but the coaches became bigger than Mr ms ego and he doesn't like that now we're staring championship football in the face if I was a betting man with plenty of money in my pocket I would put it on us going down.

and don't worry about Mr m he will get his money back not like he needs it and move on leaving forest in the crap.

27 Oct 2025 20:30:58
Lego I was far worse as 79 way before you came on, so you haven't been reading it that long
Chill out
???.

27 Oct 2025 20:31:51
The club is in the best place it's been in decades. What is this total nonsense? ???.

27 Oct 2025 20:34:51
Oakham condolences nate and well said.

27 Oct 2025 20:39:07
Skeggs marinakis isn't going anywhere and how would he get his billion pounds back?

27 Oct 2025 20:56:01
I don't know now actually. maybe he should ask edu that question seeing as though he's spending all his money ???.

27 Oct 2025 21:10:43
DTP - I can assure you that I'm chilled! I hope that you don't mind me speaking my mind about your posts. I mean no malice.

Cyclist - I am not stalking DTP! However, looking through his kitchen window now I'm amazed that he uses a cheap brand of washing-up liquid and not Fairy.

27 Oct 2025 21:14:48
Sorry for your loss Oakham. And great that your mam got to hear about forest in Europe and all that they've done over the last few years. and also great for the new young kids that are following forest now and seeing what we seen many years ago that's what it's all about.

but I still think maranakis as pressed the self destruct button because of his ego.

27 Oct 2025 21:45:19
But you refuse to see how nuno has talked himself out of a job, it's definitely got to be marinakis fault or edu can't possibly be nunos fault
Anyone wanting marinakis out, mainly carlo, needs their head looking at.

27 Oct 2025 21:53:22
Say what you like lego, doesn't bother me one bit
Lego I got two dishwashers BTW, an electric one and the Mrs and an ironing board I bought the Mrs for Xmas along with a vacume cleaner ????.

27 Oct 2025 22:18:42
Handbags at forty paces again ayy gents. ??.

27 Oct 2025 22:25:42
What an awful day for you Oakham. Many of us on here have been through the same thing and, frankly, it's s****y. However, what a lovely final part to your message about your Mum. It sounds like your news of Forest put an inward-smile on her face.

Try to stay strong.

27 Oct 2025 23:02:37
Well, obviously it does DTP or you wouldn't reply to me! I'm glad that you saw the funny side of my post. I bet Mrs DTP was elated with those romantic Xmas gifts! Do you want me to get rid of the bag of rubbish currently sitting outside your patio doors?

28 Oct 2025 06:54:23
FF, DTP is pretty measured poster, I only recall him turning on one manager in the 11 years I’ve been on here. If he’s worried we should all be worried. The days of ND (God rest his soul) and fawaz are highly relevant their ownership years left any new owner with a huge mountain to climb from a football club infrastructure perspective.

If thoughts are gathering about turning on the owner good luck with that. Can the electrician in the house please disconnect the mains feed and remove the fuse board from the wall ?.

28 Oct 2025 12:28:09
History will prove Nuno, s word were correct.

28 Oct 2025 13:07:24
He's all ready proved his point carlo. he said he didn't get the players he wanted to build the team on and make them better and ready for a massive season. We'll look around you point proven can't argue with that.

28 Oct 2025 14:26:07
Nuno was right about the full backs, no question. Sending Caubano on loan looks like a pretty dumb mistake in retrospect.

Nuno should have kept what was going on between him, Marinakis and Edu in private though. He also should have got on with the job he was paid £millions to do whether he agreed with decisions taken above or not. We've all had to do that in our lives when on far less money.

I bet Stokey didn't sit in a presser slagging off his bro, the Chief Constable in public and he wasn't on £3M a year or whatever Nuno was on. I wasn't allowed to discuss in public what was going on between me and my manger at the college. It's taking the pee and he also took the money. It's wrong. The boring footy and being sussed out since March just makes it worse.

28 Oct 2025 14:40:28
Exactly GoldStars/ 2Stars, comparing with previous owners, is exactly what anyone turning on the owners should do. Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Marinakis and his lieutenants are not perfect, nobody is. They will make mistakes, like anyone else. But Marinakis appointed Cooper, appointed Nuno, funded our rise to Europe and the Prem.

They have also kept together a squad (minus Elanga) that qualified for Europe and added some good young players, many of whom are paying in the toughest league in the world for the first time. If Dyche can only just keep us up then that is a failure and Marinakis will, quite rightly, agree IMO.

So are we blaming the players? The coaches? The owner? Edu? Syrianos? People working under them?

It's obviously complex, and blaming the owner is simplistic nonsense of the first degree. The owner has the club in the best place it has been for decades. THINK ABOUT IT!

?.

28 Oct 2025 17:17:30
You are right Cyclist. Slagging off the CC ( or any Officer) was a disciplinary offence under the police discipline regulations. I think “ bringing the Force into disrepute “ probably covered it.

27 Oct 2025 13:52:32
It's good that SD has a full week ( well, 6 days anyway) with all his available squad to get his ideas across. He, s been here for 6 days and had 2 tough matches which will be the pattern for much of the season. It's going to be hand to mouth.
Priority is survival especially this season where it's a much tougher task. We don't have the usual newly promoted teams as the safety net. No more under resourced Sheffield Utds, Luton's or Southamptons. Sunderland are flying after the Chelsea result and looked solid when they beat us. Burnley are just Burnley, organised and difficult to break down ( following the Dyche template) Bournemouth brilliant so far, Wolves look poor, Fulham will pick up eventually as will West Ham when Nunos tactical ideas kick in ( perhaps after a few defensive additions in the next transfer window).

I thought Brentford looked poor when we beat them and they lost their manager to Spurs but they totally outplayed Liverpool at the weekend
Plus we won't, I think, be banking 12 points against Spurs and Man Utd like last season.
Make no mistake, we are going to struggle but we have the specialist survival expert at the helm. I have every confidence in him. Let's not worry about how nice the deckchairs look when we are the football equivalent of the Titanic eh comrades. COYR.

27 Oct 2025 16:52:36
Nice analogy Stokey.

27 Oct 2025 16:54:46
Don’t worry Stokie, Edu will solve our problems in the January window.

27 Oct 2025 17:46:14
He's already started investing in good players for tge championship carlo. so let's give him a round of applause ?????.

27 Oct 2025 17:59:12
Or exacerbate them, Carlo.

27 Oct 2025 18:12:54
Edu giveth and Edu taketh away! Blessed be the name of Edu……. or should that be the “blame” of Edu? ?.

27 Oct 2025 19:40:01
Back in 2017 the American business man John Jay Moore's thought he had brought Nottingham Forest, only to be double crossed in the eleventh hour by Fawaz, who pinched all his ideas and plans for Forest and then passed them on to his mate Mr Marinakis, not saying we would have been successful under Moores ownership, but thanks to them two we will never will.

We could have been on the first wave of American money which is now prefilent in the Championship and Premier league teams. Sheffield Wednesday have just got rid of a terrible owner, but at the end of next month, the majority of investors in them will be American, and they will invest in them.

27 Oct 2025 19:55:52
Alas poor Edu what have you done?

Ref watch this morning said definitely goal kick not corner Dyche gets a yellow card for complaining and Gallagher says foul on Sels

2 very poor decisions AGAIN.

Agree5 Disagree0

27 Oct 2025 10:37:45
Sels was so embarrassed, he didn't do a Pickford and scream at the ref. Nor did we see a Forest player shove the B'th player away from Sels. Did VAR say not enough to disallow?

27 Oct 2025 11:28:42
I've watched it a few times and I still can't see a foul anywhere on Sels. It's a contact sport and the contact on Sels is minimal. Should've been a goal kick though.

27 Oct 2025 12:40:21
Sadly, it definitely wasn't a corner and there was a push on him into the goal when he was in the air.

But it doesn't change the fact, the better team deservedly won yesterday, always a tough place to go and they are on fire this season. I don't think we should be beating ourselves or the team up too much for not getting anything yesterday.

27 Oct 2025 13:22:57
Doesn't make any difference anyway. Murillo stood there with his hand up is backside while the guy lit a cigar then had a fee shot for the 2nd goal anyway. We wouldn't have scored if we were still playing now.

27 Oct 2025 08:49:26
Having let the dust settle a bit and reading the all the posts. It seems not many are blaming the manager but the players instead.
There have been so many very poor decisions made by the club this year going back to the January transfer window and I think the outcome is hitting us full on right now.
Some on here saying we looked tired and rightly so, we were second best physically and mentally all over the pitch. They had a week off, we played Thursday is obviously a factor but we knew all about that months ago.

It highlights how poorly prepared we are.
Make no mistake we are in one massive relegation battle and if we carry on like this we will go down. That would be disaster and possibly points deduction next season. I see it as that bad.
So if we manage to ever find our best eleven, I say play that side in the league and use what's left to play in Europe. Unfortunately I'm sad to say but European football can not get in the way of staying up.
Agree or disagree guys, it's up to you.

27 Oct 2025 09:39:45

27 Oct 2025 09:51:14
It's a no brained forget about Europe any domestic cup. Its got to be premier league survival and then try and build again but this time slowly.

27 Oct 2025 09:58:39
Good post gazzi,
I still think dyche won't do the rotation though, unless forced by injury and suspension
These new players must be regretting joining us.

27 Oct 2025 12:03:10
I regret them joining us ??.

27 Oct 2025 12:54:21
It's definitely not just about finding a best 11. We can't play the same 11 every Thursday then Sunday. We have to start to use other players more and also be clever with subs and avoid key players doing 100 minutes in a single game when we can, which we didn't do against Porto.

Dyche left key players on nearly the whole game against Porto then played the same tired 11 Sunday and paid for it. You could see the difference in energy levels.

27 Oct 2025 08:38:32
Against Man Utd we need to control the midfield which against Bournemouth we most certainly didn't

Luis Anderson and MGW as a 3 are fine at home but especially after a European match looked a yard slower than they did

Against Man U they should play along with Hudson Odoi and Bakwa on the wings with Jesus upfront but it should be a different midfield after the Graz game against Dirty Leeds.

Agree1 Disagree0

27 Oct 2025 08:07:25
I read so much about owners and managers but at the end of the day when a player can't make an accurate 5 yard pass we're in trouble, MGW must of misplaced so many of them yesterday, and I will put on. very unpopular opinion out there I think a lot of our issues woth the lack of attacking threat due to Anderson he is over playing it and smowing things down so much now looks like he has lost confidence with his team mates too me so goes safe each time instead of expansive.

Agree3 Disagree0

27 Oct 2025 17:31:18
Was thinking very similar Red James. very little end product as regards assists and goals.
Wouldn't normally be an issue but no one else in midfield is contributing in those departments.

27 Oct 2025 18:52:57
Maybe the players are pissed off with being messed about most of the players are the same players last season. They got us into Europe with a good manager that got them playing good football. And then the manager leaves surely this is going to effect players they just don't become bad players in a matter of weeks just hope Dyche can sort this out.

26 Oct 2025 21:53:07
Not having the luxury this season of the three promoted teams will struggle, getting some sort of run going, is going to be so important, but with these players at the moment, it's a head scratcher where wins will come from?, Sean Dyche has a week with the player, s and next game against man u the team I think will look very different!.

Bit of a querk, the three bottom teams have Nunos finger prints all over them?.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Oct 2025 22:26:53
All I know is dyche can't put that same side out against man utd and expect a different outcome
But he more or less will, he'll play awoniyi or wood just for size, the goalkeeper and back four will be same, MGW and Anderson will be nailed on so only changes will be wingers or winger nothing else
I dreaded dyche getting the job but somehow it needs to work, just can't see it at all tbh.

27 Oct 2025 03:19:04
Just on Dyches reaction to CHO pulling out of a tackle early in game and subbed at half time, his place is looking ominous?,

27 Oct 2025 05:41:43
We haven't got the quality in depth that we thought we had. No other good centre halves, midfielders, wingers or strikers than what we had available on Sunday.

27 Oct 2025 09:39:18
To be fair Ravers we all honestly don't know if the others in the squad are decent or not because they haven't had a chance to show what they are capable of. All goes back to signing loads of players late in the window and therefore having no preseason with the group. ?.

28 Oct 2025 13:16:59
We are preparing for a season or two in the championship - already got our manager in place to get us out.

26 Oct 2025 18:25:29
I'm really finding it hard to work out what's going on with Forest atm. On paper, we have the players to do a job (although as the Legend rightly said unfortunately we don't play on paper, we play on grass) ; we now have a proven, gritty manager; we're still in the PL and playing in Europe once again. Yet, we seem determined to throw all of our achievements and new identity away.

Big M and Edu are the architects of our current demise. I think both have tried to make the club sprint even when it was still learning to walk in top-flight football again. Nuno knew it. I hope that this is simply a case of over-ambition. However, the effects of unrealistic over-ambition can be equally as negative as having no-ambition.

So, I guess that the effects of the mistakes that our club senior management has made have now filtered through the funnel into the players.

We've all seen it - our players seem currently devoid of self-belief, emotion, direction, fight and ambition. Dyche certainly has a job to do with them and it seems mostly with their mentality.

I'm confident that we'll bounce back Reds. Dyche is the man to manage us out of this situation. I just hope that Big M and Edu have learnt not to interfere and give the guy a proper crack at the whip. I am a dreamer by nature though. We'll see.

Agree5 Disagree0

26 Oct 2025 18:35:09
That was on the players today, men v boys don't care who Manager is but was unacceptable all around no fight no confidence and like dyche hinted at no fitness

Whoever signed all those players in the summer should go, to bring taiwo n Yates on says it all after spending 130mil

We in big trouble no 2 ways about it, he'll make us stronger n more disciplined but a lot 9f these players got no fight in them, I could very easily see us going down

All on big m.

26 Oct 2025 19:29:27
Selling elanga the biggest mistake
He was our only outlet.

26 Oct 2025 19:35:45
Lego, your post hits the nail squarely on the head mate. I posted something very similar a week or so ago, blaming shocking ownership and how badly this club we love is run. I believe I even cited Bournemouth as a prime example of a well run club.
The people on here blaming Dyche need to give their heads a wobble. He arrived Tuesday and had 1 and a half coaching sessions before Porto. Then recovery Friday, travelling to the South Coast Saturday. Then playing a team 2nd in the table. They will turn over sides in much better shape than Forest this season if they can keep their manager and key players. Also, they had a week off with no European involvement. It showed today. Dyche, very reasonably, picked the same team as Thursday to provide some sort of continuity.

The downside is they looked knackered from the off, especially against a fast pacy team like Bournemouth who play with great intensity right from the off
This is what happens when you “ change horses mid stream” as I've put it previously. No pre season, 13 new players to assimilate and a disastrous managerial appointment bringing an entirely different style of football. The players probably don’t know if they are coming or going.
Mr M for all his ambition and passion gives even his successful managers an impossible task. So SC, Nuno, Ange, rinse and repeat….
The good news is that SD has a week with the squad and the chance to prepare properly for Man Utd. What’s the old saying “ ( Dyche” ) can do a good job given time, miracles will take a bit longer…….

Stokey, I think you have the measure of it, we have just played a team that is purring with their performances right now and it absolutely showed today.

It's going to take a bit before we are back to our confident best in what we do, it's going to be a frustrating season but I think there will be at least 3 teams worse than us come the end of the season.

26 Oct 2025 20:12:59
Thirteen bew players we don't see stokey
See what happens by Xmas and I'm sure you'll have changed opinion
If he keeps trying to play the same side without rotation when in Europe then we will be screwed had the option of playing fresh players in awoniyi, kaleamundo, Hutchinson, mcatee, cuhba, sangare, Yates from the start, his subs and tactics to get back in the game were woeful but predictable.

26 Oct 2025 20:17:35
Isn't Syrianos important for recruitment. Him and Edu were named as appointing Dyche so I'm guessing he has a hand in other recruitment too.

As for over-ambition, appointing Dyche is not ambitious and he is Edu and Syrianos appointment, not Mr Marinakis'.

If their honest most forest fans spirits are quite low witnessing the carry on of M and his “trusted” lieutenant, the players will be feeling much the same, like us they have seen the carry on enfolding, yes signings were needed but it seems much of the money spent has been spent rashly to say the least.
The defence seems to have been wilfully neglected Midfeild and wingers arrived in abundance.

Team spirit is crucial and once broken so hard to rebuild but that is Sean and staffs job.
If they fail we all know what will happen and we will return to relative obscurity.
Let’s hope M eventually faces up to reality and does what he should have done a while back.

26 Oct 2025 20:39:06
Iraola job was under threat 3 years ago so it hasn't been plain sailing for them. However you can’t deny we seemed toothless compared to Bournemouth. Tavener and Kroupi where did they come from? Never mind Semenyo who was more out of the game today. I can’t think of equivalent Forest players. However we should count our chickens! We have two first team England players, two under 21 players, one of which was the captain.

9 of the players last season got us to where Bournemouth and Sunderland are today. So we have one injured and one sold. There are teams worse off for players leaving such as Brentford and Brighton yet they are still doing better. I cannot think of a better manager to galvanise these players and get them back to their true potential. Players that don’t subscribe to SDs philosophy and discipline should move on.

26 Oct 2025 20:50:04
It's irrelevant tbh as what's needed is for dyche to find a winning formula and fast
That might upset a few players and might need him to be more expensive in his tactics
I still believe we have to break up the pairing of MGW and Anderson to see any improvement
They simply aren't doing it in the opposition half.

26 Oct 2025 21:12:25
I think MGW would be more effective as a number 8 than a 10. He is a good passer, has good workrate and can harry the opposition well. He doesn't score much and can create from number 8.

Anderson looks like a better number 6 than 8. He is great except in and around the box, where his shooting and final ball are often off. Everywhere else he's brilliant so number 6 looks the better option for him.

26 Oct 2025 21:57:50
Intrigued by your comment DTP as to what you think is irrelevant. Is team spirit, pride, player self-belief and a positive club ethos irrelevant to you for our club?

26 Oct 2025 22:12:46
Lego it's irrelevant who is in charge of recruitment right now as dyche has to pick a winning formula from what we have?
To me this has megson written all over it again.

26 Oct 2025 22:59:01
Cyclist they can't play in same team if you want goals it's been proven in over 200 games they've played that they don't provide a goal threat and you can't have two midfielders doing that let alone three when you add sangare, Yates, into the equation has to be broken up as a partnership.

26 Oct 2025 23:11:21
Oh, it's recruitment now DTP - you didn't actually say that initially.

Megson. Really? Do you think we should just all give up now and fall on our swords forgetting all the great things our club has achieved in just a few years?

Personally, I don't buy into your negativity DTP and I still see hope for our club to turn things around.

26 Oct 2025 18:24:50
No point people on the site getting at each other at all. We all want the same thing but circumstances and personalities within the club have not helped. There is a confidence gap between the players, the coaching staff and the bureaucrats up top, and the fans. We are at the mercy of events and need some luck.

Fans will always be the same bsered in any team they support. Especially on here fans weren't happy that nuno got us into European conference last season they thought nuno should of got us into champions league after the start of the season where everyone would of been happy with mid table with the squad we had me personally I would of been happy with 10th and build on it but no Mr m wanted more edu wanted more fans wanted more they wanted attacking football so along comes ange and edus players how did that work out?? because now we've gone back to a more defensive coach could you imagine us in champions league losing 6 or 7 nil every game now the Premier league will be a distant memory soon all because we want things done now.

nuno did the right thing voicing his opinions and now was proved right to do so and to leave a sinking ship no other decent manager wants to come to fact so I will back dyche for the simple fact he's stepped up to take on a hopeless job simples.

26 Oct 2025 19:19:15
Nuno did not skeggs he should have done it in private and remembered who payed his wages
I'm sure it would have been sorted had it been handled privately by nuno.

26 Oct 2025 20:38:51
His opinion should be allowed to be voiced in public or in private, DTP.

26 Oct 2025 20:45:49
You seem to forget dtp it was Mr m that came onto the pitch first and mouthed off in front of millions of people around the world at nuno. you work as a self employed person as I remember what if you was doing a job for a person asked for the tools and equipment to get the job done properly to the standards that you knew would get the job done properly with your repartition on the line knowing the job wouldn't get done properly just do the job and not say anything because I know I wouldn't he was proved right in what he said fact look at us now simples no argument really look forward to Mansfield next season pal.

26 Oct 2025 20:58:19
Skeggs marinakis moved on from that and then gave nuno a new three year contract as reward for his achievements only for nuno to go on national tv and slate him two weeks running, so marinakis had put a line through it, but nuno waited till he got his contract to get his own back
Explain that any differently?

26 Oct 2025 21:13:47
No need to dtp he done a great job wanted to do better. wasnt given the tools and walked with a nice pay off and his reputation in tact knowing Mr m will not listen to a manager that as done a great job and prefers to listen to a sidekick edu that knows nothing about the team or the players needed to come in to make it a better team simples.

26 Oct 2025 21:14:56
Nuno basically ripped off the club and Marinakis. He was paid millions a year to do the job asked of him and when they asked him to work differently he ran off with the money without doing what he was paid for. He can get lost.

If I was paid millions a year, do you think I'd be slagging off my boss in a press conference in front of millions of people? No, as I'm not an idiot. (be nice)

26 Oct 2025 22:14:49
What tools did you expect him to get skeggs?
According to some he got thirteen of them?

26 Oct 2025 22:16:09
Rubbish DTP. I think that Nuno is a man of honour and integrity who expects the same in return. I think that he sensed rightly that the rug was being pulled from under his feet and spoke out at this disloyalty.

Rightly so IMO. The new contract was just a side-show - let's face it, the guy wasn't doing it for the money. That was never Nuno's prime motivation - pride was.

26 Oct 2025 22:41:10
Do you really lego then take a look at his CV of spitting his dummy out
If you and the likes carry on you'll be looking for a new owner and we still don't have anything to sell as a club, just debt
Be very careful on that one and what you wish for
Nuno the real trouble in all this, not happy walk away don't sign a contract then mouth off on tv.

26 Oct 2025 23:17:51
And as for Skegs comments - I don't think I've ever agreed with you more mate.

27 Oct 2025 05:50:25
Which part of the fact he was asked a question don't you understand, DTP? Answering honestly is not 'mouthing off in public'. He was sacked because hurt Marinakis's ego and Marinakis acted like a petulant child and got rid.

27 Oct 2025 18:02:39
Ravers - agree with you mate.

DTP - please don't attempt to muddy the waters here. Just to clarify - there is no way that I want a change in ownership of our club. However, I have always viewed Big M as a double-edged sword. Of course I love the fact he has consistently 'put his money where his mouth is' with his inward investment, I appreciate his passion and the fact that he is unconventional to the football establishment and happy to 'buck the trend' - that's the Forest way! I don't like Big M's massive ego, his inability to delegate leading to him interfering too much and also his tendency to think with his heart and not his head when it comes to Forest.

None of us are perfect though I suppose!
